I think you are exactly right about the validation. Who would put down $100,000 without proof of the product? Even an insanely rich person would want proof before putting down that much money and signing their name to something.
It works...we just have to wait a little longer to see it working.
It would be awesome if you could post pictures or some other way to confirm what you are saying. Most of us here are longs and JB's word is good enough but it would be nice to able to slap something in front of the doubters that they couldn't refute.
Regardless welcome to iHub and if you are in a position to share more, legally, then we welcome it!
- last post for the day - see everyone on Tuesday. I'm starting to hate market holidays.
I think if they made a machine that used a cup 1/3 the size of the current cup then it could work. Most here in Peru are extremely poor so even a $1 cup of popcorn would be seen as too expensive to bother with for a lot of people. However take that down to 1 Peruvian Nuevo Sol and that makes it much more viable.
It is an interesting idea to be sure. I will think on it some more. I wonder how much it would cost to ship one down here....
Ok grant and seabreezing - I don't have PM so sorry to put this up on the main board.
I refuse to believe that tech saying this is disrespectful to JB or JBII in any way.:
The number of reasons on the side of belief in the validity of this being a winner outweigh the number on the side of this being a scam.
didn't see your post grant...seems like we were thinking the same thing.
Not bad at all. I wish I made that much a year...even gross.
Even once you take out the cost of those ten machines (40k for the 7000, 50k at least for the 9000) you make a nice bit of change the first year and pay off your machines. Second year you will be making money hand over fist.
Oh and that doesn't count any advertising revenue from the 9000 model.
Agreed.
We will have to disagree on the appropriateness of using the 'scam' word in a post...especially one where you are saying that JBII doesn't look like a scam.
I agree with you on everything else. Indeed those coming here citing reasons that JBII is a scam or will fail have been proven wrong with the facts available at all opportunities.
Truly they will have nothing left to say after the shareholders meeting, or a PR or news release showing the viability of a P2O machine. I know I'm getting anxious to see it just to shut up all the doubters.
Not to defend tech, if he wants to be defended he can do it himself....however
Can we not go to such crazy idolistic/fanatical extremes to say that someone cannot even put the word "scam" in a post without it being disrespectful to JB? Tech's post was a good one and his point about the S word was that their is far more proof showing this to be legit than the opposite.
Let's not be hasty here. To do otherwise stifles healthy debate/conversation.
Yeah distraction is key. Especially if they can match movie previews with movies currently in a Redbox or Blockbuster kiosk. You can make your decision while waiting on the popcorn, get your movie and then go.
I think someone had mentioned that before, the advertisement pairing. Indeed it seems like a win win.
Um...I'm referring to the general unwillingness for Americans to wait for anything. Can you imagine a long line of people waiting to get fresh popcorn in the northern states during winter? Well maybe they will because they are so used to the cold but then again they may just decide to sacrifice quality for being warm in their homes on a couch waiting for the microwave to finish it's work.
All I'm saying is that time is a factor that has to, and will be, considered.
I didn't refer to any other way to receiving popcorn....so I'm not sure what you're referring to.
Pop'n'Go shareholder here, just pointing out one hurdle that can be overcome but needs to be considered.
That's interesting. Living in Peru I have not had the joys of using the Redbox.
Seems simple though, set your popcorn popping and pick your movie out. Nice.
Looks good. I love this machine and the health factor of it but my one hold out is that it takes so long to get your popcorn. Americans are generally an impatient lot so it will be interesting to see if people are continually willing to wait 2+ minutes to get their popcorn.
You have to hand it to the Canadians. No weak sports for them.
Al sosusa's name is not verififiable and even if it was who cares.
$7.92
Ok, just looked it up. Do online brokers like TD Ameritrade let you do things like this?
It sounds kind of risky for a small fish like me....but then again I've already put more money in this than I technically should have. The risk has paid off nicely for me so far and since JB continues to execute there doesn't seem to be much risk going forward.
I'm not sure what that means..buying on margin.
Off to Google I go.
You have no real, valid reason to expect a halt.
Please provide a link from the SEC citing their reasons for halting trading of a company that released a large number of material events in multiple PR's.
In fact JB could have been halted if they had not filed those PR's. Get over yourself.
Correct. My greatest regret is that I only had the $200 I had at $0.26 when I first bought in to JBI. I flipped it a couple of times as it yo-yo'd between $1 so I could get up my measly 3000 shares. I've since added and will continue to add as I have money available.
My beef is that cannot have it both ways. JBI cannot be holding back info or going to slowly with P2O one day and then be rushing the PR's the next day providing too much information.
How is it bad for a company to strive for integrity? Don't you want a company that you invest in to hold itself to high ethical standards and to let the market know that it is handling itself ethically and correct?
I have yet to hear JB stand up and say "Look at me. I am ethical. I have huge amounts of integrity."
It's everyone else that is calling him ethical and touting his integrity. That can only be a good sign.
