Could someone please teach that stupid bird a new line? Maybe it is just brain damaged.
Just talked to Clayton. Drilling still a happening thing with no new problems encountered, expressed a high level of confidence that they will soon be bringing product to market.
Also said that Maupin is chewing over what information he would like to release in the next pr, so it will be a day or two from the sound of things.
Discussion into future plans indicated they have pre-scheduled rigs for drilling, which most likely means drilling permits are in place for the next hole(s).
so it appears we will just have to bite down a little harder on that bullet and hope things turn out okay in the next few days....P.

Tandem Energy Holdings provides operations update
by: OilOnline
Wednesday, September 07, 2005
Tandem Energy Holdings Inc. has announced that current net daily production is approximately 625 barrels of oil and 2,600 Mcf of natural gas. This would approximate 1,058 barrels of oil equivalent each day. Below is a summary of significant operations by area.
IRA UNIT, Scurry County, Texas -- The Company has drilled and is currently completing the first well of a seven well pilot drilling program targeting the San Andres formation at 1,850 feet. The initial well is producing 20 gross barrels of oil per day and 55 barrels of water. A planned fracture stimulation should further enhance production capabilities. The Ira Unit consists of almost 3,600 acres, wherein the Company is utilizing its own drilling and completion rigs.
BALL LEASE, Palo Pinto County, Texas -- The Company has recently performed several workovers which have increased gross gas production by approximately 350 Mcf per day since the property's purchase in March, 2005. The Company has also staked four new drill locations that will target natural gas in several formations, the deepest of which is the Barnett Shale at 3,800 feet. The Company's leasehold position in Palo Pinto County consists of approximately 4,900 acres.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Kansas -- As earlier reported, the Company has drilled and completed two coal bed methane (CBM) wells at 1,400 feet. The initial gas production rates from these wells have been disappointing and appear to be marginally economic to produce. At this time, the company is re-evaluating its CBM potential and will either drill several more tests on existing leasehold or divest the properties.
TOMBALL LEASE, Harris County, Texas -- The Company has completed production modifications and a single workover which have resulted in a gross 40 barrels of oil per day increase since the field was purchased by the Company in March, 2005. Within the field, the Company has identified as many as three proved undeveloped locations in the Upper Wilcox formation at a depth of approximately 9,000 feet. The Company may decide to find an industry partner to share the risk and the cost to drill these wells. The timing of the drilling will depend on the selection of a partner and the availability of drilling equipment.
Shortages of drilling rigs, equipment, supplies or personnel may increase drilling costs and may delay or restrict drilling and workover operations. In order to mitigate these conditions, the Company has formed a new wholly owned drilling subsidiary, Mixon Drilling Company (Mixon), which will own and operate two drilling rigs for the Company. Currently, the Company owns a rig capable of drilling 4,500 feet, which is drilling on the Ira Unit, and a definitive agreement has been signed to purchase a second rig which should be drilling on the Ball lease late in the third quarter. The purchase of this second rig, capable of drilling 6,000 feet, should occur late this week. Both of the rig purchases are being funded out of cash flow. When Mixon is not drilling for the Company, the rigs may be made available to other operators at rates commensurate with industry standards.
The Company has experienced no production or delivery disruptions due to hurricane Katrina. In an effort to do our small part, the Company has contributed $10,000 through the Permian Basin Petroleum Association to aid in the ongoing recovery efforts along the Gulf coast.

