Looks like the same pattern as yesterday - someone bangs the SP by 0.05 or 0.06 shortly after open and then the SP spends the rest of the day slowly recovering from that beating.
Except that they have never done a plenary session before, where they are the potential cynosure of all attendees. Many of their previous presentations have been pointed out by posters for being a sideshow at presenter sponsored sessions or by management just regurgitating previous information.
That also fits with the announcement of TLD after Labor Day. If they have a read on TLD for SNO, then announcement after Labor Day is very doable.
Thumbs up/like.
A long time ago, relatively speaking, the much maligned Les Goldman is reported to have indicated that everything was good, people were twisting good news into bad AND NWBO would provide a series of positive updates to get the train moving ( I am of course paraphrasing).
I guess this is it.
A penny for your thoughts per year seems about right.
I seem to recall someone on this board commenting a long while ago that even though a company may remain blind, the FDA can get access to the data. Is that a possibility? If so and given the time available to it due to the length of the trial, could the FDA have been getting early peeks at it? early knowledge of favorable data could shorten the application and approval cycle.
Ex's sole purpose on this board is to provoke and 'own the longs'.
While not quite the same scenario or circumstances- Gates and MS-DOS (disruptive technology) and IBM (a big player who turned it down) come to mind.
The acceleration of the work at Sawston and the deal with Flaskworks definitely signals confidence and something is brewing - and it is not grapefruit juice.
Someone's fighting it - pricing is in 6 decimal points!?
A very pragmatic post.
Specially if the statisticians have been working with soft locked data.
Not quite gone. IF they DL next week, they still have 4-5 weeks for TLD. A bit close, but doable, assuming that more has been getting accomplished behind the scenes than has been announced.
My sincere condolences on your loss. In addition, apologies for my abrupt sounding question. It's just that there are a lot of posters who come onto this board and make very broad but unsubstantiated statements.
What are your credentials that world renowned neurosurgeons will accept your calls and provide their opinions? Most are probably not keeping track of pre-market biotechs anyway and so the answer would be - I haven't heard of it
Or is this your equivalent of "many people are saying..."?
I was thinking the same thing this as I read the posts this morning - looked like a concentrated attack right out of the gate.
Now that NWBO is putting out updates indicating progress towards DL and TLD, the FUD topic du jour seems to be patents.
October 1, 2020
Who knows - it could happen (low probability) but most likely, will not.
I believe we did - it was in the 10-Q.
Thanks for posting that question. I was wondering about that as well.
Perhaps a PR of data lock over the long weekend - so any shorts can simmer for a few days while contemplating their fate?
The fatality to tested ratio in NYS is about 16,600/777,600 = 0.0213. That is 2.13%. Extrapolating to the 19.45M population of NYS would yield a fatality number of 19,450,000× 0.0 213 = 414,285. So, what am I missing about Dr. Erickson's calculations that are forecasting very small numbers. It seems to me that he is conflating the ratio of 0.0213 with a percentage of 0.0213. A percentage of 0.0213 would be a ratio of 0.000213, which would then yield a fatality number of about 4100. Something abiut his math does not add up. Not saying it is deliberate, but he appears to be making a mistake somewhere. But I could be wrong.
A very Clintonian (Bill and not Hillary) question indeed.
Same individual who published a Seeking Alpha article on NWBO:

Is Seeking Alpha playing games with NWBO? For the last two days, SA has been showing the day's opening pps as the closing pps - effectively disguising the day's gains. Not that it will affect trading and pps, but just found it "interesting". All of the other stocks on my SA list report correctly, except NWBO.
Long time Vikings fan here and I remember watching Chris Doleman. He was a power house on that Vikings defense team and a good person too, as I recall. Sorry to hear the news this morning.
Doc, I get the feeling that sometimes you tag line of 'Best Wishes' is typed with gritted teeth.
I am sure that as a risk management professional, Ms. Davis has done some due diligence to assess the longevity of this position before agreeing to join NWBO.
Medical Research Collaborative looks like an anonymized group and based in their website and tweets sounds somewhat like P5.
I paid off my car and received a note from the bank that I own my car, free and clear. I have all the documentation I need to prove ownership. I just have not updated the title with the DMV. Anyone searching DMV records would see a record that say that there is a lien on the car.
See how that works.
Edit: 'patient' and not 'patent'.
As release of topline has been extended to establish the long tail and reaching 48 months after last patent enrollment, could there have been some thinking/hope within NWBO that NW may have to bail and not be able to capitalize on the anticipated success of DCVAX-L.
Yup. Twisting into a pretzel is his form of daily exercise.
