Is the world ending or did JBI just successfully sell oil produced from plastic waste...just as it claimed to be able to do all along?
What a happy day my trading account is going to have.
Would you expect S-S to put out a PR about this, or somehow update their own shareholders about this? Obviously it is a much bigger deal for JBI than S-S but I am unsure of the protocol. If JBI is required to file it, wouldn't S-S also be required or does JBI's posting cover the both of them?
Well now this company should definitely lend some credibility (already earned of course) to JBI. Can't wait to hear about the first confirmed JV from a S-S referral. Also still looking forward to reports of sales.
Anyone have a wild guess of the open tomorrow?
Haven't had a lot of time to read the board this week, well since watching the most excellent appearance of John on BNN. Seriously - that man will probably never wear a suit...and it works for him.
Anyway following his comment that he expected sales this week (which just ended) what is the speculation on a PR of the sale? I reckon his comment on TV wasn't enough to necessitate a disclosure or we'd have one by now. Here's hoping for next week!
I hope someone is recording this. Would love to watch it later when I get a chance. Good news.
Hey I missed this news. Where did we get this info?
Good news to be sure.
Can you provide proof that it hasn't happened?
Didn't think so.
Do you seriously expect to have him publish his daily schedule for the likes of you, or us, to peruse? Does Steve Jobs send me a personal email to let me know when he goes to get a cup of coffee? I had to wait for a public announcement to hear that the Mac App Store was indeed released today. Surely he should have told me that three weeks ago.....
Would you consider it safe to assume that FEDEX has more than one facility in all of Canada? What about HP and the other companies listed there...
These days Vibraclean, which has 150 employees, is known for eco-conscious cleaning and counts Federal Express Canada, Siemens Canada and Hewlett-Packard Canada among its clients. The company uses Green Seal-certified products, whose eco-claims have been tested and verified.
While you are correct in that the article only mentions one facility specifically I would wager that between those three large companies and all of their locations, not to mention the other locations Vibraclean services, the impact on Pak-IT sales is significant.
EDIT: For fairness' sake I will concede that it is unlikely that this one small company could service all of the locations these companies must run. I still support my claim that the impact on sales will be significant. Guess we'll have to wait till the quarterly report to see how significant.
Also not a bad idea. Though for the most part it would be a boring video stream...
Well...having made lots of videos for various purposes I can confirm that it would take less than a day to film that happening, upload the video onto the computer, cut out whatever parts they want (or better yet just leave it!), and upload it onto some server on the interwebs.
I bet it takes them more than a day to publish sales numbers. Though again I'd rather see sales numbers than a video...but it could easily be done.
While it might be unnecessary WHEN the fuel is being sold it would make for quite the cool video to publicize while the fuel is not being sold.
Show the whole process - plastic full truck showing up, feeding the machine, showing the output go directly into engines of varying sizes and purposes and showing those engines running with no issue.
Sure the naysayers will call it a hoax but for us it would make for neat watching.
What do you think of 4 of the top executives leaving the company (quit or fired)
Are you including Amy in that number? If so did you ever provide proof, other than your "source", to substantiate that claim? If you, or someone else, hasn't been able to really prove that and the company hasn't announced it I'd stop saying it.
I think you'd be hard pressed to find where the company specifically promised you 250 processors by now. Or maybe you wouldn't be hard pressed...but to make that claim it would be nicer if you did it with a link.
Members of this board have speculated about that...but it's just speculation.
That to me is the most promising development of the past few weeks. To have been granted permission to proceed (the DEC has never done that before) is huge.
Whether or not they will meet their deadlines remains to be seen. I have confidence though that they will.
If you go back a few hundred posts you'll find the detailed list of things JBI has to do over the next year (I think). Each milestone in this permitting process has a date to be accomplished by.
I don't think they have a choice. I think if they miss one of those dates they'll have to start over...or I don't know what would happen but at least we know when to expect the process to be completed.
Sales aren't even a slight challenge. Coming right up IMO.
I agree. That's a PR we're all waiting to see. Looking forward to making some money in 2011.
Not hard to understand his concern Z. For most of us there wasn't a lot of 'incredible' new information. The new hire (awesome), mentioning Waste Management (awesome), a look into the business model they hope to use...all good things. However it seemed like the majority of the presentation was spent discussing the processor itself, something I feel like he's done before and was available (the shareholders meeting presentation?) for those that needed that technical discussion.
My thinking is they didn't have to waste the money for two PR's and a webex conference. They could have recorded him explaining the processor with the pictures and slapped it up on the website. One PR to cover all the bases and done.
- holding what I've got and looking forward to a new year and finally some fuel sales!
not sure what the 'interactive' part of that conference call was. good info but still..
Quite a lot. I'm number 801...
Can't wait to hear how he "isn't qualified." Can't imagine how he wouldn't be.
Good hire it seems.
The web version should include audio as well, correct?
Just curious as they are giving me phone numbers to join the teleconference. Thought the web part would be all inclusive.
If shareholders are lucky, Mr. Bordynuik will tell them what is currently holding up production and sales at today's conference call.
Wasn't permission by the DEC to produce and sell their product what was holding them up? Surely you meant to say that hopefully we'll hear that, because of the DEC's approval they have begun producing/selling.
At least in the state of NY they weren't authorized to sell what fuel they were producing. I suspect they were waiting for permits and clearance so as to avoid any wrongdoings.
Seems responsible don't you think?
True. As I said they still have to prove they can sell what they produce. I think they will indeed be able to, even if it is at a discount at first which I'm not sure will be the case.
If they come through on their cost estimate, or even close ($10 or so) they can afford to sell at a slight discount.
The spike came yesterday...did you see it?
Oh and they should be able to sell a drop or a million drops starting...yesterday.
Of course it is still up to them to find a buyer and actually sell the stuff so they still have a few things to prove.
Since they are now authorized to sell whatever fuel that has been produced through their limited production phase/test runs do you think we'll see income from this in the next quarterly report?
I sure hope so.
And how many processors do they want to have up and running at their site in NY alone? It was around 5 correct?
A-Team = Freakin hilarious.
What convinced you to see Eclipse in the first place?
Amex should still be a possibility assuming they get the financials figured out. I think its possible he applied for both exchanges at the same time.
I may be remembering wrong on that though (the apps).
Harp on it all you want but do you really think he's the only CEO ever to have signed off on a report that he was told was correct by people he thought knew what they were talking about?
Does it suck that the filing was wrong? Yes.
Is it good that they acknowledged it and are taking care of it? Yes.
I guess maybe it will be in the future. You'd have to ask those involved if anything has gone forward with this yet.
No clue. I just remember seeing that awhile ago...or some other news about that venture.
Also it still refers to JBI, Inc as 310 Holdings. Name and symbol changed awhile ago.
Dag yo, that is old news.
In fact zardiw has broken up the portion about P2O into a set of youtube videos and has been posting them.
The entire presentation of the general meeting is available online in video format. Visit jbiglobal.com to download it.
So is the preposterous notion that he spends all his every day writing two sentence facebook messages.
However I don't see any naysayers having any trouble with that...
No telling.
I just hope they can stick with them for awhile. This is their fourth company in a year...correct?
Beat me to it.
Do they fit the bill for a 'large national firm'? Seems like it to me.
Interesting right? Does this mean that gately & associates helped them with this quarters report and it will come out on time? Or will they delay, file an extension (I'm assuming it's possible), and let the new guys do it?
