LOL, your post is too comical to warrant a civil response.
Robert
Well, i'd be the first to yell 'SCAM' if I believed that to be the case, but all info that I have uncovered doesn't support that theory.
Not sure why your so convinced that it is as you haven't posted anything in support of that arguement.
Good luck with your other investments.
Robert
ps. I see your anti-IBCS, I got a bit of personal history with Daryn from day one with that stock. Suffice to say that he doesn't like me much, lol.
I have no specific plan at all. I got a map of a couple of the properties and was planning on trespassing as much as necessary to walk the land and take a few pictures. Best case scenario, I was hoping to find either activity on-site or else signs of recent activity. I may even pay a visit to couple of locals there whom I have talked with via phone.
Really nothing much more serious than to waste a day sight seeing, lol.
I'm south of Calgary right near the US border. I do have some cotacts at the University as I served on the BOG of the UofL for some time and did quite a bit of cross border networking.
Robert
Your patience and restraint is enviable. Somewhere around the 6 month mark I'd be phoning him at home at 11pm getting him out of bed and asking whether he'd like to clarify things for me on the phone or if it would be easier for me to drop over for a coffee and a chat? LOL.
You definitely deserve to see some performance here.
Robert
ask them what?
If you supply me with a way to find them, call them, or contact them while i'm down there I'll ask em just about anything.
My impression regarding posters who keep 'name dropping' them here is that they know next to nothing about them and keep hoping that by baiting the board somebody with more information will volunteer it. How am I doing so far?
Robert
Absolutely! I used to follow newly listed and delisted issues and noticed a definite trend that many small stocks that slipped off 'higher' exchanges (except those dropped for nasty reasons) actually experienced increases in share price as long as they remained transparant to investors. I had expected that once delisted the stocks would continue to slide in value, but this just wasn't the case.
Veltex doesn't quite fit that story and it's not a good excuse for them not to provide info to investors. All the growth and expansion in the world, but they will not reach the turning point until they do that simplest of things, be open and honest with their information. They don't have investor confidence and respect and will not until they earn it. Until then.... same old same old.
Robert
On a happy note, I'm going to the Calgary Stampede tomorrow and picking up my car on the way home. I'm about ready to take my Montana tour, just trying to arrange some companionship for the drive, lol.
I'll take pics and find some way of posting them for all to see.
Robert
I wish we did know who financed it and the details. It would clear up a lot for me and make it much easier to ascertain the true value of the stock.
Until we see details I assume that it was a 'cash for stock' transaction and we know only the cash part of the equation.
Maybe it is an unsecured loan, maybe it is a percentage of future earnings they have committed, maybe its 1 billion shares, maybe its a $1 million dollar debenture convertible at the closing market price on a certain date. I don't know and nobody seems to want to say. But I do know that at the current share price $1 million dollars equates to a boat load of stock and there aren't that many ways to retain control of a small company and raise that much capital.
Robert
I'm not saying they want to print shares. I'm saying they want to explore and the only way then can get money to do so is to issue shares in exchange for $1 million dollars. Delta's concern and focus is on exploring, shareholder value and stock price are secondary at this point in time. Something which ironically is a good thing for long term investors but bad for short term people hoping for a quick buck.
I'd personally rather see my long term investments temporarily decrease because the company is focused upon building the business, than see the share price temporarily increase because the company is focused upon pumping its value. This is only good for short term and day trades, but most of those companies are truly fluff and scams and not something that you want to put under the mattress. I think Delta is better than that.
Robert
Just to clarify where I get my estimation of 1.5 billion outstanding shares fully diluted, as there are some who think it is much much lower and some who are more interested in the float.
The latest number provided by the company last year was someting like 600 milion shares. Since that time it is safe to assume that they have sold shares from treasury to fund operations and possibly paid for services (ie. Livak, the audio stock tout, board compensation, etc) with free trading shares.
A look at the price/volume chart will show that almost every large volume day this stock has had was a down day, a day where new shares were entering the market. A brief scan and adding of those days would lead one to conclude that there have been at least 100 million shares and upward dumped into the market. Even the debt that was recently settled (obviously through payment of shares) seen those shares sell into the market. So I conservatively speculated that prior to the financing the outstanding shares fully diluted to be 1 Billion.
I then made the assumption (yes i know the ass u and me thingy, but i figure its too late for me to pretend, lol) that in order to get $1 million in financing on a .002 stock, your going to have to pay approximately 1 Billion shares. Why? Because that is the only way anyone risks that kind of capital is in exchange for heavily discounted shares, warrant, and options. Granted these may be restricted, but they may also be convertible debentures, either way still contributing to an O/S that has to be over 1.5 Billion.
