This should be a great long weekend read, posting full article here, thanks for the Link Tlsmd.
How to ask for samples, or just buy the Hybrid Knife.
http://liquidmetal.com/about/faqs/#sample
Going by what Bromage said I think they will all be under one roof. A one stop shop for potential customers to see all option in one location.
Yes lqmt will be the Supplier too GM,Tesla etc in its territorial market, and a LQMT/Mg Metal Composite has great potential. Microsoft already uses Mg alloys for its Surface range of consumer products, Prof. Li knows where the future is.
If you are so concerned about lqmt's future don't waste your time praying, sell instead. Problem Solved.
Eontec has been granted use of certain CIP patents, NOT ALL, and those patents have territorial and CE restrictions. In Return LQMT has use of EON patents with territorial restrictions only. CE restrictions are still active on LQMT if CIP IP is used with EON BMG, but not if EON Machines are used with EON BMG.
Furthermore, why would Prof. Li spend close to $10 million on Lake Forest and machinery if he intends to run off ?
If he's intentions where to run off with CIP IP he would have used the $65m he paid LQMT for a share buyback and privatise LQMT. But he didn't, couldn't if you factor in Apple.
Prof. Li said he will make LQMT "the global leader in amorphous alloy production" And "Transfer Orders to the domestic"
and production would begin in Q3 with prototyping already completed.
"In addition, new products are underway power the use of lower cost alloys, lower cost molds, and China based production. These new capabilities provide broader and more competitive solutions to meet challenging customer requirements. To scale the business we are readying our building, a 41,000 square foot facility in nearby Lake Forest, California for volume production. We expect it to be operational in early third quarter."
"Second, we are about to receive our first two hot crucible die cast machine, leveraging technology developed by Eon. These systems produced high quality Liquimetal parts using low cost alloys. And the machines can make parts that are up to three times larger than our cold crucible systems. We are finding immediate interest in the many new applications that are enabled by this technology and have customer prototypes in China on identical machines." ~Bruce Bromage
Thats why everyone is holding.
"LMT Licensed Patents” i read that as patents that where licensed to EON by LMT.
Now that would be another compelling reason to Prof. Li to Hedge his bets.
You cut the head off one LQMT fear monger and another grows back.
Yeah its interesting how some of these 'new' posters have accounts that where opened years ago that have all of a sudden become more active.
Have been thinking about this.
http://micgadget.com/38452/no-iphone-edition-or-no-5-8-inch-iphone-8/
After all the confusing/contradicting rumours about the next iPhone the general consensus was;
- 's' upgrades to the iPhone 7 with LCD, Wireless charging, metal body.
- iPhone Edition with OLED, wireless charging, glass sandwich.
- predictions/Hope the 7s would use Metallic Glass to allow wireless charging,
- glass sandwich would use a BMG subframe and possibly extruded BMG Band.
Previously Josh posted that the iPhone Edition will likely be in 2018, supported by the above rumour link. And now rumours of 2 new OLED sizes for 2018,
If it releases the iPhone Edition this year, Apple would end up having 3 OLED iPhones in 2018 (5.28,5.8,6.46) Doesn't make sense for Apple to release 3 iPhone models with 2 different display panels, 2 different designs, 3 different screen sizes that are too close in size to justify the middle size and a headache for developers. And it would affect the sale of the LCD iPhones since many would want the new OLED version.
So Apple killed off this years OLED iPhone, or maybe it was never meant for release and was always a prototype for the next design change after the 's' upgrade. Its been claimed several times that the OLED phone has advanced tech that needed time to develop. Maybe thats why it has been seen so early in its development phase.
So 2 LCD iPhone 's' upgrades this year,
and 2 new OLED iPhones Designs next year.
That makes so much more sense, nice and simple doesn't confuse consumers or developers. Does not fragment Apple's line up, Does not kill the demand for LCD 7s models.
If this years iPhone does have wireless charging and the same metal design form, then it must use BMG.
Not thinking of selling until mid 2019 and even then it will only be in small amounts and only if the share price is above $2-3, If not i keep working.
Ultimately I intend to hold beyond re-listing and just use my trading account as an ATM, not thinking about diversifying into other stocks.
If i held my aapl stocks i would be earning a nice dividend right now.
Lessons learned
The awards will be presented on the last day of the conference, Tuesday 23rd.

We will find out on Monday if there is a bump up from Singaporean investors.
Thats a big Company to overcome.

My mistake, i meant i saw the factory on nat geo i think, on super car factory something similar.
Next time you see him Advocate the use of Liquidmetals. No have not been to Italy for decades.
Not sure if he does or doesn't but he sounds more of an artisan in Italian.
If anyone is going to pioneer new materials in automobiles its him. Niche of Niche.
Yes, a real work of art, the owner is a major perfectionist. If i owned a Pagani i would never use it, just house it indoors like a masterpiece.

