LFZA news out. . .I'll post it when I can pick it up on the wire.
Peace. . .
M&M Man
FWIWorth. . .volume has been picking up on GTCI. I think it may be due to some of the old board members dumping their shares. The new Sinobull.com should be a good one to watch (whenever the R/M and R/S take place). I'm looking for an even better entry on HRCT.
Peace. . .
M&M Man
Arch. ..exactly! I'm not going to move a dime until mid-March or early April. I'm leaving my cash in my account. There will be better entry points forthcoming. Looks like the "arms" talks with China have stalled. That should also stall the China based stocks. It might be a fertile market to be watching. . .but politics appear to rule the markets as of this day and age!
On Iraq. . .Probably will be a major push to dethrone Suddam Hussain. But something tells me he won't go without causing a fuss. Hopefully that won't mean he'll sacrifice even more of his people.
Peace. . .
M&M Man
Just out of curiousity, what are you people's thoughts on this "New War" and the next potential move against terrorism? I believe this "New War" is what is playing games with our market. My thoughts are that any potential "next strike" the terrorists may make will be lined up with someone that has some sort of power. Iraq. . .possibly. I don't see small scale retaliation (if it ever happens). It's just strange to believe that a couple of loosened CJ's will have enough influence to do much damage. If rumors are true and members of the Al Q have drifted into Iran and Iraq. . .do you suppose these countries would align themselves and their energies with the thoughts of bin Laden's buddies? Or will they be smarter and just hide them away in a cave for a future date to be reckoned with? Hmmm?
Peace. . .
M&M Man
Okay. . .I'll give GTCI the same amount of time I gave HRCT. Three years.
Peace,

JANX has the Okid website back up and running:
http://www.okid.com/usa/frame.frm
http://www.okid.com/
At .009 per share it might be worth watching. I don't know about this OTC BB market but I still think JANX has a good concept. If they can generate some revenues by finding supporters and promoters for their website and products, they could be a good hold until the holiday season. This is a company that should promote their website at gradeschools that are teaching children about the web. It's safe for children, and quite entertaining. Yes, I have been playing on the site LOL!

I just took a look at the charts on IBM after reading an interesting article where more and more of these big blues are going to be scrutinized for their accounting practices. Might be a good time to short IBM. It could go much lower.

Arch. . .I would think it would be easy money from this point, but this thing just keeps going down and down and no news is coming out. The GTCI news was supposed to come out in the middle of January and I've still not heard anything. I can't imagine it wouldn't go back up to at least 30 cents. Therefore, double from here (basically). Also, watch TRPL. They're doing a "FAX Blast" throughout this segment of the woods. But again, like I mentioned, in this market. . .who knows what will work other than reports on positive earnings! Break time. . .be back at the close.
Peace. . .
M&M Man
Arch. . .DVNT is tanking as well @ 55 cents! Incredible! HRCT is also tanking @ 17 cents. Could go to a dime! OR lower! I think there's a lot of liquidation going on out there. I, for one, will hold stocks I bought around a penny. But I don't think I'll buy many otcs for more than a penny. I have a feeling they may all go there before the market turns around! LOL!
Peace. . .

Bev. . .and Wise. . .now as all we need is some attention. We should post the link over on the POW thread. Not sure who is buying right now, but at the present price. . .any news could move the doggon stock.

As for Saddam Hussain, he's just using words of propaganda to try and stave off what he knows is coming. For him to strike up a defense. . .verbally, and attack the US with rhetoric only establishes the fact that he is probably guilty of something we have yet to see. Who knows? Lets hope for the best.
Peace. . .

EZ. . .
Interesting that analysts aren't picking up their "buy" ratings on KM, now. They'll wait for it to hit 5 bucks before they recommend it. This is the point where investors should watch closely. At 68 cents. . .it was a gamble. Now, however, the gamble is decreasing as KM initiates its turnaround plan. I hardly think we'll see KM melt into the woodwork.
Peace. . .

Arch. . .they still have to face the wrath of MSFT's attorneys. Chances are good that they won't win the case. Quite frankly, they don't have the money to push the case through the process. So unless MSFT caves in (and MSFT didn't cave in against the Feds). . .they don't stand a chance. Play it on the emotion of the market!
Peace. . .

