I think not.
Wave reports Q1 results around May 10.
we have strong indications of good revenue growth and moving into profitability for the first time.
Current shorting is causing a lot of forced margin sales. That should end soon.

Just finished listening to the replay.
Lot's of positive stuff. Market penetration advancing but still slow. Do not see any cause for selling. Accumulation will have to continue for anybody that sees the company's direction. Profitability looks pretty assured for Q1.
Au contraire: Have been winning and expect to continue.
I didn't get my first real job until I was 24 years old despite a lot of growing pains, part time trial, error and significant effort. For me Wave's last 24 years represents a significant incubation period. Money started flowing for me in my 25th year and has not stopped. I expect this flow to significantly increase with the assistance of Wave's current maturation.
Your argument has no merit. Wave's earnings report next week will clearly demonstrate growing strength. I believe many of us expect much more gasping from your end as WAVX rises.
I agree. Perhaps you might want to send a twitter to those in charge. I would, but have not yet learned how to tweet.
Competition perhaps:

I for one very much appreciate your sharing that communication. It remains hard to focus long term with so much short term turmoil, but this long term focus is now zooming down to a matter of months rather than years. Let me repeat that: Months rather than years!!!
Great presentation.
Wonder what's pushing the SP up now.
Archive now available.
starting 5 minutes late.. On right now

Markets moving up on Mubarek's resignation. Maybe we ride the wave...
That's pretty exciting. Hope there's follow-up in the morning.
Sounded rather human to me...
No, They all gambled and lost. I am, however, quite humored that a faint few continue to hold and taught their faith in an issue that gave up the ghost some time ago. That said I continue to hold 100k shares, just for fun. It would cost more to sell than what this fun is worth.
I believe that most longs are using this opportunity to add shares. I am for sure. The March Q4 report should be quite nice.
Low volume. Typical morning for short players.
I see it as another buying opportunity.
I agree regarding the short pattern.
I also agree on buying on Friday dips, when they occur, which is not always guaranteed.
WAVX underlying fundamentals remain very strong and the best strategy is to buy on weakness. The recurring SP weakness is very much artificial and should be recognized as such by all long term holders. Knowing this might reduce some wavering holders to drop shares.
That said, I like this board and will continue to post here, despite the flight of many others.
I like a structure where all voices get to be heard, especially when the architecture provides a button to turn off the smelly ones.
I would expect more downward pressure by shorts on Friday morning with some afternoon recovery in anticipation of whatever comes next week. This just reflects the pattern over the last week. Good news will come, its just a question of when. Q4 results, to be reported around March 8, may well beat expectations. I continue to buy on every morning dip.
I like the value here. Bear push down on low volume.
Also anticipating good fun.
Right on! And while you're at it please include an American English version.
In 2010 Wave posted 6 PRs between Jan 1 and March 11, the date for Q4 results. Two of these were rather significant.
2010 Jan 5, Wave Systems Corp. today announced that it has received a series of significant license and maintenance orders for its EMBASSY(R) Remote Administration Server (ERAS) software for a U.S.-based automotive company for managing its worldwide employees' laptop computers equipped with hardware-based, self-encrypting drives for the protection of sensitive customer, financial, competitive and other confidential data.
(Ihub #185,628, 1/5/10)
2010 Feb 4, Wave Systems Corp. today announced the integration of support for Intel(R) vPro(TM) Technology into its EMBASSY(R) software, a solution for secure and robust management of self-encrypting hard drives in the enterprise. Self-encrypting drives -- where encryption is built into the drive itself -- are available from all the major drive vendors and leading PC OEMs.

In 2011 so far WAVX has posted one PR (regarding the Jan 13 Needham conference). The future does not replicate the past, but I would still expect some more PRs over the next 30-45 days.
Such is the eternal question. Does a flatline indicate a fall or a rise or just more more flatulance.
Looks like 4 aces to me.
Professional evaluations of corporate stock values always include many aspects of accountant valuations, published corporate documents, and market speculations. One aspect that is not usually included is shareholder dedication. Unlike Wave Systems, most corporations do not sport large dedicated numbers of shareholders (as a % of total outstanding shares). I believe that this alone adds a significant premium to current WAVX valuations… at least 10-30%, perhaps more. This premium, not yet factored into the current stock price, takes into account the number of WAVX shareholders willing to hold steady for much higher valuations, perhaps $10/s, $20/s and/or more. For now if SP is $5.00, think $6.50 and at $10 think $13.33. What I am suggesting here is that for now if you think $5 is a good value for some of your shares, take note that $6.50 or more is not far off. The rapid rise of WAVX share value over the last few weeks clearly reveals strong structural strength resting on base pillars that include 1) the perceived value of the company’s products, 2) the underlying strength of the company 3) the extraordinary potential for growth 4) the large number of long term holders. This is but a partial list. Add in a very focused management, strong government ties, a begging international need, corporate demand followed by legal and financial requirements, and the potential becomes mind-boggling. But of course we all know this.
I do not think $815 means a whole lot.
Short but sweet. Very targeted answers, very succint.
Wave has the technology to support hardware based security!

I am in awe as how you so consistently nail the current state of the WAVX state.
I hear now, though Snackman may disagree, that 70 is the old 50 and that WAVX will likely "barge" thru 50 and 70 well before Greg gets his old pistols back from refurb. I could be wrong on this 2nd thought, but the former stands intact.
Here is a partial Wave-Intel related patent list collected off the IHub board over the years:
The story goes that Peter Sprague, while the head of National Semiconductor (a job he held for some 30 years, and took them from the pink sheets to a multi-billion dollar global company), came up with the idea for a digital meter. He reasoned that digital bits were like electricity in the beginning; i.e. they could get it to your house, but didn't know how to charge for it. He thought the idea so revolutionary, that he patented the idea outside of NSM, and formed a company around it. The premise was that somehow OEM's would include the meter chip in every computer, and Wave would get a small piece of every transaction that washed across it.

The issue of computer security is gaining relevance everyday. Hardware based computer security is a relatively new realm and major players include Dell, Intel and all the major hard drive manufacturers. The general media has not yet caught on. Take a look at the many groups behind TPMs (Trusted Program Modules) for a start.
More messages along similar lines may attract more public attention.

Thank you. And the same to you.
Has everybody held onto their Elephant Talk (ETAK) shares?
Still a good bit of life here.

That's exactly what I did.
