The local NPR station here in Phoenix did a great piece on NeoReach/ MoblePro wireless this morning. I am still waiting for them to reach my zip code in South Tempe but it looks like Chandler will start where Tempe leaves off and cover some extremely affluent areas. Their web site is easy to navigate, clear and informative. This is going to be a big winner for us in time, folks.
IVAN- Zen, took your advice and pulled out half. I don't really know the company so will buy only on dips. Took the money and tried one of Bobwin's patented Canadian Juniors. I've done well on his advice. And even though he's liquidated GFCI, I still believe this one is going to be another VPHM for me. Thanks again.
IVAN- Having bought at 99 cents, I'm thinking to pull the plug at $3 on a three bagger. Am I crazy not to wait to see where this oil 2 oil thing goes? Any advice appreciated.
The City of Tempe just sent out their January utility bills and there was a nice blurb inside about the WazTempe roll-out being on target to complete in mid February. I contacted WazChandler to subscribe (I live ion the Tempe/ Chandler border) and was told it would be late February in my zip code. So we seem to be on schedule. Downtown Tempe and the ASU campus already good, mid Tempe as well. Now let's land Mesa and Gilbert and you've grabbed the entire east valley. How could Phoenix not want to get in on that?
How about Sacramento to Dallas?
The poor GFCI thread has caught a bug and become uninhabitable. Probably a little too much pump and way too much pee on your Wheaties. Either way, I still believe this company is going to surprise a lot of naysayers. Maybe not as high as some are thinking, but there is still a glimmer of light showing through the clouds. If the management are really just clueless about promotion and not the crooks some paint then to be, thirty two cents is going to look like a real bargain in about three or four months. I'm still happy Bobwins brought this one to my attention.
I am still up a packet of dough on AEY and thank the poster who brought it to this board! There's plenty of room left for this one, I believe.
And thanks again, 10 Bagger, for the HRBN tip. These two have made me healthy at years end and are much appreciated.
Gilbert is a no-brainer for MOBL. It sits right next to Chandler, has a perfect demographic and they are building like crazy on their southern flank. MOBL needs to secure the entire Valley of the Sun from Avondale to Queen Creek. That is 2.5 million potential subscribers.
This board is getting great! Grifco provides the naysayers voluminous opportuniies to point out the despicable way Dial has been running a public company. Diehard "Glass Half Full" loyalists opining reasons for their optimisn (Greed). It just doesn't get any better than this in Pinkie Land, does it? Just for the record, I threw some more money down this Grifco rat hole today.
Hey, I made money on Bobwins NWAU play! It just took some darn lucky timing on the trigger pull. He also turned me on to this aggravating company, albeit with a giant caveat. I have remembered his warning and kept my portion in perspective. I still believe that after we've tied our guts in knots a few more times, Grifco will turn out to be a positive entry in our portfolios. There just appears to be too much upside to not have a taste of it amid your "real" stocks.
10 Bagger- hope you haven't left yet. Thanks for the tip on BGH. I did great on your ALY suggestion and hope to do as well here. Thanks again.
Great point, good sir. And I certainly cannot brag up this outfit until they start "showing me the beef!" There will be a thousand times a thousand entry and exit points to this pinkmeister and Dr. Bill won't miss his as soon as he sees what he needs to see. Just jousting with our resident Doctor.
Dr. Bill- Please stop worrying about all the novice investors who might squander the money grandma gave them. Your points are well made but the folks who are already taking a "flyer" on this pinkie don't care what you say. And I doubt your consistent negative comments will truly overcome the inherent greed the novices are seeing in this investment. It is what it is, we're going to hit a home run or go down in flames. Babe Ruth DOES still hold the strikeout record, doesn't he?
Thank you very much 2morrow.
HRBN- Any upside left here? Any help appreciated as I have loved this gem.
HRBN- Is there still upside to this one?
Whoever first mentioned HRBN to this board... my sincere thanks. I'm up over 100% and needed it desparately.
