Great job anti, refreshing to see a positive contribution. Now, I will help a bit. The 1900 is no longer in production.
It was never meant to be a pudddle jumper.

As far a the main issue of the entire story, which is this type of small plane (the 19 seater) being unprofitable to operate, lets look at some relevent facts:

1) The main factors in Mr. Van Dyke's pitch for his plane as
I see it are these:

a) His aircraft is much lower in cost to operate.

b) There are no competitive products in terms of
operating costs and purchase price as a whole.
Also, nobody else is likely to come up with one.

c) His aircraft is intended for markets with
very short flights, ie puddle jumpers. This would
be great in the Caribbean where Nevis is (his base
of operations?), and any place else where there is
a need for a short trip airplane. There IS a very
large market for a product such as this. If his
claims are true this stock could be worth alot
someday.

d) The puddle jumper factor probably would indicate
that the main target to sell these planes would be
to island nations. Look at the Far East and the
South Pacfic. There are tens of thousands of
islands with a need for short trip economical
aircraft!

e) Now, the above, (d) being the case, the high regs
in the U.S. will not be of concern in these other
markets, therefore, the operator might even be able
to make a good profit.

So, there is a potential to make money with an aircraft like
Van Dyke is trying to build. Also, I would like to apologize to any of you I might have offended with my previous posts. Its just that I really like to see THIS type
of serious dicussion since most of us are here to consider
investing our hard earned money in something that has a chance of a HUGE payoff.

If we didn't like the high risk we would have all our money in T-bills, Mutual funds or God help us even the bank making 1.2% or so. Some of these Pinky's do hit it big. This one
might be the one.

If we work together like I and Anti are trying to do here,
I think we will get the answers we need to make an intelligent
investment decision and not just throw the dice. That should be the case and can be if we all try to have a meaning dialog.

Please don't get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with having
a good time and getting in some fine jokes here. If you have been reading my posts you know that I have a sense of humor too. So those of you who are working on answers, please continue, but endless crap and one-line Public Posts are a waste.

Your comments on my blather are appreciated and encouraged. Sincerly, Son of Jr. (no not Sam)
