You can't get rid of the JETS!!
It's been a while since I've been home, you could be right. I remember driving up to Pine Plains on the Bronx River Pkwy and it took about 1:30. I remember passing Poughipsee about halfway so about 45 min. I guess it depends on where you start the trip. I started it from pelham parkway in the bronx, so for me it was about that long.
I think that they have been buying back shares for a while now a little at a time. One billion shares would cost about $2M. I think it's very feasable that this company has the funds to do that over a 5 year period for example.
The CEO of QBID personally bought back and cancelled 1B shares. If he can do that, it's possible for Fayiz to accomplish the same kind of thing.
I hope that something happens soon. I really could use a few million bucks to get my life in order.
Anyway, bottom line is that this stock scares me because it is a news release away from making an enourmous jump. I think that Universal Trader is right in that we could one day see this stock open at $3 a share. I hope I'm at a computer when that happens.
I wish that Fayiz wasn't so secretive with everything. We could really use some info. Everything we all post is just speculation and heresay.
Anyone heard from ROUNDMOT? I haven't heard anything from him in a while.
Actually, Cetek isn't that far from the city. Only about 30-45 min drive from the Bronx on the Bronx River Pkwy.
That's very honorable of Ben and I'm happy that he is a man of God. As a military member and a fellow servant of Christ, I appreciate his statement.
However, the Jets were robbed.
Can you explain what this all means? From what I understand, short selling is when a MM sells the stock without actually buying it hoping that he can make a profit when the stock goes down. Am I right so far?
So, if that is true, how does this affect the stock price?
Just wait until you made a good profit and then ask him who's the dummy.
I have no idea why the price has dropped this much, but I just got another 1100 shares today. This stock is on sale right now...buy em while you can.
Just wait until they start selling the cigarettes. Guaranteed to make a few million the first year alone.
I'm telling you guys, there is most likely a buyback in the works and one day we will see the O/S decrease substantially and not need worry about it anymore.
If Fayiz is a man of his word and is as nuts as he seems to be, then one day we could see the O/S be reduced by over 1 bil shares. He said 500 million, but I have a feeling that it will be at least double that number.
I think Fayiz's main flaw is that he expects things to happen too soon and is a little off in his predictions for the company. He stated about a buyback, acquisitions and SEC filings. I don't think he's lying, just unrealistic on when he thinks that all these things will take place. I've worked for plenty of bosses like that who want something to happen right away without taking into consideration all the things that must be in order before it could happen.
We will be fine. What are the chances of this stock actually going over a dollar this year? Probably slim and none but I do think that someday we will see that kind of PPS.
Yep, I'm here. I'm also a disgruntled Jets fan. They should have won that game. It was a bunch of crap, just like the friggin ALCS. NY teams just couldn't catch a break this season.
Dimmi "tu", non lei!!
Where did you find that? Geez, I hope that I didn't do anything to start some kind of false hope in people. I've always tried to be objective about what I heard.
You don't think that I've been pumping the stock in a bad way with what I've said do you?
It's kind of scary to see your words out there like that.
I use etrade and it doesn't have any fees like that. Just a $20 comission. I was reading about a company called sharebuilder.com. They are for small time investors with very low comissions. What I mean by small time is investors that only make a few trades a month. It seemed very impressive. If I wasn't so involved with etrade, I'd check it out myself. There was another company along the same lines but I can't remember the name.
My guess is none. I think the reason they're sticking with the name is to re-establish the consumers that are familiar with the brand. This way, it saves on advertising costs. It makes sense, and is the best guess I can come up with.
I have to say that the news was completely unexpected. I don't think we should play this stock AT ALL. Just hold until you make some serious cash. I was actually thinking of selling some off to get some back at 1, but now I'm glad I didn't. We should close over $2 today. Expect another split soon. I see it happening in 6 mos. Wellstone will want to have about a billion shares outstanding before they go to a major market.
This is just the Silverton brand. Wait until we start selling the wellstones. If their production allows, watch for 500K cartons a week once they're in full production mode worldwide. This very well could be the fastest growing company in america. And the best part is that we found it before it goes big time.
