BlueJackets, GENM closed @ .0021.
Very nice 2 day return. I never got back in after .0013.
I think why CSJJ didn't run is that with GENM we knew they were reducing 50% of the O/S. With CSJJ, I'm not aware what percentage of the O/S was being retired. That is possibly why there wasn't the same reaction.
One trade today. In EYDY at .024, out at .030. I still think there is more room. With how MM's set the spread SO WIDE, they obviously didn't want this to run. It ran quickly on few trades and small volume. I'm still watching it closely.
SWME did a head fake on us Joy. We called it right on the money yesterday. When it dropped this morning, I was "scurred" (as the my teen says..lol) and stayed away.
Til tomorow, have a good winter's night all.
Bo
AWBI .0002/.0003 wicked gap potential for tomorrow.
Such heavy volume and interest the last hour, but MM's didn't let it run. Sets up for heavy volume pressure and hard run at bell.
IMO, but worth a look.
Bo
Not that I'm aware Rich.
I've tried as well for a period of time. What has always been a characterstic of this stock at this level (under .0005), is that you can never sell at the ask and never buy on the low bid. At .0001/.0002, the .0002 trades have to be 100%, or very near to it, trades b/w the MM's.
In my experience watching this saga that has been the case. Currently I have heard of no one, nor have seen anyone posting that they are able to sell at .0002. Thus 99-100% of whatever is going through at .0002 has to be between the MM's.
Last .25, B/A .26/.31.
Odd ticker now. MM's either caught off guard or some other unknown. It traded at much higher levels in the past and the company continues to churn profits.
Your TLTD is trying to UT. I'm watching it. NEOM is nice today.
Our SWME is up .02. Not in it but still watching.
Bo
EYDY on news.
Low float. Profitable.
Strong mover on low volume.
One to watch or get in quick.
Bo
Can't even open A-trade's site.
It's not a matter of it being slow or not showing current B/A. The home page won't open at least on my system. Going to reboot to see if that helps.
Mach, good post.
Please don't take this the wrong way given UC's surgery over the holidays, but I'm glad there is at least a pulse to the company. Not meant in anyway toward him (I'm very glad he is well!), but they have been withering as each day passes and was leading me to wonder if anything was being done at all.
Although it does seem the inquiry is still in place so the wait will likely be until after it is all cleared up, hopefully soon. And hopefully it WILL clear up. Any negative news from it may take us below where we are now, which is currently nose barely above water.
Good post and here's to a good 2005.
Bo
I've kept my eye on BIPH and NEOM Joy.
They are 2 stocks that won't get the "stockgasm of the moment" like we see day in and day out, but I like both companies and should do well long term.
Peek at SWME. I've been watching them for about 10 days now. I was waiting for a pullback (incredible run up), and it's now occurring. Their 024 pain relief product may take them over a dollar this year. It's gained strong medical support in Canada, and it's just now making market in the US. It may be one to play long term as well.
I'll be watching for the SHRN ads tonight. Seems anyone, any station or any enterprise Stern supports or endorses becomes gold. Very surprised and impressed how MM's held this down today.
It's a tough game we play. When MM's deal the cards on every hand and they are also in the game, they decide who lives or dies. The best we can do is be lucky and guess right. : )
Bo
Joy, your NEOM is making a nice eod run.
Still good chance on SHRN. It's obvious
MM's are playing the freeze trading tactic. On mention of news it began to run to .129 with a tick every few seconds. Then they quickly froze out trades.
Looking at the chart, it is very hard to imagine anyone selling for little or no profit especially when strong news like this was just releases 20 minutes ago.
Unless I'm missing something, I'm seeing it through. They obviously need shares.
News of a MAJOR ad campaign with E and Stern (he mentions the company often on radio) and the price sits there??? Pleease
SHRN news. E & H.Stern. Now! .123/.124

Mach, o/s 37 million.
It's a strong steady chart.
Rare mineral now being used in advanced manufacturing and nano applications. Being the only source mine in the US makes this one to watch for sure. Today's news advances this cause.

ALMI .46/.48. News and Low O/S
It's been a very strong play recently.

