I found this interesting:
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1109196/999999999709026054/9999999997-09-026054-index.htm
Probably not terribly unusual for a drug company, but interesting nonetheless.
You know, I'm a carpenter by trade and if there were some good hardwoods in the mix I just might be agreeable to a combination of cash and lumber.
I'm just sayin'...
Hopefully I'll have dry powder to do just that when it starts to run. Thing is, I had a certain number of shares I wanted to add to my little nut while we were down here. Looking towards the end game, I don't think +/-.005 is going to really seem significant.
The interesting part is that I sat at .16 and then .165 for a while just to see what would happen. Nothing. Even after I hit the ask I had the same result as when I hit the ask earlier, 100 share partial fill, then the rest of my order.
managed to free up enough to hit the ask at .168 again. Let's see if they bring it back down.
Edit: aaand I barely finished typing that and they did.
It seems to be stuck in a slow descent into subpenny land. I'd love to say otherwise, hell I even averaged down at one point, but it doesn't seem like anything gives us a boost here.
MKA, somewhat OT but thank you and the others here for some excellent charting. I've been watching this board for quite some time, but only recently subscribed to Ihub.
Wow, has anyone looked at the shorting here?

So true. A few more ticks and I'm even! LOL, I'm such a bonehead sometimes...
You never know though. If someone picks this up and does something with it we could both end up with a happy mistake.
Patience has been rewarded for those who were willing. But yes, outside of a few ups and downs there is more to come here.
If that's capital trust or preferred stock in Lehman's I'll take it for .50.
I agree. Most folks aren't going to believe anything they hear from a company on the pinkies until they see it. Having said that, I believe it, and it made taking a position here more attractive.
Assuming that is the same as the black liquid fuel credit program it's listed on accounts receivable on page 23.
It looks like I'm going to need to stand my monitor on it's side or risk neck injury in order to read it. Maybe I'll print it to make my life easier.
It seems like as much as they tried in the past two days, this will not drop below .19. Nice.
Finally! We broke over .03 and stayed there.
I gave it a small hit at .005 and it dropped to .0049 right away. I'd be more bold, but I'm still waiting on some more information. There is definately something going on here, time will tell what it is.
Yeah, serious gut check day for me with ABWTQ. My main strategy is to keep the end game in mind and don't let it throw me. Similar to CEMJQ, I'm sort of kicking myself for not flipping any. Truth be told though, I'm not around to monitor things and execute trades quickly enough. A man has got to know his limitations as well, and I'll admit to not being quite savvy enough to pull off the flips even if I had the time.
Just waiting on confirmation of asset sales and this will run again. Perhaps even before that.
edit: I am, however, kicking myself legitimately for not having the funds to add to my position.
They have cut ties with Plastinum (at least as far as share ownership), although Jaques Mot is the CEO of both companies.
From 10-Q filed 5/15/2009 :
"At December 31, 2006, we owned approximately 94% of the issued and outstanding equity securities of Plastinum Polymer Technologies Corp., formerly known as Plastinum Corp. (“Plastinum”). On February 20, 2007, we effected a pro rata distribution (or "spin off") of Plastinum to our stockholders whereby our stockholders of record as of that date received one share of Plastinum common stock for each share of our common stock the stockholder owned, and the Company no longer owns any interest in Plastinum or Plastinum’s business. The results of operations of Plastinum have been included in these financial statements through February 20, 2007 and are presented as discontinued operations in the financial statements."
It's possible. If you look at the CEMJQ board the folks there are working on creating a shareholders alliance to protect the interest of those holding common shares.

I believe the final decision rests with the court on the matter. Someone else probably has a better understanding of these things (I'm no lawyer). What I do know is that trying to grasp some of the ins and outs of these proceedings would make Dedalos throw up his hands and walk away.
Out of curiosity I checked for NFLD on Ameritrade, got a spread of .1118/.1199 with over 2 million in volume. Symbol lookup gave me nothing. A quick search led me to this:

Game over.
Any segment of the population that can become a repeat customer is a plus in my book. If any member of the car club is impressed enough to suggest F-3 as a solution at work, for their home owners association, etc., we win.
All the advertising and marketing in the world can't beat someone with no ties to a company saying "I'd reccomend these guys, I've used their software and am very impressed".
Like Faust said, we're making this move without asset sales. What will the moves be like when that news hits?
ABWTQ... I think the patience may finally be paying off.
Once we get some solid PR on clients, earnings, etc. we should be on a nice steady climb. Having said that, I like the no BS PR approach that I've seen here.
I bought this stock based on the company and am long on this one.
To put it in a weird sort of way, I'd rather invest in Tesla than Houdini.
I thought it was quite nice of them to let me accumulate before the run began (or hopefully has begun).
Oh and the sealed documents have been unsealed in the Lehman's bankruptcy. 500+ pages, so not exactly a quick read.
buyeesoforyourself77, I have to ask in response to...well, basically all of your posts.
What the hell are you talking about?
I've been nibbling away at these levels myself. If nothing else there seems to be a pretty solid base at .14-.16. That being said I expect this to be about as lucrative for me as CEMJQ. A big difference that I think we'll see is much more explosive moves, especially given the right asset sales.
And man, does this company have assets!
So true it seems. That actually made me laugh out loud. I've resigned myself to seeing how much of a loss my dumb a$$ takes for getting involved here.
Oh, and add me to the list of those who contacted IR and got silence. At what point does this this gross negligence of sound practices and disdain for shareholders become criminal?
So Bionic Tonic will make you giant for a day?
Nice move after hours on the news. Unfortunately I haven't freed up any cash to take a position here again. I might have to change that tomorrow though. There is just so much potential in the pipeline here.
Yes. I've also read various periodicals, books (both fiction and nonfiction), and perused a few catalogs that have been sent to me. While the newspapers, catalogs, and some of the periodicals get recycled, I'd say almost a quarter of what goes with me whenever I move is paper.
Assuming that they win the settlement, how far is the $1.3 billion going to go towards settling debts and more importantly how will this affect Ambac's ratings? They've really taken a pounding in the past few months in that arena, not all of which was entirely deserved IMHO.
Based on what? Or do you just have an axe to grind? Honestly, if you have something of merit to say, be it positive or negative, say it.
There may be dumping of shares going on, yet this has held at .0005/.0006 all week. If I were dumping shares I think I'd let it run a bit.
Picked up some more at .145 at the end of the day after freeing up funds. I've been up, down, over, and around this one and have yet to see what is keeping it down.
Ticker and name change as of 9/6/09.

TMGR is the new symbol.
Ameritrade will allow me to put a stop limit on this one. Somehow I think this automation is what led to yesterdays activity.
Like most people, I do not have the ability to follow the markets during the day with the exception of fridays when I leave work at 11:00. That being the case I often have sell orders in shortly after purchasing and generally leave them in place unless something changes my expectations. I generally don't place stops, but I've been rethinking that approach (even before yesterday!).
My point being, folks generally have orders in and the intraday activity is something they find out about later.
Someone sees that 1.00 come up and says "Ok, I'll sell when (and if) it hits 1.10". Someone else is thinking "Nice run, but if it retraces I'm out at .90".
Someone somewhere has this list of orders on their screen as they are drinking their coffee and waiting for the opening bell.
How much was automated and how much was manipulated I can't say. I don't think it was a DNDN situation (which discolored my shorts a bit, but it was a tuesday and I didn't have any stops set) but who knows?
I'd love to see some hope there, but honestly I've been in that since shortly before the Q (we all make mistakes) and I don't see it.
