This board looks like it has the hiccups.
No posts for months, then a few blusters, etc., etc.
Oh well............

Dear resident rectal orifice #2,

I’m desperate to do absolutely nothing. Unlike you, who finds it necessary to play your stock board bash games behind the veil of a bogus alias. I even have the courage to use my own name and sign my posts. Why can’t you do that…?!?
That rather make you an SI and iHub chicken-crap arseport, doesn’t it…??? What is it that makes you feel the need to hide..?!? Is it you’re too-close relationship with scum like Anthony@Pukerific (..the convicted, FBI-busted, greenmailing, stock scammer..), mmmotormmmouth mmmmary Cummins (..A@P’s premiere bash-twit..), the TwoothSqueaker (..who everybody SI laughs at..), or perhaps your bonehead Bubba ‘kkgd’ (..Portnoy’s clone..).
IMHO, you’re just another infected boil on the pimpled arse of the Internet. You sputter BS like Mary Cummins in high gear, and say nothing of value – ever. Lee Iacocca would drop kick a jerk like you into his “..THIRD GROUP..”, faster than you can drool down the front of your Italian, open-arm-pit formal-dress T-shirt.
Have a nice day.

Dear resident rectal orifice #1,
You obviously have no more than a 2nd Grade reading and comprehension level - coupled with your overwhelming compulsion to parrot what BS idiots like 'scion' sputter from their position of complete ignorance.

"...In addition, I serve as a Director "..for.." eConnect...
"Director of Corporate Alliances" was an "..operative title.." that permitted me - as a contracted consultant - to speak on behalf of eConnect and it's transaction technology when advising a potential client of the attributes and potential benefits of the system. Manny Vavolizza carried the operative title of "Director of Wall Street Relations" while on a consulting status to eConnect. Anyone who managed a specific function of the effort for eConnect was titled "Director of.......". Obviously a really tough concept for you to grasp - but if you do your Portnoy-thing one-handed for a while - you may finally get a grip and have your vision inprove at the same time.
Is that a "...Doooooooooh..." I hear coming from your section of the Peanut Gallery, Dipstick...?!?
So, if you or any of your Bozo buddies, like Anthony@Pukerific (The FBI-busted stock-scam felon), his accomplice mmmotormmmourh mmmary Cummins, 'scion'-the-nameless, etc., continue to obfuscate the facts and insinuate that the above verbiage says that I was a Director 'of the' eConnect corporation, then you are (..collectively..):
(a) one stupid flaming SOB - since the corporate records do not support it
(b) a blatant Furuking liar desperate for attention at any cost
(c) too bloody stupid to read 'Cat in a Hat' and understand it
(d) all of the above
You really are a jerk. Not to mention yellow to the core and too frightened to use your own name - or sign your BS posts.
Have a nice day.

Always nice to see a new technology on the move.

Hi Dave.
That rather supports my point, while apparently ringing the death knell for ECNI.

Yemeni police arrest second top al-Qaeda terror suspect
By Mark Huband, security correspondent, in London Published: March 5 2004 4:00 / Last Updated: March 5 2004 4:00
Yemeni police havearrested a founder of an Egyptian militant group linked with al-Qaeda - their second high profile arrest this week of an alleged Islamic extremist.
A government website announced that Imam al-Sharif had been arrested in the mountainous southern province of Abyan, where police had arrested an alleged local al-Qaeda organiser, Abdel Raouf Nassib, two days earlier.
Mr Sharif is a founder of the Egyptian Islamist group Jihad, whose militants within the Egyptian army were responsible for assassinating Anwar Sadat, the Egyptian president, in 1981. The group split in 1998, and a faction led by Ayman al-Zawahiri united with al- Qaeda and based themselves in Afghanistan.
However, Mr Sharif had argued with Mr Zawahiri during the split, and it is unclear whether he retained contact after Mr Zawahiri became Osama bin Laden's deputy and key ideological adviser.
Separately, Egypt's interior minister yesterday acknowledged that Mr Zawahiri's brother was being held in an Egyptian jail and would be put on trial. Mohammed al-Zawahiri was rumoured to have been arrested three years ago, but Egyptian authorities had refused to confirm it.
Yemeni authorities have not given the reason for Mr Sharif's arrest, nor explained what he had been doing in Yemen and how long he had been there. Mr Nassib's arrest on Tuesday is seen by officials as highly significant because of his alleged role as an al-Qaeda planner in Yemen's Abyan province.
In November 2002 he narrowly escaped death when a missile fired from an unmanned Predator aircraft operated by the CIA hit the car in which he was travelling. The attack killed six men, including Qaed al-Harthi, the alleged planner of an attack on the USS Cole in Aden harbour in 2000.
Mr Nassib is alleged to have helped in a jailbreak last year by several men arrested in connection with the attack on the USS Cole.
Yemeni authorities have taken tough action to prevent terrorist attacks, following the terrorist bombing of a French tanker off the Yemeni coast in October 2002.
But inadequate co-ordination between Yemeni and Saudi authorities in efforts aimed at preventing the trafficking of arms across their long and porous common border contributed to last year's attacks in Saudi Arabia, both governments acknowledge. Plans to build a border fence were suspended recently because of a long-standing dispute over the exact line of the border. However, Saudi authorities were yesterday reported as saying improved border patrols had led to the seizure of 71 weapons, 60,000 rounds of ammunition, 30 gun magazines, 100 sticks of dynamite and 14 bombs in the past three months alone.

