Ain't it great, the year over year Vol? The entire sector...
Wait till Wall Street shows up, and they will.
HEMP is a leader, too!
Run coming closer. The big one.
'12 LONG
Flat since May? Buy time!!!
Hemp fields forever!
HEMP!
I've been wondering the same, and believe there is good reason, logistically. Perhaps relations with suppliers/farmers? NC is a good farm state, especially for hemp. Close to end users, making distribution more affordable? Taxes?
I'm sure the picture will becoming clearer on why NC. Hopefully, they are smart enough to know the local political environment.
Outside of what Perlowin knows is a guess, really. But I think we now have a better understanding of what HEMP will become.
Long.
You see, when folks point to this incident, I think, "yeah, seems related". Then I look at how the entire sector moved at that particular time - it doesn't really seem to matter at the macro. HEMP not involved, and those defrauders were targeting other companies in their trade-wash scheme - those other companies totally unrelated to cannabis.
Yeah, folks took a beating from SEC and FINRA this year, myself included (but only a slight loss in PHO*). Lets hope they dont show up anytime soon, anywhere in this sector.
Long. Long. Long. And long some more.... still seeing over 100% returns on my INVESTMENTS, at these lvls. GL.
You are mistaken. I have a significant investment here, and still looking to buy more.
Surely, you meant to respond to the other guys post.
That's what they were saying last year.
Trending up year-over-year.
Largest decorticator in the country.
Long Hemp.
Thanks. Applaud the feedback. I've seen this report.
Hemp Oil Canada (St. Agathe, Manitoba), is currently considered to be the largest hemp oil processor in Canada. CURRENT SALES ARE IN THE RANGE OF $10 MILLION PLUS PER YEAR, with expected growth to $40 million within five years.
"Canada"
That is just one example of what HEMP will be capable of.
Basing "facts" on others opinions is no good. Please don't.
No matter the import/export, tariff, etc, this can be a very promising AMERICAN economy.
LONG.
But HEMP is not on the OTCBB... Or am I missing something?
Good link though. It lays out what really is happening with HEMP, which HEMP has been indicating for quite some time. Their main line of business will either be as a wholesaler of hemp or a licensed processor and distributor of hemp. Of course, they are aligning to do way more than just that, but processing will be the core of their business, I believe. It's the clear path to national hemp domination. Bruce knows this better than any of us here.
Good luck. Happy weekend! LONG!
Perhaps you would like to share with everyone your analysis on the potential income from HEMP's decorticator? When running at full capacity, how much could HEMP potentially gain from processing everyone's hemp within a 500mi radius? HEMP clearly has the leverage of economies of scale. Seems fairly substantial. I have my estimates - what are yours? I'm sure some here would like to know.
We all expected what we got from the Q3 results. No surprises. No one is here to BUY yesterdays - BUY tomorrows! Then you will see the value is much greater.
Perlowin has been executing precisely as he should. Don't forget regulation is a HUGE barrier in this sector - it just can't be denied. Big money is foaming at the mouth to jump in, when the FED backs off. It can't be denied.
Big news on the way. Take it to the bank!
LONG AND STRONG!
Does anyone know if markets will be open Jan 2, next year?
Anyone going to work Jan 2? Hah, I'M NOT! Haha
I would expect decorticator news to come by Feb... or much sooner, maybe with fins.
LONG HEMP. GLTA.
As for VOL, compared to last year the vol is massive. Going harder, each year here after.
Once HEMP has officially confirmed the machine is up and running, I would be inclined to go "all in" soon after, if not immediately. Coupled with the Fed's blessing and rescheduling, which seems inevitable, this company has top-tier expertise and ready to do business.
Are you ready, America?
LONG. GLTA.
"In and out", spoken like a true short.
Not disagreeing with you, but this is more than a pump and dump. Virtually, the entire sector has been a pump and dump, having to navigate through stiff regulations - I'll say it again, deregulation is the play. Hit the cycle. I know you know. Still, 4 pennies won't be seen here once Wall Street enters. Bruce is not a rookie in these fields.
Here since '12 and still getting triple digy gains, AT THE LOWS... that's how longs play. Stay n play, no captl gains!
Good luck peeps! Long and strong.
Been here since 2012... looking good, and staying long! I will be taking your shares, if they leave your weak hands. Keep it going, fellow Longs! Don't let the nay-nay's fool you.
HEMP! BIGGEST HEMP PROCESSOR IN AMERICA! Hemp has over 1000 real-life applications, from oil to clothing!! Zero intoxication - zero negative stigma.
