Correction. It never was available anywhere other than Thailand.
From World Moto's most recent SEC filing -
We are currently exploring new markets for Yes™ with the intent of expanding beyond Thailand in the fourth quarter of 2017..
Yes is not available anywhere other than Thailand. Why would anyone claim they are right and World Moto is wrong.
Thanks to World Moto and you posting repeatedly here that World Moto is currently only in Thailand we know they aren't operating in China.
I saw the page that said 5,000,000 too. It doesn't change the fact App555 redirects you to Google Play and Google Play has the accurate download count because that's where it is downloaded from.
Sewer the easiest way to verify this is to try downloading it. You cannot download an app from the App555 site. It redirects you to Google Play.
Anyone willing to click download can be enlightened.
At the bottom click contact. Shoot them an email and see what you get.
You can't download anything from that site. It redirects you to Google Play. There is no truth to the 5 million downloads as has been easily proven here.
2 things
You cannot download an app from the App555 site. It routes you through Google Play. The app does not function when downloaded.
By World Moto's own admission in the June 2016 Q, They are planning to expand Yes outside of Thailand in 4th Q 2017. It isn't in China or any other countries.
I don't know how much more clear this could be.
I can pull up the website. But my emails bounce when I try to contact them.
You just can't make this stuff up..
I tried contacting the the App555 site to see if I could get any info on World Moto's apps. Here is the response -
Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address.
<admin@apps555.com>:

Col, I would highly encourage you, TBlessed, JR, Cueva and whoever else thinks we're just bashing your efforts to promote this site and the 5 million downloads, to go through the steps to download the app.
You can do it from your computer you do not need an Android phone.
When you click download the next page you see has another link that says download HailYes, or Yes whichever one you choose. One of these would only open with Firefox I had to use Explorer for the other. The next page takes you to Google Play to actually download the app.
Google Play shows the accurate number of downloads to be between 100-500. As Sujitta has stated numerous times the last update was Sept 2015 regardless of the version you're looking at.
Thanks to Minkman and Cashus who actually downloaded this on their Android phones, we know that the app does not work.
Just in case this isn't fully clear to anyone, you cannot download Yes or HailYes from the App555 site. It routes you to Google Play for the download.
There is no product launch for 4th Q 2017. World Moto's own words: Yes was launched May 9 2015 in Bangkok. We plan to expand beyond Thailand 4th Q 2017.
The product launch was 2 years ago. There is no launch happening this year.
With World Moto's army of 0 employees and no way to contact them I would bet they are making A LOT of progress around SE Asia.
This contradicts what you just said -
'The Yes service has been going through testing and was launched on March 9, 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand. We are currently exploring new markets for Yes™ with the intent of expanding beyond Thailand in the fourth quarter of 2017'..
GREAT NEWS!
If you go to 'Fare Detailed Quote' it says World Moto now has 4 patents approved!
"The Company's Moto-Meter patents have been granted in 4 countries, with applications pending in another 56 jurisdictions".
Alien,
Tesla is buying Vintage Carburetors, Inc. Why? Because it just makes sense.
I first invested in World Moto in Feb 2013. Since then I've been to Morocco, South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, Thailand, Cambodia, Qatar, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Puerto Rico, Mexico, St Thomas, St Kitts, Barbados, St Maarten, Jamaica, Grand Cayman and St Lucia. (Losing track, had to check my passport)
I only attempted to find information about World Moto in Cambodia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Morocco and South Africa. To be fair, I have better odds and more fun looking for cute Britts and Aussies in these countries who are out seeing the sites like I am than finding any motorcycle taxi's with meters on them. I do try, and I post what I find here.
I've never seen World Moto products anywhere and World Moto has never disclosed selling anything as per the SEC filings. I am confident this isn't a coincidence, the two go hand in hand.
No reason to think it's fake news. They just doesn't mention anything about World Moto. The Rwanda PR came out in Feb 2016 and as of June 2016 so sales were reported.
If what I post here means nothing to you, then it means nothing to you. Honestly I don't care whether you believe me or not. Other people here are posting things like you have to live in China to download HailYes and you believe that over what I post? Where do you even go with that.
By the way I'll be in China in 2 weeks. No need to post anything as there won't be anything to post.
It's relevant to note there are other brands in use when posters here think WM has the only available product.
Agreed. I would feel more confident if they had a website and contact info.
It's difficult to take you seriously when you say it's me who doesn't make sense.
I went to Sri Lanka and posted what I saw. I hired a private driver while I was there. I estimated around 30% had meters as I covered quite a bit of ground while I was there and noticed the 2/3 - 1/3 ratio of tuk tuk's on the streets as the metered tuk's had signs. They were only metered in Colombo and Kandy. Nothing along the southern beach cities, nothing in Ella or Sigirya.
The meters that I could see were usually sitting at stop lights while I was in my car and they were sitting next to me making it difficult to take pics but easy to see they weren't Moto-meters.
Colombo and Kandy are the 2 most populous cities.
I went to Sri Lanka and checked out the ratio of tuk tuk's with meters. I looked for any with Moto-meters. None.
Sri Lanka could be an opportunity for WM but it isn't a guarantee they will land a contract. I was there in December and I noticed about 30% of the tuk tuk's were already metered. I saw 2 different types of meters and neither was a moto-meter.
I'm guessing whoever the manufacturer is for those meters probably has a website, email and phone number available to order more meters. That's an advantage over World Moto.
'What's left to convert' would imply that amount is decreasing with each filing when in fact it has been increasing. Your comment is misleading.
Accrued expenses - $540,319
Convertible notes payable - $279,612
Derivative note liabilities - $1,205,323
Short term debt - $18,370
Long term convertible notes payable - $13,450
Long term derivative liabilities - $402,883
Total liabilities - $2,459,957
They would need to sell 25,000 meters just to break even. They reported selling about a dozen in the 4th Q of 2015. No sales in the first 2 Q's of 2016.
Their filings don't show they are past any 'stage' of profitability.
Where have you been? I posted this here on 3/09/17