You're such a generous old soul.
Ha ha ha ha..........
John
Hi Dave,
For the most part you're probably correct, the major opportunity was blown back in 2000.
If ENCI could managed to work a deal with someone like PG&E or whoever the major electrical sevice utilities are on the west coast these days, and in other major metro centers like Ney York City, Dallas, Chicago, etc., there might still be a shot at serving those (..primarily minorities, or kids under the financial control of their parents..) who don't have bank accounts. That was one of the original premises of the BizPlan as I recall; that people could purchase pre-paid debit cards or use credit cards to make payments or purchases.
It's been too bloody long, but I rather thought you could use the CashPad for making stand-alone transactions by plugging it into the phone line and entering the appropriate codes (..without a PC..). I could be completely off base on that, however. I no longer remember the details - nor do I care.
I sure wouldn't buy $50 worth of this whizbang, until they had a working deal with some major utitly company, or perhaps WalMart or Sears. (..Not too likely..).
Later,
John
Consider this response an exception, since you obviously wish to continue being an insulting rectal orifice regarding your referrals to me.
Adequate funding and financial relationship expertise and muscle was to be provided by both the clients I referred to. Since both of the entities report their annual revenue in the Billions, they're way the hell out of your league. I have no doubt that the rudimentary functionality could have been made operational, and what ever approvals were required could have been obtained. That is why eConnect's eventual demise was such a pathetic end to what could have been a leading edge advancement and success. CheckFree has made a killing picking up the slack.
As your bitterness over what must have been your personal losses continues to drive your presence on dead boards - take solace in the fact that all the failures were directly attributable to the subterfuge present at CA HQ. And, if you or anyone else thinks the CEO wasn't being ill-advised and both mentally and emotionally manipulated on a continuous basis by those around him - you are one hell of a lot dumber than I ever surmised.
You, as usual, don't know who or what you're speaking of. But, you remain satisfied to sputter prehistoric whines and complaints about situations you're not privy to. IMHO, you'd make a great reporter for the Star or National Inquirer. They, like you, require only half a story to go to press. So, shuffle you worn ont, dog eared and useless papers, and be satisfied to grouse over your spilt milk.
"EOM", as you armchair pseudoGuru's so often like to say.
John
Sorry.
He's going to get both barrels at every convient opportunity and/or Fluff-O-Gram until he damn well makes good on the BS began selling us 5+ years ago.
When he gets tired of picking verbal rock salt out of his bulbous, dimpled arse - maybe he'll quit with the "..rabbit trail crap.." and learn to "FOCUS" on the revenue generating transmissions.
Too many second chances already. Notwithstanding, the blantant personal lies which (a) wasted a lot of my time, and (b) have irked me to the core.
John
You made a "..promise.." for me.....?!?
Now that's definitely "..Risky Business.." there, ol' Son.
John
Thank you for posting that exceedingly impressive PR. The price-per-share jumped all the way up to 0.0017 and has now returned to 0.0016 (..approximately 2X the tax millage rate on sheep barns in North Dakota..).
Apparently the realization that "..NO SIGNAL = NO REVENUE = NO MONEY = NO PROFIT.." is beginning to sink in. And, more "..frilly fluff.." about gay-saavy producers, new rabbit trail programs, used B-17 tires, TWA mini-silverware, recycled stewardess uniforms, and relabelled generic soda pop, etc., just isn't cutting the "..pumpburger mustard.." anymore.
Onwards and upwards, aye.
John
Could be.
As I recall, it bounced off of 0.0014 yesterday - so the jury is still out. And, it's still the MFMMMs, and not the market, that are contolling the p-p-s of QBID.
John
You have such an insulting way of framing most everything you sputter, that I wonder how often it is that someone knocks you flat on your snide-mouthed arse. That presumes, of course, that you have the balls to (a) leave the house, and (b) run your flapping hole the same way face-to-face that you do when hiding behind your CRT and bogus alias.
Chris Jensen may be competent, incompetent, a skilled corporate development person, or a complete dud. I don't know and I don't care. I don't own any ENCI and don't plant to. I started this Board to give the effort a clean place to start, since the sputterings and complaints on other boards belong to the bygone era where they are located.
If you and 'scion' can offer some written, independently confirmed proof that the technology won't work, or that ENCI efforts are not legitimate - do so. OBTW: Dried, yellowed and dog-eared filings and media spattered court filings don't count.....
I'd like to see either of you go there and operate their cash pad equipment. Or, buy your own and take it to an recognized electronics/software lab and get some data - in writing - that says the equipment is currently "..nonfunctional.." and that the transaction model won't work. So far all I've seen from you two is repetition of other people's opinions and after-the-fact finger-wagging based on non-technical peoples' problems with the SEC.
The model of the transaction technology worked exactly as it was described, when I saw it demonstrated. Models and/or simulations can obviously be "..kludged up.." to appear that they perform, but no one has ever shown that to have been the case - that I'm aware of. And, the inherent liability of pulling that kind of stunt, considering the nature of the financial community, would be a "..one trick pony.." sufficient to trash any company the moment it was discovered and reported.
The potential application and uses of the ePay and/or EyeCash-to-be technology were boundless in the marketplace during the Dot.Com Bubble era when it was being introduced. And, contrary to your claims, Harry Hargens said it was workable - prior to his meandering off into Oz.
The financial officers and management executives of web-based (..online ebusiness capable..) companies it was presented to we're interested-to-excited about the possibilities. When the Executive VP of a major online brokerage, or a huge electric utility firm, tells someone that he knows that is what they need and offers an invitation for the tech-heads to get together and work it out - it is exciting. Especially for people who spend their whole lives "..building America.." and making complex process systems work. (..as opposed to those who sit on their brains, shuffle last quarter's paper, and attempt to second-guess what happened after all the trains have left the station..)
It certainly will be nice to see the day when you and 'scion' can buck up the courage to use your real names - or sign your posts. But, nobody will be holding their breath...........
John
That may be an issue to take over to the QBID board...!!!
Tee hee.
John
You tell me ( and/or the Board ), scion.
I recall that you fancy yourself a "..master of DD and things SEC.."; which is what was so unusual about your concerns over minor spelling issues. When I go to secinfo.com, I find lots of people's names listed 2 or 3 ways all the time. Hence, your 'surprise and apparent confusion' is certainly curious.
Fire away, tell us all you know about St. Clair.
John
You really need to polish up your Perry Mason act, applying feigned indignation and using odd logic doesn't score any points.
Many ideas and possibilities are sold to Venture Capitalists ( formal or private ), corporations, etc., to get money or help to develop and complete a BizPlan. The SegWay scooter was no doubt a sketch the first time Bill Gates saw it.
The utilization was patented, the softheads that developed the technique had performed some basic communications as I recall, and CheckFree was hammering on the clients' doors with a higher cost wire-based tranaction system. Some of the early cashpads were in production or on the street, although I never saw one personally. And, there was a working model on a laptop PC that was used at a business/product show in Chicago.
Condominium apartments and houses in developments are pre-sold from models and a floor plan or site plan. Process systems are sold from plans, specifications, detailed drawings and photos in my business. Nothing surprising in that. Client technology officers were going to assist in the implementation - and probably some funding.
I greatly suspect that there were people working in the background to discourage eConnect's CEO from presenting at the opportunities that were made available, because they had other agendas on their plates - having nothing to do with achieving successful results with the technology.
John
Considering that PRs, etc., are typed by different people every time, the minor changes in spelling or use of a full name in lieu of conversational name would be gavelled off as irrelevant in any proceeding or courtroom.
It's obviously the same person - to the average layman.
John
midas,
You can imagine the frustration on the part of Manny and others, when hundreds of hours of bizdev efforts to contact, educate, court, and be given positive responses and confirmed invitations to present to Decision Makers - only to have the HQ '..fail to buy airline tickets, and-or show up..'.
The old addage about 'horses and water' definitely applies.
Perhaps ECNI can avoid those problems by focusing on applications and sales, and not on the daily p-p-s.
John
Hi,
Welcome, and thank you for your post.
FWIW: We don't use "..ALL CAPS.." on iHub as a matter of normal course. Doing that has a distinct RagingBull appearance that we attempt to avoid.
Have a great day, and I hope you make a ton.
John
I am not in the habit of having to split hairs in conversations regarding generalities, midas.
My Dad, who was 90 (RIP), had the capability to start my PC, open the MS Explorer, find the Favorite file for his stock watch info (..that I set up for him..), and get quotes, etc. He also was failry handy with his ATM debit card, after I walked him through the procedure a couple of times a few years ago.
Dad was one hell of a saavy and successful investor, but he still did all his banking and financial business by hand (ATM cash excepted), in longhand - old habits don't change.
Many peope are like that. Their kids/grandkids may set a PC up for them, and they may make good use of it - but they couldn't find Google by themselves without help.
I have some other things to do; later...........
John
Many of us have that capability, midas.
There are still lots of people who do not make use of online banking, in which case a service such as EyeCash would serve nicely. There are still great numbers of people out there who are no where near as PC-saavy or financially sophisticated as the average folks you would find on iHub.
Heck, it still amazaes me when I see (..have to wait for..) a check-writer in the check-out line at the store; considering that I haven't carried a checkbook in 5+ years.
Time being of the essence, it may well be that ENCI can never catch up or capture any part of the market once available when moving money online was a serious security concern.