D.C. approves legalizing, right next to Capitol Hill. Free the Weed!!! Next is Fed and big-banking!!! We all know Wall Street is ready!
Long Hemp. GLTA!!!
See you all tomorrow morning ;)
How much Hemp can the biggest Hemp machine make? HEMP will be processing and distributing soon. Then we will see how Bruce's "money machine" works.
HEMP, OVER ONE THOUSAND APPLICATIONS, FROM OIL TO ROPE.
LONG HEMP. GLTA.
HEMP soon to be processing everyone's hemp crops, with the biggest decorticator around. They will literally be printing money with that machine. *waits for "prints shares" and/or "scam" comments*
Industrial hemp holds least negative stigma, over recreational or medical, IMO. Bruce knows this.
WHY IS HEMP ILLEGAL??? It doesn't get you high. Zero highs, thousands of uses, from rope to oil. I'd rather smoke soap.
Keep it up Bruce! Wake up, D.C.! LET'S GO!
Long Hemp. GLTA.
Eric Holder Signals Support For Marijuana Reform Just As He's Heading Out The Door
link to article
Just as Attorney General Eric Holder prepares to step down from his post, he appears more open than ever to the argument for rescheduling marijuana as a less dangerous, more beneficial drug.
"I think it's certainly a question we need to ask ourselves, whether or not marijuana is as serious of a drug as heroin," Holder said in an interview with Yahoo global news anchor Katie Couric, released on Thursday. "Especially given what we've seen recently with regard to heroin -- the progression of people from using opioids to heroin use, the spread and the destruction that heroin has perpetrated all around our country. And to see by contrast, what the impact is of marijuana use. Now it can be destructive if used in certain ways, but the question of whether or not they should be in the same category is something that we need to ask ourselves and use science as the basis for making that determination."
Under the federal Controlled Substances Act, marijuana is classified as a Schedule I drug, along with heroin and LSD. Schedule I drugs, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration, have a "high potential for abuse" and "no currently accepted medical use."
Yet science clearly indicates otherwise about marijuana. A growing body of research has demonstrated its medical potential. Purified forms of cannabis can be effective at attacking some forms of aggressive cancer. Marijuana use has also been tied to better blood sugar control and may help slow the spread of HIV. Legalization for medical purposes may even lead to lower suicide rates and fewer pain pill overdoses.
The Schedule I classification hinders federal funding for further research into the benefits of cannabis. Columnist Jacob Sullum recently wrote in Forbes that moving marijuana to Schedule III or below could make it easier for university researchers to look into the drug's full potential.
While marijuana use would still be illegal under federal law, recategorizing it could also remove some of the financial burdens that state-licensed marijuana businesses currently face.
A provision of the federal tax code prohibits any business that "consists of trafficking in controlled substances," which include Schedule I and II drugs, from making tax deductions. Because of this, pot shops cannot deduct traditional business expenses like advertising costs, employee payroll, rent and health insurance from their combined federal and state taxes. Dispensary owners face effective tax rates of 50 to 60 percent -- and in some states, those rates soar to 80 percent or higher. The tax rule would no longer apply to pot businesses if marijuana were moved to Schedule III or lower.
To date, 23 states and the District of Columbia have legalized marijuana for medical use, while Colorado and Washington remain the only two states to have legalized it for recreational use.
On whether he thinks marijuana should be decriminalized at the federal level, Holder told Couric, "That's for Congress to decide."
"I think we’ve taken a look at the experiments that are going on in Colorado and Washington, and we’re going to see what happens there, and that'll help inform us as to what we want to do on the federal level," Holder added.
"For you, the jury is still out?" Couric asked.
"Yeah," Holder said, "it is."
Holder's statements to Couric on the potential rescheduling of marijuana appear to follow a continuing evolution of his views on the drug. Under the Obama administration, the DEA and several U.S. attorneys have raided hundreds of marijuana dispensaries that were compliant with local laws in states like California and Colorado. But it was Holder who announced in 2013 that the Department of Justice would allow Colorado and Washington to implement their new laws legalizing and regulating the possession, use and sale of marijuana.
More recently, Holder said that the Obama administration would be "more than glad" to work with Congress to re-examine how cannabis is scheduled. He even said in April that he's "cautiously optimistic" about how the historic changes in Colorado and Washington were working out.
"It's refreshing to hear these remarks from the attorney general, especially since the science couldn't be any clearer that marijuana doesn't meet the criteria for being classified as a Schedule I substance," said Tom Angell, chairman of the advocacy group Marijuana Majority, after the Couric interview. "Numerous studies confirm marijuana's medical value, and if the administration is serious about taking an objective look at this issue, rescheduling is very achievable by the time this president leaves office. They can do this administratively without any further action from Congress."
