We are having odd behavior in the stock today. As you recall, yesterday at the last minute TDCP bounced back up for a gain of 40%. TDCP had started to go down yesterday but at the last minute we had a big spike up. I am not sure but maybe a MM is working the stock a little. If TDCP heads down again today but spikes up at the last minute that would suggests a MM is faking people into selling their shares low. These MM are a trick lot. They have all kinds of methods and means to trick investors and make a ton of money. I wish I could learn the inside/outs of MM.
Nice to see you too jimk1. I agree with your view of TDCP. I remain as bullish as ever. These patents locks in legal vital protections. I have suspected for some time that some of these big teck companies have been doing the same kind of work TDCP has been doing for years. Clearly, volumeric 3D display is the future of 3D technology. The fact that TDCP can get a patent with more to come suggests TDCP is ahead of the competition, if indeed there is any. Maybe I am wrong. Maybe none of the big teck outfits are investing in a CSpace type of technology. We just might be the only newsboy on the corner!!
I don't have a prediction. My earlier prediction made 10 months ago for TDCP was wrong. I thought they had the TSP a long time ago. Thus, my end of the year prediction for Dec' 2011 is wrong. I cannot guarantee that TDCP will issue good news before the r/s in March/April next year. However, it is a common practice for companies to do that. The one thing I am confident about is the long term (6 to 12 mos.) prospects for TDCP. This stock will make lots of money for any investor who has patience. Good luck my friend.
I see your point but I think a bigger driver for TDCP is to be rid of a Billion common stock shares. They are going to do the split come hell or high water. Again, there is a good chance the stock will be higher by April and there is a good chance TDCP will issue some good news to pump up the stock price.
You are correct in expecting some good news just before the split. Many companies issue somekind of good news just before the split.
As I discussed before, if TDCP is like most companies which do a r/s, they will do at the last minute. Thus, the r/s should not occur until late March or more likely April 2012. Also, they will give you a date certain about 2 weeks in advance of the r/s.
Do you recommend this stock for an investment? I see the stock went to the clearners today. What is your view of the stock? I would be very grateful for your thoughts. ty
You have an interesting point of view. You might be right. Naturally, I hope you are not. We'll find out soon enough.
I have not thought of it in that context. Why do you think the patent application indicates a delay?
According to Google you should be able to sell your shares for 84 cents. What a mess Google is to list our stock at 85 cents! If one of my credit card companies found out my TDCP stock was selling at 85 cents--they would raise the interest rate on my credit card balance! What is wrong with those people at Google? I agree that someday fairly soon TDCP will be selling for .85 --but not today. I wish I could find an analyst who will provide a Target Price for TDCP. I have not been able to find one. Analyst usually will not mess a lot with penny stocks--but some do.
I would give anything to read the correspondence or to over hear the conversations between the management at TDCP and the parties of interest like Boeing. I would like to know what TDCP is saying to them about the patent application. The patent application suggests that TDCP has made a major jump in the CSpace technology. This weekend I think I am going to go to the USPTO web page and try to find the application and see what it says. I am not an engineer by profession so I don't think I will understand too much. But it might be an interesting read. In the meantime I am going to think about TURKEY!!! LOL.
I think you will be able to afford it!! The recent patent application was most likely a milestone requirement before Boeing and others would come on board with TDCP. I suspect this patent application involves the TSP. As soon as the patent is filed with the USPTO you have temporary legal protection for your intellectual property during the application process. If the patent is approved, the legal protection will then be permanent. No doubt TDCP has notified all major parties of interest like Boeing of the patent application. With a little kiss from lady luck, we might get some good news in January/February.
Hello missionsman. Sorry I have been AWOL lately. It's the Holidays!! You know what I mean. How have you been my friend? I have been buying more shares of TDCP when it goes below .008. This latest patent application tells me we are on track. We are good to go Huston! Like a stuffed Turkey, we need to let this baby slow cook in the oven and when its finally done, she will taste great!!