I have zero complaints. I have a few wishes...but no complaints.
Oh and I'm shareholder also.
Hilarious. You ask "why the rush" and imply that the company's efforts at keeping us informed are a red flag.
Doesn't it seem like every single day, multiple times a day, someone complains that the P2O processor hasn't been shown in a video or the numbers from it aren't available? Someone complains that this info or that piece of data isn't available yet so JBI must be a scam.
Oh and any calls to the naysayers to be patient and wait for PR's, or a CC, or for the shareholders meeting (which we've known for months would have a fully operational processor working for display) is met with derision or simply ignored.
JB has been very forthright and honest on everything he has said so far so when he tells us that the vast majority of those deals weren't completed until two days ago which is why they couldn't release the PR's regarding them any sooner...I tend to believe him. Heck they didn't get one done in time so they had to release a PR on a Saturday just a little while before the CC. If anything the only "rushing" that is happening is the company making sure we the shareholders and you the doubters know they are the real deal so their good names and reputations can stop being slandered.
Bottom line is to date JBI, INC has done everything they can to release material events on time. The CEO of the frickin company is more transparent than any other 200 CEO's by making himself available to answer non-material questions on FB or through email or phone calls.
(this post wasn't entirely to you legion so i hope you don't feel personally attacked)
"We aren't focused on short term earnings that would cost us long term highly profitable strategies."
JB said this about 5:20 in on the conference call. That's as good an answer as I've heard in response to questions such as "Why, if what he found about P2O is so amazing, does he not just sell the idea for millions and move on.
It's because in the long run he wants to make billions and see the job done right.
Amy,
Love what you're doing with the websites. Thanks for all of your hard work!
In a followup on his status post JB said:
"If the barriers to entry weren't so high we'd develop it ourselves but we are rather busy and biohazard waste is not our core competency. However, Jacob Smith our COO understands this field and is assisting... I really like medical waste now. If you do the math you'll see we get paid almost as much to process the waste as we do for the fuel. "
The only word I can think of is Awesome.
Thanks for posting this here.
Hopefully it will be more than just a demo plant. Imagine the reaction if they show off a plant they've had running for a month and can give specific numbers on production....
I know I'll be adding a little more before then if I get the chance.
Anyone care to speculate on how the Air Filtration company will fit into JBI? I have so far been unable to think of anything incredibly synergistic.
Receiving orders from various hotel chains for Pak-it Products.
Caught Best Western...
P2O site applications received from: UK, Ireland, Switzerland (and a host of states in the US).
Going global much faster than some of us may have expected. Awesome.
Since we're being extremely picky....
You said that they are located: "at the same address, in the same suite..."
Actually the address for AS PTO LLC doesn't list the suite. It's entirely possible they are in different suites. Maybe even on different floors! Maybe the businesses are located in different places but Raymond uses the same address for all mail.
Who knows. Best idea right now is just to wait for answers.
Just think about the possibilities that might stem from JBII receiving government dollars for their P2O arm. One could guess that it might open doors, or at least present opportunities, to present their other services to the government.
On a side note, and I know I stated this earlier, I still would love to know if all of those people, that were whining about LOI's not being valid and all that other crap, are happy now that the company has received reservation donations (one for $100,000). This surely signifies that P2O is real and has been proven to the extent that people want to enter these agreements. Even if we haven't seen it yet doesn't this show that someone has, and they were happy with what they saw?
30 minutes till the CC. I doubt I'll get to listen live but I'll catch the recording later.
I look forward to hearing about how this new company fits into JBI's business strategy. Adding green companies...and profitable ones at that....what's not to like?
JBI, Inc. (OTCBB:JBII) is pleased to announce that the Company has executed an LOI for its planned acquisition of a profitable U.S. air filtration and custom air ventilation company.
That would be nice because he could do a much smaller offering at $30 and then do another one later on at $50 (or wherever) and raise even more money.
The future is bright.
I wonder how long we need to hold a price around $18 (the price JB mentioned offhand a while back) before they consider doing a PIPE.
Anyone remember how many shares JB has left that he can return? I remember 9 million...but that could be wrong.
He hasn't done so yet. I doubt he ever will.
How can anyone complain about the amount of news a company chooses to release? As long as the PR's didn't contain any false information this seems like a big solid Win for the JBI team.
To all those who were complaining about LOI's not meaning anything until money was being exchanged:
ES Resources has made a reservation deposit in the amount of $100,000.00 to confirm its interest in purchasing a License for the marketing and exploitation of the Plastic2Oil technology from AS PTO, LLC on behalf of JBI.
A great sign of progress is that JB has been able to hire the people (from sales personnel to ship captains to VP's). How many companies out there can't move forward because they can't afford to hire the necessary staff?
It makes me wonder for a split second where we're going to get the money to pay them...then I remember the matrix...and everything else that is coming down the road.
Looking forward to the CC tomorrow.
