At all .... Reminder!
There is no official statement so far from LQMT side that they will be present at the Medical Day (Engel N.A.) tomorrow.
I'm sure they will ....
This is how LQMT is working.
Anax wrote a good article which came out mid of Feb.
http://www.techinsighter.com/blog/2014/2/24/sapphire-liquidmetal-the-ultimate-combination
So what ... no changes, no bump ...
Today this is just a bluff for me.
I'm long!
I've done it already on my windy Sunday. Thanks!
But finally there are no further facts as we know them already weeks before and no revenues are announced.
It is unbelieveable that this kind of people from SA can manipulate the value of LQMT with no really new information which posters here already known them before.
It is just a summarize!
+25% Up for Nothing!
ridiculous, isn't?
I would like to see facts.
Hi oldretiredguy,
So, I'm not sure but I think we see the older one they already have for testing.
I would like to refer to CC where Tom Steipp said as follow.

" ... Tom Steipp - President and Chief Executive Officer
So what I am going to say as a follow-up is we are in the process of taking lot of their brand new automated machines and putting it in our facility, because the one we have got is an older version and all of our future research from this point forward as well as any of the work we do with customers will be relative to that newest technology machine. That doesn’t mean the old ones aren’t capable of doing certain things, it’s just that we want to stay up on the newest technology that’s available, because it’s got the shortest cycle times, it’s got the highest reliability, every remedies gets you a little bit better machine, but again these are coming from Engel and their production facilities. ... Materion Corporation Announces Working with Lockheed Martin to Qualify as a Supplier of Proprietary AlBeCast® Aluminum-Beryllium Investment Castings for F-35 Lightning II Airborne Optical Components
ELMORE, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Materion Brush Beryllium & Composites, a Materion Corporation (NYSE: MTRN) business, announced today it is working with Lockheed Martin to qualify as a supplier of proprietary AlBeCast® aluminum-beryllium investment castings for the F-35 Lightning II's Electro-Optical Targeting System (EOTS).
Materion, which recently announced an expansion of its investment casting operation at its Elmore facility, is the current supplier of AlBeMet®, an aluminum-beryllium composite alloy, for EOTS. The AlBeCast expansion extends Materion's aluminum-beryllium product offering beyond powder metallurgy-derived materials by offering rapid prototyping and solidification modeling to provide investment cast parts with short lead times and competitive pricing. Aluminum-beryllium materials and castings provide favorable cost/benefit advantages for technically demanding customers requiring a combination of ultra-light weight, stiffness, mechanical stability and thermal properties.
According to Lawrence Ryczek, Vice President and General Manager, Brush Beryllium & Composites, "Materion is proud to be the qualified supplier of AlBeMet for F-35 EOTS. The Materion casting technology group is working with Lockheed Martin to also qualify Materion as an investment casting supplier. We have provided casting prototypes and are excited for an opportunity to complement our AlBeMet product line with AlBeCast for this program."
Dr. Jim Yurko, Director, Technology, added, "With our recent casting technology breakthroughs, we believe aluminum-beryllium investment casting is optimal for more performance-driven applications with customers in the aerospace, defense and precision industrial equipment industries."
The AlBeCast casting investment follows a major expansion of the Elmore facility's primary beryllium production capacity undertaken over the past several years as part of an innovative private-public partnership between Materion and the U.S. Department of Defense. This primary production capability supports the beryllium product lines for defense as well as critical civilian needs.
Materion Corporation is headquartered in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. The Company, through its wholly owned subsidiaries, supplies highly engineered advanced materials to global markets. Products include precious and non-precious specialty metals, inorganic chemicals and powders, specialty coatings, specialty engineered beryllium alloys, beryllium and beryllium composites, and engineered clad and plated metal systems.