Why Burton, Inc. is not a theat to TDCP. Apparently, there is some concern that TDCP may have dropped the ball and that a competitor-- Burton, Inc. has taken the lead in 3D technology. Let’s assume for a moment that the 3D product proffered by Burton, Inc. is virtually the same product now in progress at TDCP. (This is a generous assumption. There appears to be a substantial difference between TDCP’s 3D science and Burton’s. And the difference appears to be in favor of TDCP.) Does a competitor like Burton, Inc. hurt TDCP? No. There is no reason to think that Burton can harm TDCP’s CSpace marketability. Having two or three or a multiple of competitors in volumetric 3D science most likely will not hurt any of the participants. The technology is so new and vast that it is very difficult for one player to meet all the market demand–indeed the market demand has not even begun to be filled. The demand for 3D volumetric products is estimated to be in the billions of dollars. Thus, even if we assume that Burton is a competitor to TDCP, there will be mega profits for everyone. Actually, it would be surprising if there weren’t some existing competitors in one form or another to TDCP. In every market there usually are a host of companies trying to meet the demand. Thus, there are a host of oil companies, telephone companies, cable companies, computer companies, etc. Apple competes with Amazon, RIMM, Sprint and so on. Just remember this: the technology held by TDCP/OU is protected by patent. As long as TDCP/OU have legal protection for their science, TDCP will prosper. We here at TDCP are going to be fine. We will get our piece of the pie.
A few days ago, I posted this about potential competitors to TDCP, in part I said:
“. . . I doubt TDCP will be the only game in town. I think other companies will be looking fast for a similar product. I know TDCP management said they are unaware of any competitors for 3D volumetric display. I am sure that they were totally honest when they said that. TDCP told us the truth--as far as they know. But in actual fact, I have a hard time believing that some giant American or European teck company is not already secretly working on their own volumetric 3D. Teckies know the future is 3D volumetric display. Why would a giant teck company sit on this new technology and let someone else run with the ball? I think there is a secret competitor out there some where. . . ”
I agree with your view. There is no question that CMEY is progressing nicely. Soon a product will be ready for the market. I think we could be only months away from CMEY actually hitting the consumer. When that happens, CMEY’s stock will no longer be at this price range--but far from it.
Great post hlmerid1979!
This is true. They could make a break through and the stock could take off. However, I think you have to weigh the odds. With 3 r/s in the offing, I think it is more likely an investor will lose than gain. What I do not understand are these big institutional investors. I think they are protected on a pro rata basis in a r/s but still to treat a stock the way this management is doing is very bad. A company should treat a r/s as a once in a lifetime transaction. These guys act like they are running it according to a train schedule!
I agree with your advice. Both you and Lerner. I took out a very small position at .0015 a few days ago and I got out of it this morning. Again, thank you for your comments. I will wait until this r/s stuff is done.
Thank you Sir. The information was very helpful. It appears we could have a r/s before Dec 31 of this year. There also is a possibility of two more r/s in 2012. This is crazy. How can management expect anyone to invest in a company that operates like this. I guess the reason some investors hang on is the hope that there will be some good news and the stock will go up. I don't know what to think about this.
Can you provide any more details? When did they annouce this current r/s? Which 10Q can it be found in? I would like to read about it.
Will GNTA be doing another r/s?
I am not sure if they will commit themselves to a specific number of days notice. However, If they do their r/s the way most companies do- you will get something like 2 weeks notice. Again, the r/s is not likely to happen until April 2012--that is a long time for a penny stock. From what I can tell, the management will take no offense if you contact them directly and ask them your question. If you do ask them your question, and whatever response you get, I know everyone here would like to know of their response. Listen, don't worry about the r/s. No matter how it pans out, you are going to make a ton of money. This stock will pay off bigtime. You are going to be ok.
Yours too! Good luck my friend.
If and when ECDC becomes a viable alternative to Foursquare, then the stock will no longer be a penny stock. The only question is, which I have yet to find out--how long will it take ECDC to be a true market alternative to Foursquare? When will ECDC truly compete with the big boy on the block? I bought into this stock with the hope that ECDC will be a true competitor in the not too distant future. I am prepared to hold this stock for at least 18 months to see what happens.