"Ps: I did reach out personally to LQMT to request a sample of BMG so that I can see and feel what I've invested in and incredibly, I received it in a weeks time. I'd post a photo of it but haven't figured out how to on this board."

This could be the reason why Apple gave Corning $200m for advanced manufacturing.
Maybe after July 2nd.
7. The method of claim 1, wherein the metal substrate is a metallic glass substrate.
Offering a better mirror finish on ‘Corse’ BMG Substrate ?
9. A method of modifying the chemical composition of a metallic glass comprising: depositing a metallic coating on a metallic glass substrate to form a coated metallic glass; and applying pulsed radiation to the coated metallic glass to form a metallic glass substrate with altered chemical composition from the metallic glass substrate.
So coating the BMG substrate to form a BMG Coated BMG substrate. Maybe to apply different colour coating onto ‘standard’ BMG Substrate ?
10. The method of claim 9, further comprising oxidizing the metallic glass substrate with altered chemical composition.
Sounds like colour.
11. The method of claim 9, wherein the metallic glass substrate with altered chemical composition has a different color than the metallic glass substrate.
Yeah, its for Colour.
12. The method of claim 9, wherein the metallic glass substrate with altered chemical composition has greater hardness than the metallic glass substrate.
BMG coating + BMG Substrate > BMG Case.
19. The metal of claim 15, wherein both the metallic substrate and metallic coating are a metallic glass.
Mirrored BMG Coloured Finish over a BMG Substrate.
Different BMG formulas are deposited on 'standard' BMG substrates, those different BMG formulas allow for different colours.
I see the Hybrid knife bottom right of that webpage.

Maybe one of Li's growing JV BMG partners ?
Don't Pay PayME, Free LQMT Level 2 on OTC Markets.
http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/LQMT/quote
I understand your logic and what your saying, this is my rationale, LQMT will be a success, no doubt about it in My mind.
So just based on My personal belief i would rather buy 2-4 times more shares Now than wait for .50 or 1.00.
Thats my investment strategy, each to their own.
And yet Prof. Li only refers to lqmt regarding his Award. LQMT needs to become profitable if Li is too justify the investment to Eontec shareholders.

Still not enough volume to trade the highs, but not for those with a creative imagination lolz.
Its what Gorgol warned us all about, the higher lqmt goes, the harder it will be to accept the pullbacks.
Games are being played.

Agree, relax, nothing to worry about. Its all part of Li's Master plan.
1 week prior to that low of 18.5, lqmt was at 19.5 and in a downtrend after spiking at 23.8 cents early in the year.
In that week, march 22nd, Visser decided to exercise his warrants on a cashless basis, saving lqmt 17,075,708 shares.
Four weeks later lqmt tops at 27.7 cents. Visser lost out again by exercising his warrants too early.
If Visser waited a little longer, maybe when lqmt went above 30 cents, he would have needed less shares to achieve the strike price for the warrants (on a cashless basis) leaving him with allot more than 4,156,833 lqmt shares.
Professor Li is Extremely Shrewd.
A press release was released AFTER Visser excised his warrants.
And therein lies the Problem, LQMT is still looking for that 1 killer application that will force Industries to follow suit and also copy the tech.
Prof. Li is championing LQMT and gradually making it successful/profitable,
but unfortunately only Apple's open use will make LQMT an overnight success.
Thanks for the post, I Hope Li has something to do with that phone, Maybe Gorgol will buy the Lamborghini Liquid Metal Phone to use when driving around in the Orange Lambo.

Thanks for posting, some positive news, some sobering news.
Never been invested in a company that all of a sudden is now the pioneer of TWO disruptive technologies, both applicable in wide markets from Bio to Space and everything in-between.
Li has Unimaginably increased LQMT’s potential, far beyond even my wildest Unicorn dream.
I feel i’m now invested in Professor Li, not LQMT. Feels about right, long ago i invested in Apple only because of Jobs.
Lightning does strike Twice.
I believe you are right. Prof. Li will not only show he can produce parts cheaper than previous quotes, but more Importantly he can mass manufacture those parts.
The 41,000 square-foot Lake Forest facility, equiped with several different types of metal processing machines, is something that LQMT could not have done before. Now LQMT Can.
Old RFQ/P Customers that where discouraged by the price per part and upfront costs, will now be more inclined to reconsider LQMT thanks to Li changing LQMT’s business model from Only providing prototypes and Licensing, to actually becoming a parts manufacture/supplier to those customers.
No more large upfront investment in machinery that discourages potential customers.
Cheaper quoted parts that are lower cost than CNC and manufactured by LQMT.
Prof. Li is also willing to bear the expense of making those prototype parts and delivering them for appraisal, like he did with Tesla.
LQMT is now a Manufacturer, not just a Patent Licensor.
"We are very excited about the purchase of our new corporate office and manufacturing facility. The new facility will allow us to expand our manufacturing capabilities in line with our overall strategy to prepare the Company to be the global leader in amorphous alloy production," said Professor Lugee Li, Chairman and CEO at LQMT.
