After flipping twice since my entry on Friday.. my average is $1.13
I believe that it will be worth at least triple by next Friday.
Love how the MMs keep buying any bid whacks (just above the bid)
This is clear as prices keep going through at (say) 1.4901 -- since it is illegal for an MM to trade his book (load up) when he can be filling a retailer's order at the same price. Hence the 0.0001 price difference.
Every indication is that the financiers will take advantage of the ANTICIPATION of FDA approval by running the price up -- whether it comes or not!
AMDA
Yesterday, I noticed that there seems to be a higher level of novice investors invested here (based on posts elsewhere). Obviously, most are from much higher prices. I think we were grinding to churn through them yesterday and will soar once the process is complete. They can watch from the sidelines.
Standing by my dip & rip after RS theory.
I mean, none of us here still think we're up 1000%+ from Friday, right?
AMDA
Loaded a ton on the dip.. as I said.. this will be a dip & rip scenario like AEZ$ (RS at $4, dip to $3.2, run to $15 within days)
goodluck
AMDA
Have to agree with you there.. When I first heard the rumor I checked around and determined it was not true. I placed an order at .1011 and unfortunately only got a half fill. I must say: there was clearly something with deep pockets that suddenly stepped in to buy it up away from my order from there... not your typical big retailer either.
After the close, I tried placing an order through e-trade which gave a warning that there was a pending corporate action.. so it looks like RS is for real.
Like you said though, this RS is just about as benign as they come. I won't say that a new low to shake won't be (very briefly) made immediately post-RS but regardless, I strongly believe it will rally.
I was in AEZ$ for the RS at 0.04 to $4, after which it dipped to $3.2 on the same day before running to $15. Wasn't too worried there and certainly not worried here.
AMDA
Well, it is not uncommon for stocks to dip before they rip.
If you had significant money to invest here, would you simply buy at the ask pushing the price higher and essentially guaranteeing that you won't easily get the large position that you hoped to have or the price you wanted? OR would you finagle the price around.. dropping it to shake shares here or there and then scooping everything available on the ask up to a certain price from time to time? The intent is obviously to go long if you're taking a large position that far exceeds reasonable expectations of liquidity.
I personally think that the MMs and at least one of the few large funds who are aware of this stock are currently positioning for a move.
The exception on the other side of the coin is that RFW acquired shares at .175 with a plan to dump them in order to get as much of their capital back as they can. After which they will simply be holding some cheap warrants @.225 that will last for three years. Based on the other terms of the $100M financing and the additional preferred shares that they seem eager to acquire as well, I doubt that this darker theory is the correct one. However, again, there is no way that they could've possible imagined they would simply dump 50M shares when the avg daily volume prior was significantly less. In light of all of this, it looks like they took advantage of their only chance to acquire such a large common share stake at these prices.

Been a while since I posted here and it's precisely because I share your feelings about Banro. I have never been more confident holding shares here and, as long as the deal closes as expected this month, nothing will make me release my position until I see much higher prices or absolutely devastating news.
For the financiers to be on-site for months during a relatively poor quarter (due to intense weather) and to have them invest significant capital regardless speaks volumes about Banro. One must look no further than recent financing to determine the value of something - and this is a sizable, and therefore reliable, signal.
An important point to add is that there is not a lack of struggling gold producers for these guys to dump $100M into! The fact that they appear to have legitimately invested in the future here is brilliant and should encourage all longs while striking fear of missing out into anyone still sidelined or worse.
BAA
QE4 + helicopter money (now referred to as "basic income") should kick gold much higher.
BAA
Got you back, boss.
Btw, this may be of use for your 2016 goal. Copy pasta from some emails.

A couple interesting articles from this guy, and his "lean gains" (intermittent fasting) guide.
http://www.leangains.com/2010/06/intermittent-fasting-and-stubborn-body.html

http://www.leangains.com/2010/04/leangains-guide.html
http://www.leangains.com/2010/04/leangains-guide.html
-- where I began learning about this. Guy seems to know a lot about diet/fitness. I confirmed a lot of the info is legit based on research papers. There are many links to other articles he wrote that are good, like this one:
http://www.leangains.com/2009/12/fasted-training-boosts-muscle-growth.html
http://fitness.mercola.com/sites/fitness/archive/2013/01/18/intermittent-fasting-approach.aspx
-- This guy has a good article which is pretty informative. Fills in some of the other details the leangains guy doesn't touch on. Working out fasted boosts muscle growth as well - which subsequently increases metabolism. Fasting increases metabolism slightly for the first 3 days and has no negative effects on your muscles for the first 24 hours.
http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007%2Fs00421-009-1289-x
just a start but the other article I sent on Saturday has a few more details including some information about how fasting is beneficially for the brain as well.
Generally, the idea is that our genetics were selected at a time when we didn't eat all day throughout everyday. Hunger increases metabolism slightly and actually induces the formation of new brain cells. I suppose a genetic selection for a boosted "last chance" to get food is a good theory. More brain power to exploit surroundings + athleticism.
Forgive me if I don't feign surprise.
I guarantee you are bidding 30s -- no need for rebuttal as mutual trust is not something we share. No hard feelings; it's just a fact.
Glad I loaded low 30s -- looks like you will be chasing, bruv.
Good luck!
WRFX
How did I know you would eventually reply to me (again).
I am enjoying this more than you know. Load me up.
WRFX
lmao, you two should have your own board. I'd be a subscriber.
I have some of the absolute hardest muscle you would feel on anyone!
15 "our fathers" and 10 "hail Marys" per day for a week. Go.
AEZS
Good luck getting anything below 0.0035 or .0038 even.
WRFX
Not sure - it's gone for now - but I'm doubting they wanted their picture taken.