Just for information from Swiss newspaper "Handelszeitung" which refers to latest iWatch topics
Automated translation from German to English - sorry for that!
"Apple flirts with Swiss watch industry
iWatch The iPhone Group wants to build an intelligent clock. For now, the iWatch he makes contact with Swiss experts: Hublot employees receive mail from Apple. For suppliers, orders are coming.
The rumor keeps for months stubborn, confirmed it has the tech giant Apple today but never : Under high pressure to engineers in Cupertino , California at the world's first intelligent clock - the legendary iWatch - work. Now it becomes clear : Apple actually tinkering it - and has already made contact with Swiss manufacturers for it. This is confirmed by Jean -Claude Biver , Chairman of the luxury watch brand Hublot , opposite " handelszeitung.ch ". The U.S. company was interested in Swiss components such as the chassis. " Apple has been trying to place orders with Swiss watch suppliers ," says the 64 -year-old Biver. He knew of two suppliers who had been contacted by Apple. One of them he knew personally. " The supplier has confirmed it for me ," says Biver. But the name of the company said he will not reveal.
Apple wants to poach Swiss watchmaker
Apple's efforts to the Swiss watch industry but do not stop with delivery inquiries. The Group intends to solicit Swiss watch experts for their own development. So also with the manufacturer Hublot : " Apple has directly tried with us to recruit ," says Biver. Some of his employees have been contacted via email from Apple. "I have even read the mail, because our employees have shown me this . " Opposite the West Swiss business magazine " PME Magazine » Biver recently assured that no employee Hublot had left in the direction of Apple.
Rumors : Apple wants to "Swiss Made"
In the industry it is believed that its Apple Smart Clock will impress the label "Swiss Made". After all, Switzerland is known worldwide for high-quality timepieces. In no other country are there so many luxury watch manufacturers , particularly in the region of Biel. The world's largest watch producer Swatch Swiss brands include Breguet , Blancpain, Omega, Longines or Tissot. Similarly, the luxury goods group Richemont owns a portfolio of watch brands : Attached are Swiss luxury brands like Baume & Mercier , IWC, Vacheron Constantin or Piaget.
No Hublot Gold for iPhone For Hublot
CEO Biver Apple's plans are to understand: do for the Group " sense to a smart clock ' Swiss Made ' produce ," says the man who once refurbished the brand Blancpain and Omega as a chef. He himself had heard " that Apple is interested in our scratch-resistant gold has ," says Biver. According to " PME " I want to use the Apple Hublot technique for the back of a luxury edition of the new iPhone. However, cooperation did not materialize. Anyway, seems Hublot not be inclined to want to want to work with the iPhone maker. " We have no plans with Apple ," said Biver , and it was not even interested. As a reason , the perceived difference between Apple products and the Swiss luxury watches seems to be. The local clocks are known for their durability over decades , " while the Apple products obsolete after a few years," Biver said to " PME ".
Swatch is a low profile
Other « handelszeitung.ch » contacted by watchmaker gave similar restrained. A spokeswoman for Swatch informed on request , we have been in contact with all the major mobile providers. A central role is played by the Swatch daughters EM Microelectronic and Renata. These would make , among other low-power and miniaturized microchips."

Liquidmetal Technologies appoints MIM expert as new VP of World-Wide Sales and Support

Next event in April with Mr. Steipp.

Hi Anax,
many thanks for this post! Great!
Google finance is making the same mistake by mixing wording of liquid metal and liquidmetal.
Anyone for a latest example?

Could this be a good mirror like trademark 'Liquidmetal' is working in landscape?
Hello Mr. Hauck. Could you please give a right picture to the world what 'liquidmetal' is and what liquid metal is not.
Like I wrote before ... there will be no working molding machine with Liquidmetal alloys.
So, yes - it's plausible!
That will be just a show or we can call it alternatively 'post-conference-call with face-to-face options'.
NO, there won't!
But as I asked myself in post before (http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=97914575) why Mr. Steipp will be there when no machine is able to work with his 'hotest iron' in there.
I would like to repeat it the 3rd time today .... it is not expired especially not the secrecy!

Applications for Liquidmetal Alloys
Components for Non-Consumer Electronic Products
On August 5, 2010, we entered into a license transaction with Apple Inc. (“Apple”) pursuant to which , for a one time license fee, we granted to Apple a
perpetual, worldwide, fully-paid, exclusive license to commercialize our intellectual property in the field of “consumer electronic” products, as defined in
the license agreement. As a result, we will not pursue application of our bulk Liquidmetal alloys in the consumer electronics field. However, we continue to work with Apple to develop and advance research and development in the amorphous alloy space to benefit both consumer and non-consumer electronics fields. For more information regarding our transaction with Apple, see “ – Licensing Transactions” below.
My big take away from the CC was, LM105 not patented and that LM will likely not be in any Apple products this year
They are not allowed to announce any parts that will be used for Apple because of MTA with paragraphs regarding closeness until Apple will do. That's it!
Tom said there is really no drawbacks to the LM105 as compared to the original LM-001b. If so why would anyone buy the beryllium formula.
Of course there are some. Ask the medical industry and some branches in consumer electronic as well. His answer I guess was more mentioned to technical and mechanical characteristics.
Tom also mentioned that he believed you would first see LM used in a Medical, Aerospace or Military product.
Yep - and medical could also means Apple as we had to learn in latest days.
UPDATE: liquid metal is NOT liquidmetal
MTRN >+8% right now!
I would like to repeat it .... it is amazing without attention so far! There is something more then just a sentence ...

Here we're! I couldn't find this kind of sentence in reports before and mean to me that they are still going on with their agreement in whatever form. I hope both will announce results and conditions in the near future in detail.
Please provide your source.
Thanks!

