So am I to understand that we can discuss children's books on this forum as long as we stick to the facts? LOL. You can't make this stuff up.
AHH yes... The children's book argument. I suppose staying on topic was always overrated anyway.
Some really good technical analysis on this board. Keep grinding out that rent money, Kanisch.
We have a winner. One of our posters has a piece of this figured out.
Yep, all loaded up
Right there with ya, Schmidtty. Good to know someone is out there interested in the whole truth with the means to seek it out.
The final leg of the stool is the lack of contracts/revenues argument. The Ganthet deal is NOT sufficient evidence to kick the final leg out. I am dubbing this next 90 days "the final leg". The final leg is the most critical leg for all of us "longs".
I believe we're at a Tipping Point. I think smart money establishes some kind of a position. Any acceptable risk for an individual considering validian as a potential m&a investment is worth taking at these prices in my view.
That simply couldn't be more incorrect. A successful field test or beta test does not automatically mean and ongoing Revenue contract or service agreement. It's simply is not true. neither does the failure of a beta test or field test automatically equal a Dead on Arrival product. This is utterly absurd!
Lack of an ongoing Revenue contract does not equal a failed field tests or beta test and it does not equal a non-marketable product either.
Finally somebody said what I had suspected. I wasn't sure, but I think you're absolutely correct. I don't know enough about the industry, but that seemed patently obvious to me.
VLDI works. I'm convinced of it. Can Bruce bring it to Market? That's the 24 billion dollar question.
Let me get this straight......
(This is purely speculative because we don't know the names that either did or did not conduct beta and field tests)
Scenario:
Microsoft field tests the validian protect product and the results are positive.
Negotiations break down for use of the product because of price or terms of use or because Microsoft wants to initiate a buyout which is not acceptable to Bruce. They can't come to terms.
The result is no service contract for the time being and no ongoing revenues.
How does that suddenly make the field and beta tests a failure?
Concluding that beta tests and/or field tests were failures due to the complexities of ongoing service agreements and the potential breakdown in negotiations is absurd.
Let's see...SAIC failure DEBUNKED
VERIFIED beta and field test failures DEBUNKED
Ashes, ashes, they all fall down.
Oh no no no! We've been told a thousand times that there were indeed field testers and beta testers. And we've been told that they failed so it must be true. There is no way to conclude otherwise since we have the best investigative stock studiers right here on Investors Hub.
We've been told ad nauseam that the failures are obvious, so we're not letting go of that now.
I think it's a little of both. The beta testers and field testers of the product aren't known. But the ones that aren't known ran for the hills because the product failed. So what I'm extrapolating is that we have no idea if there were any beta testers or field testers but they surely failed because they must have based on what we don't know.
Thank God for the due diligence provided in this forum. It looks like we've been able to successfully determine that all the beta testers and field testers have run for the Hills even though we don't even know who they were that actually tested the product.
The old Electric Light Orchestra song "Strange Magic" comes to mind.
Haha haha! That away guys. Paint that tape! What a joke.
Me suspended. No good dummyheads! LMAO! Tra Pla, that brief interlude of insanity was the only thing that kept me from committing suicide after reading those two links you provided me. LOL. Even though my brain has been turned to mush, I now have a better understanding of what you were talking about. Thanks
Every time I try to read up on stuff like UDT it turns my brain into tapioca. Are there any particular implications to your post that we should know about?
The rollout in the OEM is happening as we speak. Just because it's not happening in the traditional sense that you are used to seeing doesn't mean it's not happening.
According to the press release, we should all be holding our breath over the next 45 to 90 days. Can anyone remember when Bruce ever produced a solid timeline like that? He always used phrases like "in the near future" or "in the coming weeks" or "as we move forward".
Putting out a soft timeline of 45 to 90 days isn't something I can remember seeing from him.
