Closed $PSMT 85-80 Put Spreads for $140 income and 70% from the premium.
Should close worthless for 100% income but I'm moving on

$RAX -
Sell 10 $RAX 43-47 Dec14 Call Spreads for 15% insurance to the upside and $350 premium
Good Morning everyone.
Today I will write call spreads on $RAX and on $YHOO.
I will also write Iron Condors on $AAPL.
All trades from today will be for December 2014 expiration.
i'll update as soon as it's filled
Thank you. that is exactly what I am doing in the past few years.
I prefer less risk on 100% income on each trade.

The IV is lower than HV so it didn't go to the next stage in my formula, which means that you get a low premium on this and there are other options that are better than this one.
Doesn't mean it's not a good trade, just mean I won't do it.
I hope you will win
Hello Asher,
First option to write naked puts I would never do no matter how attractive it is.
Second option I just checked and my math formula told me not to trade on $HLF at all so I will pass.
Doesn't mean you won't make money, just mean it's not a good trade for me to do according to the math so I will pass

Ok I need a little help from someone
I want to post a picture of summary of the month and I want to do it on a weekly basis, but after almost two hours I couldn't do it! :)
So if anyone knows how to add a stupid picture to the intro board and would like to help me out, please either let me know that you can do it or maybe I'll put you as manager to do stuff like that as well.
Thanks in advance for all the future help from you guys but I can't post update results on the board intro since I don't know how to :)
Guess I'll stick with making money :)
Please help :)

That's what I'm here for :)
Tell your friends about me so I will have more followers on twitter and get more exposure to people that want to be rich.
Have a good weekend :)
just closed a wonderful $FSLR 62.5-65 Call spreads for $288 profit and 80% cash on the premium in 24 hours. :)
Closed $AMZN 300-290 Put spred for a loss of $185.
It could go above $300 by expiration for 100% income but I don't want to take chances
Closed my 75-72.5 Put Spreads on $FB for a small loss of $135.
Again, should go above 75 but I don't want to risk it
Summary of open trades before the weekend -
Summary - Open positions in the money- $CAT $COH $PSMT $SBUX $BIDU $CSCO $FEYE $ICE $VZ $BOFI $AOL $RIG $AMAT
Losing - $MCD $TWTR $KORS
That is true and it's not worth to sell spreads with small premium for this reason and a few others :)
Hey man,
Yes they allow to choose call spreads and then it's one commision for two trades and also an option to choose iron condors which are two apreads at a price of one spread fee.
I have special rate fee with them because of my balance I have and had with them in the past.
But the fees for most if not all regulated brokers in america such as etrade and all major others are the same and you pay one fee per spread and I hope one fee per condor.
I was thinking about doing this and I'm waiting to close all my Nov14 positions and then post one picture with the trades and the results of those trades :)
Hey there,
from math point of view I just checked and the trade is ok to make, however the safe side is for 11% up so a better trade would be 70-75 but then the premium is very low on this one.
So your trade makes sense at some parameters and I hope you will make money on it. for me it's a little risky your strike prices so I won't take it.
doesn't mean you want make money on it :)

$FB -
Closed my 75-72.5 Put Spreads on $FB for a small loss of $135.
Again, should go above 75 but I don't want to risk it
$FSLR
just closed a wonderful $FSLR 62.5-65 Call spreads for $288 profit and 80% cash on the premium in 24 hours. :)
Well I am doing a track of each win and loss and I'm planning to post it each month by the expiration date no matter win or lose but hopefully more wins :)
what do you mean at intro? is this a website or some sort? right now I just use an excel sheet.
And no it's not I might hire a secretary in the future to do those stuff for me lol :)
Poster for what, again I don't understand your french buddy :)

$AMZN
Closed $AMZN 300-290 Put spred for a loss of $185.
It could go above $300 by expiration for 100% income but I don't want to take chances
It's not just the Beta, the Beta is only one factor in the whole aspect of choosing a trade.
it's because that the strike prices are far apart for most of those stocks and also very wide spread on the bid/ask per strike.
I see for your stock that it has good strike prices but from my math point of view I just looked at it and it fails in the IV ratio so I wouldn't take the trade even if it was above $20.
Doesn't mean you won't make money, just mean I wouldn't take the trade
Good morning,
Well it depends on the the stock and depends on the credit you will get and depends if it's even a good stock to sell today.
I myself won't open any trades today but I will close some of my open trades.
I've looked all morning and haven't found anything good to sell today so I'll wait for Monday.
You can open trades for Dec today as well if you find something good, I just didn't find any so I will close some of my positions instead.
Each one has his own methods and as long as money comes in, it's all good :)
I might in the future open a website and sell my matematical calculations to people and maybe also teach and educate others but I don't know if people will want it and if so what will be the price for them to pay for such lucrative service.
for now I'm giving away everything for free since I don't need the money, I'm only doing this as it's my passion and I want to give back and teach other people how to sell options and become rich with time from this.
Good luck to you with your spread, I hope you will make money.
I wouldn't take the trade since the stock price is less than $20 and it's one of my rules for selling options - $20 and up stocks.
my twitter is @selling_options
Morning everyone.
14 days left till Nov14 expiration and that means I will move on to sell Dec14 spreads and condors from now on.
It's a slow day so I will close some positions that I have and starting Monday will sell for Dec14 for a nice premium since it's 6 weeks ahead of time that means premiums will be very high on some stocks.
And just as F.Y.I
Most of the time decay of the options I have sold will happen during today till end of next week. So I'll close all of my position for Nov14 during the next 7 days.

