I understand what they do, but.... How do they make money??/ Subscriptions, Advertising? Service fees? Where are the revenue streams coming from? I can't find any info on pricing or service fees.
Or is this just a free site?
How does this company make money?
Guntherfd,
I'm guessing something in the article was of "material information" and they had to. Their are a couple of attachments from the article in the press release. I could be wrong but don't remember them issuing a PR for #5 police forces throughout the Middle East.

ZAGG based off Apple's iphone and iPad sales we'll have a great 2nd half and imo easily beat estimates. We have a 30% upside from here....looking for $7.50-$8 by year end.

Another job posting, gaming artists on ziprecruiter ..... Up to 7 and a couple are for multiple positions.
Good to see one of our partners showing Virtra's simulation systems back in August.....will be interesting to see how these type of partnerships develop over the next couple of years.

Beretta
With considerable interests in the Middle East Region and in Jordan, Beretta Defence Technologies was definitely amongst the major exhibitors. Its pistols and assault rifles being already in service in numerous countries in the region, the firm is now presenting itself as a complete solutions supplier, having incorporated in the group numerous accessory manufacturers, with more to join. Innovative solutions include the iProtect (prototype unveiled at Milipol 2013) that records and manages automatic alerts. In addition to weapons, Beretta’s stand showcased two other main subjects, clothing and training, including a full suite of clothing (from underwear to cold weather, in standard fabric, for training or low-risk missions, and full flame-retardant fabric) already ordered by the Italian MoD.
Possibly a most visited item was the VirTra training simulator. The Arizona-based virtual training specialist has recently clinched an agreement with BDT by which the latter will promote the simulator to its customers around the world. Available in different versions, V-100, V-180 and V-300, the numbers indicating the angles covered by the screens, the system allows full immersion and, according to operators that tested it, provides a considerable level of stress on trainees.
a little more on Beretta/Virtra

Hmmmm.....now there are 5 full time positions open on VirTra's career page.
Excellent news Schneidku.....we've been waiting for these type of awards to ramp up. Very good day for Virtra shareholders.
Is Virtra expanding or replacing? https://www.ziprecruiter.com/jobs/VirTra-Systems/e04b79b1
Question for the board....What percentage of deposit for orders placed do think virtra's getting from their international customers? 10%, 20%, 50%???
What I expected. We've been hearing a lot about Virtras software advancements...This video was posted a couple of days ago and the software appears to well thought out and easy to use.

Probably VirTra stepping up buying shares, setting a floor and supporting it's stock price
BDP/Fisher,
I hope your right but my gut tells me Q2 won't be good but fair. We haven't heard anything related to system installs and have found very little on the internet related to new customers….SO I'm guessing we'll see 1.8 mil to 2.1 mil. I expect a very strong second half of the year and if this thing breaks below .04 after earnings i/m buying again….JMO
In addition to the obvious reasons I have a different thought on why this patent infringement case may have been filed….Patent cases are extremely costly, lengthy and difficult to win. If your bidding against several other competitors and it's well known that Virtra is suing one or all of them it may work in their favor to win it. JMO

Go to the Milo theater...they have similar systems + a hit detection system
FAAC is a simulation division of a division of arotech $ARTX. They do alot of the same things $VTSI does and about 2 years ago started developing a system similar to the v180 and v300.

After the last raise it's now 11%
BDP, Why do you believe the 2+ million in revenue will be recognized in Q2. Since we have limited knowledge of the contract and the hardware/systems surely haven't been delivered I can't see that being the case.
"Read carefully and you can see this is the start of the "log jam" breakup."
Can you add some color to your statement?
Lemonis partners with wicked cupcakes and shark tank star
Looks like HZO is finally moving in the right direction...would like to know ZAGG's % of ownership after this last 20 million dollar funding.

any thoughts on EST II?
Oh boy…..I regret posting the contract award for EST II, I guess that what everyone was holding their breath for. THe award stated three bids were received; Each bid has a Prime and a high probability of a few subs. WHo were the teams? I can imagine the primes were Cubic, Meggitt, Lockheed, lasershot, Fidelity to name a few?
Regardless if Meggitt won or not they were going to be involved...their patented Wireless weapons technology was issued in the bid, royalty free per an NDA to the awardee. Who are Meggitts Subs? That's the question i'd like to know….but for some strange reason there hasn't been any information, PR or news on this highly sought after award.
I know it's stretching it but there could still be a possibility Virtra could get a piece of it this.
I'd really like to get more information or even a breakdown on how many procedures these hospitals are performing a month and what kind of increases or demand are they seeing based on percentage.
Unless we here from management with a PR the .04's are coming
Virtra was not the entity bidding on this it was Lockheed Martin and we were long for the ride if won as far as we know. Lockheed had the clout, lobbyist, politicians ect......
Meggitt Training Systems, Inc., Suwannee, Georgia, was awarded a $99,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide the next generation simulator for marksmanship and squad collective training, modify marksmanship trainers and simulated weapons to the Engagement Skills Trainer II (EST II) configuration and procure EST mission essential requirements. Funding and work location will be determined with each order with an estimated completion date of June 17, 2019. Bids were solicited via the Internet with three received. Army Program Executive Office Simulation, Training and Instrumentation, Orlando, Florida, is the contracting activity (W900KK-14-D-0002).
Impressed that Virtra's is presenting in a list of so many large defense companies

There's definitely a problem with this company that the retail investors doesn't know about.