Neill Franklin, a retired police officer turned executive director of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition, also praised Holder's comments. He said he hoped the attorney general's successor "will recognize the war on drugs for what it is: the single biggest problem afflicting our criminal justice system and the central civil rights issue of our time."
The one element of negativity that is holding the stock price back, more than the day-trading shorts, is regulation. SEC has scolded several companies and individuals, strictly in 2014, and it has rippled negativity through the entire sector - that is obvious. Couple that with the typical snail-pace process of our political system, we see time stretches positions.
HEMP, today, is led by a gentleman, Mr. Bruce Perlowin, who risked his time over the prosperity to trade a crop. Unfortunately, at the day, the crop, Marijuana, was classified as unlawful to trade under US Federal jurisdiction. Today, that has changed - it is now legal to trade cannabis, according by state, with the grace of the FED.
Now, Perlowin finds his market has opened to his welcome, and is trying to capitalize on what he knows best, as best as any in the world.
Perlowin understands hemp can be used for: Automobiles, Airplanes, Walling, Brick, Bedding, Clothing, Rope, Paper, Upholstery, Medical, Energy, Nutrition, Construction.
HELLO?! BIGGEST DECORTICATOR OF ITS KIND!!!! COMING SOON!!!!
Hemp went from sub penny to 34 cents in less than 2 months, in case anyone missed out.
September, October, November, December, 2015, in case you forgot. To me, four months, or even nine, is not too far away... maybe for a 2yr old.
If anyone here thought the equipment would be bought and moved overnight, you wouldn't find a job at your local [insert fast food chain]
CHEERS FOLKS! THE GOOD NEWS JUST KEEPS ON COMING.
LONG HEMP. GLTA.
Executing strategic objectives is most important. Filing paper work, which take resources, is an auxiliary task. BUS101.

•Marijuana use affects the developing brain. A recent study in Brain reveals impairment of the development of structures in some regions of the brain following prolonged marijuana use that began in adolescence or young adulthood.[1] Marijuana use is associated with cognitive impairment, including lower IQ among adult chronic users who began using marijuana at an early age.[2]
Let everyone here know what DOES NOT affect the developing brain, and this point might have merit. [Anecdote] Barak Obama, aka "THE MOST POWERFUL MAN IN THE WORLD", our Commander in Chief, THE President of the United States of America, used Marijuana at an early age. He's doing ok, and is just one example.
•Substance use in school age children has a detrimental effect on their academic achievement. Students who received earned D’s or F’s were more likely to be current users of marijuana than those who earned A’s (45% vs. 10%).[3]
This point was essentially another way of phrasing the 1st bullet point. Also, it would seem their statistics could be highly subjective - see New Trier High School, Winnetka, Illinois
•Marijuana is addictive. Estimates from research suggest that about 9 percent of users become addicted to marijuana. This number increases to about 17 percent among those who start young and to 25-50 percent among people who use marijuana daily.[4]
Addictive - absolutely false. Habit forming - likely. Heroin is addictive. Water is addictive. Addictions can be determined good or bad, case by case.
•Drugged driving is a threat to our roadways. Marijuana significantly impairs coordination and reaction time and is the illicit drug most frequently found to be involved in automobile accidents, including fatal ones.[5]
Ok... any form of impaired driving is NOT safe, and just plain stupid. However, I would prefer operating a motorized vehicle after having consumed 20 joints (although, I probably wouldn't, due to how fabulously stoned I'd be), than take 20 shots of vodka and try hard just to start the engine. Senior citizens are a greater threat.
I agree. With the real pumpers out, Wall Street will find this sector more credible.
I've spoken to a lawyer with credible experience, who works with a prestigious firm here in Chicago, and who I genuinely trust. Her sentiment: "The SEC doesn't appreciate the impact of what they do."
Yet - The mission of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is to protect investors, maintain fair, orderly, and efficient markets, and facilitate capital formation.
Who is auditing the SEC?
Thanks.
- Taxpayer
There IS a market being made here. He sells shares so he can execute strategic business operations. Helps grow the company, offering shareholders an opportunity for good returns, if executed.
His exchange is selling processed hemp, in return for money. You know, with all the hemp they'll be processing, they'll have a lot of raw product surplus - leftovers, yay! Hemp can sell that, too!
However, I strongly doubt Hemp is striving for "store front" presence. They'll have product on the shelf at your local store... but they won't own the store. He just bought the biggest decorticator around... he's "laid his chips."
Smuggling is hustling. The difference is smugal'n is illegal.
