I'm not attacking anyone's posts, I'm sincerely asking the question.
I thought the companys profit doesn't directly affect the share price. I thought share price is only affected by the old supply/demand ratio. Less shares, more demand=high stock price.
A company could be completely worthless, but if people are buying shares, then it's going to rise in price.
Company profits only prompt people to buy shares. It gives the illusion of a direct relaionship, but in reality there isn't any.
So Cetek doesn't need to be profitable in order for the stock to rise.
What does happen is when the stock price rises, then the value of the company rises. Then a company has more money to use for itself.
This is why (as I understand) the .com bubble burst. When people realized that the companies were worthless, they sold out of everything and prices plummeted.
This is what I was taught. Please confirm or correct this information.
Oh, "buy" the way...
I'm almost at my first Mil shares for this stock. If my order goes through today at .0018, I'll join the Cetek 1 Million club.
I'm going to sell something else to get more shares. I'm into ADSX that is supposed to be promising, but it hasn't moved in a couple of years. That company on paper looks good, but right now, it's dead. I think I can get rid of it, take the loss and buy some CTKH with some solid rewards from it. Soon you can call me Cetek1.5Million.