I don't rely on those analyst pages anyway. They change their ideas like I change my underwear. Hopefully the news release next week will spark buying in Lucent. There's no way that the company will not be profitable. They've had 3 consecutive profitable quarters and have been garnering more business than ever. Once Iraq is stable, Lu will be the leader in getting that country spun up on communication technology.
I like Lucent long term but I might trade short at 8 or 9 even though I think this stock will be back at 30 in a few years.
Ha, well if we hit big, you can afford liposuction!! I pray that you will be out of there in no time.
Think of it as a new years sale. Stocks go up and down. If you look at the overall trend over a period of time, you will see that Wellstone is up significantly. I happen to think that it's starting to drop because of no recent news and some people are taking profits.
It sounds like they're Italian and they could be actually from Italy because that's the way they do it over here. The wife uses both names for legal reasons.
Let's hope so, I'm finally starting to see gains. I'm averaged at .0019. I think the days of .001 are over. I am looking forward to this month and the rest of the year. I think Cetek is finally ready to make its run.
Let's all remember that it used to trade at $1.75. That would be just fine with me if it made it there again.
Some of these insiders have had shares since the inception of the stock. If I recall correctly, this stock used to trade at around .005 when it first came out years ago (I could be wrong).
If I had many shares and had bought some at .005, I'd take a profit too.
Maybe that guy needed money for something, who knows. I wouldn't be too worried about it. WLSF is a gold mine, just wait until 2006. You will see a VERY nice price by then.
Here you go Smokin, thought you'd like this:

Well,
Started the day on an uptick. Let's see where we close for the weekend. Any guesses? I'll put $5 on .0024
Not only that, the word acquisition has an (s) after it meaning that he is potentially looking at more than one takeover.
Hmmm...I wish I knew what was going on. One thing remains positive. They are continually operating in the black. As long as that stays constant, we should see modest gains. I am looking forward to the day if and when they get off the pinks.
You know what,
The more I think about it, the more you make sense. The fact that the price is tenths of a penny make the O/S less meaningful because people can own millions of it. Unlike Intel which also has about 4bil O/S. I could never afford to own 2 million intel shares. So $5K gets me 2 mil CTKH where $5K gets me only 250 shares of intel. That's a huge difference and the CTKH gets bought up quicker.
Now, I can definately see how Cetek could all of a sudden make a huge jump if thousands of people start trading it. The theory is not so far fetched and it is actually very likely if the right news gets released. That leaves the people who heard about this first in a very exclusive position. It's kind of like getting a first chance to buy a car that isn't available to the general public yet.
I still think that the O/S could stand to be reduced significantly.
If 1000 people bought an average of 2 mil shares each, that's 2 bil shares bought up right there.
Wow, we could very likely be sitting on a gold mine. Get your shovels out boys, it's gonna be time to start digging soon!
Good point. There's probably even less people trading this stock if you assume that Fayiz owns 51% and his son with another hundred million.
I mean, really, who would know about cetek except those who are in close proximity to someone who is in the know.
The only reason I'm in here is because of my dad's friend. Otherwise I would have never given cetek a second thought, let alone heard about it.
However, a reduced # of O/S wouldn't hurt. I will be paying close attention to this stock over the next couple of months. This could be my early retirement. I just hope that we all sell at the prime moment.
I'm trying not to get my hopes up and I am trying to remain skeptical. But after Universal's post, I can't stop thinking about a nice villa in Italy, with a ferrari in the driveway, completely paid for. You all are invited to the house warming party.
You know, I really want to believe you. I was thinking all day yesterday about what I'd do with all the cash. And your prediction goes right along with what my dad's friend kept saying. He said you could wake up one day and see this stock at $10.
So, I ask, what is it that you see that can cause this? Is it the reverse merger? Could that have that much of an affect on the stock?
Dude,
If you are right, I will buy you dinner over here in italy.
It sounds like you know something. Do you have any time frame for this?
I think you're 100% on the money with these stocks.
I had a little hesitation to invest in qbid because of what it is as well. I thought I'd be contributing to their wicked lifestyles. But then I figured that my investment or non investment in qbid wouldn't change anything so I looked at it as strictly a business opp.
