Well aircraft to toaster ovens would be less of a leap than drugs to aircraft. You could even utilize some of the same raw materials. But you could not just market another toaster oven with so many already on the market. You would need to have a unique twist to it like say incorporate a dvd player/TV into it so the user could watch a movie while waiting for their...
Hey wait you cant use that its mine, all mine. Darn thats not bad. And I could then market a line of short flicks timed so that they are just long enough to see start to finish before the food is ready. Anyone want to invest in THAT? I think I can lock up the market for toaster videos. If you dont believe me, just go out and try to buy one now! Ive even got the symbol: TOVIDS
Yeah I got the joke. I laughed so hard there were tears in my eyes. What made it great was the way you presented it and the fact that the photo was just barely visible below the text so that you had to read the text and then scroll down to the pic.
That was funnier than most of the stuff on The Tonight Show, (still called that?. I got bored with Leno years ago and hardly ever catch him anymore.
Please tell us the name and symbol of that other airline company you described. Ive got to check it out. It may be a long shot but they might just corner the market with that Quebec to Tunisia route! Heck, maybe they can even buy Van Dyke's plane and we can make out on both stocks.
I agree with your #1 and #2 worst DD mistakes. That said there
obviously are some success stories of pinky stocks hitting it big or there wouldnt be so many people here discussing them.
Which leads me to the burning question: Why are you here? I actually heard about this company from a guy that always has some kind of investment advice for me. I don't think he even knows about this board or posts here and I dont know how he heard of it. He has some interest in aviation as I do.
Now, concerning this company and your comments: Is it possible that the guy has the parts but needs cash to get the thing certified so that he can sell it? I mean we already know that from the co. releases. But even more substantial would be the tool-up costs required to build the things.
Imagine how much it must cost to have the materials, facilities, equipment and staff to do this. So either there is a lot more to this story and they have that part figured out, or they need a shxx-load of cash.
It could be this guy does have all this ready to go on that island of Nevis. Is there any way to check that without actually going there? Im not 100% sure that its a dead issue yet. Ill wait for more info.
I would like to thank all the posters here who have done some remarkable work in shedding some light on this co.
If I knew how to do what has been done, I would do it myself. I have made what I think are some good observations about what Ive been able to gather from the body of info that we do have.
If I do invest, the max I could see would be $500 or so until they actually get orders. Yeah I know its pretty far fetched but makes more sense than that Quebec airline deal and others like it. Besides, even if I lose that little bit of cash, the entertainment value of this board alone is well worth the money. Ive spent lots on tickets to events that were never such a gas as this place is.
Yup, but don't call me Jr please
Damn, I can't sleep. I keep laughing about all the funny shxx in here. Please, I have to know, what the heck is that POS on the ground in the photo and where did you find it? I doubt its really even meant to look like a plane but rather two pieces of something else. Or God help us, please tell me its NOT an employee of Integrity doing a flight test? NO, NO, He is not the freakin Pilot! SELL, SELL, SELL the GD Stock NOW!
He may be FOS and investors SOL
But as you know if you have read posts earlier today,
we have verified and documented his connection with Premier
Aviation for at least 4 years. Still, we don't know what exactly Premier did or if it still exists, where it is and what it does.
Holy Crap! He is the Devil!
Suffering? How so?
Take a look at the Cessna Grand Caravan. It will be a source of competition for Van Dyke's plane even though it is just a 14 seater. Not only that, I bet its where his price of $1.9M comes from. The listed price is 1.91M. Note: It is a very successful SINGLE-engine aircraft. For Sonystyle, here is the link: http://caravan.cessna.com/financing.chtml
and main link: http://grandcaravan.cessna.com/
There was a Wikipedia entry under Integrity Aircraft Holdings listing Mr. Van Dyke as the CEO. If you clicked on his link, which I did, it showed 1935 as his birth-year. That would make him 72 or almost 72. I was going to put the link here because I know you demand that but the page has been deleted. I do have a copy I printed. Others here had mentioned the listing. That is how I found it.