Good luck to you.
.... (CON'T) I mean, Perlowin must have thought everyone was crazy sending him to prison for appreciating the cannabis plant so much, and knowing how to make a boat load of money with it.
If anyone knows this trade it's Perlowin.
Good luck, folks!
He also rediscovered there happens to be a real and (soon to be) legitimate emerging market ;)
Who's the captain of the ship?
Perlowin is not your Fortune 500 Banking CEO... he is the Fortune 500 CANNABIS CEO. I will agree he is a bit "old school", but I'm not gonna knock the Capitan off the boat.
Bruce is selling you shares to build a business. He now has a huge a$$ hemp processing machine, and partnerships all over the globe. He needs to move the equipment, so he can process the hemp his buddies send him, so his buddies (and Hemp) can sell REAL products. Repealing the federal prohibition will help everyone sell to: auto-manufacturers, contractors, builders, grocers, tailors, and you!
The proof is in the pudding. His efforts, along with deregulation, WILL AND MUST PAY OFF!!!
Don't let 'em take your Long position, folks! The start has only begun.
LONG HEMP. GLTA.
If I were a commercial farmer, and I had a bunch of industrial-grade hemp in my fields, where do I go to get it processed?
Oh wait...
LONG HEMP. GLTA.
You and I both know Hemp cereal would be off the charts, literally.
Enjoy your reply.
LONG and STRONG
Yea, I love you all, but day traders are crazy.
Let me refresh some Long sense:
1) Washington's 1st month results will play here. (As if I needed to remind everyone, (1) Cannabis = Hemp + MariJ, and (2) everyone plays with the same Big Sam playbook.
2) Washington + Colorado results will play a major role on how the political game carries on through to Nov.
3) If you will recall, beginning Sept '13, there was heavy trade volume. IMO, I believe there are two factors connected: 1) it was precisely the time Illinois joined the legal Cannabis race (mainly mmj, but still hugely significant), and 2) true Investors (Longs) who bought in at that time will be looking for a good profit-taking, RIGHT BEFORE ELECTIONS!!!!
Lastly, EVERY COMPANY "PUMPS"... again, EVERY BUSINESS KNOWN TO THE HUMAN RACE PUMPS ALL THE TIME. "Pumping", aka PR's, are totally OK for the promotion of a company's ability to create awareness. "Dumping", as many here come to claim, can play negatively, but, please, COME WITH CINCLUSIVE EVIDENCE SHOWING SOMEONE IS DUMPING ILLEGALLY, OR YOU HOLD NO CREDIBILITY. I'VE SEEN Z-E-R-O EVIDENCE TO ANY OF THE "DUMP" CLAIMS.
Illinois on deck - http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/chi-lawmakers-expected-to-finalize-medical-pot-rules-today-20140715,0,3469973.story - Taking applications in September!
Let's not lose sight of the macro! I've heard number-crunching may cause blindness.
Sorry for being lazy, but does anyone readily have insight on how much hemp product the decorticator processes, start to finish? I know it's the "biggest", and it looked really big....
If not, I'll look further, later. I know that video has a lot of detail... the 'ole "long day at the office". TIA.
LONG HEMP. GLTA.
I hope so, too. Let's face it, if it weren't for the fact that the taxman is looking out for its own taxable interests, cannabis would have never been illegal. This is their idea of a test-market. Unfortunately, Capital Hill won't open the gates to Mordor overnight, and the Monsanto-like eyes are always watching.
:)
Good luck folks. Those seeds are getting real cozy underground.
Regarding Monsanto-
It's like David vs Goliath. But consider this - states on 2014 farm bill, legal to farm hemp:
California, Colorado, Kentucky, Maine, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, Vermont, Washington, and West Virginia
Monsanto US offices:
http://www.monsanto.com/whoweare/pages/unitedstates.aspx
Clearly, more at work. Banking will arrive in some form, in due time.
Steady as she goes, mates. 4's will be a frenzy, if that's where we are heading. Full bloom mid summer.
LONG HEMP. GODSPEED.
If the SEC is wrong in their suspension, and after so much negative repercussion, do we get to sue them?
TIA
The recent purchase made by Hemp, Inc. (OTC:HEMP) not only included the machinery, but also included roughly 15 million pounds of raw and processed kenaf which can be sold to the automotive, paper, oil drilling, textile industries and as construction materials.
15 million pounds is 6,803,885.55 kilograms, or 194.40x the amount of fiber produced by China grow. Not to mention they now have machines to process more! Good deal!
Anyone know what the price per weight (wholesale) is for kenaf? TIA!
