No IDEALLY companies hit all of their deadlines...this is not a perfect world, nor a company that has been operating for decades. While true missing deadlines is not a good thing, its almost completely understandable given CWRN's current position as a junior mining startup. Production is, of course, the big takeaway info from CWRN in the last coupla months. Gonna keep beating a dead horse tho cuz that's all you have huh?
Scooping some CNUV courtesy of this board. GLTA.
Back into this one for the long-term tomorrow morning. GLTUA. GO MMTE!
I'm very excited to see a company in Africa making genuine strides to have the people in the community benefit strongly as well. They are actually in operations too it looks like! I'm in for some shares tomorrow.
Upon deeper inspection it appears they haven't achieved positive cash flow....does anyone here have an idea how much product is in this mine that they are supposedly fast tracking? TIA.
Not alot of discussion here.....this looks like a potential solid stock. The new news seemed really good as well. Anyone have any good thoughts on recent developments. The revenues from 09 to 10 increase was really impressive for sure.
Thank you for chiming in, whew. Was taking me a day and a half to use the translator to punch in the words on that document, lol.
Very well could. Makes you wonder if that is the case and the entire contract will be at that price. Would set real large earnings back more than a few months if thats the deal, but it'll be good to get something from the horse's mouth on this.
The website shows a letter of intent by a Chinese corporation in 2009.

"chances are the ore price was 80 a ton when the contract was signed"
Very possible indeed.
I can see that, but I don't think Bob would be *insanely* dumb enough to report less than what he actually took in an effort to dodge government responsibilities...it would bring the whole operation to its knees, and most everything they have done to get to this point has been done by the book. I don't see them cooking said book on the first shipment after 5 years of blood, sweat and tears, as it were. VERY illogical IMO.
The 3.6 number *could* be an estimate of cost of shipping which was *speculated* earlier as something that consistently occurs in some arenas. That seems to make some sense considering profit margin is figured at 50-60% at market/industry rates right? The 80 number is consistent with other mining companies production costs as well. So if they did get the revenue (7 mil+) that people were projecting it would actually confirm a 50% profit, which is possible by all accounts that longs here have given and what typical industry returns are. It would explain their ability to add more heavy equipment per the PR. Otherwise they wouldn't have any money leftover to pull that particular item off (or potentially get another ship here)unless the cost of production per ton is really low for CWRN, and no one has been suggesting that as far as I can remember, Otherwise I would have seen 70-80% profit margin rants. Thoughts?
The quote you posted actually is proof that CWRN is entitled to 100% of PANAM....but you know that already I think.
Sweet....I'd rather have it that way than the other way that's for sure. Saw some posts that said the opposite, and seeing as it's not the most stable country (in some areas) I could see that they would have strict regulations on some things. Guess we'll know soon enough...and I suppose BEST/WORST countries to do business is truly open to interpretation.
Yea I agree. And as for the one time permit, I don't think it'll prove to be a huge deal. From what I've heard it's extremely difficult to do business in Mexico so maybe they require new permits for every single load. Its just a little extra paperwork each time so it's not a big deal in that respect. I can see how Mexico would like to have the flexibility to withdraw permitting if a company turned sketchy on them, so this is a good way to do it, by not allowing permits that extend operations out for months/years. It could also be one of those deals where the company has to build up trust and then they get more flexible permitting....JMO.
I believe (being the eternal optimist) is that the revenue number could be just an estimate, just because it was a very round number at $3,600,000 or whatever it was. When filling out permitting for state/local governments/insurance (where applicable and not fraudulent practice) businesses typically have to estimate revenue during a part of the process. With CWRN registering for the permit they may have had to guesstimate what type of revenue they would get from the ore. As a person who has filled out similar forms I've always low balled my estimates in the past; no particular reason other than I wanted to be conservative in all aspects of the business projections. There is clearly not enough information out there to fully determine what the real deal is, but there are other scenarios besides a "doomsday" scenario that they got $80/ton. JMO. It'll definitely be interesting to find out more, but whatever the end result it's not the end of the world....nothing at best and a setback at the worst.
When is the merger "supposed" to take place? I supposed thats the billion dollar question eh? I just imagine the process taking awhile, and am wondering how long they have been working it all out. TIA.