Your homework deserves an A+. Even the bashers must admit that you have proven Van Dyke had an association with Premier Aviation as per his creds. Also, we now see that the claims of the bank and county bd. creds have not been DIS-proven.
By looking at the time line we can even begin to piece together the guy's resume. If he was on the Kane co. bd. it would have been prior to 1972. Then note the date at the lower right on the bank doc of June, 1987.
If he served there the 7 years he claims, we know that he did it prior to mid '87. The Premier Aviation thing shows his work from 2002 into 2006 if not 2007. The revocation in Sept 2007 seems to be for failing to file. We don't know what happened to Premier.
So, I'd call that a good start. It would be nice to fill in the blanks. Also if anyone cares, is it possible to check out the educational creds? Four institutions of higher education are referenced. What degrees does he have? If they are legit then I'd say that would be alot of education to be a con-artist.
Great find! So, Van Dyke is a co-inventor of of some electronic gizmo that I have no understanding of. At least that shows he has a brain if it is indeed the same guy. I see the two inventors are both from New Jersey. Can we see if this Van Dyke might have more of a background in NJ and get details?
His creds say he was the HINC of some outfit called MBW Inc.
They have a website which is www.mbw.com. If he was the Ceo there perhaps they can verify this. The website says they are
involved with compaction and concrete construction eqpt.
This expierince will be of great use if any of his employees or investors neeed help compacting their SxxT! I don't know if MBW has or ever had anything to do with aviation or not.
Anyone want to inquire?
All this chat is increasing the stocks volume. With 1 hour left to trade nearly 8% of the float has changed hands today but no price movement of significance. That means we are split 50/50 on the direction of: Da Plane!, Da Plane!
Hey manybe Nevis IS Fantasy Island. What ya think????
You mean to tell us you wern't sitting there thinking "Gee I wonder what the Glide Rate of this thing is"? Hell, maybe good enough to cross the ocean!
Few pennies? GO price those two engines and let me know what they cost, not to mention the fuel for two additional engines!
Who cares about safety when there's money to be made?
So who has the hot scoop today?
Im on my way to the hobby shop to check out the competition
in the RC airplane market. I actually prefer boats but I might try a fly toy for a change.
oR At lEaSt nOt bE hArD On ThE eYeS?
Who nominated him? Mr. H?
OK, after further review here's the scoop:
TSXT as the hangover relief guys peaked at 84 cents or so in June of 2007 just 3 to 4 weeks after the reverse split of 1 for 1000. I called the T/A and confirmed this but I think the number more likely was 1 for 100. So, if you bought just prior to the R/S you could have got the stock for a dime a share. If you sold at the peak which lasted one day you would have 8 times your investment.
The price chart can be found here:
http://www.pinksheets.com/pink/quote/quote.jsp?symbol=TSXT
If you waited until August you got less than 30 cents/share
By September the stock had hit a low of 5 cents. Last week a new post R/S low of 2.5 was hit.
Buying now will save you nada. You do not lose value or gain value by the R/S, you only reduce the number of shares you have.
The value stays the same. For example: if you have 10,000 shares now and they are selling at .05 they are worth $500. After a R/S of 1 for 20 you would have 500 shares @ $1 each worth $500, The same as now. The price after the R/S did not change much until 3 or 4 weeks later when the pumping campaign
hit full steam.
Ready for a quick ride? Remember to pull the cord to your chute
before its too late or you will make a sound like "SPLAT"!
Sony, Sony, Sony: Please tell me you are joking in touting the
closing price of TSXT today. If you havn't noticed, the last
trade at .055 was for 250 stinking shares. At that price the
amount of the investment is $13.75. You know damn well that
the stock sold today, and I'm sure will still sell tomarrow
for 4 cents or less!
I wonder if maybe you work for that guy behind the curtain.
You know the one, what was his name? Oh yeah, something like
Hater? Close enough. Ever hear of a poster that goes by the
handle of Axle Foley 2007? Just curious.
Thanks Meat, Me thinks you get may have solved the Mystery AND get the prize for best Post of da Day! That DOES indeed look like Van Dyke's plane. Now what do we think? Does he got somton or not? Looke like the modal eh?