Hope that clears up where my speculating comes from. I asked the TA the O/S, and they would not reveal it. I asked Alex for the financing details and he stated he did not have them. I could be wrong, but experience tells me that I am probably not far off base.
Robert
ps. I love it when this board gets down to arguing and discussing this sort of thing, I think it makes us all better invetors. Thanks.
I apologise freshner, that was certainly not my intent.
I think there are less than one or two posters here who does not believe that the company is well intentioned and is currently more interesed in actually finding diamonds then in selling stock for an income. I do believe they are making their best efforts, and in the meantime are completely oblivious and unconcerned about the stockprice/outstanding shares. Once again, i also think this is superior to the many stocks out there who's primary concern is the stock and secondly the business.
I'm not looking for a lower entry point, I'm waiting for a higher one, if that makes any sense. If they produce some kind of news and results that can 'WOW' the market and I see a change in direction, thats when i will pull the trigger. I'm not looking to time a bottom as I would have been wrong at least 3 times so far on this stock and never would have expected to see it as low as it is currently.
Robert
sorry to sound so negative in that 'too long' post. I'm just trying to be realistic.
Ya we all want to hit the penny stock lottery, but the myth of short selling subpenny stocks is the biggest fallacy and scam ever created by snake oil salesmen. Every investor wants to believe that his bulletproof CEO wouldn't lie to him, dump shares and pocket the cash, and wants nothing more then to make his shareholders as wealthy as he is. It just isnt the case.
Short selling is not rocket science. It is far easier to pick stocks that are going down or that are total scams. Remember A@P? He was a scumbag crook, but everyone of the companies he trashed was truly a scam and was heading down.
Why is DMXP at .0018? The simple answer is because 2,3, 4 maybe 9 hundred million shares have been created and started to flow into the market in recent past. Absolutely there could be naked short shares in a hypothetical world, but much more likely they were issued directly by the company and they can tell you exaclty how many there are and where they went. No need for conspiracy theories here, just get the details on the financing and you will catch your culprit.
Robert
ps. I blew the rear end out of my racecar this week, but as soon as its out of the shop I'm going to take it for a Montana cruise and hopefully see for myself that there is activity onsite. I too am optimistic that they will find a diamond or two, despite my reservations regarding all pinkies and penny stocks.
I don't want to sound rude, so please don't take this as a personal attack, but your analysis of shorting is not even remotely accurate.
First of all, there are very few people I know, including myself, who have brokerage accounts which allow shorting of pennys (not to mention sub-pennies). Yes it is possible, but I bet you dollars to doughnuts that you can spend an hour on the phone and you will not find a brokerage who would let you short this stock. However, if you have the right brokerage, equity position, and track record, you would find that is most certainly possible. Just improbable. (the margin requirements are unbelievable and make the potential return not worthwhile)
Secondly, to speculate as to the risk/reward of shorting the stock, considering that there is currently massively dilutive financing apparantly taking place and the stock hit a new historic low today, down is as likely as up at this point. Not to mention that you could probably throw $100k directly at the company and buy 100 Million shares right from the treasury without any trouble. I have absolutely zero doubt you could cover any short postion without any delay or risk.
As for $1 a share, they could dig up a bag of cut diamonds and they wouldn't reach that amount. There has to be a billion and a half shares currently outstanding, and even economically viable properties wouldn't support a market cap that high. I'd say a more logical optimistic maximum valuation would be about 5 cents, but this could be more accurately be determined by looking at the value of other established exploration companies that have found solid prospects.
Now from .0016 to 5 cents is still a hell of a return and I'd love to ride that train. However, since i have been following this stock the only ones whom have made any profits have been those who have traded the momo or anyone who rode it down.
Well, it did hit a new 52 week low like i predicted back on June 10th, but there wasn't a bounce off of it. Maybe the bounce will happen tomorrow.
Definitely a large amount of shares were sold into the market today for not much money, maybe 30 or 40k bucks. At some point they are going to have to do a reverse split to get this thing up to a more liquid and tradable price range. It is inevitable as far as I can see as I estimate the outstanding shares, options, and warrants to now be in excess of 1 billion and probably closer to 2 billion fully diluted. I doubt we will be provided this information as facts anytime in the near future, and they may be wise to reverse prior to any sampling results being released.
Hopefully they will dig up something that will make the claims have some legitimate value before they have to sacrafice current shareholders equity. I'd love to trade this one on some momentum, but would be nervous holding with current situation.
Whats it going to be diamonds or rust?
Robert
Someone sold into the news. Sitting at the historic low once again of .0018 I only wish they were more transparant with the financing terms because obviously it contains something which is not as rosy as it appears.
Robert
Your enthusiasm is hardly concealed by your careful choice of nickname, lol.
What will happen if you ever get so bold as to invest in a second stock?