Arch. . .BEOS looks like a good "flipper" to me. As far as their O/S goes, they missed the boat when they didn't sell to AAPL back in 96 for 125 million. Oops! Should be a fun daytrading stock to watch!
Peace. . .
(don't know about this market, however. It seems like all the tech companies that are on their way out just want to take a bit out of MSFT)

**Stock Alert (came to me over the internet):
A target price of $3.03 has been set for FY2002. See the complete Research Report.
We believe the below release, is tremendous news for SWEB and shareholders alike. By setting a fixed conversion price, the uncertainty of how many shares and how dilutive the effect would be, on conversion, is eliminated.
Under the previous agreement, the Company could have issued over 30 million shares, depending on market price. Under this new agreement, the maximum number of shares would be approximately 3.65 million, an unlikely event since SWEB has historically paid down the debt further limiting the number of shares issued.
As previously structured, investors looking to short SWEB were in the drivers seat, anticipating a flood of shares entering the market. Those shorting SWEB are in for a rude awakening. Look for this agreement to cause them to cover, since they can no longer expect a large number of shares to enter the market at a discount.
Showing strong support for SWEB and its business model, the noteholders have fixed the conversion price at $0.50, 2.5 times the current price. In addition, the notes are non-interest bearing and have no pre-payment penalties.
Debt reduction, reducing or eliminating dilution, eliminating uncertainty; all things that the investment community looks for and truly good news for Stockgroup and its investors.
STOCKGROUP AND NOTEHOLDERS AGREE TO FIXED $0.50 CONVERSION PRICE
Discount to market pricing formula cancelled
San Francisco, February 18, 2002. Stockgroup Information Systems Inc., (OTCBB: SWEB), a financial media and technology company is pleased to announce that it has restructured its Convertible Notes with Deephaven Capital Management and Amro International S.A.
Under the terms of the agreement, Stockgroup has issued new convertible notes, which reduce the principal of the previous convertible notes to $1.824 million. The new notes are non-interest bearing, have no pre payment penalties and are convertible into shares at a fixed price of $0.50 per share. The convertible notes have a term ending December 31, 2003 with renewal provisions for a further two years if necessary. The company has agreed to make minimum cash payments on the note totaling $300,000 paid in quarterly installments beginning June 30, 2002 until December 31, 2004. The note holders have agreed to extinguish all outstanding accrued interest and pre-payment penalties and fees, which will result in a recovery of amounts previously recorded.
"The old convertible note structure provided a great deal of uncertainty for current and potential investors who were or are concerned that the note holders would create unquantifiable millions of new dilutive shares because of the discount to market formula that the agreement allowed. The new convertible notes removes the discount to market provision and allows current and potential investors to calculate the exact number of shares that will be outstanding should conversion take place. Additionally should the company choose to pay down the debenture as it has done in the past even fewer shares will be issued" stated Marcus New, CEO of Stockgroup.
Mr. New continued "Over the last year the company has successfully transitioned its business from a financial community dependent largely on advertising and subscription revenues to one providing financial content management and software to some of North America's largest corporations along with it's expanding communication and disclosure products for public companies. We are very pleased to have the support of our note holders and their vote of confidence in our current business plans and prospects for growth"
For full details of this agreement please view the Form 8-K to be filed by the company.

Arch,
The technicals don't look too good out there. I'm just hoping the government officials are timing their maneuvers with the market trends. Hey, if the market's going down anyway, might as well make the second wave of attacks on terrorists during that time rather than when the market is going up. Who knows what they're doing over there? I don't think we'll see much of an improvement in market sentiment until it's all said and done. Not significant, anyway. I'll be watching from the sidelines for a while. Will keep posting on the thread if I find any hot picks.
Peace. . .

I don't believe Fred works for Hartcourt any longer. But your point is valid. I've been waiting to see something on Enova for several . . .years. Now, at the point when it was highly expected to see some valuation to the shares, there is nothing. Nuff said.

