It's of the gross. From the 1/5/17 Quarterly Report: "Bellissima is obligated to pay the Bellissima Licensor a Royalty Fee equal to 10% of monthly gross sales of Bellissima Brand products payable monthly."
Let me clarify. If "there is not a whole lot of variation among Proseccos" (your phrasing), then being at the right price is important. I don't believe people would spend extra money for no discernible taste benefit.
I am aware of one other organic Prosecco. Mionetto makes it. There may be others. Sugar free? Beats me.
Thanks for a thoughtful and knowledgeable post. I strongly agree that the $19.99 price point might not be sustainable. The Brinkley cachet and bottle design might be sufficient to generate an initial purchase and perhaps a second one, but Prosecco drinkers are not renown for the sophistication of their palates. If they can purchase three bottles of Ruffino/La Marca for the price of two Bellissima, that is the route they will eventually go.
I believe it to be a legitimate business enterprise that could provide a great return for investors, BUT there's a long way to go. ICNB averaged sales of 875 cases per week during the last eight weeks of 2016. I'll be most interested to see what January sales were.
Go to Shangri-La and hook a left.
"I mean those who know what the hell they're doing"...Actually, that's who I meant too.
I question just how much penny stock money qualifies as being "smart $" but that is probably a topic for another day and another board.
"Next leg up will be to .05-.06 and will hold .035 as support"....I hope you are right.
Indeed, we should. Some hard numbers from the company will be most welcome when we get them.
NO ONE? How extraordinary.
I don't think that this is a pump and dump at least not on the company's part.
No, my cost basis is much lower than $.03. I simply think that unrealistic valuations might soothe the soul but they hurt the play.
"Think about the future." Right now, I'm focused on why it can't hold onto the $.03 mark. At this stage, $.73 "Fundamental Valuations" are nothing more than eye candy.
An edited repost of Asyp's original: ".73+ is NOT a realistic valuation at this point...there are gross inaccuracies in it, he makes it sound good but frankly it's not a good number...for one he uses the retail $ @ 19.99/bottle, well guess what we arent a retailer...$/bottle is more likely $7-$10...
Oh, they will not want to hear that.
Agreed. It's much more competitive at $16.98 (although it remains high end even at that price). I just didn't think it could retail that low.
"..retails for $16.98." That's interesting.
Perhaps obeop will stop by at some point and unravel this mystery.
Look at the post number sequence from yesterday. Between noon and 7:00 PM, there were a grand total of four posts removed (#58532, #58539, #58562 and #58565). I checked with Admin. None of those four was from obeop.
You might have something there.
"BELISSIMA PRESECCO" 0 for 2.
"...here are some facts. ICNB is a .20 cent plus stock IMO!"
Words fail me.
There also appears to be a noteworthy Primal Lust for Christie contingent invested in the stock, but I'm at somewhat of a loss to quantify their influence on the stock price. It's an interesting play for sure.
"this can run MUCH higher on irrational exuberance and ignorance".....
Then we should be all set.
Actually, I do own the stock, but the idea that Chilled Magazine has a circulation of 37 million is preposterous.
No, they don't. #msg-127871552
Thanks, but I'm not looking for a subscription. However, I would like to know the circulation, something I haven't been able to determine.
Fox News doesn't appear to be impressed with Chilled:
"Christie Brinkley posed for the cover of something called Chilled magazine (above), presumably because they wrote a glowing featuring on her signature line of Bellissima prosecco. That said, we can only assume Chilled magazine is a fake publication somebody created solely for the purpose of meeting Christie Brinkley, because what the heck is Chilled magazine? And what other possible explanation can there be?"
"we are currently an upper end Prosecco" And we're on the upper end of the upper end. That's not necessarily a bad thing. We won't know until people vote thumbs up or thumbs down on the value. We'll know in a few months.
Prosecco has become very popular in the US and even more popular in the UK. I think that Bellissima will sell a lot of bottles when first displayed. After that, who knows. We shall see.
Mionetto makes an organic Prosecco: http://www.mionettousa.com/prosecco-organic.php
Not me.
It doesn't sound right because it isn't. ICNB hit its 2015 high on 1/30 when it hit .10 (closed at .07).
You were not alone. The page set-up made it a very easy error to make.
"They only reach a mere 37+ million unique viewers per month!" #msg-127871552
There are other organic Proseccos on the market, including one made by Mionetto, one of the Prosecco giants: http://www.mionettousa.com/prosecco-organic.php
On some of the pages for chilledmagazine.com, there is a banner ad for Touch Tunes Media. People are reading its claim to have 37 million viewers and misinterpreting it to be Chilled's subscription numbers. (Click on the Touch Tunes link to easily verify).
Let's put it in perspective. If Chilled had a subscription base of 37 million, it would have the largest circulation of any magazine in the US by far. Ever hear of it before this? Me either. That's because it's a business-to-business magazine aimed at bartenders. To think it has a circulation of 37 million is to suspend reality.
It was in an email and it was a reference to her past appearance on the show: "Has anyone for one second taken a step back and just took a look at one item, just one, called CBS SUNDAY MORNING, I am in the business close to 40 years, and I cannot remember one brand ever being featured on a show such as this.
That may well be so.