Popularity in ATV's Powered by Working and Playing Harder; ATV's and motorcycles are the driving force behind the $38 billion powersports industry
MILFORD, Iowa, March 2, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Cycle Country Accessories Corp. (AMEX:ATC), the outright leader in developing and manufacturing select custom-fitting accessories for the all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and other diversified industry products, will be operating at full capacity production through the end of July building snowplow blades, push tubes, and lift kits right alongside mowers, spreaders, sprayers, 3pt implements and other summer products. Powersports Business estimated a $2.7 billion increase in the powersports industry in 2003 over the same 12-month period in 2002.
Labor saving ATV's and their specialty attachments are the ideal solution for the necessary maneuverability and power needed in farm and garden chores. Cycle Country's specially designed moldboard plows, disc harrows, furrowers, cultivators, row planters, and seeders enable an ATV to do the work of a full-sized tractor. Work and play are often confused when an ATV and Cycle Country's attachments are utilized. Winch mounts, chains, plastic cargo boxes, and gun racks convert any ATV into the perfect working toy for popular outdoor activities.
"Our target market of sportsmen and large landowners represent about 45% of the $7.7 billion ATV industry," said Mr. Ron Hickman, CEO and President of Cycle Country Accessories. "We are encouraged by the continued growth in sales of utility ATVs and the growing demand for our products that is keeping us at full production capacity."
Powersports Business reported an 8% growth in the U.S. powersports industry last year. The powersports industry, which includes motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, personal water crafts, and utility vehicles, has the attention of Wall Street investment bankers and groups. It is the opinion of Powersports Business that the "movement of money and control into powersports probably will continue and may well increase."