Lol -
Charting a company with zero revs is good advice?
Claiming for 4 years World Moto has been suppressing the share value for tax purposes is a credible explanation for why they have never generated revs?

Hello
I have a question about how Grabbike calculates fares. I've been reading about how Thailand may be requiring the use of meters instead of GPS calculations.
Is Grabbike using or considering using meters for fare calculation?
Thank you
XXX
Lol.
If you live in Rwanda you can call and email World Moto, buy meters, download HailYes a million times, you just have to live in Rwanda. Those are FACTS.
How do you do your math? Honest question.
I show they signed for $257,763 in new notes so far in 2016.
Something I didn't pick up on yesterday was the notes for $2K - $5K were actually partial disbursements. These aren't new notes for only $2K.
Also, per the 10K the filing fee was about $43K. The Q's are not audited therefore they cost very little to file. You have to go by what they report in their filings, not what Mark says.
I posted World Moto's 2013 10K to compare it to the 10K they filed for 2015. It's a night and day difference in content. They no longer update the company's strategy. Only debt.
So you can believe they are filing because they have great things happening or you can believe they are filing as they are required to per the $2 million in outstanding convertible debentures.
A video has been posted of Grab testing the meters out. Grab says they are not testing any meters out. All I know is I have never heard of a company who is about to change the world kill it's website, phone, business license, email and social media as part of it's strategy to succeed.
At the pace they are going they should have the last Q and K done in the next 60 days. Then the guessing will be over.
We know they have $16,000!
It would be great to talk to Paul and ask him how he needs $147,000 to continue his operations through the year when he has no employees and no place to do any type of IT work.
It appears the app can only be downloaded in Thailand
Apps that are available are available to anyone in any country anywhere anytime. Unless you live in a communist country that regulates your content.
You don't even need to take my word for it. Per World Moto, HailYes is available for iOS and Android. And also per World Moto it's available to anyone, anywhere. They said it not me. We know that it has been dropped from both. Saying you have to live in Thailand and be using a Thai phone is actually a little comical. Something I would expect from the red sweater guy.
I'm guessing you missed the section where they stated they are down to 0 employees?
They are $2 million in debt. The only thing that changes in their filings now is new debt and debt rollovers. Oh, and 6 months from now they're planning on rolling out HailYes to other countries. No meter updates, really?
It's been well documented that Yes and HailYes are not functioning apps. His entire argument was that the Chinese block content, which means nothing to anyone not living in China.
If World Moto's 10K cost $100,000 this one from 2013 must have cost $500,000
http://quote.morningstar.com/stock-filing/Annual-Report/2013/12/31/t.aspx?t=:FARE&ft=10-K/A&d=3e7ba78bb67efe599a83a939b8024fed
Notice how much detail went into the filing back then. How much information they shared about everything they were doing. It even has pictures. Now all they update is debt. Nothing new is happening with the company as per their filings.
So let me get this straight. Yes is only available in Thailand as per World Moto. They just stated that today in their 10Q.
You are still saying it's been downloaded 5 million times in China and Indonesia?
I went back to the 2015 filings. The original convertible notes with Redwood and Macallan were convertible at 60%. I even found one at 70%. Although those loans were much higher amounts.
Lol.. I think you meant that for someone else.
The only sections that are being updated have to do with debt. As for the direction of the company, advancements in sales, negotiations, etc these sections are not being updated, with exception to this -
"As an element of mobile commerce, we have introduced “Yes,” a concierge service where persons can order products and have the products delivered to their address by motor scooter. The Yes service has been going through testing and was launched on March 9, 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand. We are currently exploring new markets for Yes™ with the intent of expanding beyond Thailand in the fourth quarter of 2017.."
In other words.. they are saying Yes is not in any other country except Thailand and we know the app is not operable.
