I started getting fatigued in 2010. Now I am comatose.
The worst part is we wasted 3 years under Jim and had to switch in a whole new direction.
We are supposed to hold all the cards.
White papers from Miller, Michelson,Leonberger. A big fat zilch.
We seem to be paying everyone for using our material. If we have good news, put it out there. To create more visibility for the company, the PPS needs to be a lot higher.
Stop paying a management team that resides in the far west. Our hotel bills must be sky high in Delaware. Get rid of Marcelli. Paying him a salary and options that he gets is an insult to shareholders. Get rid of Cordevano as well. We can get IR firms much cheaper for doing the same amount of work.
It is difficult to run a developmental company. We will need a change very soon if this continues. Change can be good.
I predict news by the ASM. Whoopee.
Some of the posters need to start asking management and IR these questions. It seems only a few have the nerve to step up to the plate. You do not have to post it on the board but you should be able to get some sort of answer.
Being at a dollar almost ten months after the last ASM is an utter disgrace.
Trotts,
We will know by the end of July whether they have anything. That is what I will base my reason for continuing to own LWLG. Cannot hide from shareholders at the ASM.
The PR on Wednesday and the front running before the announcement is a sure sign that there is a leak at the company. They gambled wrong and are stuck with around 40,000 shares that they will hold or sell.
What is troubling now is that even with a leak, the share prices stagnant and the PPS does not lie. It is a supreme measure of the value of a company. We were trading 100% higher 4 years ago and this is a developmental company. That is awful. My frustration is more with the BOD than Tom and Jim. They are supposed to protect us from mismanagement. There needs to be a serious change this summer if things remain the same.
A good friend pointed out that the only ones who will suffer if LWLG does not make it are shareholders and a few members of management. Look at the insider roster of LWLG and it is mind boggling that only two people are represented there.
Back to being a realist. I am hoping to being proven dead wrong because that means my trading account wins.
I have stated recently that I am convinced LWLG will be bought out in the coming year or next. After seeing the PR's recently, I am going to reserve judgment now. The LSS PR was very vanilla and we do not know the specifics. Yesterday we got news on a conference that is suspect to say the least. There are small cap companies with some promise but not much else. Be nice when we can present at a major institution.
EM Photonics news is still in the wait and see mode. I believe we are not being paid for our services by Intel or EM Photonics and that is strange. If this is on our dime, then we should be able to publish results. We hold the cards should be put to use. As a friend stated, maybe we just do not have anything yet.
I do know that the ASM will be the last straw for some here if they do not have a working modulator or some type of contract. This act is real old. They need to come clean with shareholders and tell us where they are. Marcelli and Tom are living off our dime and it is a good gig. What exactly does Marcelli and Cordevano do for the company. I suspect very little if anything. What does Turpin do? Is Miller even involved here or just some window dressing now until they have a product.
The time is now to address the future of Lightwave. Shareholders need to start contacting the BOD and management to express concern. I have.
All this proves is there is a leak at the company. Someone knew news was coming and bought ahead. Just did not know what the news was. Hopefully Jim will not be presenting. He can valet the cars out front.
We still do not know what the data is from the LSS or EM Photonics. Nothing at all from Michelson.Pray that they do not go here empty handed.
We are invisible to the investment world. With the broader market on a roll, why play with the highly speculative issues that garner scant attention. I currently have positions in three stocks that are drifting into the abyss and there is not much you can do about it. Still waiting for news on the LSS, EM Photonics and something from Michelson.
I hope Jim gets a first class seat flying to Baltimore. He is deserving of it.
Is this your idea of a sick joke?
It would be refreshing to see one of the BOD or management buy in the open market. It would also be nice to update the website.
Down 39% from a few days before the CC is akin to jumping off Mount Everest.
April 1 close 1.65. Today we are trading at 1.01. I thought the conference call was a good one but the interest level is nil for bigger investors.
Rube, I base my trust in the product on the fact that Fred Leonberger, Joe Miller and others are still with the company. There is no way Miller would stake his reputation as well as Corning on being associated with this company unless they had good chance to make it. Also, why would Lou Bintz leave a good job to come here.
If I had to guess, I think Glasgow and Olson are gone or on the way out.
I did not believe we would be trading at this level after the CC but nothing surprises me anymore. We are coming up on the ASM in the next few months and that should be a treat. I assume I will be asking the same question again on whether they will ever buy stock in the open market to give us a vote of confidence. The LSS must have us on lockdown at the moment.
Does anyone have an inkling on how many shares LPC owns?
I am hoping there are articles from MIchelson, Prather, and the LSS. I do believe though we are under the boots of the LSS partner and that is a bummer.
One year anniversary coming up of Tom being named CEO. Many changes and positive developments yet we are down close to 21% from last year at this time. Without some concrete news, we could see a repeat of last year and drift under 90 cents until the ASM. Just a simple dose of reality although I would be a buyer under 95 cents. Almost impossible to time the bottom or top of a stock.
We are in desperate need of some coverage.
Received a note back from IR that they will generate revenue from any stockpiling. Not sure what the article from Seeking Alpha meant that they would not benefit financially from Asia stockpiling.
I was just about to post that article. Trying to understand why they would not generate revenue if countries stockpile their product in Asia. I sent IR an e-mail this evening and will post their reply.