See my post #25907. By the way, this one of your looks a bit off. I know why, I can't figure out how to use the damn text
features either. Can anyone help?
Great job anti, refreshing to see a positive contribution. Now, I will help a bit. The 1900 is no longer in production.
It was never meant to be a pudddle jumper.
As far a the main issue of the entire story, which is this type of small plane (the 19 seater) being unprofitable to operate, lets look at some relevent facts:
1) The main factors in Mr. Van Dyke's pitch for his plane as
I see it are these:
a) His aircraft is much lower in cost to operate.
b) There are no competitive products in terms of
operating costs and purchase price as a whole.
Also, nobody else is likely to come up with one.
c) His aircraft is intended for markets with
very short flights, ie puddle jumpers. This would
be great in the Caribbean where Nevis is (his base
of operations?), and any place else where there is
a need for a short trip airplane. There IS a very
large market for a product such as this. If his
claims are true this stock could be worth alot
someday.
d) The puddle jumper factor probably would indicate
that the main target to sell these planes would be
to island nations. Look at the Far East and the
South Pacfic. There are tens of thousands of
islands with a need for short trip economical
aircraft!
e) Now, the above, (d) being the case, the high regs
in the U.S. will not be of concern in these other
markets, therefore, the operator might even be able
to make a good profit.
So, there is a potential to make money with an aircraft like
Van Dyke is trying to build. Also, I would like to apologize to any of you I might have offended with my previous posts. Its just that I really like to see THIS type
of serious dicussion since most of us are here to consider
investing our hard earned money in something that has a chance of a HUGE payoff.
If we didn't like the high risk we would have all our money in T-bills, Mutual funds or God help us even the bank making 1.2% or so. Some of these Pinky's do hit it big. This one
might be the one.
If we work together like I and Anti are trying to do here,
I think we will get the answers we need to make an intelligent
investment decision and not just throw the dice. That should be the case and can be if we all try to have a meaning dialog.
Please don't get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with having
a good time and getting in some fine jokes here. If you have been reading my posts you know that I have a sense of humor too. So those of you who are working on answers, please continue, but endless crap and one-line Public Posts are a waste.
Your comments on my blather are appreciated and encouraged. Sincerly, Son of Jr. (no not Sam)
Much, Thankyou
No, but I slept at a Holiday Inn Express last night!
Proof: I made at least a few typos in post #25904.
No middle, everyone gets a window seat. Not sure about the topless stewardesses though. I do favor the mile high club flights but only if they provide one stewardess per passenger, assuming that all paid passengers ARE men. I hate sloppy 2nd's much less 3rd's or fourth's.
I suggest the one with the most frequent flyer miles gets to go first. What ya think? Good idea?
Good observation but: The cockpit sees out the front window only. All the larger windows would offer views for 2 rows of seats which would be all except the one small window in the center of the 5. So, lets do the math: 4x2=8, 8+1=9, 9X2 (2 sides of the plane for the slow ones here) = 18. Now add 2 for the cockpit and that makes 20.
Please don't be afraid to PM me if your 2nd grader needs help with their math. OK Liable?
You get the prize Meat. That Caravan, if you look at the price on the website besides being direct competion for the plane Integrity want to make, shows a price of $1.91 m. for the base passenger model.
Mr. Van Dyke says they expect to sell his plane for $1.9m.
Ya think maybe that's where he got the number from?
I must admit the Cessna does seat a max of 12 vs. 20 for the Integrity.
Other notable differences include the mounting of the engine.
Both have STOL capabilities and can land on grass, yada, yada, yada. But, my point is that's where they copied the price from. The question is, what stores sell the model he is holding.
Of course topless stewardesses and special "Mile-High Club" promotions could help lure potential buyers if it's really ever built.
BUELLER? BUELLER?,BUELLER?
And the shadow on the wall behind the plane
Chatroom BOZO'S:
It took me all of 10 minutes to find out where the $1.9m seling price comes from. NOW, If anyone of you jiber-jabering fools here are worth a damn, tell me where I got the figure?
