The old hardware will be added into a cluster with the new hardware.
So, it's not a boat anchor, but I doubt that will stop Paulie anyway ;)
Bueller.... Bueller...
Probably not. Unless you can somehow get Matt to buy off on it. Doesn't look to me like we'd get enough return for the pain. Autorefresh is kinda hard on the servers.
If you don't mind ads out the wazoo, Bravenet offers free hosting.

Otherwise, for something more professional, Godaddy.com offers hosting at reasonable prices.

We're aware there's a problem and are taking steps to rectify it. Investorshub is moving to a new ISP this weekend. Multiple new servers, MUCH better switching equipment, it should be all peaches and cream.
Expect periodic outages Saturday and Sunday while we get things moved.
It's acting normally for me. I don't see anything unusual happening on our end. Anyone else experiencing problems?
Yes. I normally use at least two different scanners. One catches what the other misses.
A good first step would be to make sure you're not infected with something. There's a decent online virus/malware scanner listed in the ibox:

I don't see that here and since I haven't heard a vast anguished outcry from other users, I believe it's probably something with your computer.
The easiest thing to try is a reboot. If that doesn't fix it, try clearing your cache.
Yes, why?
It possibly could have been - I was doing a mass copy to the new servers. Seems fine to me now though.
Post a message listing what it should be.
Close - south Missouri.
Did you say something ontopic?
Way more fun than a groundhog ;)
Gopher's just a squirrel with a really short tail - probably be good ;)
Groundhog is better. Growing up on the farm, you learn it's all edible ;)
I've had possum although it's been probably close to 40 years ago. Bandicoots (other than the video game version) are Aussie animals so I never had the opportunity(?) to chow down on one.
The brick would probably be a better choice. Much easier to clean ;)
There is a third option that doesn't get mentioned much. Under Tools -> My Settings you can set "Display Embedded Graphics" to Off.
It hurts soooooo good...

I'm having chest pains just looking at it...
"What happens in Missouri, stays in Missouri." *
*also applies to Arkansas, Kentucky and West Virginia
I don't have a wish or a need to keep anything hidden.
The issue is overreaction. As I mentioned, the ads on the quote page are nothing new. Churak brought it up and both Grubmaster and I told him the person to take it up with is Bob. You came along and went a bit off the deep end in response to Churak.
Clem had nothing to do with this. If it's not what you agreed to, talk to Bob.
Huh? What edit?
Trust Chewy to stir the pot ;) The ads he's talking about are nothing new. There have always been ads displayed to subscribers on the Quotes page and there's never been a chirp of complaint before today that I've seen.
Bob moved the placement of one of the ads on the Quotes page and suddenly the sky is falling. As you may have noticed, things change around here quite frequently - usually for the better. We work on the site all the time. Some of the changes are user driven, some are business driven. The two aren't necessarily polar opposites and they do go hand in hand. I've had countless people tell me that none of our competitors are as responsive to user requests as we are. You can't hire talent if you've got nothing to pay them with ;)
Without getting too long winded here, my point is before you run off to find Nirvana, it might be good to make sure you're not leaving Nirvana ;)
He gives you candy?
Nope, Grubbie gave you the right answer - take it up with Bob ;)
Sorry, top secret. It involves a monkey and a dart board of our own design ;)
The quote issue is a Quotemedia problem that comes and goes. The issue of not being able to see Paulie's pics is usually because ad blocking software is installed. Whitelist adserv.stocksite.com to see Paulie's pics.

Baseless rumor. Thats not needed or planned for IH anytime soon.
The situation at SI was this - the previous owner had created an account on SI anytime anyone joined any of their properties so there were several hundred thousand accounts that had never been used and were taking up aliases - making it difficult to choose a new alias when you joined.

Not really - I believe she's already turned off hibernate which would be the prime suspect.
Did anyone notice the Forex link on the right side of the system menu?