Follow the silver/gold ratio and that is a key barometer. Remember that the silvewr market is very thin and can be controlled by the commercials. Paper market is becoming obsolete and the CFTC and mining industry must get on top of this.
Unless they know something others do not, why would you short a stock at this level with a serious pandemic breaking out. I only issue I could think of is a PP for the company but I do not know their cash position and burn rate.

You might be able to afford this one if LWLG gets moving. Cannot tell you where I got my answer but I stand by my prediction.
OT-BCRX
This is where I have established a new position. The stock had a 10 point move on the last influenza outbreak and I believe this one is huge. Having trouble getting it done in the US but it is approved in Asia(Japan and Korea).
Six, it is Intel. Not too much mystery in that revelation. If the stock breaks one, the poster that wants to sell his shares will have them gobbled up in no time. Frustration is coming to the board again and it is what it is. The best day for me will be when Marcelli is gone from here. It is like a plague has descended on the PPS for a long time. Still a huge believer in the future and my biggest concern is what price we are bought out.
New investor here. Where does BCRX stand with the US grant? I saw that in 2012 that they had suspended the study and was not sure why. Are they able to produce sufficient quantity in Asia to meet demand or is that months out.
I have been buying the Sept 1 and Dec 1 calls instead of the common and the risk /reward is better. Thanks
Send some Philly cops up there and this will be over in 20 minutes.
I spend more in a weekend than that. I wonder what Claude does to earn his options.
My conclusions after looking at all the information.
I have spoken with and e-mailed a number of people over the past week. These people know more about the workings of industry and also LWLG than most. Gathering all the facts makes me come to the realization that there is not much we can do but wait for the inevitable buyout coming in the next 12-18 months. LWLG has now become a CD maturing in 18 months with an unknown price tag.
1) The LSS is putting us in the deep freeze thru NDA agreements that precludes Tom from mentioning their name. The reasons are they want the PPS to remain low as to prevent a spike up and they will try to get us cheaply. They will not buy a minority stake (I guessed wrong on this) because we are too small for them. They also do not want their name getting out to other large LSS and a bidding war would erupt at a much higher price.
2) We are not going to build out as management can leave here financially secure for life. Who wants to work and travel when you can cash in and plan your own future.
3)There is going to be a lot more exasperation at the price stagnates but it will move higher and that is a given.
I am getting tired of checking for info every day and making calls and putting out e-mails. I have another fish to fry with two of the poster here and we need that company to get into gear.
LWLG will be bought out 100% IMO. Just a matter of what management and stockholders settle for. As one friend pointed out,he will be investing a portion of his profits in the acquirer. That is a very smart move.
Curious as to what very large shareholders think is a reasonable price for Lightwave. The key for current shareholders is how much patience you will have in the next 12 months. I will be moving on now and post sparingly. X is an egotist but he has it right here and I do value his info. Our key will be to have the top brass in place when ***** wants to set a price. Associate 5 letters with the LSS.
GLTA- The road will be bumpy but we are golden.
Just get rid of the dead wood and this stock will rocket. Black cats are bad for everyone.
I do not drink beer and would still take that bet(lol).
Most of the posters know who it is and so do I but will not reveal it. I am concerned with getting the word out and the PPS to get going. I want to be at higher levels if and when we hit.
Six, you are 75% off.
My short term wish is too see an activist shareholders come aboard and to see management make some insider purchases. I do not want to go into the deep freeze again and be trading at 90 cents come the ASM. A good way to measure a company is the PPS and visibility. We are severely lacking in both. It is what it is. I am afraid the LSS is going to steal a big position in us at a deep discount to what we are truly worth. The IP alone with all the markets they are talking about has to be north of 10.
I can tell you that one of the crew that posts on LWLG on Yahoo and dislikes it told many to sell at 1.68. That was a great call and you could have sold a lot of your holdings. Long term it might seem like a ridiculous number but that was a short term gem. Amazing how this has always been a dump on news stock. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for the company.
Disregard my advice when it is 50 and raining outside. Off to the gun store and then on to the gym and shopping soon.
Ugly day for the portfolio and especially commodities.
Walter would be great but he is always on travel and is on the European Senior Golf Circuit. I feel he would shirk his duties.
Invesor86 would be ideal to replace Cordevano. Bright guy with the energy to deal with shareholders and get the word out. I wonder how many calls Tom is getting from large shareholders on the lousy PPS. This is getting real old.
Gotta run again. This is good exercise.
One more point to add. When you see people come on here and say they are not worried about the PPS and we are on the verge of greatness, do not believe a word of it. Why LWLG is trading down at this level is beyond me and does have me concerned. If you are a shareholder, you are always concerned. Mismanagement will trump any good science. I believe we are going places but the train can always derail in the process.
Gotta run
My thoughts are that the LSS does not want the PPS to rise so that they can buy in or take us out on the cheap.
Everyone is giddy except for the PPS. LWLG has done a terrible job of promoting this company.
You must be in wonderful shape for all the running you do.
We will now have to see if Tom is up to the task of attracting investors to our stock. He seems to have done a good job of cleaning up the past mistakes.
I am of the belief that LWLG will be bought out in the next 24 months. I wish I knew the price tag but am hoping for a 3:1 split in the interim and a Google /Intel war for the company.
You sure seem to be flip flopping Half.
