I just learned something. China is is using U.s play book on growth and competition. The breakup of the Bell System was mandated on January 8, 1982, by an agreed consent decree providing that AT&T Corporation would, as had been initially proposed by AT&T, relinquish control of the Bell Operating Companies that had provided local telephone service in the United States and Canada up until that point.[1] This effectively took the monopoly that was the Bell System and split it into entirely separate companies that would continue to provide telephone service. AT&T would continue to be a provider of long-distance service, while the now-independent Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOCs), nicknamed the 'Baby Bells', would provide local service, and would no longer be directly supplied with equipment from AT&T subsidiary Western Electric.

This divestiture was initiated by the filing in 1974 by the United States Department of Justice of an antitrust lawsuit against AT&T.[2] AT&T was, at the time, the sole provider of telephone service throughout most of the United States. Furthermore, most telephonic equipment in the United States was produced by its subsidiary, Western Electric. This vertical integration led AT&T to have almost total control over communication technology in the country, which led to the antitrust case, United States v. AT&T. The plaintiff in the court complaint asked the court to order AT&T to divest ownership of Western Electric.[3]
Reistock. I read up on at@t phone company break up in 1982 . That is interesting with what is going on right at this moment. How china is accused of being terrible communist who want to destroy tech companies like baba because they fear how big they are getting. Looks like China is acting like A U.S Democracy. Well. I'm confused on that stockfan100 .
Pings link to cinemas shows 138.000 Theater's playing movie Doctors. As I scroll thru previous months I see as high as 168.000 cinemas playing a movie. So as I said . I am stumped on my own link that says 78.000 screens.
China has 78.000 Screens
u.s has 41.000 screens.....China is on a tear building more. https://variety-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/variety.com/2021/film/news/china-movie-theaters-reopen-build-more-1234929177/amp/?amp_js_v=a6&_gsa=1&usqp=mq331AQKKAFQArABIIACAw%3D%3D#aoh=16273183317409&_ct=1627318451082&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&_tf=From%20%251%24s&share=https%3A%2F%2Fvariety.com%2F2021%2Ffilm%2Fnews%2Fchina-movie-theaters-reopen-build-more-1234929177%2F
And I am proud of China recent crack down Om Education. The government is barring tutoring for profit in core school subjects to ease financial pressures on families that have contributed to low birth rates. Alibaba owns Education platform Zuoyebang. Tencent owns education platform Yuanfudao and Classin
...how does china raise their middle class if its all about the rich
Getting advantage in competitive education. A poor U.S student has a level playing field. They can get grants if their really bright they can succeed. But in china you could be A genius and be priced out.
Stockfan100. I am ashamed to say i got kicked off stock twits a few months ago. I posted some links and the advertisement before the info on links booted me. I have called and emailed stock twits. I never get thru on phone and never get response from email. Im at a loss why they wiped me off the map. I am not exactly a wild and crazy guy. If you follow twits you will see posters evaporate. I don't get their mojo. IMO its all just run by a computer..

"Love you forever" trailer. The more you compare the more you realize you are out of touch with what the Asian youth want. But that's the ceo's Job.
Last years Youth Romance movie over Qixi Holiday. Chinese romance film “Love You Forever” earned a stunning $38.3 million on Tuesday, its opening day in mainland China cinemas. That figure is the highest single day score achieved by any film worldwide in 2020.
