Agreed, but hard to figure the fall recently WITH insiders buying. Still, I added a chunk again today. Good luck to us!
Agreed Sal, thought we would be running into ASCO, but I think the overall malaise in biotechs is holding us down. Bottom line though, the only thing that has changed is that the time until we get news continues to shorten. Might continue to add shares up to the point that news breaks.
Interesting we are moving up and INO continues it's fall. I see 1.92 as the bottom there but who knows?
Some news will put an end to the penny ante games and the MMs will get blown out of the way. Won't be long now.
Interesting times for sure, and my biggest holding. Just waiting for the popcorn to pop!
Something may be up, had a 12k bid at 75 with 6k shares available sitting for 10 minutes with no fill, then 1 k filled and now ask is .765. Someone jumped ahead to get the shares. When this has happened in the past stocks I have experienced this with began to move strong.
Yeah, bottom line it a shock, so it hurts, momentarily. Like you say if that's what it takes, we've all been to the dentist and survived. You can bet they are working on solutions that diminish, the pain without reducing effectiveness.
Check out the id on yahoo board it is definitely a different person. The grammar, syntax, sentence structure, lack of self aggrandizement, not to mention the lower level of intellectual function are not Mensa worthy. Not a compliment to Mensa but a viable observation.
The mensa1963m on this board is the same imposter of mensa_1963 on the yahoo board. Ignore the fraud . While the original is pompous, he has made very good points and is obviously knowledgeable.
LOL, I might not borrow but my portfolio might become a one trick pony!
Just a thought, as we sit here waiting for news and a big move. If you can, and if you have the guts and like this stock like I do have some cash on hand in case there is one last death rattle left in the MMs. I am thinking they may try to take this back to the low 60s one last time before it goes. Not bashing at all, I believe this will really run but If they do, it confirms the coming run even more, so I want to be prepared to grab a last load of shares before the run.
Good luck to all of you. Hope it works out as you plan. I lack the patience for such a venture.
Still some 1.65s out there why haven't you grabbed them up?
And a comment from the board intellectual. Nice. Still no one with any substantive reason why this is such a great buy,
Is it revenues, growth, or profitability? No. Compelling new entertainment tech? No. I'll stay clear, thanks and good luck, I would not buy at 15 cents either.
I did some DD, other than some far fetched theories, nothing that is indicative of a value beyond 15 cents for this stock.
Better yet, enlighten us with your expertise about why this is such a compelling buy even as it has fallen 30 cents today.
Yep, looks like fly paper to me. A couple of players pumping to raise PPS, sell high, buy back low, pump and repeat.
Can anyone explain what this really is?m
Can I get a little Richie Havens with that.(bet no more than 1 or 2 people here know who that is!)
Yeah I just reboosted my position, sold some INO to prep for the run this month. Looking forward to what's coming.
Hey Tremors, I feel your frustration. I can only tell you that I hold ONCS and 4 other stocks, Inovio, two mobile services companies and a tech/chip developer. We know what ONCS and INO have done lately. One of my internet stocks just reported a record quarter after falling nearly 50%. It has moved up 10% of it it's crater low (big deal). The tech chip company announced a one of a kind computer chip and has fallen 40%.
My point is the market has chosen to punish micrcaps across the board indiscriminately. When this stops, and it will, these stocks will thrive again. When the news starts to come out, ONCS will rise dramatically. Unless you borrowed to buy shares and need you need to repay, I would suggest to sit tight, and if you really believe, accumulate cheap shares. Good luck.
I am concerned in that it gives the market makers the potential to drop the PPS on low volume just to see if they can chase some cheap shares out. It would not surprise me to see us pushed down one more time toward 60. It's all just head games and cheap shares though, and in a little time, it will not matter except to curse ourselves for not selling something else to buy more at such ridiculously low levels.
AstraZeneca should take the money and run! But they won't. They have nothing in pipeline and several big drugs coming off patent.