If ECDC truly does challenge Foursquare that will mean one thing. ECDC-- no matter how small the challenge may be in the short term --will profit from the challenge big time. If history is any indicator, the small guy who takes on the big kid on the block almost always makes money. Just being second choice--albeit a small one-- has a market advantage and a clear path of growth for ECDC. I think this stock will move mucho higher in the not too distant future (4 to 6 months if not sooner).
Low volume so far today and yet the stock moved up a tick. I wish I could figure out what is going with TDCP. Is this a consolidation period or is this the quiet before the next leg down? Has anybody got any ideas? anybody in OK know anything they would like to share with us?
Thanks. One reason I bought in was the level of Institutional support. If Ameritrade is right, approximately 29% of Genta is owned by Institutional Investors. That alone is a vote of confidence. Looks like Genta is going after Gastric Cancer big time. One nice thing about Bio stocks. You do not have to win FDA approval to make big bucks. In 2009, I bought CTIC for .081. I sold my shares in 2010 when they were coming up for FDA approval. CTIC lost. But the stock went up just on speculation alone. I sold at $1.50. Bio stocks are one of the few kinds of stocks that can go up like just on smell alone. Good luck to you my friend.
lol.
I hope I made the right decision. I just bought in at .0015. Right now, nobody wants the stock. Sometimes that is the time to buy it. I hope that is true with Genta. The nasty thing with this stock is lately they have been doing a r/s once a year. Looks like they just did one in February 2011. They did one in 2010. Maybe they will hold off in 2012 and give us a chance to get some pay dirt. This stock was at .20 not too long ago. They appear to have some promising drugs in the pipeline. Looks like a PHase 3 Study is about to start. I liked the conference call yesterday. Good luck to all.
Who is the rat that sold 100,000 shares at .012?? lol
We have been open for 1 hour and only 1530 shares have been traded! and the stock went down just a hair. I am not sure, but I think that might in fact be a bullish signal for the stock. No body wants to sell today.
trabonek707, I hope you are only half right in your views. All of us would make a fortune if you are only a little right. In any case, I agree with you about TDCP. TDCP will pay off big time. I think the longer you hold this stock, the more profitable your return will be. My only concerns are these: as soon as the TSP is ready and on display before the public, I doubt TDCP will be the only game in town. Even worse, are those damn Chinese. They love to steal American technology and they have no morals about doing it. I think TDCP will be in the forefront for 24 to 36 in 3D volumetric technology but after that--I have my doubts. If history is any guide, in most cases, the guy who came up with the invention is not the same guy who takes it to the market and makes the big bucks. Look at KFC or McDonald’s in the fast food business. I hope that does not happen to TDCP. I think they are good people.
I’m afraid I have some bad news for you my friend. I take the same view as Jim Cramer. I am a fundamentalist. Which means I do not care for the charts. I have very little confidence in technical analysis–and even less confidence in technical analysis for penny stocks. Sorry.
Am I the only one open for business today?
Good point.
Am I the only one excited about the big move we just had? Hey our little baby just made a big jummp. Sing and be glad. lol
The stock is behaving very oddly today. Before, whenever we had a drop in volume, the pps went down. So far today and yesterday, the stock has held its own. I cannot tell if this is a short intermission with the stock to soon resume its upward track or if this is the quiet before the storm. Interestingly, the stock has doubled in less than two weeks. To be sure, it was way oversold. Of course, this could just be a consolidation period--with an upward track still in progress. It will be interesting to see what happens. Compared to the 10 year Italian bond, we are looking great!! Lol.
You are hurting my feelings. I am not going to read anything else you have to say ever again. lol.
Thank you Cruz. The info you provided is most welcome. Have a great weekend!
My friend, the worst way to evaluate a company like ECDC is to watch the pps. FORGET ABOUT THE PPS. Look at the technology and the market for the technology--that is the key, that is the DRIVER. Technology is the DRIVER. Don't worry about the stock or the pps. They will fall in line in time. Good luck to you.