I was concerned about a gap but not that one. To me there is not significant "gap" in the 17-cent range. The high on 12/28 was .1764 while the low on the following day was 0.17
The gap I was watching was from .192-.1937 between Dec 30/31st -- but I had expected the 20 and 50MAs to be tested if there was an opportunity.
BAA
Doesn't take much skill or thought to realize you can take advantage of "sell the news" crowd. Seems rather thin to go back to .20 now -- but if you disagree: by all means, sell here @ .180
Algos walked this down with MMs stacking the bid. If you were watching closely like I was, you would've seen that they had a propensity not to fill ask slaps, many of which were instead filled well above the ask-stacking MMs - wherever there was available retail shares.
Another possibility is that they ran stops, closed gaps, and are bouncing the 20 and 50MA for the chart as well.
BAA
This move is clearly unwarranted. Preposterous move is not due to Banro news. Someone trying to shake and load this cheaply AND/OR some large funds could be freeing up capital to catch the oil-knife to increase their cash to fund their margin bets on oil which they are losing their shirts on.
Still believe a buyer will step in here realizing value.
BAA
Same here.. who knows what kind of investors with potentially deep pockets will suddenly step in to buy this at great value.
BAA
All I have to say is good riddance to those that sold the news.
This was not a sell the news event. Production wasn't amazing but BAA is clearly becoming an excellent buy&hold opportunity.
BAA
The OTC spotlight will be focused here shortly.
WRFX
Looking good! Definitely a keeper from these levels. Easy sailing for a long haul.
Someone pointed out that the recent financiers were on-site during the rainpocalypse and they were not deterred. I am sensing a buyout at some point within the year but we'll see.
Funny how all of our very reasonable concerns seem to be melting away and that's leaving us with a nice golden opportunity.
BAA
Thanks for posting this. Looking forward to this week!
BAA
Expected some whacking today as we shed the flippers -- it's a Friday after all.
Nice day overall with consolidation it still closed up.. barely any selling in the 3s, I'd say they're done. Next leg begins soon.
WRFX
I must say: WRFX trades quite thin (with a pretty small float) for a subpenny.
Recent news and price action has been pretty nice. I rarely get the good feeling that I currently have about it.
WRFX
Just submitted 3 requests.
http://stockcharts.com/support/symbolrequest.html
WRFX
This is setting up perfectly for a major run.
Seems like the float is almost entirely in strong hands now as consolidation phases are short-lived... we ran out of sellers in the 20s and 30s... almost done with 40s and 50s soon thereafter.
WRFX
I am surprised it didn't at least drop into the .19s to consolidate. I really wanted and expected to add low 19s on a minor gap fill... especially since it was above the MAs and BBs for a few days.
Something is happily loading every single "dip" and the MMs are clearly making it difficult to buy this with an illusion of liquidity on the ask.
The chart is setting up with a bull pennant against the resistance. Very bullish now with stochs holding 80+ range and 20MA crossing above 50MA today.
BAA
Brilliant, thanks for sharing confirmation!
BAA
WRFX looking great.. must be some news or something coming.
They got current for a reason I hope.
Nice, that's exciting indeed but It is often the second week of the month. We shall see. I think Congo spoke with Martin and got the impression that we get news next week.
Either way I expect price to rise in anticipation and then fly once we confirm commercial news.
BAA
The article is more of an analysis of Banro's past which is not relevant to our interest in it as an investment today and looking forward.
The part of it that is relevant may be quickly outdated as well since Namoya commercial announcement can drop any day now - the author seems completely ignorant to this. Either way, there is a serious bias which is transparent rendering it a waste of time to read.
I am personally expecting Namoya's commercial production announcement to come with the production numbers early next week.
BAA
You got it. Thanks for the info.
Personally, I think it may head much higher than 0.005 in the days/weeks ahead.

Interesting tidbit I pulled from the link you posted:
"Congo and China: Friends in Need"
https://www.globalwitness.org/sites/default/files/library/friends_in_need_en_lr.pdf
After the repayment of the mining investments and
infrastructure, conventional law appears to apply.
However, according to Murphy, it is doubtful that this
will happen, as the April 2008 agreement appears
to indicate that the tax rules would be manipulated
to ensure a high internal rate of return, i.e. the tax
holiday may be extended or revised in some way after
the investment’s repayment.108 Article 13.3.3 specifies
that: “If the feasibility study shows that the [internal
rate of return] of the Chinese Companies Group is less
than 19 per cent, the DRC agrees to take all the steps
that are likely to improve the cooperation conditions
in order to reach a threshold of 19 per cent for the
benefit of the Chinese Companies Group.”109 Instead,
the profit to be declared could be set at a level which
is necessary to ensure that the Chinese earn the 19 per
cent rate of return on their investment. It is possible
that the lack of detail of tax on profits under the third
phase of repayment is deliberate, to allow room for
manoeuvre to ensure the IRR reaches 19 per cent.
I like what I am seeing here. Looks set up to get up soon.
Putting this on watch.
WRFX
Good to know that they read this and the tone is positive on their end.
They should know that we are looking forward to the future here.
BAA
Great, thanks for the update.
Did you guys discuss the timing for Namoya's commercial announcement or gather any hints about it?
BAA
I'm talking about .1035 Dec-29th and .1050 Dec-30th
AMDA
I can't "unsee" the open gap@.103
Looking for it to close.