I'm wondering why this acquisition took so long ... just because of additional labor costs?
Greeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!
Now we're looking for partners and contracts as well ... who wants to buy alloys from LQMT molded by Engel machines?
Ahhh, understood!
Then this was a misunderstanding, wasn't it?
February the 14th - FRIDAY!!!!
http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20140214005690/en/Liquidmetal-Alloy-Commercially-Certified-Partner
Be pleased to have a date in March the 14th for 'new technology'!
I guess article below will give the right answer and push it the right way up ... more and more!
http://techcrunch.com/2013/11/11/apple-fires-its-ion-cannons/
What we need is a working Public Relation Department ....
Hi Anax,
my English is not that good so far. So, I hope in detail we'll have no misunderstanding.
Great article at your homepage - thanks so much!
Now, a few days later we may a bit more wise about what will go on and pretty sure to receive answers.
Regarding the latest announcements of vendors for Apple especially from GTAT side I'm very interessted in your opinion regarding article below.
I would like to point out that GTAT is going to start production of sapphire glas in latest plant Arizona where a lot of people ask themselves why this plant has to be this huge?
On the other hand we have a cost issue where insiders argue that 1 furnace of sapphire glas will cost about 20-30$ and furnace of gorilla glas almost 3$.
Yes, Apple will have this money for investment and may be they will have the money for investment in having sapphire glas plus liquidmetal elements. But I'm not sure whether this product will be competitive regarding Android-phones especially in China where you can adress so many people with a new iPhone. Ok - so far!
What I would like to underline is the most likely action that common sapphire glasses will consist of one layer sapphire glass (very thin) on top, glass in centre (may be gorilla glass or much cheaper one in thinner dimensions) and another sapphire glas at the bottom side (identically like the top one) with the 'new technology' (Hyperion) by GTAT which will be announced at March the 14.
Advantages:
- Cost reduction (Amazing!!)
- Higher scratch resistance then just using glass
- higher efficiency at GTAT side
- huge plant of GTAT makes more sense
- a big competetive edge for Apple
Do you think your ideas how to manufactue liquidmetal and sapphire glas is also working when you substitute just glass with a 'sandwich' (sapphire glas+normal glas+sapphire glas)?
I guess this is right now the challenge for Engel+Nypro+MTRN+LQMT
Thanks for feedback in advance.

http://seekingalpha.com/article/2062083-gt-advanced-technologies-is-ready-to-electrify-the-mobile-world?source=nasdaq
May be ... but is he the one that could be our indicator of how is it going on with LQMT? I don't think so ... I guess he will just know what he needs to know - the minimum. JMO
yep, yep!
Who will join the conference tomorrow?
I guess there were good times in the last 2 month to sell step-by-step shares by Visser.
Good idea that his lawyer will be paid by shares and they still have 7.6Mil. shares ... what was the price when round about 8Mil. shares were changed hands? 0.01$? ... value of almost 80.000$.
Now his lawyer sold 241.400 shares for 0.3$ per share (73.000$). Everything what comes out from today is benefit for his lawyers, isn't it? ... JMO
As announced by GTAT (GT Advanced Technologies) in their earnings report there will be provided a new technology at March the 14th "... that we expect will significantly impact the economics of producing solar cells and modules. ..."
GTAT will be the common supplier of sapphire glasses/furnaces for e.g. Apple (iPhone, iWatch ...) with a huge plant in Arizona and has been started within the last years investing in diversification technologies just as they built up their potential performance in increased number of employees (>1.000).
I hope that we'll see some side effects to LQMT but honestly speaking PV industry is more forced to be cheaper and efficient then years before. From my point of view this is a very tough market to provide a new technology unless this will be very cheap and easy (reliable) to produce.
Whatever this new technology could be I post this because Apple may also is involved in that by GTAT and may be there is a 'bridge' to LQMT as well (body case + furnaces).
By the way GTAT is undervalued ... still.
http://seekingalpha.com/article/2059383-gt-advanced-technologies-is-about-to-enjoy-some-apple-solar-pie
http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2014/02/26/gt-advanced-technologies-looks-incredibly-cheap-to.aspx
I don't care who's right at our side here.
LQMT has to be right and I expect only ONE statement by Mr. Steipp why he's going to be present at the Engel Medical Days.
That's for sure that Russian will and have already lose quite a lot of money right now.
The whole story there is a huge bug and I hope they will come back to Roundtable again.
I guess european union will pay for outstanding accounts (gas) otherwise 'Krim'-island is going to be Russian territory again and we're getting a new frontier there. I'm really getting more nervous about this then for LQMT.
I thought they will presenting a working (Liquidmetal) injection moulding machine by Engel N.A. at the ENGEL Medical Day Events, won't they?
As attached this sounds more like a presentation of theoretical information and you may can asked technical questions.
Why the hell I cann't find any hint for this public tread at the 'LQMT'-homepage? I mean this an official partner as announced at the homepage of LQMT and Mr. Steipp will be present there.
http://www.engelglobal.com/engel_web/ena/en/2806_4878.htm
Ironic ... you know?
Management starts to keep doing things better ... very fast!
Little changes at hompage LQMT