Big pharma is such a joke compared to the micro biotechs. Such an incredible amount of bureaucracy and inertia. I know AZN very well before and since Astra and Zeneca merged In late 1990s. The amount of waste is incredible.
It's why I love these incubator stocks like ONCS. Especially ONCS. But INO is getting cheaper every day too!
Sal, 90% of stocks suffer during a time like 2008, and the other half are Dollar General Store type stocks. ONCS could fall back to the 40s in that scenario, IF, it were not for the fact that they have news that will come well before any market collapse. I worry as I have ONCS and 4 other spec stocks hatching or waiting to hatch. And thus it is a game of musical chairs I want to be in a chair (70% cash ) when the music stops.
I maintain a core position that is about 30% of my max holdings. I held 100% ONCS after it fell into the 40s and have carved back to 50% now. I plan to re-up after another stock I own finishes it's run up which should be by mid week.
I believe there are windows that occur several time a year for various stocks that allow for safe entry and exit with 20% to 50% gains and more in a short time. (See INUV last week and this coming weeks for an example). I pile in and cash out before music stops. ONCS and INO, I hate not holding a core though.
But if this runs big I will sell on an unreasonably big move (my dirt bike slope theory) and maybe buy a pullback.
I love this stock, it is amazing when big money can't get their hands on a stock like this until it goes over a dollar. When they can, price is not a consideration so it will launch.
This looks to be a defining moment for them. If you take into account that the 4q13 loss was a paper loss created by taking a reserve hit they did not need, they would have 4 consecutive profitable quarters and a $2 to $3 PPS already.
Leaves us that much more room to make the money now...
One of those game changing stocks that come along is a sector every 5 to 10 years. Buy it, tuck it away and look for a 5 baggers or better in next few years. Faster, cheaper and more robust functions. Disruptive technology.
I wouldn't worry about freezing out the shorts, simply too many shares out there in the float to make it a viable strategy. Plus at this point, I think we should invite as many of the cattle into the chute as possible, that way our next run up will be performance enhanced!
News, what news?
Time has come today! Great song, great stock. ONCS!
If you read the first two line of Pierces statement in today's PR, it tells us everything we need to know about what is happening.
No better time to be in ONCS.
I would not be surprised to see a 10% drop tomorrow IF there is nothing new in the way of a PR. Traders who bought last week in the .50s may decide to cash out, and the fact that we move uup 50% from the Tuesday drop may cause such a move absent of the S-3. To me, any drop below .65 represents another buying opportunity before news.
If you have 2 years worth of cash in the vault, and you are creating a shelf for up to $75 million more, you are literally banking on success in preparation for many good things to come. Unless they are about it ink some kind of big deal, like an acquisition or partnership, there will be no rush to execute this until great news and a significant increase in PPS occurs. It will take a proportional hit when that dilution occurs, but that will be temporary and likely represent another step toward much higher levels.
Call me Mack GG,
Agree on share price and outstanding shares, but that will come with maturity, the current S-3 is evidence of why they are not quite there yet.
Gotta run Easter egg hunt and 9 antsy grandkids all waiting to run.
Enjoy the weekend .
GG would check the list here and pick some out.

Thanks tons, I really need to get out (of my stock boards) more!
Is there a board dedicated to technical analysis of stocks?
Share count is what it is, probably because of al the equity raises they had to do in their early developmental years. It is not a problem if the can continue to move up in PPS based on performance. A move to a bigger exchange will help that down the line.
Bullish call from American Bulls site.

I would advise posting to one of the advice boards here, I'm sure there is one for TA, also another way to spread the word.
True that!
The point you are making is that the company would not be doing this in anticipation of failure, rather in expectation of success. Their current liquidity might have carried them if they were to remain in a status quo mode, obviously this is anything but status quo, this is all ahead full.
Like i said earlier this week, the roller coaster ride is going to continue, but at much higher levels, and I am looking forward to that. More fun to come.
Also, excellent strategy for filing to come out today, I am banking on great news next week that will blow this off the radar in short order.