Atlas Mining and NanoDynamics Establish Strategic Relationship
Wednesday January 5, 10:49 am ET
Cooperation to Focus on the Development of High Value Applications for Microtubules
OSBURN, Idaho, Jan. 5 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Atlas Mining Company (OTC Bulletin Board: ALMI - News), a rapidly growing natural resource and mining company, announced today it has entered into a strategic relationship to develop high value applications for the unique hollow microtubules currently being produced at the Dragon Mine in Juab County, Utah. NanoDynamics, a leading nanotechnology company headquartered in Buffalo, NY, will begin purchasing Halloysite clay from Atlas immediately in order to create commercial applications for this novel material. Historically, halloysite has been used in the manufacturing of bone china, fine china, and porcelain products. However, over the past year, researchers and scientists, including Dr. Ron Price of the Office of Naval Research, have discovered new uses for the processed mineral. The Dragon Mine halloysite also has a unique tubular quality, not unlike a grain of rice, only considerably smaller and hollow. The halloysite microtubules can act as a time-release capsule, dissolving over time, and can be filled with such things as antifouling paint, antiscalants, herbicides, pest repellents, and other agents which could benefit from a controlled release
"We are very excited about the prospects for this unusual material," commented Dr. Alan Rae, Vice President of Market and Business Development for NanoDynamics. "The recent commercial introduction of nano-clay based plastic composites into the automotive, sporting goods, and defense sectors bodes extremely well for the future use of halloysite. We believe that the high aspect ratio will offer plastic composite manufacturers new performance possibilities when designing composites for structural applications. The most recent market data indicates that the automotive industry has embraced nanoclay composites for exterior structural applications and we believe that halloysite offers potential cost and performance advantages over existing reinforcements. We look forward to developing these and numerous other uses for the Atlas material."
Bill Jacobson, President of Atlas Mining added: "The outstanding technical expertise, advanced materials experience, and commercialization strategy of NanoDynamics made them an ideal partner to advance the development and use of our halloysite microtubules. Close customer interaction and applications engineering is required to achieve success with new materials and new markets and we were impressed with how rapidly NanoDynamics has moved other nanomaterials into the marketplace. We are very hopeful about the possibilities this arrangement will offer."
About Atlas Mining Company:
Atlas Mining Company is a diversified natural resource company with its primary focus today on the development of the Dragon Mine in Juab County, Utah, the only known commercial source of Halloysite clay outside of New Zealand. The unique purity and quality of the Dragon mine Halloysite is unmatched anywhere in the world and has spawned considerable research into new and exciting applications for this product. Atlas also holds mining and timber interests in Northern Idaho, operates an underground mining contracting business, and is continuously looking for new opportunities in the mining and natural resources industry. Atlas stock trades on the OTC Bulletin Board under the symbol "ALMI". More information about Atlas Mining Company can be found at http://www.atlasmining.com.

DDYN, the R/S is what caused the >.01 price.
I was watching this in November and December after the R/S when it was .015 and steadily moved up from there and I was about to make a call on it when the bottom dropped out.
Not sure if it was dilution or some other cause. Good luck on it but be careful.
CYBT News. They have been a blessing for our troops
and their families.
.0016/.0017
And the bid seems strong Mach. Good question as well...
Seems when there is a rise you always have to wonder if news is just around the corner. With the B/A the same, now might be the time to get some at .0005. I wouldn't go much in, but it could move to .0006 soon.
Bo
Blue, thanks again.
In at .0009 and .0001 (very tough fills)
Out at .0013.
With the news logic says it should trade b/w .0015 and .002. Your call lit the fire under my butt to get an early entry, but still may have more upside from it's current .0012 price given the news.
Bo
Very good sign BlueJ. : )
BlueJ TY, very tough fill. : )
Good call my friend. Let's roll.
Bo
snook, with the close STEM had there is a high likelyhood
you'll see a gap tomorrow if you're in them. I got in just under 5. With high volume it started to get jumpy mid afternoon hitting the 5.70's then falling quickly back in the 5.60's. I took 15% and was happy.