SWIFT ENERGY ANNOUNCES SUCCESSFUL TESTS OF JIM HOGG COUNTY CONFIRMATION WELL AND NEW AUSTIN CHALK COMPLETION
HOUSTON, March 5, 1998 - Swift Energy Company (NYSE, PCX: SFY) today announced the Lobo Solo #1 well in Jim Hogg County, Texas, was successfully tested and placed on production. The well is currently producing at a daily rate of 2.6 million cubic feet of natural gas and 66 barrels of condensate per day from the Middle and Lower Queen City sands. The Lobo Solo #1 well is a confirmation well drilled three miles southwest of the Chaparral #1 well, which is potentially a significant southerly extension of the Mestena Grande Field. Swift has a 66% working interest in the Lobo Solo #1 and a 78.5% working interest in the Chaparral #1 well.
Swift also reported the successful completion of the first well in its new joint venture drilling project with Belco Oil & Gas Corp. (NYSE: BOG) in the Austin Chalk. The Fehmer #1-OL well, located in Fayette County, Texas, was completed as a dual lateral horizontal well in the Austin Chalk formation at a vertical depth of 13,750 feet. The well flowed is producing a rate of 8.9 million cubic feet of natural gas and 183 barrels of condensate per day on an 18/64" choke, with flowing tubing pressure of 5,500 pounds per square inch. Swift has a 39.8% working interest, is operator, and Belco has a 50% working interest in the Fehmer #1 OL, which covers a total of approximately 24,000 acres.
brazbals: from this blurb I found seems the austin is about half mile thick in places. Also, it appears there is another formation 2000 feet deeper than the austin. Here is what I found so far...
"This is a multi-well natural gas project in the Giddings Austin Chalk Field that includes a mix of 15 development and step-out locations. The project is currently leasing acreage and will lease up to a maximum of about 10,000 acres. The locations are proposed dual lateral horizontal wells with target zones in the Austin Chalk and the Georgetown formations at a vertical depth of about 10,000 feet and a total measured depth of about 13,000 feet. Targeted potential gross reserves are 1.3 Bcf for the Austin Chalk and 1.2 Bcf for the Georgetown."

SWIFT ENERGY COMPANY NEWS
SWIFT ENERGY EXTENDS ITS ACREAGE POSITION AND DRILLING SUCCESS IN THE TEXAS AUSTIN CHALK
HOUSTON, October 20, 1997 - Swift Energy Company (NYSE, PCX: SFY) announced today that it has significantly extended its acreage position in the Texas portion of the Austin Chalk trend and has recently completed a high liquid content natural gas well in the vicinity of the new leasehold acreage.
Swift has acquired a 50% working interest in 20,000 net acres in Fayette and Colorado counties from Belco Oil and Gas Corp. (NYSE: BOG), increasing its leasehold position in the Texas Austin Chalk to 135,000 gross acres (85,000 net acres). The new leasehold is located in close proximity to a major portion of Swift’s existing production in the Giddings Field in Fayette County and is also near a new 8,000-acre block Swift is currently developing in the area. Under the agreement with Belco, Swift will operate all of the wells drilled on the acreage, with plans to begin drilling the first joint well in November 1997.
The recently completed well – the Tannenberger #1 OL in Fayette County – is the 29th successful Austin Chalk well in which Swift has participated since the beginning of 1995. A dual-lateral horizontal well, the Tannenberger tested at a rate of 1,152 barrels of oil per day and 4.5 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on an 18/64" choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 4,200 pounds psig. Swift has a 36.2% working interest in the well, which commenced sales on October 2, 1997.
A. Earl Swift, President and Chief Executive Officer, noted, "The Tannenberger well is particularly significant to Swift because of its location. The well was drilled just west of the Company’s existing production, just east of the 8,000 gross acres now under development in Fayette County, and just north of the new acreage acquired from Belco. We believe that the success of this well creates a substantial number of new drilling opportunities and increases our inventory of high-potential, low-risk drilling locations."
Mr. Swift added, "Swift has become one of the most technically proficient operators in the area, and we expect the Austin Chalk to continue to play an important role in our growth for the foreseeable future. We currently have five rigs drilling in the Chalk, along with three rigs in our AWP Olmos area in South Texas. During the first nine months of 1997, Swift has drilled 11 successful wells in the Austin Chalk and 117 successful wells in the AWP Olmos Field. Our plans for the fourth quarter of 1997 and throughout 1998 include extensive drilling activity in both the Fayette area of the Austin Chalk and in the AWP Olmos area on acreage currently held by the Company."
Swift Energy Company is an independent oil and gas company engaged in the exploration, development, acquisition and operation of oil and gas properties, with a focus on U.S. onshore natural gas reserves. Founded in 1979 with headquarters in Houston, Texas, the Company has achieved an average compounded growth rate in proved oil and gas reserves of approximately 40% per year during the last five years, with reserves growth of 47% in 1996.
deomonte21: - spoons?? I didnt know they were using spoons but it does make sense. Last time I spoke to company they said it was going so slowly because all the crews fingertips were raw and bloody. We should see some good progress with the spoons!!
Go tnog!!
rrufff: over six months, a ten bagger from this point may be conservative. Just have to see what they cough up for the next set of pr's. Been a very kind stock to investors so far, company is only improving, no dilution to speak of.
I say hire five guys with picks and shovels, ask for ten feet per day with on time completion bonus. P.
from rb:From IBC
Per Clayton;
Very, Very Close to completion of drilling.
They have been waiting to release the newsletter to coincied with information from Jacobson. Will most likely be out late Sunday evening.
Jacobson to be on IBC Monday (9:00 am pst. 12:00 noon est). Clayton will be on just before him.
Clayton expects a news release on the completion of the drilling early next week.