Hi there,
Well I'm using a very specific matematical formula which I've learned during my Finance MBA time and the calculations tells me exactly which strikes to take no matter if it's 3% like $DUK condor I wrote or 25% far from the share price like $HLF that I closed for profit in 24 hours.
It's all math and what the calculations dictates me to take or not to take trades at all even with 30% out of the share price like with $NFLX for example that I didn't take the trade and it went down around 25% one day after I wanted to take it and math told me not to.
I take the feelings and emotions out of the picture.
Regarding time it's another variable in the calculation I'm doing before placing a trade but as a general rule I don't like to open trades at 14 days or less from expiry just to stay on the safe side.
It's not 100% winnings all the time but it helped me be financially secure by selling options in the last few years.
Feel free to follow me on twitter where I post my trades live before I go to Ihub
Hope this helps
Ziv
Hi there,
That's ok my friend. most people like you and me started out with options buying and if people would see the results for long term they should move on to option selling and focus only on that.
I hope you will have a great experience and you will make allot of money for the long run by selling options.
Feel free to follow me on twitter where I post my trades live and not in a short delay like in here.
:)
$F -
Closed my Put Spreads for $60 Profits and 23% income on the premium.
I think $F will go up but also wanted to take money off the table.

FYI #Option Traders -
if you think that time decay over the weekend, it's a common mistake. time decay already pricing in the weekends.
So if you are planning to close your spreads on Monday and enjoy the weekend decay, most of the time decay of the weekend usually going on right around this time till Friday closing bell and not on Monday morning.
Just a tip to help you out guys and girls
I'm 99% sure that all the brokers wants margin account in order to sell options.
:)
Hey there and feel free to ask anything you like.
So first of all I would tell you not to start trading iron condors but to start if you want of course to trade on either call spreads or put spreads.
If you want you can maybe do 1 $FSLR spread to get a feel of how spreads works.
After you did some spreads and understood better you can then move into iron condors which are little more complicated but still ok.
I might in the future open a website and educate people all about selling options but I don't know if there will be demand for this and how it will work so who knows.
Regarding what you asked, it depends on some factors including what is your total balance, what is your current stock options buying power, what is your current option buying power, how aggressive is your broker by letting you sell options if he even let's you, and I'm almost certain that you will need a margin account and level 3-4 in selling options instead of the default of 1-2 levels.
Best way is to contact your broker customer support and ask the specific reason why you can't sell options.
You don't need allot in your account in order to sell 1 spread or one condor.
In order to sell 25 $AMAT iron condors for example I needed a maximum of around $1,800 on my margin account of 100k balance.
What is your balance maybe it's very little, I also think you need something like $2,000 minimum balance at some brokers in order to sell options .
I hope this helps and feel free to ask me anything and also follow my twitter feed.
$AMAT -
Sell 25 $AMAT $20-$25.5 Nov14 Iron Condors for a juicy $750 premium.
Sell $21 Put Buy 20 Put
Sell $24.5 Call Buy $25.5 Call
You too buddy :)
Hey Asher how are you?
Please follow the selling_options board. it's a board I've opened where I post my trades when I take them and when I sell them.
Regarding $TSLA I agree with you and I think it will expire most likely worthless for 100% income but I have my own set of rules that I use.
Yesterday I added 5 spreads to the 197.5-192.5 already 5 spreads I took last week. The expiry was Nov14 which is two weeks from now. and I averaged 0.48 per credit and I had 10 contracts so $480 total but I closed with almost 60% from this as per my rules.
You can follow me on twitter where I post my trades live and you can follow the board I made to see the trades in a delay of a few moments.

$CR - 75% Profit
Closed my $CR 60-55 Put spreads for $150 and 75% income on the premium
$FSLR -
Sell 8 $FSLR $62.5-$65 Nov14 Call Spreads for $360 premium
$FSLR -
Sell 8 $FSLR $62.5-$65 Nov14 Call Spreads for $360 premium
$TSLA closed put spreads for 58% profit and $278 income.
This one will close worthless most likely but I've reached my target so I'm closing and moving on.
If you are in it, you can stay till the end and get 100% income on the premium but it's another two weeks of risk that maybe something could happen so I'm moving on with the cash in my account.
I hope you guys made money on this one, it was just too easy yesterday not to write puts on this one.