Do I wish I would have stayed in? You bet. Given the close and possible gap in the 6's it would have been sweet. But when you least expect it, stocks turn the other way and the 15% could have turned into a break-even or small loss. If we could only have a crystal ball about twice a month. : )
UCSY is a good example of how invest on good news and play the next day's gap. I think STEM will be fine come opening bell as well.
Nite all,
Bo
dex, looking at 3 and wanting to add one.
I keep a mutual fund, but also keep a portfolio of 3 key plays in my own portfolio. I also set a small portion aside for smaller plays or quick turnarounds and still learning every day in that world. I'm determined this year to improve everyday on the calls, entry and sells I make. It's tough, but getting there.
Anyway, the 3 I'm kicking around, hoping to add 1:
SYK, oustanding 10 year chart and market dominance. It dipped in the fall of last year (very rare), but is rebounding nicely and even showing strength today in a down market.
SBUX, recent year earnings strength has reflected well in the market. Also showing strength on down days. I like that characteristic about a stock.
Last is LOW. Historically their run begins now and runs through June. Last year was an anomaly although holding them didn't kill you. They are down today, but believe the historical trend will surface this year.
Honorable mentions to HAR, EBAY and WFMI. HAR has had freakishly good 5 year chart, but you never hear a word on the news networks about them. That's why I like them.
Any thoughts or insight on their 2005 prospects?
I'm leaning toward SYK, but may say the heck with it and apportion all six equally...lol.
Thanks,
Bo
Lessons learned everyday here Janet.
I was in MMON at .0014, knowing it would gap in the morning, but then realized after buying it that I had an appointment today which kept me away until near lunchtime. My plan was to sell in the strength of the gap but forgetting my appt when I bought yesterday. How smart was that? : )
It seems even though you and I think good companies should continue runs, there are forces known and unknown which seem to restrict them from doing so.
I exited STEM at 5.65 and got just about even for the 2 days.
It may run more, or it may drop but I was fortunate to make some money back.
Just playing with around 1000-2000 right now.
5-20% for a turnaround trade is excellent when you think about it. We just have to pinch ourselves hard to not lose site of that thought..lol.
Have a good rest of Tuesday Janet!
Bo
What's wild is the trading seems 100% fluid.
A trade posting every second. The last, the bid and the ask change every tick which is every second.
Very rare and not complaining. Took a small loss with MMON so this helps.
STEM 5.61/5.63
: )
Good gap on UCSY Janet.
Out MMON here. Trading seemed fishy. Heavy volume, yet trending down.
Watching STEM 4.97/4.98. Application to FDA. Studies being done at Stanford. Low O/S.
Bo
Yes No Prob.
I saw it.
In business, an officer selling a large amount of shares is not a good sign, at least for the short term.
In the land of pennys, the above is still true plus it lines the pocket of that person usually at shareholder's expense.
Period.
That'a s Kool-Aid free comment about bottom line insider trading.
The Kool-Aid recipe is still around, but we're about down to one of the last batches. Fewer and fewer are drinking. They will likely still hold what they have left like I am, but this story has now run it's course from bizzare, to feeble, to now obvious.
I understand things take time. Many people do. But date after date, promise after promise, non-event after non-event has occurred for days, for weeks, for months, for years (2 1/2).
A half a dozen to a dozen men. A spider-web of a story to keep 50,000 interested. The result is more of the same. Those half dozen or dozen men get rich at our expense dumping new shares, or selling large blocks of their shares on the market.
I pray their intentions have been known and seen by a higher power. Reward them and us soon if they are good. Let them rot behind bars, along with ANY and ALL family members involved if this has been nothing more than an elaborate snake oil scam.
It sucks to waste bandwidth like this. The only good is last year, after the CMKX build-up was reaching peak levels beginning in June, many were lured away from looking at other good plays for pretty much the remainder of 2004. This year, with the last batch of Kool-Aid being served now, things will change.
If after the 3rd week of January the masses see there was nothing magic, and this was a typical CEO dumping his shares, I'm not sure how much more energy they'll have left after dozens of rounds of NOTHING. Like I say, they'll hold their shares (we have no choice at .0001), but money and energy may flow back to many other plays again making it a good market to be watching this year.
