Not going to happen. The U.S. economy is healthy, and could even be said to be booming. There is no national emergency that requires the U.S. government to declare eminent domain and invade the state of Alaska, or any state for that matter, and dig a TOXIC mine that would destroy precious national resources, like the Sockeye Salmon, against the overwhelming will of the people of that state, regardless of how much the TOXIC miner crowd jumps up and down about how valuable copper is. The TOXIC Pebble Mine is not the only source for copper no matter how much the TOXIC mining crowd screams and hollers about how the U.S. HAS to have it dug up from the TOXIC Pebble Mine.

Wrong - Trump doesn't Trump states rights. Read your constitution. Alaskans OVERWHELMINGLY reject the TOXIC Pebble Project. The citizens of a State, as in the State of Alaska, have the right to reject TOXIC mining. They have overwhelmingly rejected it, and the TOXIC Pebble Project will never be built.
But hey, what the heck, throw a few more thousands of dollars down the toilet. Those who were throwing their money down the toilet at $3.50, and $2.50, and $1.50, and $1.00, and .85 and .75 and .65, and now .50 will continue to do so all the way down to .0001. That is what dumb money does. Ignore the warnings that have been 100% correct, and continue to feed the NAK garbage disposal. So it is written, so it shall be.
Denial is not a river in Egypt. Keep throwing good money after bad money gets the same results. Just ask those naive "investors" who kept throwing more money at TOXIC NAK all the way down in its TOXIC death spiral from $3.50 to .50. How did that work out for them? The warnings here were clear, and the smart money have been 100% correct. What is the record of the dumb money, who kept saying "average down" that NAK is going to $10:00?
LMAO.. Yeah, the actual facts about the share price declining from $3.50 to .50 "means nothing," but gross speculation about how it will skyrocket in price to $10.00 should be taken seriously. However, it does explain why some would still support the TOXIC PEBBLE PROJECT even if the stock were trading at .0001. The smart money listened to the 100% correct warnings here when NAK was still trading in $$ and got out. The dumb money is still making excuses and looking for miracles.
The share price is a little dated too, wouldn't ya say? From 3.50 all the way down in a death spiral to .52. Now that, is the ONLY thing important as far as dates go.
Follow that up with this expose on the Pebble Mine TOXIC Disaster -
When it comes to Pebble, it doesn't matter who is in charge of the EPA. What does someones opinion about "climate change" have to do with the Toxic Pebble Project destroying the Salmon? The people of Alaska are overwhelmingly opposed to the mine, and you can be a climate change denier and still be opposed to the Toxic Pebble Project and its destructive effects on the fragile Salmon habitat. Climate change has nothing to do with destructive Toxic Mining in Alaska.

The tunnel visioned NAK proponents mistakenly think that Pruitt was the problem, and the giddy response to his exit speaks to that delusion. The problem has nothing to do with Pruitt, it has to do with the TOXIC Pebble Project and the voices of the citizens of Alaska that overwhelmingly oppose the TOXIC Pebble Project. The people will vote to Save the Salmon and the precious Alaskan environment, regardless of who the new agency chief is.
Glad you agree. NAK is not getting anything now. They have exhausted their options, and no company that answers to shareholders would dare risk throwing tens or hundreds of millions of dollars into this documented disaster after the multitude of past companies that got burned throwing money into NAK.
Bankruptcy is now distinctly looming on the horizon. The only financing solution now would be MASSIVE dilution, Reverse Splits, and continued pain and devastation for current shareholders, and for that matter, future shareholders.
This is yet another warning from the voices who have been 100% correct in their warnings. Ignore it at your own financial peril.
That remains the HUGE problem with BTG. There are now over a BILLION shares out. Very hard to make any upward progress with such a gigantic barge of a billion shares to try and move up.
You said:
The share price speaks volumes as to who is winning the TOXIC argument. The voices who have been warning of this disaster since the price was at 1.90 and then 1.75, and warning again at 1.50 and 1.25, and warning again at 1.00 and .75 have been proven 100% correct.
Now the price is at .52. The smart money listened to the warnings, and prudently fled this disaster at prices well over a dollar, many getting out by the skin of their teeth. The dumb money did not listen, and some took the most horrendous advice ever given and "averaged down".
The dumb money are now hopelessly trapped, and yet some continue to ignore the numerous warnings posted here that have been 100% correct, and expect miracles from a dry TOXIC wishing well.

