I figured that they got more shares because all the available ones were sold.
My guess is that they need money but are not trying to overextend themselves or make the stock worthless.
Since I mentioned 10 bucks everyone has been chastising me for it.
Just to let you know, I think it's highly doubtful as well. I was just repeating what I heard from someone who knows someone else. You know how the game goes.
They said that it is not impossible for this stock to go to 10. Now, I have no idea what they know or how reliable the info is, but that's what they said. I wasn't given a particular time frame either. What I do know is that this person has never let me down yet.
Hey, we can dream can't we?
But, take this into consideration...
What if their product is being marketed to major companies right now? Since it is a unique product, they would be the sole provider and all the major companies would be knocking on their door for a piece of the pie.
Where are your imaginations? They would own the market. Once the word gets out, it's all over.
10 bucks, probable? No. Possible? Yes.
But hey, you are your own investor. Sell out at a penny for all I care. I'll be waiting for at least $1 before I sell one share. It will happen, not if, but when is the question.
If they are honest about no R/S, that means something is going on that will push the value of this stock up before we know it.
Does anyone know how many O/S a company like Intel or Lucent has?
Hey guys,
They are also looking to aquire another company. There is nothing but growth here. This stock will reach a dime when it's ready but that will just be the beginning. Keep it for the long run.
Major companies don't make gains like Cetek has been for the past 3 quarters. If they can keep this up for another year or two before they level off, we're talking major bucks.
great news today
Cetek Technologies, Inc. (Pink Sheets:CTKH), a manufacturer of ceramic components and ceramic substrate material for the electronics industry, files the following update for second quarter 2004.
Management takes this opportunity to briefly report on the status of operations, as is customary, having completed the second quarter, and first half, of 2004.
Sales revenues continue to grow, with the recently ended second quarter being the strongest yet in production and shipment of our proprietary ceramic substrate product. Revenues were up 51% from the previous quarter, and Cetek continues to operate with net positive cash flow and profitably.
As reported previously, demand for our products is increasing. Additional production capacity is needed, to meet current and future, production requirements. Management has been working on how best to increase production capacity. One possibility, being that of acquiring an additional facility or company. Fortunately, Cetek's resources, from previous successful funding activities, will be available to use towards this production capacity issue. Capitalization of the corporation was enhanced in the past year through the issuance of private placement common shares, which in itself, demonstrates strong support for the management of the company and its technology from the investors' community. This effort is facilitating the company's continued expansion of its product line and in general, the growth of the bus.
As we have previously stated, we do not anticipate any circumstances that would cause us to undertake a reverse stock split of our common stock.
The company's official website was launched in the past quarter, www.cetektechnologies.com and it will be updated on an ongoing basis.
The company is expected to have its annual shareholder meeting later this summer. A specific date and location have not yet been established, but will be reported shortly.
From the Company's inception, Cetek has focused on building a company with solid fundamentals, and with solid foundations in the state-of-the-art ceramic technology. Years of formulating, testing and proto-typing have taken us to where we are now -- producing and distributing Cetek's proprietary ceramic materials for an ever-growing client base.
Cetek Technologies was represented at the SEMICON West 2004 (http://wps2a.semi.org/wps/portal) technology trade show in San Francisco, California, which had very strong interest by attendees in the company's materials and capabilities. As a result, several new domestic and international sales prospects are being pursued.
We continue to view the CNT (carbon nanotube) area as a dynamic business segment for the future, one that may hold much promise, including electron emitters for FPD's (flat panel displays). In addition, "nano emissive display" (NED) technology, which enables a manufacturer to design large flat panel displays that exceed the image quality characteristics of plasma and LCD screens at a much lower cost, is extremely exciting in our niche of the industry, and could potentially be one of Cetek's applications in the future.
In closing, we thank all shareholders for their continued support in the company, and we will endeavor to keep shareholders informed of our efforts in developing Cetek into a significant player in its industry, as it strives to build shareholder value for our stockholders.
Respectfully submitted, Fayiz Hilal CEO and President About Cetek Technologies, Inc.
Cetek Technologies' principal activity is to manufacture and market products based on applications of thin film and display technologies. Cetek produces very high grade quality industrial ceramics including alumina, cordierite, mullite, and zirconia for thermal shock, wear, electrical isolation and corrosial resistance applications. Substrates are commercially produced in 12 inch panels, as well as larger sizes. Products are sold to the electronics, welding, chemical, pulp & paper, nuclear power, aerospace and semiconductor industries. In addition, CNT technologies are currently being researched and co-developed for various applications, including fuel cells.
I'm expecting a considerable price drop once the shares get issued and then I'm going to buy up as much as I can. What do you think, is this good news or bad news?