10-4. Good luck.
Hi Jim,
I hope everybody makes out well on QBID, even ol' Charlie T. and some of the others who don't understand where I'm coming from. Frank Olsen is like a wigged-out third world dictator ( i.e.: Qadaffi ) who apparently thinks he doesn't have to answer to anybody for his absolutely BS "..rabbit trails.." management style. I, for one, am going to ride him hard and put him away wet until the day he puts QBID continuously "ON THE AIR".
The MFMMM games are certainly interesting to watch, with all the secret codes, price falling on high volume and buying, then stabilizing or moving slightly higher on lower volume and selling. I still expect to see another dip prior to the next Fluff-O-Gram; ...no guarantees of course.
F.O. reads all the boards like a frustrated housewife who just received her latest copy of The National Inquisition. He may have cut a deal with the MFMMMs just to try and hold the line for a week.
Based on what the old crew has already been witness to ( for 6 years ), I won't be the least bit surprised to see the currently promised 01MAY04 "..l(a)unch date.." turn into 04JUL, then into Labor Day, then into Halloween, then into Thanksgiving, then into Christmas, and then into the middle of January 2005 when the HQ finally sobers up...... I'll be as pleased as anyone else if the bumbling bonehead proves me wrong -- that's my challenge, aye...!!!
SOS, same old tune, same results, "................WHERE'S THE BEEF...................."!!!
Thanks for stopping by, don't be a stranger.

I hear NASA found evidence of water on Mars. Consequently, I understand that Feahwuss Fwankie immediately took off down another "..rabbit trail.." over it.
The newest rumor on RB is that Fatso wants to be able to add Mars Water to the recipe for making "..Pride Cola..". That way QBID subscribers will have something to blame their terminal case of "..red tush.." on.