Robert
If u want to post like a dumass take ur mouth someplace else. I won't put up with it here. Get it?
Robert
Alex is not Delta. He is hired contractor, much the same as the kid who mows your grass, and while his actions mentioned in the preceeding point to someone with financial troubles, they have nothing directly to do with this company. Delta can't control what their hired contractors do in their personal lives anymore than they can control what their shareholders do.
That being said, at some point Delta needs to consider hiring professional IR services from an established and reputable source. At the current point in time, share price and promotion are not in the business plan. I'd be more concerned if they were.
Robert
thanks gump,
i was just trying to get a grasp on the real magnitude of the current situation.
I assume that the majority of us on these boards are trader/penny players who jump around between the different pink/bb/smallcaps, and to have 50 million missing from the collective trading capital is quite significant. Had investors not had that amount of money tied up and possibly lost for good here, it could have moved in and out of dozens of other pennies several times creating a lot mmore market liquidity.
Definitely ripples will be felt through out the entire market from this situation, even for those of us who avoided this one.
Robert
Can anyone tell me
to any approximate dollar amount, approximately how much money CMKX raised through the sale of shares? Even a guestimate would suffice. Is it like 5 million, 50 miliion, 500 million, 5 billion??? Can someone figure some estimate of how much investor money has been sucked out of the marketplace and is tied up in this at the current time?
Robert
"Their intential misuse of terminology makes them look like bigger fools"
I agree, very foolish to not use proper terminology, especially when it is intential.
ps.
we need a new word for Scam.
lol
my pick: NWAU
Robert
yes i think QOIL based on the rules, and I also support the share price rule of 5 cents, even though i personally like subpennies.
Regardless, whatever the rules are, thats what the rules will be.
Robert
rules are rules. they were clearly posted in advance of all picks.
Well i'm sure anyone who got in at 2.50 was happy with 4.00
I think your money is well placed if you dont need it for other ventures. I might be inclined to reduce my position to just below the 5% level. It might make it a little easier/private to manage your holdings. Just a thought.
Robert
Over $4 and looking very strong. Any news on company improvement or growth will pushh this one beyond $6 in one session. Congrats to those who took a position.
Robert
LOL, well I think I made my point then, lol. Yea a tornado. Funny thing is our WHL hochey team is the 'hurricanes' so I always subsittute that word by accident.
Robert
wowza, hurricane warning here for the first time, I seen the funnel starting and headed out to photograph it. AMAZING! I was about 400 yards away from it and it was shaking the hell out of my car. Had to be winds in excess of 70 miles an hour. What a rush!
Also, I have to run down to Montana right away and pick up some parcels the courier is dropping off for me. I'll see if I can get time enough to head east to a couple of the properties.
Robert
honest? "Ugh, we got a few diamond claims that we control indirectly or have some sort of handshake arrangement on, and we got this race car ( i've always wanted to sponsor a race car) and i could sure use a few million dollars. Is anyone interested in buying enough shares that we can all get rich off of you?"
Somehow i don't think it would have enticed as many suckers if they were honest.
Well the guy who started the board seems to have done some DD on Herman, I haven't have time to start that yet, but it seems that the previos ownerhsip did not have much intention or focus upon growing the company substantially or promoting the stock itself. New ownership should improve either or both of these aspects and increase shareholder value for you.
You large position is a significant chunk to have in one place for such a long period of time. Hopefully you will be rewarded soon and have a 7 figure asset here.
Robert
Hi Ron,
are you still in the oil and gas business? I'm here in southern Alberta so I can't look out a window without seeing a rig, lol.
Pyramid looks like a solid little small producer. Nothing fancy or glamorous but small, stable, and potential to expand and capitalize on the current prices.
Robert
Proof? lol. you would have to be diagnosed as clinically retarded to have not known this to be a scam from the beginning.
Robert
My Pick: DMXP
hopefully next week, but fore sure the next few months. This one is easy money if traded right.
Robert
Anyone posting too early should be DQ'd, lol.
damn i love functions!
damn, i was going to pick ABCD this week and now you've taken it right away.
Robert
er ya, thats what i meant. I always want to call it KY junction, lol, I dont know why?
Theres a place here where i live that hs exposed volcanic rock and the local rock hounds pick little garnets out of it just by sniping through it. I don't have any idea if it is also a kimberlite, but it is on the surface as well.
If i should happen to leave with a pocket of rocks, anything in particular i should try to take or just gravel in general?
Robert
SPAZ has returned to profitability and is looking to capitalize on the recent trend of multimedia in handheld devices such as cell phones. Definitely one to watch as I expect there will be announcements regarding a partnership to distribute with samsung into the chinese market in the future.
Robert
The olico index?