I own stock in a company called Aimsi Technology. The president got indicted for fleecing the stockholders and is going to jail. Too bad, because he was in cahoots with the Oakridge Labs developing a handheld sensor that can smell explosives or a meth lab from 1000 yards away. That company went south and I believe that SEHO has now grabbed the licensing from them. If so, this little unit is amazing, I've seen it up close and it's darn accurate. The Japanese had ordered a ton of them prior to the meltdown. Unbelievable, this clown had a Golden Goose but decided to go criminal rather than wait for sure success.
That's the real answer. I'm glad they're doing whatever is necessary to get SOME kind of numbers out here for the investing public. Don't care what the company name is, don't care about the speculated pps- just give us the darn numbers and let the market decide what Grifco is worth!
I certainly hope you are right, Oracle, because I have WAY too much invested in this pinkie. But the story is too darn good to NOT be true. Just hope we don't get screwed with the R/M or going private.
Thx for the tip a long time ago on NWAU. I got in and got out with some profit and feel thankful. You just have to watch out for car dealers, don't you?
I'm seeing the little relay units mounted all over Tempe's light posts. Looks like they are on schedule for the roll-out and Sen. McCain's got a darn bully pulpit on the issue. Sure has been a dreadfully long Sept/ Oct watching the PPS go down. Oh well, you buy your ticket and you take your ride; some of it is going to be a bit bumpy.
GFCI is one of those story stocks that will drive you nuts. Seem to have a better mousetrap, cementing important deals with international partners, experience in the field, they have it all. And I believe the story. But their management team can't seem to pour piss from a cowboy boot when it comes to running the thing like a real live public company. This one's a dice roll but I'm still at the table.
Bobwins... these "kids" aren't going to remember Here's Johnnie!
NAUG Their Navicom division just released a new GPS Personal Locator. Tried to buy one for the teenagers car... back ordered 4-6 weeks. Good sign!
Interesting to see that WazTempe and WazChandler appear to be building out together. Chandler, which abuts Tempe, is larger, wealthier and techier. It is the home of Intel's Fab plant for Pentium 4 and the new generation of wafer chips. If NeoReach customers are able to roam between these cities, it effectively triples the available client base.
Considering Arizona's Senator McCain's soapboxing on the wireless issue, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the entire Valley of the Sun under MoblePro's banner soon enough.
Tobin Smith has really liked this stock for a while. It's been a bumpy ride for me since April but you just get the impression the darn thing has to go places... one of these days.
I live in Tempe and I believe they have started mounting units on the lightposts. Any confirmation from the company?
Not that you haven't heard this before but thanks again to Hweb for LMIA. One of my best performers.
I own GFCI and added to my position twice this week. I believe the impact of the Jet Motor will overcome the apparent lack of strong leadership and finesse on the communication.
I have been in the retail automobile business for 28 years, two of which I spent running a "Buy Here-Pay Here" dealership. The folks paying 29.9% APR have earned this ignominious right and these outlets are the only thing between the clients and public transit. We expended hundreds of thousands of dollars attempting to "locate" our clients and our security interest, often times paying bribes to relatives to snitch out their deadbeat relations.
So much of the loan was "charged off" that we often struggled to recoup 25 cents on the dollar. So the 29.9% is not the reality at the end of the day.
The ability to instantly locate and disable a vehicle for a BHPH dealership could add oodles of bottom line. I took one look at this deal and saw huge potential.
I bought more, too. Just seems like any product that increases oil production without additional drilling has got to work!
Any reason for GFCI decline today?
I'm a new member invited by Bobwins and have enjoyed watching the board for the least week. I am probably not thorough enough yet in analysis to be much help for you folks, but once in a while I might offer a company that seems ready to move. One such company is MobilePro. (MOBL)
They just landed a contract to WiFi the city of Tempe, AZ. They are also acquiring and teaming with other businesses in this sector to provide wireless/ phone/ data services. I'd appreciate any input/ analysis. Feel free to let me know I'm full of crap, too, as I have thick skin.
Looking forward to a profiitable relationship.
Bobwins- thx for GFCI & VPHM