There is no other word for it but TOXIC -
The environmental impact of mining includes erosion, formation of sinkholes, loss of biodiversity, and contamination of soil, groundwater, and surface water by chemicals from mining processes. Besides creating environmental damage, the contamination resulting from leakage of chemicals also affects the health of the local population.[1] Mining companies in some countries are required to follow environmental and rehabilitation codes, ensuring the area mined is returned close to its original state. Some mining methods may have significant environmental and public health effects. Nuss and Eckelman (2014)[2] provide an overview of the life-cycle wide environmental impacts of metals production associated with 62 metals in year 2008.
Erosion of exposed hillsides, mine dumps, tailings dams and resultant siltation of drainages, creeks and rivers can significantly impact the surrounding areas, a prime example being the giant Ok Tedi Mine in Papua New Guinea. In wilderness areas mining may cause destruction and disturbance of ecosystems and habitats, and in areas of farming it may disturb or destroy productive grazing and croplands. In urbanised environments mining may produce noise pollution, dust pollution and visual pollution.

How mining generates toxic waste
Open pit mining results in huge quantities of waste rock. First, to reach the underground ore deposit huge quantities of rock must be removed. This rock, called overburden, is dumped as waste. Secondly, the copper ore itself is very low grade. The copper ore in Intag has a copper concentration of 0.7%1. This 0.7%, along with 0.03% molybdenum has to be extracted. The other 99.27% is waste. This waste, called tailings, consists of a slurry of water and fine rock particles. To produce 2 million tons of pure copper, hundreds of millions of tons of waste rock will be created.
When the rock body is exposed to the environment toxins that were previously locked safely underground, unable to react with air and water, are released. The rock in Intag contains chalcopyrite and pyrite1. These are acid generating sulfides. When exposed to air they form sulphates, when sulphates contact with water they dissolve into the water as sulfuric acid. The acid releases heavy metals contained in the rock, such as lead and chrome. These metals are toxic at low doses. This process is called acid mine drainage. Once it starts, it is virtually impossible to stop. There are Roman-era mining sites that are 2000 years old that are still producing acid mine drainage.

Not only is the Pebble Project TOXIC, the NAK share price is TOXIC, crashing from $3.50 all the way down to .52 and ready to fall even further. Buying NAK stock in the TOXIC Pebble Mine Fiasco, and especially making the ill advised decision to keep "averaging down" has turned out to be one of the most TOXIC investment decisions ever made.
The Governor of Alaska disagrees with you, as stated in his 23 page Indictment of the Toxic Pebble Mine Proposal and the potentially disastrous effects on the region it could cause. The citizens of Alaska overwhelmingly agree with him and will vote for the Salmon.