I caught the tail end of a radio news broadcast, but I could have sworn that they said nanotechnology is helping them to produce translators for the military.
They developed a device just like on Star Trek that allows you to talk in your language and the other person hears you in his language.
How incredible is that? The device is actually in use already, but I'm not sure if I heard right that it's nanotech that helped them produce it.
Could you imagine if Cetek gets awarded a government contract? The cash flow would be enormous.
Let's hope Cetek has it's fingers in the pie already.
So this isn't considered a split is it?
I saw it trading at 300M/day at the beginning of the year and it only got as high as .0045.
This could just be part of the buyback. Whatever it is, it is good news. If that many shares are being traded, then there's interest and publicity which will be in the company's favor. Once word gets out that this stock is a good buy, we will see a lot more positive things.
Even though it's trading at a high volume, I still don't think it's a popular stock.
Word will get out once the company wants it to.
I just got a letter in the mail saying that Wellstone is going to issue more shares to make the total 300,000,000 (if I remember correctly). Up from 80,000,000 which are all bought up.
Good news to me.
I think this stock has a future, but it's a long way off. I think it will be dead for a while.
If you want to get really crazy, I think this company will be the ones who are developing the mark of the beast mentioned in Revelation. So, IMO, this company will prosper eventually. It is evil, but what can we do about it?
Thanks guys,
He sounds like a real people person!
if he can turn this stock around, he will be my best friend.
PW,
Who is Fayiz?
Hey buddy,
Well, if you're right and I'm wrong, then we will all be in a good position for a long time until someone else can catch up. I hope you're right. I wouldn't mind being wrong in this case.
In any event, it's probably a good idea to get even more shares while they're this low. Even if it only goes back up to .004, you've doubled your money.
I hope that we hear some news soon. I'm getting anxious waiting to see what will happen with this company.
it might be the only one in the world that can do that now, but it won't take long for other companies to have the same technology.
Let's hope Cetek is trying to get a foothold on the industry through marketing and not just making a superior product. Once they can get major companies to sign contracts, or depend upon their product, then we're talking.
I hope you're right. It is taking forever. This stock is the most active but doesn't go anywhere but down. It's ridiculous. If it ever hit's 10, I'm out for good.
I think the news for Lucent has been excellent the past few quarters. I don't understand why the stock isn't moving. This stock has really burned me big time. I hope to see over $10 in the near future.
Well, if they can produce 100% gains in the millions consecutive quarters, we are really looking good. How many quarters in a row can they do this? Hopefully a lot more. Can their products make them a $.5B+ company?
I just sent you an email on your private account. Your bike is really cool too.
If Cetek pays off, I'll own a lot of cool bikes that I've been eyeballing. A few cars too...maybe a boat, definately a few houses. Nothing fancy, just something that can keep me busy.
As far as the value of the company and the stock goes...What everyone is thinking might not necessarily be true if Cetek plans on buying back more stock. I have a feeling that's why we haven't heard any news yet. They want to keep the price down so they don't have to spend much to buy back and cancel the shares issued.
Right now, for them to buy back 500M shares like they said they would, they would need to spend about $1+M. If they have a plan to do this over time, it shouldn't be much of a problem. Then we're looking at major investors with loads of cash who could do the same.
Think about it. If Motorola or some other major company decides to buy this stock, they could spend $2M easily and do us all a world of good. That would be more than 1/3 of the existing shares.
At this price, the purchase of millions of O/S is not a big deal if enough people get interested.
What I don't understand and what someone else already asked is... Who in the world is selling this stock?
NEWS, NEWS, NEWS!! Patiently waiting.
Hey brother,
You bet. What kind of bike do you have? I own a Moto Guzzi V11. It's a great bike.
I always wanted to take a trip to the Netherlands so maybe we can work a trip out. What do you do there?
I will only sell off some at .50, but I'm looking for the big payload.
I need more shares if I'm going to get out of the military though. I might just stay in anyway so I can tell all my bosses what I really think and not care about any reprocussions.
Sadly enough, $1M isn't enough to retire on anymore. You still need an income even with that in the bank.
Oh yeah,
One other thing.
You mentioned that there were 2 profitable quarters in a row that was 100% more than the last.
I knew that already, but something about your post made me consider it more closely.
That is a huge positive.
Now, we don't know what the actual #'s are. $10 is 100% more than $5. Not a big deal.
However, this news is telling us that there are things going on that we don't know about.