M&M Man
John,
I agree to a certain extent. As much as possible, however, I'd like to consider the "innocent" people that WILL ALSO BE KILLED. That's why I'm hoping the leaders of the world will take things easily. I'm HOPING we have elected people to run our world. . .that are thinking about all the issues and hety have a concern for everyone/country and all else. . .involved. I just DON'T think we have! I do, however, believe that G. Bush Jr. and his team are amongst the best the United States has ever experienced. I don't necessarily believe in all they do and say. . .but I trust their "true" interest is to improve the world. It's just not easy to determine who is "right" when it comes to move #2. That's all I can say right now. Sh** will probably hit the fan. We all knew it was coming. The sad part about it is that most of us (probably all of us that communicate on this thread and the Ihub site) knew it was coming. I know it had to come. Just hate to believe it is going to happen. One reason I love the United States is that we do NOT want it to happen. Our country was created to avoid all of this. . .not create it. But now . . .I think what may have happened is that those with "terror" in thie minds. . .want to tell the rest of the world we're trying to take over. And. . .there are a LOT of people out there that will belive . . .because. . .thre is a "meaning" behind all powers that be. ALL. THEY NEVER READ THOMAS PAINE OR BENJAMIN FRANKLIN!!! They don't understand. . .and they send their pychos to America. . . .with their limited understanding. It's simply amazing. I DO believe . . .if the US and the other countries around the world don'g just sit back and chill out for a while. . .things could move a little quicker than they should. . .and escalate to higher levels of destruction. Which NONE of us want to happen. I think it would be good for all of our leaders (and we that believe in good things) to sit back and put the thought of destruction aside. There's just oo many potent weapons in existance. The IMPORTANT thing right now is NOT TO TRIGGER the IDIOTS into making a move that will piss off a super-power. Then. . .the sh** will hit the fan just because the "powers" that be want to PROVE they are powers. Okay. . .I vented again. Obviously the concern in our "NEW" world is not money. Or is it?
Peace. . .
M&M Man
EZ. . .LOL! Could be a little "overbought" on some issues. The mere sign that the "gold" sector. . .is even being looked at. . .is enough to . . .know. . .that. . .money is flowing there and there's a reason behind everything. What we need to find is a stock in a young company that is public and provides staple food items to the public. Of course, "defense" and "offense" companies. . .might be worth watching. Lets put it this way. . .it's a strange market. Sometimes, it's just smart to sit back and think about things. Nothing at all wrong about that concept. When "predicting" gets more and more difficult. . .it's nice to know one did the "predicting" right at the right points in the economy! The big "T.O!". . .is a VERY important strategy at times. Patience. . .is going to be . . .the highest virtue. Lets all go golfing! LOL!
Peace. . .
M&M Man
Tin. . .
The interesting part now. . .after all these years, is to sit back and watch it all. The "educated" people have figured it out. . .but yet some of them continue to play games on RB. There's certainly a "paid" agenda with those who have stated only the bad about HRCT. There's no other reason for it to happen. Lets put it this way. . .I can think of tens of dozens of companies I would go after if I were employed as a fraud finder. It's a big waste of time. Hopefully, investors will soon figure that out and . . .will have decided that they invested for a reason, a purpose. . .and an intention. . .and with a "hope" in mind. Then they will see how there are some that prey on the "hopes" of others. I know one thing. . .sell, but. . .or hold. . .there is no other company I believe in in this market other than HRCT. And that does NOT mean I believe anyone needs to purchase the stock.
Think about it. . .
Peace. . .
M&M Man
Great outlook! In the short-term. . .and mid-term. . .watch GOLD!

Hi Willy. . .doggonit!! I missed the chat! :( I've just been watching these events in the Middle East. . .hoping/wishing that it would all just come to an end. Hopefully BEFORE another major attack. You know, I have to be quite honest. . .and hope my message doesn't get deleted. . .
WHAT THE FU** WERE THEM STUPID IDIOTS THINKING WHEN THEY ATTACKED AMERICA!!!!!!!!????????? THEIR MISSION WAS / IS TO ACCOMPLISH EXACTLY WHAT THEY HAVE DONE! THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT LOSING! THEY JUST WANT THE REST OF THE WORLD TO LIVE IN A SH** ENVIRONMENT LIKE THEY LIVE IN/LIVED IN!
Ahhhh,. . .it feels good to let thet out.
Peace. . .
PS.......See JANX thread before all the others. Things will probably start rolling soon. Watch HRCT as well.
