Thanks for the setup. :o)
XAU:
X-Dev has almost went to cash. If it goes to cash and then moves higher for 3 days we could have a trend change. The MRI is in the Mild Sell zone.
Kewl, got it!!!
kewl...got it!!!
A scanning feature to catch these would be kewl!!! :o)
I agree, just waiting for the buy signal on my XAU timing model. Short term indicators are overheated and set up for a nice pullback all of which are pointing to a good entry point in the near future.
No kidding!!!
Picking a bottom in the XAU using the MRI:
The positive divergence on the MRI says there's a good possibility it's time to buy.
Myst are you getting the emails I've been sending to you?
I would prefer to see the XAU trading over 90 for a few days, but the MRI and USD are good indications we may be heading there soon.
Yep, they have more surprises to come.. hehehe Elliott Wave says a little more upside then an extended move lower.. Even with such good technicals...Hmmm? I can't wait to see if that plays out.
The XAU may be hinting of a possible reversal in the near future:

Yep, I fell for it.. ahhahaha
Does the USD breakout? Still a good spot to add some gold shares with a stop just above the USD channel. See this article for details: http://goldmoney.com/en/commentary.php
The MRI is also giving the green light:
I'll sleep easier tonight..hahahah
Subject: Federal Bill 602P- e-Mail Charge
Guess the warnings were true. Federal Bill 602P charges 5-cents per
E-mail sent. It figures! No more free E-mail! We knew this was coming!!
Bill 602P will permit the Federal Government to charge a 5-cent charge
on every delivered E-mail.
Please read the following carefully if you intend to stay online and
continue using E-mail. The last few months have revealed an alarming
trend in the Government of the United States attempting to quietly push
through legislation that will affect our use of the Internet.
Under proposed legislation, the US Postal Service will be attempting
to bill E-mail users out of "alternative postage fees."
Bill 602P will permit the Federal Government to charge a 5-cent
surcharge on every e-mail delivered, by billing Internet Service
Providers at source. The consumer would then be billed in turn by the
ISP. Washington, DC lawyer Richard Stepp is working without pay to
prevent this legislation from becoming law.
The US Postal Service is claiming lost revenue, due to the proliferation
of E-mail, is costing nearly $230,000,000 in revenue per year. You may
have noticed their recent ad campaign: "There is nothing like a
letter.."
Since the average person received about 10 pieces of E-mail per day in
1998, the cost of the typical individual would be an additional 50
cents a day -- or over $180 per year -- above and beyond their regular
Internet costs.
Note that this would be money paid directly to the US Postal Service
for a service they do not even provide.
The whole point of the Internet is democracy and noninterference. You
are already paying an exorbitant price for snail mail because of
bureaucratic inefficiency. It currently takes up to 6 days for a
letter to be delivered from coast to coast. If the US Postal Service is
allowed to tinker with E-mail, it will mark the end of the "free" Internet in
the United States.
Congressional representative, Tony Schnell (R) has even suggested a
"$20-$40 per month surcharge on all Internet service" above and beyond
the governments proposed E-mail charges. Note that most of the major
newspapers have ignored the story the only exception being the
Washingtonian which called the idea of E-mail surcharge "a useful
concept who's time has come" (March 6th, 1999 Editorial). Do not sit
by and watch your freedom erode away!
Send this E-mail to EVERYONE on your list, and tell all your friends and
relatives to write their congressional representative and say "NO" to
Bill 602P.
It will only take a few moments of your time and could very well be
instrumental in killing a bill we do not want.
PLEASE FORWARD!
Kewl!!! It's that Microsoft Update. I am in the process of revamping the entire site to work around the problem. Hopefully it won't take too long.
Heck Yea... I'm sold on it.. Hey Myst, see if you can log into my site with it and let me know.
Thanks for the link whitelake!!!!
I was refering to the MRI indicator. I did not enlarge the MRI window but the way is looked to me was that bar color coresponded with the candle. I could be wrong, it was a quick observation.
Looks like one color for up days (green bars) and one for down days (red bars).
I'm preparing for a new gold X-Dev port:
The XAU took a dump today.. Missed my short entry, guess I'll have to wait for the next long setup.
Booba, also you need to make sure that any stock you want an MRI of is saved as an X-Dev setup first.
I found that any symbol you want an MRI for must first have a setup saved before it will work or X_Dev will poof (disapear) on you.
Myst, after installing I am able to use the regular parts of X_Dev but when I click on the MRI button the software shuts off??
Hey Myst, I think the problem is with that Microsoft Internet Explorer update I had emailed you about a few weeks ago. If you have your operating system set to accept new updates and this one was added you won't be able to access the site anymore. I have been looking for a fix but have been unable to find one. I'll let you know when I do.
That's Great News!!!!
I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!
It's going to get interesting over the next week or two. A double top breakout on the US dollar P&F chart will draw some attention. I think the XAU has a chance to continue up into the 108 area before we see a larger decline. I'll be sitting in cash waiting for the signal to go short.
I think it's doing it again this morning...
Myst, today's MarketEye chart is not showing up...
Sorry for the delay, I went out of town and the NIC card on my laptop went bad. I have been unable to update the site but will be able to get everything back in order late Sunday night.
As for gold and the XAU, 105 is the critical level to watch. I am considering a buy if there is a break and hold above 105. A break below 98ish would offer support for the bears based on the Elliott Wave counts. Right now I consider the XAU in no-man's land.
Nice call on MarketEye Wednesday Myst, I jumped in on the MystPicks and they really moved today.
XAU weakness....
If the weakness continues we may have a great setup for a short play. I'll be watching 98.65 and the March 12th low for further confirmation. Depending on how it plays out along with my indicators I may find myself shorting in the near future. I'll consider a long position on a move above 105.