1. Who are their customers?
2. Are they big time companies? (one mention of a Motorola deal, then nothing more)
3. Will this spark other large companies to do business with Cetek? (Intel, Verizon, etc.?)
4. Is Cetek purpously witholding this information so they can buy back the shares cheap?
5. How unique is their product and will they have a foothold in the industry?
6. What other companies are Cetek's competition and how well are they doing?
7. Why did they put a gag order on ROUNDMOT? Is it due to question #4?
8. How long before they trade on the NASDAQ?
9. What is their actual profit #'s?
Does everyone realize that if and when it starts trading on the NASDAQ, it will skyrocket? Can you imagine what will happen when it does?
People are thinking of selling at a nickel. I'm saying $1 is a minimum price we should be looking at.
I would not be surprised if this stock is at $.50 by December. Once the real news is released, look out!!
We should all plan a vacation together somewhere.
I live in Italy so I'd be happy to show you guys around here. I'll be here until Sep 2005. (Military)
Any of you ride motorcycles? We can tour Europe on our bikes! Hello early retirement.
PW,
Thanks. I think I understand what you're saying.
I figured that much.
Profits=interest=people buying=increase in PPS.
But it can also be
Potential=intrest=people buying.
I am looking at WLSF which hasn't made a dime in 6 years. It is only a research company with patents. Their stock is $1.
It's all about sparking an interest for buyers.
Where are you guys coming up with this profit/share price information?
I'm not attacking anyone's posts, I'm sincerely asking the question.
I thought the companys profit doesn't directly affect the share price. I thought share price is only affected by the old supply/demand ratio. Less shares, more demand=high stock price.
A company could be completely worthless, but if people are buying shares, then it's going to rise in price.
Company profits only prompt people to buy shares. It gives the illusion of a direct relaionship, but in reality there isn't any.
So Cetek doesn't need to be profitable in order for the stock to rise.
What does happen is when the stock price rises, then the value of the company rises. Then a company has more money to use for itself.
This is why (as I understand) the .com bubble burst. When people realized that the companies were worthless, they sold out of everything and prices plummeted.
This is what I was taught. Please confirm or correct this information.
Oh, "buy" the way...
I'm almost at my first Mil shares for this stock. If my order goes through today at .0018, I'll join the Cetek 1 Million club.
I'm going to sell something else to get more shares. I'm into ADSX that is supposed to be promising, but it hasn't moved in a couple of years. That company on paper looks good, but right now, it's dead. I think I can get rid of it, take the loss and buy some CTKH with some solid rewards from it. Soon you can call me Cetek1.5Million.
I agree that we're pretty much in the dark. No news is good news. Once they have secured a contract and begin selling, I'm sure we'll hear all about it and this product will be big. I saw the article, but all this will do is prompt other companies to invent other products. So I think it's bad for Wellstone ultimately. Right now, they have a huge head start on the competition and I don't know if there is even any competition out there.
I hope they start selling soon. I'm very anxious to see what is going to happen.
Sal
I got this off the company's website
Total authorized shares is......9 Billion
Total shares Issued and Outstanding.....................................3.875 Billion
I have a question.
What is the difference between authorized shares and O/S, issued shares?
Just by the nomenclature, I would say that the company is allowed to create/sell up to 9B shares but has only optioned to put 3.8B on the market.
Am I on track with that assumption?
If so, 3.8 is much better than 9.
How about "Don't eat yellow snow".
Not investing advice, but good advice just the same.
You never know, people are skittish, need the money, lose faith.
Who the heck knows. Better for us in the long run I think. Those same people will buy when it starts rising.
I forget who, but a very famous, successful investor was asked how to be a successful investor.
He replied "Buy when everyone else is selling and sell when everyone else is buying".
Simple but effective advice.
Good luck to you.
Thanks for the info. I'm not discouraged by the price at all. In fact I'm rather impressed that it's managed to stay at $1 and it's not even on a major exchange. Usually, a company that's new decides to make money by selling more shares, they reduce the price of the share greatly. The pink sheets are full of companies with billions of shares. Wellstone hasn't done that yet and I think they are well managed. Hopefully their product will be as big as you say and a part of every cigarette company and not just one.
Worldwide market, billions of smokers, one product. I think this stock is a huge sleeper.
Good fortune to you.
Il Padrino.
I agree whole heartedly. I just bought more today. I'm going to try to get as much as possible at this price.
Yea, you're right about that. Live and learn.
Well, I sure was able to buy some at $4. That killed me. I got most of my shares at 1.5, but I could have bought 4x as much now. When I saw it going up, I thought, the news got out and this stock will go to $10 for sure. Then the plummet.
Anyway, that's the way these things go. Let's hope that the tobacco companies go for this and they start making a profit soon.
Right now, I'm going to concentrate my funds on CTKH. It's a penny stock that has some real huge potential. Wellstone is too high of a price (even at $1) for me to make jackpot like gains. I figure if all goes well, I'll get about $20K out of WLSF and I'm looking for about $1M from the CTKH.
