do you think these delays have anything to do with finding hidden money?
I guess one man's "wasteful expenses" is another man's investment. As for "months" until the federal money becomes more available, I'll give you a hint: Once the money is in the market place and everybody and their brother is buying subsidized PV panels and the govt is ensuring that alternative energy companies have 100% access to the bond market for expansion purposes, once that all comes to pass and it will, by then you will be paying significantly more than $1.30 a share. .
How did you get $5.60?
The number in the most recent quarter,$285M, works out to $1.73/share. But my understanding was that was largely the proceeds they were using for manufacturing expansion. i.e, it's not $1.73 anymore, some portion of it has been spent.
"diminishing government subsidies" doesn't sound right, given the rhetoric of the incoming administration. The article must be referring to existing tax credits while ignoring any new programs being discussed for legislation after Jan 20.

It was delayed upon request of the defendant's attorney. Such requests are typically granted for many reasons, for instance to allow more time for getting their presentation together.
Has anyone received a VIN and PIN for the VNS?

We are currently in the process of assigning you a Victim Identification Number (VIN) and Personal Identification Number (PIN). We expect to provide you with your VIN and PIN shortly. Once you receive your VIN and PIN, you will be able to access information via the Victim Notification System (VNS), and update your personal information into VNS. We will provide you with additional details when we send you your VIN and PIN.
Mike, That article quotes a speaker at the 2008 IEEE Santa Clara Valley Electron Devices symposium, which was on Thursday Oct 2. Bush just signed the solar, wind and clean-energy projects incentives bill into law on Friday the 3rd. Are you referring to some other tax credit issue?
1/10 would be nice, but don't hold your breath. Once before I was party to a class action stock suit, the stock was MarchFirst. I lost $20k, and in 2003 filled out the class action paperwork with my stock purchase dates and prices, etc. Nothing happened for years, but I finally received a check for my portion of the settlement just last week. It was $67. And those board members were and are still worth millions. Apparently, dishonesty pays in the USA. Cyberkey had one board member worth millions, but he'll be able to hire much better lawyers than all the little ckys stockholders combined.
Anybody able to get into the VNS yet? Not me. Sentencing is 5 weeks away.

where is this info that Dan Mertlich was appointed director coming from? I know the ihub board lists his name up top next to dir, but the company website says
Board of Directors
Mr. Jim Plant, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board
Mr. N. Thomas Heaton, Chief Operating Officer, Director
Mr. Joel Krautheim, Tiger Scape Corporation, President/CEO, CyberKey Solutions, Inc., Director
I see the board info at the top under the pictures now lists Dan Mertlich as Dir. Where did that come from?
Litigious.
what's that have to do with anything? the question was why was he missing a month or two ago.
jeanette, fyi, RC had an accident which is why he disappeared.
Mordicai, I heard the third guy on the board was quite wealthy. Like more than $20M. Maybe the board should of had more oversight on the ceo... gee, where have I heard that before.
I haven't been able to get anything from that link yet, what link do you have?
follow that volume the last few days and it can only lead to people trading on inside info. i will file a complaint but its the little guy like me that always gets screwed.
write your representatives and complain. it will do no good if you are the only one....but you aren't the only one.
you seem to think that FOSE has or is happening. It's not until next week.
about that Cramer interview
I thought it was very strange when he was responding to questions from total strangers about his client cyberkey.
I don't think it is material if the questions are outside the scope of the sec matter. As far as the sec is concerned, the company is free to publicly talk about the questions and answers involved in the sec inquiry. That's pretty much a direct quote from an sec attorney I spoke with a couple weeks ago.

Centale is another Big Apple co.
Don't know for sure anymore than you. But with time if it does turn out to be a bump in the road, I won't be surprised, but you will be. right?
Change my name? you've confused me there, I've always had this name..
Is there any other kind?

iamadog, I think it would be more accurate to say that they could add software that would separate them, see post #65802.