Either way, this saga has to end soon. Too many good people are shareholders, and this story reeks the longer this goes.
If pr's from October were not lies, there should be hundreds of tons of ore from Ecuador that have been recovered by now.
You would think that would be all the income USCA would need.
I hear the Kool-Aid talking saying he's using the money to buy incredible claims and finds. For only $1.5 million?? Not hardly. The 1.5 mil will either line pockets or yes, be used to buy something else to pr (pump) to add another section to the web, to keep the web going.
Full of cheer and happiness tonight huh? lol
Actually I'm just sick of about a dozen men trying to continue to make money on the backs of 50,000 of us. Luckily, more and more are waking up to this.
The fan is on high.
Sh** will hit it soon.
The question is, which way will the fan be pointing?
Bo
How true, I've found the key in pennyland is finding
the CEO's and partners that work hard to run a company versus incorporating to simply issue pr's and steal money from people through dilution.
You never know when the pump and dump (shares) is going to U-turn your investment to the red and never come back. The ones that are actually working on growing a company seem to give them best chance and short and longer term success if you get in early enough.
MLON and QBID have stayed up 2000% and 4800% from their .0001 levels because it appears that each company is showing up for work and are working their business plan striving for success. They are both at threshholds which could take them higher if good progress is confirmed soon. I don't have a dime in either. They are just 2 examples of 2 companies who backed up their pr's with effort rather than diluting their company to line their own pockets.
MMON has a strong stream of revenue and an product designed and made for the times. Hoping strong sales continue w/out any additional shares to the market.
GTG...have a good one Casprs and all!
Bo
Amen Casprs...
I think we're ok for now, but let's call the printing press repo specialists just in case. They guarantee to have any printing press out of sight before the morning bell.
: )
Bo
Thanks Caspers. With revenue in excess of 1.4 million and
likely growing plus showing a profit, there could be quite a bit of room here.
I can only again cite SIRI of 1-2 years ago. Double the O/S of MMON, about the same revenue or a bit more revenue at the time, and losing big time money. SIRI traded b/w .75 and $2.00 with worse fundementals than MMON has right now.
If financials and an important product line mean anything, tomorrow should also be a good day for MMON.
Bo
MCLD, strong day and showing afterhours strength on news.
I called it a couple weeks back, but sat there like it was laying eggs. Finally showing life.
News will still move MRKL, MCEL, BCON and the stock Joy called BIPH. They are all good companies, it's just a matter of when for each.
The waiting is the hardest part...(cue the Heartbreakers). : )
Bo
MMON: Traded @ $20 July, $150 in Feb...
I haven't done any seach beyond my broker's headlines which only takes me back 2 months.
Previous close was .0002, now at .0016!
Anyone know what led to their success in 04, then their fall to .0002?? I would guess dilution and some mid-year setback, but they seem to be operating in the black and way oversold going into today.
They are generating revenue and on 12-16, report both increased profits and revenues. Explosion-proof commercial products would appear to be a hot product.
Certainly one to watch tomorrow. It was fun watching it this past hour.
Bo
Definitely, I think we're all guilty of
drinking (me included big time) of drinking way too much CMKXreme Kool-Aid last year.
My 2 biggest regrets of last year was not buying 100 million QBID on 2-2 @ .0001, and not hitting the sell button at .001 for CMKX on the day of the pr telling the real results from Carolyn. Both times I had my finger on the button KNOWING what was likely going to happen. The former was a stubborn matter of principal, the second was no excuse.
A lot of guys on other boards see a lot of action with pure momentum plays. Some of them are VERY GOOD at it and it's fun to watch. Some make some serious money. At least for me, that is too jumpy and a crapshoot to time it right. News + emotion like UCSY are what have shown you at least 10-15% already, and you snuck in this afternoon. The news of the tragedy and UCSY's on-point response is impressive. It's that emotion based news I'll be looking for in making calls and plays. The more solid the company and share structure, the better.
It's the type of news that investors will respond to emotionally. In this case it's a good for business and goodwill in what we are seeing from USCY today.
