Hey there and feel free to ask anything you like.

So first of all I would tell you not to start trading iron condors but to start if you want of course to trade on either call spreads or put spreads.
If you want you can maybe do 1 $FSLR spread to get a feel of how spreads works.
After you did some spreads and understood better you can then move into iron condors which are little more complicated but still ok.

I might in the future open a website and educate people all about selling options but I don't know if there will be demand for this and how it will work so who knows.

Regarding what you asked, it depends on some factors including what is your total balance, what is your current stock options buying power, what is your current option buying power, how aggressive is your broker by letting you sell options if he even let's you, and I'm almost certain that you will need a margin account and level 3-4 in selling options instead of the default of 1-2 levels.

Best way is to contact your broker customer support and ask the specific reason why you can't sell options.

You don't need allot in your account in order to sell 1 spread or one condor.

In order to sell 25 $AMAT iron condors for example I needed a maximum of around $1,800 on my margin account of 100k balance.

What is your balance maybe it's very little, I also think you need something like $2,000 minimum balance at some brokers in order to sell options .

I hope this helps and feel free to ask me anything and also follow my twitter feed.