My account shows that also as the bid/ask. But that's just where is was frozen when the suspension happened. You can still place a limit order to buy/sell at any price you want.
that's not true, I bought twice in the last 2 weeks by a online limit order thru tdameritrade.
sorry about that .004 --- that is no doubt because I bought at .008 yesterday, lol.
Does anyone know what the little 'z' is next to some of the trades listed on the ihub L2?
no luck at .006 thru tdameritrade for most of today, but they filled an order at .008 after about an hour.
I'm checking out ckei and I see the A/D line abruptly flattened out in mid december after a long decent. Same with OBV. Can some one fill me in on the reason for this? TIA

If all you are going to do is buy a usb drive and use it as storage, then Cyberkey's drives aren't any better (or worse) than others on the market. See post #65802 for advantages.
sorry, I didn't even check to see if you could do pm's. My email is on my page, thanks.
Why is that strange? Is there a company in the world whose products aren't being sold on Ebay? Keep bashing, my next order will be in by Tuesday and you could help me get it filled.
$4? That's a $2.8 Billion net worth, you must think a lot of cyberkey!
I think they have number of provisional patents for various aspects of the usb keys.
I guess I don't perceive a threat of something far worse, perhaps I have some people on ignore that you don't. I bought a little more today at .01 but my latest deposit won't clear until Monday or Tuesday so I hope we don't start trading until after that. The risk as I see it is if they aren't able to execute on these usb marketing plans, then the long term appreciation won't be there. But the jury won't be in on that for quite some time and before then I expect we'll be all over the map as far as share price.

geo, maybe I can help with how those Cyberkey drives are different. My understanding is all of them, including the new 16Gb, look just like anyone else's drive when you plug it in. You'll see the familiar icon (i.e., removable drive E:) show up in 'My computer' just like all usb drives. And just like many other usb suppliers you can install rudimentary locking software so that some selectable fraction of the drive is off limits without a password. This is not the 128 bit encryption you may of heard about, in fact it is only a 4 digit password. But what is different is there is some additional IC in there that can run application specific firmware. This is the key to all the applications envisioned in the different business sectors. It allows you to do stuff like write a program to communicate with the drive and enter into a hand-shake where a code that uniquely identifies that particular drive is returned. This for instance would be invaluable if the content on the drive were labeled with that code. Its a form of DRM, the content won't do what you want (i.e. the game won't run) if you can't get that serial number from the drive. It prevents you from copying the game. This is only one example of what you might do with firmware running on that internal IC.

I’ve mostly stayed away from the board for the past couple weeks. IMO too many people posting about stuff that they know little or nothing about. I know nothing about the status of the SEC investigation or what will happen tomorrow or if there will be a PR. When I visited the company on Feb 9 we talked only a little about the trading suspension – as I posted before they seemed confident that this will pass. Instead we talked a great deal about the company business, i.e. Jim’s plans for the company and where he wants to take it and how they are doing. I came to understand that his vision is to build a number of separate branded applications that will result in recurring demand for the company’s usb devices. They all take advantage of the DRM and OTGU (on-the-go-upgrade which is a firmware change) that is possible with their drives. You can read about some of these applications on the company’s website, for instance in the entertainment, automotive, financial sectors etc. The overall theme is security and although the Keepsafe has no direct relation to this usb business model it does help build the security brand very nicely and it does bring in cash. They have ordered another 15,000 safes from sequiam in addition to the 10,000 that were ordered before. In addition there are more such non-usb products coming that push the cyberkey security brand.
They seemed to be making headway in the core usb business. Jim mentioned that by April we will see partnering in the entertainment industry with a big name like Netflix. He specifically said it is not Netflix, but his point was I would recognize the name. And I saw a usb cyberkey with the Volvo logo on it and they said that for the first go around Volvo was going with a 512Mb drive with things like video clips of accessories (as you sit in the car you could peruse the Volvo catalog on the car’s screen) and preloaded vocal introduction so the car talks to you. And I saw the upcoming MedKey website (btw, as you read the cyberkey medical webpage, consider the target population. IMO, this product will do well with certain groups of people. Those who travel a lot, retirees golfing in Florida, etc). And I saw what looked more like a dog tag than a usb key – MedKey for the military.
There are a number of people who obviously have an interest in seeing cyberkey fail. Those of you who have an interest in seeing ckys succeed can help in my opinion by letting them do their job. It helps no one to have hordes of people calling Jim, the company, or companies they do business with, even if you have good intentions. Can you imagine trying to build and run a business with a bunch of people attempting to track your every move and publish it. Jim has had to change his cell phone number twice because of people from this board. A second thing you can do is join the effort on the suspended trading sharecount board. There is no risk if you black out all your identifying information. And something good may come of it, although some people here will try and convince you otherwise.