When you think about it, you can't invest in anything that isn't related to some kind of sin or immorality. Even Disney produces R rated movies.
The CEO of Johnson and Johnson is a self admitted satan worshipper. Should I not buy qtips or shampoo because of that? No, his sin has nothing to do with me.
So, my philosophy is to invest but not participate. I can seperate the two.
If he wants the pps to go up, he'll need to cancel about 3.5 billion shares. The company doesn't make enough money to account for 4 bil O/S.
IM NOT GAY!!!
I think it's funny how everyone seems to need to state their sexual preference when talking about this stock, myself included.
People do that on the qbid board.
There are a few gays on that board that are real sensitive and any mention of something that could be taken remotely as derogatory, they get immediately defensive.
Hey, I support gay marriage as long as both chicks are hot!!
That was a joke, I will remove the comment from the record myself your honor.
I think there's plenty of time to get in. They have 9 bil shares outstanding right now. The stock won't move for some time but they are planning on buying back and cancelling the shares.
I'd go now if it wasn't so cold :o)
I love the military, but I can't stand being wiser than my superiors. Leadership keeps dumping more and more stuff on us that is getting too heavy. It's not one thing in particular, but many small things. For example: They now require us to log all of our workouts in a computer program. It is completely pointless because it is not accurate and people are just logging in to shut them up. It doesn't give them an accurate picture of anything. It is just another stupid program someone created to get an attaboy. Unfortunately this kind of stuff affects everyone at all levels. The chaos that was created for that program alone is immesureable. You wouldn't believe the butterfly effect that has been created because of this. And this is just one thing.
Anyway, enough venting.
Go CETEK!!
Either or, I'm fine with what it does. If it goes down, I'm looking to go shopping. If it goes up, I'm excited for the payoff. It's nice to watch my portfolio lit up green.
If you look at the stock prices I listed in my other post, I think we will be somewhere in the middle with wellstone. I predict $25-$35 when it's fully operational and in demand.
Up .10 already and the market just opened! I'm telling you, we should see 3 by the end of the week. I think the days of under 2 could be over very soon.
What's up C,
Well, to sum up, this company makes ceramic substrates that can be used in a variety of applications dealing with flat panel displays. Most common being like the ones you see on cell phones.
They supposedly have a unique process that allows them to make any size panel necessary which no other company can do past a certain size.
They don't release much info and that's what frustrates investors, but the potential of their product could be enormus.
The CEO seems to have something up his sleeve to catapult this company into a major market.
It is family owned and seems to be reputable.
Look at post 1827 for a good summary of the news. You can also get info from cetektechnologies.com
Il Padrino
These are all the stocks for the cigarette manufacturers I could find. All very promising for us if wellstone can even come close to some of these guys.
I don't think silverton is in business anymore because I saw that their product was discontinued.

Hey, you can't complain with making a profit. You could have just as easily sold short and then you'd be kicking yourself. You doubled your money. That can't be bad.
With cetek, I'm expecting to make 150x what I put into it. So I invest 5K, I'm looking to make 750K out of that. I think it's very possible with this stock.
I think that this stock along with WLSF and QBID will make me a millionaire.
Cetek could do it alone if everything goes right.
I like the discussion that we're in right now..."how much should I take as profit?", instead of "how much I lost on this stupid company".
It seems that everyone feels we will see big gains with cetek. Can we all be wrong? I don't think so. The collective minds on this board are very intelligent and I expect to see something from this stock.
Up about 70% in 2 days. Not bad. I'm back to broke even now. Let's hope that this trend continues to new highs this year. If Lucent could finally make a run, I'll be in the green with every stock I own. I expect them to release good news this quarter and the stock should finally start to move.
Anybody have any info on the company? Are they profitable, earnings, etc? Do they have a stock?
Isn't that awesome!!!
I expect the stock to hit 3 this week with that news. This stock is very exciting.
Watch for a big run today.
Which trip are you referring to? I'm going to Sardania in the spring if that's the one you're talking about.
Aim High, you're funny. Right now I'm aiming at trying to make enough money to get the heck out. I don't like it anymore, it's become too political and asinine.