This is the same tired story over and over again. (from personal experience) Startup companies DO NOT go perfectly smooth! The biggest and best who invest millions and billions don't even get there stuff right all of the time (see Boeing Dreamliner). The timeline of events has been off but the events in the timeline have been getting punched out one at a time. We are leagues ahead of where this company was just 5 measely years ago and revenue is imminent from here on out. Our questions will be answered within a few months...I really believe Q2 will be our blowout, if it doesn't come sooner with financials and CE removal....man how many different ways does it need to be said??
Yes I also have an order in place for SNEY on Monday. This one will be much more fun to track if I have a substantial (by my standards) investment on this one. The risk/reward here is incredible...and the beauty of technology these days is you can eliminate soooo much more of the risk than you could even years back. Alot of people don't realize that and stick with the Big boys, but if you get a group of people together like you do here and on other MB's on this site, you can do alot of damage in a hurry...sweet!
Yes I definitely agree about exponential PPS growth.....which is why it's all the more beneficial to lock up as many areas as they can ahead of time....I'm sure they are fully engaged in this train of thought I just wonder how swiftly they will be able to explore and lock down other areas. This thing is a winner already in my book, Its just with REE being in such high demand every single acre of land this company locks up is just that much more insane of an increase in profitability.
I agree. You have got to wonder what their capabilities are at adding new sites to their holdings quickly...before other companies flock to SL and gobble up the other areas.
I hope SNEY has that kind of upside....geez 0 revs and $4 a share?
0 revenues and they are trading tens of millions of dollars of stock daily and are at almost $4.00? what the heck is going on here? There are other revenue producing metals companies that are still sitting at pennies! How is this thing NOT going to crash? help
What kind of sustained production are we looking at with dredging operations within the radius of the concession? I suppose they may not have that type of information fully available yet...just wondering if we are looking at 3 years at the types of production numbers they were talking about or 13.
What do you guys make of my days Etrade events:
"I called you regarding this, but I was only able to leave a voice mail. After reviewing your transaction history it appears that we placed a trade to sell 11484 SNEY, the trade executed, then we reversed the trade. Now you have a long position for 10000 SNEY and a short position for -1484 SNEY. I am putting in a request to have your position updated. Since the market is closed on 4/22/2011, this may not be updated until the morning on 4/25/2011. I will follow up to make sure the situation is resolved."
I never placed a buy or sell today. I only had 10,000 SNEY in that account. MM's playing games, or an honest screw up on their end? I'm planning on picking up more SNEY next week either way. GLTA.
Im the same way....I'm actually an INVESTOR, not a trader. My trading version of fun comes from playing pinkies like this, and watching to see the companies evolve.
Was the ask at .0005 all day or at .0004? Reading some posts and it looks like it was at .0005? If it was my bad, I had my order in at .0004 but it never filled. Ill slap the ask on Monday. I already have a few shares but I want to triple up.
ANEMIC volume on this sucker too after the two good PRs. There is NO trust in this company! Big time gamble but lets give it a shot!
I didn't get my 500,000 shares today at .0004....lame try again Monday I guess.
Makes 2 of us. Not hesitating to add with almost every available dollar....love watching my PPS average drop. GLTU.
What I know is IF I got in when you guys did and have that many shares there is no f****** way I would let these bashers get the best of me and give them my shares. You will be kicking yourself 6 months from now....Then I suppose you could have a heart attack watching this thing before then..
Huh what who where?
Well I hit the ask at .0107 with less than half of what I wanted to spend...I think we are going back down unfortunately as well. Ill be ready for the next bear raid thats for sure.
Just picked up 1,000 shares...looking forward to watching the progress.
Damnit I thought my powder was ready but its nots...stupid Etrade.
You know it.
Whered all the super duper cheap shares go?!?
lmao!!!.....sorry.....but yea I was lmao....
Dude....posters were posting TODAY that they shorted more than what you are talking about and made a profit. I believe they shorted at .089 and got out at .083.
NOt from what I've seen. FINRA stuff has been posted here numerous times that have shown high percentages of shorts. Rocket haven't u posted those b4?
Dry Powder is READY! Lets do it!