HINTS: 1) you can find it on the internet
2) it has nothing to do with the RC model-guy's plane
I called the T/A re the R/S's, Why doubt the employee number or date? Do your think the Plane guy hired all the Hotel folks? Get real! If you want info get off your butt and do some real work. Ive done mine.
Did ANYONE read the part about this new company being a MANUFACTURER of aircraft located in Nevis? Check it out! How can they be a mfg. if they never made a plane before? For that matter have they made anything other than the model that they probably bought in some hobby shop? I doubt anything is in Nevis.
PEOPLE! Please care to do something other than mindless drivel if you are interested in investing.
FACTS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
There will soon be a reverse stock split. Look at the history of this shell. Pinksheets.com lists the history under the header "Current Capital Change". It shows that on May 17, 2007 a reverse split of 1 for 1000 was issued.
Also the previous incarnation of the shell, IBAC did the same thing on March 10, 2006 decreasing the outsanding shares with a 1 for 80 split. Why do this? Because the number of shares they are authorized to sell stays the same. They can increase the share price by doing nothing other than the R/S.
Then, after getting the share price up by the R/S, they will start pumping up the stock. It will get highr then because of the list of suckers that they will buy to market the company to.
Finally, GUESS WHAT? They will issue new shares to raise money for the company. If they get enough money the plane gets built and who knows maybe even the stock holders make money. Of course thats if the plane doesn't crash, or there are problems, or they never sell any.
The last and most likely scenario is that new shares are sold, millions are raised but not enough to finish the plane. The money will be gone and the company will then become something else, your guess as good as anyone else but the stockholders will get NADA and hope the next incarnation does better!
One error to correct: The 155 employee's were as of February 2nd, long before the airplane guy came into the picture. Not my error just someone who cannot understand what they are reading.
No Proof of Anything, not even that the model flys. Why WOULD it fly unless they really are planning to sell RC models? Is it possible that THAT, (the model) is really the product???
I'll bet it is a RC model with the real plane being what it is based on. It wouldn't take that much money to make RC models. Im sure they could do it in someones garage, and with a alot less than 155 employees. Where by the way does it say that about the 155? I have not seen it.
Easy, they will sell stock, i dont thinks they can get much for the model
Easy, they will sell stock, i dont thinks they can get much for the model
NASA didn't build it, they purchased it for "Earth science missions" from a private manufacturer. See below article. Nice try though.
A Predator B unmanned aircraft system has joined the inventory of research aircraft at NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center, Edwards, Calif. Built by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. of San Diego, NASA took possession of the aircraft during the fall of 2006. The aircraft has been given the Choctaw Nation name "Ikhana" (pronounced ee-kah-nah), which means intelligent.
Designed for long-endurance, high-altitude flight, Ikhana will be flown primarily on Earth science missions under the Earth Science Capability Demonstrations project at NASA Dryden. It will also be used for advanced aircraft systems research and technology development.
As part of the Ikhana/Predator B acquisition, NASA also purchased a ground control station and satellite communication system for control of the aircraft and transmittal of research data. The ground control station is in a mobile trailer and, in addition to the pilot's "cockpit," includes computer workstations for scientists and engineers. All of the aircraft systems are mobile, making Ikhana ideal for remote studies.
Yes to Boeing, but they like large jets and not puddle jumpers like this one. NASA is interested in space exploration and I don't think this thing will get into orbit with even the largest of prop engines
Early next year according to press release but I wouldn't bet on it. Maybe the end of the year, but who knows? The assembled engine and most components could be procured fairly quickly if they can get the money to do so I would think. Ive built model planes in just a few months. But they didnt require a pilot INSIDE the plane.
Anyone here know the aircraft industry?
Are there other planes like this one on the market? If the notion that this design in so much lower in operating costs than the competition then will it sell in enough numbers to make a profit? How much lower in costs is it supposed to be? How much lower would it have to be to be successful?
Bueller?, Bueller? (Anybody?)
Hoe can you be sure they will not built thousands of them? Are you an aviation expert or know anything of the industry?
