heheheh, they say down. Here is the quote:
The markets staged a very impressive open today, gaining anywhere from 2.9 to 3.4% within the first
minutes of trading. The impulse up brought us to and above the minimum targets for wave C, the
terminal wave of this rally. The reversal mid day breached the wave 1 extreme on all of the major
indexes. This indicates that the rally is now over. Expectations were for one more wave up after this
morning, but the strength of the reversal indicates that this will not occur. The spike reversal appears
very similar to the one that occurred on March 12th, only this time it is in the other direction. The
VXN hit levels not seen since April 2002, which marked the beginning of the previous wave 3 down
at the same degree. The Put/Call ratio spiked lower this morning down to .54, and closed at .76. This
indicates that not much faith was given to the key reversal day. The major cycles (10, 20, 40, and 80
week) are all lining up to the downside. Barring a more complex correction, Wave 3 down appears to
be underway. This should be an unbelievable opportunity to profit on the short side, as we make our
way back to and below October lows.

Elliott Wave signaling a major reversal.
Tons of shooting star candles....
What the heck happened today????
Hey alfa, when Myst posts his picks he also provides a stop-loss and after entering the trade I would immediately set the stop-loss. On one trade I had been stopped out but noticed that Myst still had the trade active which spurred my question to him why this trade had not closed. Basically he told me that he closes the trade if the close is lower than the stop-loss. On our current trades one of the stocks passed the stop-loss level but closed above it. This time I stayed in.
Hope this answers your question,
JimBob

Yes sir!!! GG
There seem to be a lot of indications of a bull move on the horizon, but the one item I hear over and over again is "capitulation". It has indicated market bottoms in the past and it seems that it continues to pop up in the news as the sign people are looking for before they jump back in.
Any input? This is new territory for me.

Mr. Goodbug, I have been recieving the same error message on a few stocks lately. I am not sure what it is but it seems like a data error from the data source (i.e Yahoo, etc.) I have found that if I continue to change data sources I can finally get the quote.

You don't even have to be a mother to enjoy this one...
Brian Hester invited his mother over for dinner. During the course of
the meal, Brian's mother couldn't help but keep noticing how beautiful
Brian's roommate, Stephanie, was. Mrs. Hester had long been suspicious
of a relationship between Brian and Stephanie, and this had only made
her more curious.
Over the course of the evening, while watching the two react, Mrs.
Hester started to wonder if there was more between Brian and Stephanie,
than met the eye. Reading his mom's thoughts, Brian volunteered, "I know
what you must be thinking, but I assure you Stephanie and I are just
roommates."
About a week later, Stephanie came to Brian saying, "Ever since your
mother came to dinner, I've been unable to find the beautiful silver
gravy ladle. You don't suppose she took it, do you?" Brian said, "Well,
I doubt it, but I'll send her an e-mail just to be sure."
So he sat down and wrote:
"Dear Mother,
I'm not saying that you "did" take the gravy ladle from the house, I'm
not saying that you "did not" take the gravy ladle. But the fact remains
that one has been missing ever since you were here for dinner. Love,
Brian"
Several days later, Brian received a letter from his mother that read:
"Dear Son, I'm not saying that you "do" sleep with Stephanie, and I'm
not saying that you "do not" sleep with Stephanie. But the fact remains
that if she was sleeping in her own bed, she would have found the gravy
ladle by now. Love, Mom"
LESSON OF THE DAY ... NEVER LIE TO YOUR MOTHER
48 hours. The futures just dropped like a rock.
X_Dev Vault
The Vault can be used for a number of things, like:
1. backing-up your X_Dev settings.
2. downloading X_Dev settings from others.
3. uploading X_Dev settings for others to use.
4. browsing X_Dev files for setup ideas.
But the main reason I developed the Vault was to gather historical setups so new X_Dev'ers would have a database of setups available to see how X_Dev performed in the past with particular stocks. Since X_Dev requires optimizations based on the current trend a stock is running in, back testing and forward testing does not seem to answer past performance questions. With that in mind the history of X_Dev needs to be captured in snapshots based on how users have setup X_Dev to trade their stocks at any given time. Someone who wishes to back test/forward test a stock can find a previous setup in the Vault and then step forward to get snapshots of how a particular future trade would have turned out for the investor who submitted it.
Uploads to the X_Dev Vault are much appreciated!!!!
Access to the Vault is FREE at http://www.vestorAnalytics.com
Myst, can you explain this a little more.
If the stop is hit on a daily close basis
It is a unclear for me.
Thanks, Jim