That one day that it went up to 5 and change, I was truly excited, but it didn't last. If I would have known, I would have sold out and bought again at $1.
However, I like the looks of the future with this one. Hopefully, we'll be hearing good news soon. One good thing is that the ammount of outstanding shares is very small. That will help with making the price go up fairly quickly.
If this stock takes off, there's no telling what the ceiling will be. $10, $20, $50???
I don't see the half billion shares that cetek is buying back making a huge dent in the grand scheme of things, although it helps.
Here's what I am seeing:
1. If Cetek is in fact buying back shares, then that is always a great sign for a stock. If the company has faith in it's future, then I am confident that there is more going on than we know about. But not only are they buying them back, they are cancelling them. I expect more moves like that in the future.
2. Like someone else already posted, cetek used to trade off the pink sheets and is looking to regain status again. It was up at $1.75 at one point. I'm curious if anyone knows how many O/S they had at that point. That should give us a good indication of what to expect out of this stock.
3. How long we will have to wait for real growth is uncertain. However, I've heard that some people close to the company expect significant growth within 2 years. Like I said before, I heard $10 in 2 years, but I don't see how that could possibly happen. I think that's a stretch to say the least, but that's what I heard.
4. The problem we have now is that we haven't had any real news reports from the company since April 30. That news release was very positive. So we're pretty much in the dark, but I think that's better than bad news.
Patience will be the name of the game in this one. I'm in it for the long haul. I really believe that this stock will trade over $1 in the not too distant future. I'll sell a little off if it reaches .40, but I'll keep most of it for the jackpot.
On another note,
I've just found out that you can buy Iraqi Dinar over the internet. I ordered 1 million dinar and it cost me under $1,500. If their money goes back to about 30 cents like the Saudi Rial, then I'd be very happy. I don't see much risk in this one, only profit. Before the gulf war, one Dinar was $3!!
All it's going to take for it to go up is their government to become solid and their money to go on the WCE. And if Iraq becomes a part of the UN, look out, it's a solid buy. If Bush gets re-elected, it's a sure thing.
You should look into it and research it some. Just type in Buy Dinar into a search engine and see what you come up with.
I ordered it with a credit card because I think it's safer. There are sites that will only allow payment by wire transfer or money order. I don't really trust that.
Happy hunting.
Happy 4th of July everyone. Here's to good fortune for all.
PW,
I'm with you and I think that the R/S will have to happen unless Cetek thinks they can sell a few billion shares. There's no other way they could maintain the $1 share price to trade on the NASDAQ.
(Am I correct to say that you need to be at $1 to be listed on the NASDAQ?)
So, if they said no R/S and still plan on trading on the NASDAQ, somewhere, somehow, they feel the shares could reach $1 at least.
On the other hand, if not so rich people can own 1M+ shares, it would be easy for corporations (Motorola perhaps) to purchase enough shares to make this stock rise considerably.
Maybe there's something in the works for them to cancel more than .5B shares. Right now, the math doesn't add up and like you said, .25 looks like a good target.
But, I'm an optimist and I'm setting high hopes on this one.
Best regards,
Il Padrino
I do admit that the ammount of shares outstanding is discouraging.
I have a question though...
Would a reverse split seem likely and if so, is that good or bad for a stock? It would almost seem necessary that they reduce their shares by at least half.
I still have a gut feeling that this stock will take off in time (maybe 2 years).
Has anyone looked into WLSF? It is very interesting. The board on it isn't getting much attention.
They got their patent approved in Japan now. If they got all these patents in all these countries, they're bound to start selling their product soon. It's just a matter of time.
By the way,
Love the Fred Sanford thing. Good job.
Hi Art2Gecko,
That's interesting information. I saw it was given by James Stock who is directly involved with the company. I saw on the Pinksheets.com website that there's only 750,000,000 shares outstanding. I'm assuming that info is wrong and yours is correct?? Your post is a little more believeable. Would you have any clue as to why pinksheets would have different info...old news perhaps and never updated?
Thanks for the post.
Padrino
Ha Ha,
No, actually, Padrino is Italian for "Godfather". I actually live in Italy because I'm in the military. I'm leaving here in November though. I've been here 6 years and I absolutely love it. I will be sad to leave. I'm from NY and still have all my family there.
I liked Blow too. Depp has really gotten to be one of the premier actors in Hollywood.
beefmon,
I have heard that the deal with Motorola is real. Here's the thing though, I've heard this through someone who knows someone who knows someone else. You know how the telephone game works.
This all could be total nonsense. However, I'm really optimistic about the press release when they said they plan on trading on the NASDAQ in the future. That is the key. Even if a company isn't profitable, the stock could skyrocket on rumors and speculation alone.