Look for the gap up, and the news to come. You should show a nice first trade for 05. (sorry, I'm sounding like a Polish mom here..lol)
Bo
Good call and entry Janet! I know
the news and initial run was after the bell, but I just got in and think you'll see another strong run or 2 this afternoon.
It should be a nice gapper for you tomorrow.
I see additional news is coming soon.
WTG! : )
Bo
perc, about jawz picks.
Because it's more up my alley of investments, I have to comment on his picks.
Pull up a 4 year chart (Jan 01 - Dec 04) and you can be the judge on whether you like what you see with some of these picks.
I only looked at 5 of his picks. To be honest, after looking at them I didn't want to look at the others..lol
NFI had a roller coaster 04 (Six Flags coaster drop)
NAT went from ~25 in Jan 01 and trickled down for 3 years to 15 by Dec of 03.
VLCCF - same Jan 01 to December 03 poor performer.
OMS - Cedar Pointe 4 year coaster ride.
LUM - no words necessary.
A good yield is important for some Dow and S&P plays, but the lure of the high yield will get you the stomach ulcers and volitile returns which no dividend can sweeten.
Take a look at the 4 year charts for HAR, WFMI, BSC, EBAY and ASD and see if these might be better plays to safely earn sweet returns. No ulcers required, only happy portfolios. Remember Jan 01 through March of 03 was a bear market. These not only got you through, but made you money.
If you like dividends, stick to BAC & RAI, as the pps stays far more stable than any of the above.
I mention this just so if a windfall comes upon some or many of us, the type of plays you might want to be looking at might come from some of the ones I just mentioned. If you have a lot of Pepsid, then his might suit you better. : )
Happy evening to everyone!!
Bo
GM all, it's been a jumpy market this week.
The gainers are there but it seems many make the major jump quickly, then it's a crapshoot whether momentum will be sustained.
However 2 showing continued sustained strength are ANTP and NMCX.
It's obvious some type of big money got into ANTP early and it has rocketed without any news or mention on the financial news networks. Someone or some group has been giving themself a nice holiday windfall.
NMCX's reporting of their financials for periods shows credibility in their word and intentions. Their recent lucrative contract speaks volumes. The potential for even bigger things makes this stock attractive for 2005.
Have a good New Year's Eve all!
My best wishes for 2005!!
Bo
Joy, good eye on CYOS.
AMEP looks like it wants to go. Last is below the B/A. Seems as if interest is there but trades are being delayed.
I held firm in GBR. If you notice in the shake, the bid was being dropped but the ask stayed solid as a rock. Seemed like a move to get shares. Heading north again. LOVE low floaters. : ) This one also happens to make money.
Bo
GBR - Profitable company, very low float.
4.90/5.00
If you get in, watch closely. May be a very good one here.
ANTP blowing it's top.
It started the day trading down ~3.50. It is now almost up 2.50 on the day.
Something has got to be up with this stock. Stocks just don't rise unchecked from 5 to 50 with no news. Wonder what the hell is the behind the scenes story.
Other than that, nothing catching my eye. Momentum runners but none I wanted to jump on board.
Bo
CRLU, Cart the financials they reported last
week showed both promise and concern. Their revenues increased 256% from the same period last year, but their bottom line suffered.
Now with some companies the market ignores bottom line figures and looks to only revenue growth, but by the lukewarm reaction to the good news of last week, CRLU will need a couple of additional pr's like last week then I think the market will react strongly and sustain a higher level. Last week, it popped then pooped.
I took a small loss in getting out, but I still think linkage with Honeywell is promising and a stock to watch for additional news.
Modest O/S with promise, but now needs to build on what they pr'ed last week for the market to take it back to b/w .50 and 1.00 like it was b/w August and October.
IMO...it's one to radar for future pr's.
Have a good one CART,
Bo
ANTP, thanks Joy! It looks like it did
jump to the $5 level after the 10QSB, but there must be something in the 11-18 announcment that the market liked (understatement).
Possibly it was that it's best when a profitable company is left alone to allow continued earnings and growth, but holy rip from $5 to $39 in 6 weeks!
Bo