JT:the reason for me posting that is the hope someone here would listen and report. The posters on rb have something against sharing information if they get it. They seem more intent with playing with the bashers. Here on ihub there are hardly any posts or posters.
If someone does share I'll post here. P.
Rumor Clayton on IBC shortly - from rb
It takes time to start up a company and make a go of it. This is not a bad time to be into tnog. From what I understand from my talking and listening to Clayton they are as anxious as we are for the results. The oil flows into the tanks shown on the site ready for market, and the gas flows on to the collection point or hub.
As he said, "ideally" they will complete the hole today sometime. Then we must allow them time to get things hooked up and flowing, and a certain amount of time to allow some kind of measurement. Once the gas and oil are flowing, it should be much easier to attract investment, and get a number of wells done at no cost to titan. They will be able to punch holes all over the lease to find the most productive areas and concentrate on drilling these area's themselves. In the meanwhile the company will get happening on the Bastrop county property.
Hi Elandil, nice to hear from management of shgy, but I dont expect the pps to come off six cents for a while. We will need something more substantial in the way of news for pps to move substantially.
However this stock has moved up on no news before and quite nicely I might add. Seems the company has a plan and is continuing to make forward progress. From this last update I guess we can expect some news soon about expansion into another country, and the development or updated software\applications.
I will continue to add to my positon as I can in anticipation of a move. I dont expect there to be a lot of float left by the time the next pr comes around. will make for some interesting action.
GLTA - P.
per Clayton (just called)the hole "ideally" will be completed tomorrow. It will be a vertical (not horizontal) and historically will yield 100 - 300 bpd, which makes the report of high pressure significant. So we should not look for a pr for a couple of days.
Hi Folks, tnog should have news today per Clayton. Apparently they have production on new well, intial results good. expecting profits of 150K per month to start. The pr should confirm these statements.
Should be good for a bump today.
apparently he announced about 150K profit per month to start.

Low - its tdyh, you have it wrong in the ibox, also add in amep.
tdyh is hardly a penny but has TWO rigs. Low float, cash rich.
Hi Tree: just got off phone with company, no you do not own your own rigs. Current float is about 80M and they need to raise another 300 thousand to get work done. This will be accomplished by issuing restricted stock. This is per a "John". They are planning on getting a website soon.....Penn.
Thanx tree, starting up a watchlist of drillrig pennies, will check back here every now and then.
Hi Lowman,Tree. If anyone knows of oil penny plays with their own drillrig(s)please let me know. I am especially interested in Texas pennies. Amep is one....
seems to me these may be the ones to concentrate on provided they have the properties. Thanx in advance - Penn

If Im not mistaken, several people emailed suggestions to Mr. Megas, some of which included increasing A\S O|S. Perhaps he liked the sound of one of those suggestions as do-able.

Mm: the wide spacing makes sense if ya wanna identify best pay areas over the property. Would make a second round of spaced drilling more profitable I would think, but then again just a guess. P.
mmeats: You wouldnt live in the Kitchener Waterloo area wouldya?
Celtic - remember we also have Al berta LOL
All set for another week of bump and grind. Hopefully towards the end of the week we will have a clearer picture. Good luck to all.

stockseeker: My chart says tnog looking good. Notice the accumulation that has taken place during double bottom....not a complicated chart for sure when daily static taken out.
From the last week of May see pps and current pps (MY double bottom hehehe)and corresponding accumulation levels.
Accumulation has clearly taken place while pps is down.....not a fancy chart but has served me well.