I must have missed it . Did the President declare a National State of Emergency and Martial Law? Is the country going to collapse if the toxic Pebble Mine isn't built? Can the President tell Alaska they can't build the mine, even if it gets all the environmental approvals and permits, and the Governor and people of Alaska want the mine? Guess you never heard of State's Rights.
Governor submits letter requesting suspension of EIS in the Pebble Mine Project
Posted: Sat 2:01 PM, Jun 30, 2018 | Updated: Sat 10:37 PM, Jun 30, 2018
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - In a letter dated Friday and submitted to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District, Gov. Bill Walker and Lt. Gov. Byron Mallott have requested the Corps suspend the environmental impact statement process in the Pebble Mine Project.
“The PLP (Pebble Limited Partnership) has yet to demonstrate to us or the Alaska public that they have proposed a feasible and realistic project. Without, at minimum a preliminary economic assessment, but preferably a pre-feasibility study, the corps will be unable to take a hard look at all the reasonable alternatives in the draft EIS,” the letter states.
The Pebble Limited Partnership wants to develop a copper and gold mine near a major salmon fishery in Alaska's Bristol Bay region.
Project details released earlier this year would indicate that the Pebble Partnership group has already made substantial changes to its development plans, including alterations that would lessen the negative environmental impact: Notables include a development footprint "less than half the size that was previously published"; they will focus on one specific drainage instead of multiple, limiting it to the North Fork Koktuli; cyanide use has been cut out.
In a statement released June 30th, The Pebble Partnership announced their feelings on Governor Walker's most recent request.
“We find it incredibly disappointing that the governor’s request to suspend the NEPA process is nearly identical to that brought forward by the anti-Alaska, anti-development Natural Resources Defense Council. We expect this type of stall tactic from ENGOs opposed to any kind of development but not from the Governor of Alaska and especially when the project is on Alaska land. Frankly, the governor does not make a compelling case to suspend the NEPA process," The Pebble Partnership said in a release.
The statement continues to argue against the action claiming that it will slow future investment which in turn will limit the states resource-related jobs potential. Pebble Partnership says it believes it can meet the technical and environmental standards of Alaska and call on the governor to believe in it too, not challenge the opportunity.
Opponents have primarily cited the adverse affects the mine could have on the local environment, well-known as a prominent fishing ground and fragile ecosystem comprising a variety of animals and natural resources.
The Natural Resource Defense Council sites that the mine would require building earthen dams as tall as 740 feet to contain about 10 billion tons of mine tailings and keep it from the surrounding environment and drain an extra 35 billion gallons of water from salmon habitat every year.
Commissioner Andy Mack with the Department of Natural resources says there are still too many unanswered questions about the project regardless of if Pebble Partnership believes that it can work to meet Alaska's standards.
In April, The Corps announced it would extend the timeline to June 29 for the public to comment ahead of an environmental review of the proposed Pebble mine.
Corps officials said an early draft of that document should be released publicly by the end of January of 2019.

That would be a great tin foil hat proposal. Build the toxic Pebble Mine because the Alaskan Salmon are radioactive, and so adding even more pollution won't matter. See how far that idiotic conspiracy theory gets if someone was foolish enough to actually present it to the citizens of Alaska as a reason Pebble should be built. They would be laughed out of the state.

Why, because Dave Wilson says so? Sorry Dave, but the people of Alaska are not willing to make your "trade-off" of destroying the Salmon to build the toxic mine. They choose the Salmon.
Lol... .0018 "higher". How very sad. The stock plummets from 3.50 all the way down to .48, and now a tiny .0018 rise in price is cause for celebration to hopelessly trapped shareholders desperate to find some way out of this nightmare. I am shaking my head in disbelief.
Notice this - NAK last trade .5009 - down .0052.
Didn't they say it "Pebble is going to be huge" when it was trading at 3.50? And "Pebble is going to be huge" when it was trading at 2.50, and "Pebble is going to be huge" when it was trading at 1.50, and "Pebble is going to be huge" when it was trading at 1.00, and "Pebble is going to be huge" when it was trading at .75....... and now, once again, "Pebble is going to be huge" and it's trading at .50.
So if the trend continues, "Pebble is going to be huge" when it's trading at .25, and of course "Pebble is going to be huge when it's trading at .20... then .15.... then .10.....
$NAK...Oh my....Just sayin'
Op-Ed: Alaska’s Pebble Mine Somehow Just Got Worse

NAK has been in a slow Death Spiral from 3.50 all the way down to .50. Shareholders are now in danger of losing their entire investment. The warnings posted here have been 100% correct. Continuing to ignore them invites further financial disaster.
We will see if those who have been 100% correct about this mining disaster continue to be right, or those who have been 100% incorrect about this mining disaster continue to be incorrect, eventually losing their entire "Investment." The price crashing from 3.50 all the way down to .50, and the loss of yet another financial partner, strongly suggests who to believe.
Keep believing that. Massive dilution is the next step for NAK. They will have to issue hundreds of millions of shares to pay the bills. Then the inevitable Reverse Split to totally wipe out current shareholders.
Lol... I have been hearing "the shorts will get killed" all the way down from 3.50 to .50. The only ones who "got killed" were the longs who did not listen to the warning posted here and desperately held on to their stock, or even worse, "averaged down".
Political unrest and riots in Venezuela had something to do with that. When things settle down, the stock should move back up as long as the price of Gold cooperates.