I agree with surwins assessment regarding the caveat statement "reach agreeable terms". I also think that the statement "in a position to form Partnerships with a major company" is a caveat as well. The truth is that all of us here are in a position to "form Partnerships or achieve licensing agreements with a major corporation". Any one of us can enter into an agreement with a major corporation at any time. There is nothing specific in the passage that qualifies Validian as being a realistic player when it comes to forming that partnership or achieving that agreement.
Microsoft rumours? What did he say? Who did he float it to?
Lol! Very poetic. Try this:
The once was a man named Bruce
Whose claim was the new golden goose
His stock price went down, which sure made me frown
With no money to buy a damn noose!
No question about it. Holders of the stock are definitely going to need a good tax accountant
That's a complete mischaracterization. You cannot surmise that in the least. You can only surmise that no company KNOWN TO YOU has said they want to use VP. It's impossible to surmise that a company will or will not use a middleware unless you are a part of that company's management
Who says I'm not loading the boat? I'm just not telling anyone else to. By the way, are you sure I'm not in the know?
Regardless of the reason for last week's sell-off. Validian definitely needs a bounce-back week. A strong Tuesday Newsday is in order for sure.
I don't know why you're responding to my post with the snarky "load the boat" phrase, pip. You can look through the history of my posts and I have never once told anyone to load the boat or buy or anything of the sort.
Surwin is right. It wasn't just one seller. It was one seller that went absolutely crazy and decided to drag down the price of this stock. In turn, several other people followed suit. We could see more of a sell-off yet.
However, I'm not going to let this board be distracted from what is a very real issue. The veracity of someone who is supposed to be an expert in this field is in grave question.
Wrong again. There is no ambiguity in Bruce's language regarding the saic issue. Everyone on this board knows it too. Russ's claims regarding the saic are highly unlikely due to the umambiguous nature of Validians website regarding the saic.
Trying to distract us all with talk of previous press releases yada yada yada does nothing to address the saic issue. Diversions aren't going to work with me.
If you believe Russ, you believe a man that has no motivation to tell the truth from a legal standpoint. If you believe Bruce, you're believing a man that could be prosecuted for lying.
How many would it take to convince you?
They don't want to make a real sale in the way that you interpret it. Other cyber security companies are playing a game of ping-pong. They sell it, it doesn't work, they sell it, it's breached, they sell it, it's proven ineffective. They sell it and it always comes back.
Bruce is creating a giant Red Rubber Ball that is dropped vertically and wipes out the entire playing field. Bouncing up and down and wiping out every ping pong ball and every paddle and every hacker on the playing field.
Do you think there isn't a demand for a secure messaging app? Did I hear that right? Why don't you ask every politician, world leader, and corporate mogul if a messaging app that had top-notch security features would be beneficial.
Actually, there are a number of of applications already utilizing it.
I think the point here is that Bruce is saying with absolute terms that validian has never been tested by saic or even associated with them in the least. He is putting that truth claim out there openly on his website for all to see.
In contrast, we have a particular member of this forum that is making the exact opposite truth claim. If he is not telling the truth, there is no way to hold him accountable legally or otherwise. Bruce can definitely be held accountable. To me, it's easy to decide who I want to believe. A guy that has ultimate accountability for lying becomes much easier to render credibility to.
Totally agree unless my theory is correct. If it is, the more to this than meets the eye
Crazy stuff? Any details, Surwin?
Actually, that is an opinion since you're speculating on a future phone call. No offense, LTG, but I think your interpretation of what a fact is is a bit different from how I understand its definition.
Amen to that. I think we deserve some answers, good or bad. If you've got a marketable product, sell me on the idea. If you don't, at least tell me what your plan is going forward. I'm listening.
Agreed. Those that have espoused the workings behind the scenes, including myself, need to start seeing that come to fruition immediately. No more hiding behind NDAs, etcetera. It's time to show your cards or fold, Bruce.
Like I said. Someone may have gotten it right when they said the days of buying @ .017 are gone forever.
