Not a reverse merger but an acquisition, if that brief description of the LOI is accurate. But much the same result.
That would certainly make sense. They have great technology to grow algae, so why not apply it to other plants? I agree that this has to be a big deal to warrant all that legal and accounting work after years of silence. Lots more filings posted on OTC Markets today:
http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/AVNE/filings
More on AVNE, with its 2.5 million float (I posted the wrong float number here a couple of weeks ago). They just filed a new financial statement for 2011 and 2012 on OTC Markets, with a disclosure at the end about an LOI for an acquisition. I guess we'll have to wait for a PR from them to find out what kind of company they're potentially acquiring or merging with.
"On June 20, 2013 the Company entered a confidential "letter of Intent" to acquire certain
business, assets and intellectual properties of a California medical research group. The
group focuses their efforts on certain published properties and patented medical
extraction processes. The Company intends to expand the licensing opportunities of the
acquired assets."
Another piece of the puzzle disclosed on AVNE in new financial statement for 2011 and 2012 just filed on OTC Markets, with disclosure of an LOI for an acquisition:

AVNE - new financial statement for 2011 and 2012 filed on OTC Markets, with disclosure of an LOI for an acquisition. What do you suppose they're saying here?

AVNE .16 x .20. Filed annual report with OTC Markets this week after years of no official info.
Freely tradable shares = 3,638,081.
O/S = 21,677,581 common, 4,050,000 preferred.
AVNE - from annual report filed 7/9 with OTC Markets. Freely tradable shares = 3,638,081.
O/S = 21,677,581 common, 4,050,000 preferred.
AVNE!!
Yes, if that's the stock you are interested in, you have come to the right place.
but! the Chart looks fantastic, there it should not be in way of a thick course increase
As they say on the infomercials, "But wait! There's more."
Wouldn't be surprising if it pulls back a few cents for now. That was a pretty nasty spike. However, it does look like we'll be heading to the .20s and .30s or higher.
AVNE .105 x .145, last at .117 which is a two-year high. Float is 3,638,081. 23,527,581 common outstanding, 4,050,000 preferred outstanding. A/S is 150M common, 100M preferred.
They just filed an annual report on OTC Markets last night, so that combined with the recent trickle of volume and price increase makes me think there is some sort of deal in the works. Joint venture with USFF reported a couple of months ago but this may be something new....
AVNE .105 x .145, last at .117. Just filed annual report on OTC Markets last night after several years of official silence. Reported float as 3,638,081, so the mythical "float lockdown" is truly a possibility here.
This is also noteworthy:
"On April 29, 2013 the Company entered into a Joint Venture with US Fuel Corporation, (OTC:
USFF) with the intention of integrating the Company’s algae photo bioreactor process with US
Fuel’s coal-to-liquid system planned for Muhlenberg County and Perry County, Kentucky."
This is surely the first step of... something. There would be no reason to spend the money and effort on filing unless some kind of deal is in the works. With a 3,638,081 float, this could get a lot more interesting in a hurry.
Something is imminent.
From an 8-K that's a treasure trove of ooopses. The transfer agent was caught red-handed (if not red-faced):
For that reason and other reasons aforementioned the Company is of the opinion that its transfer agent is acting as rouge party issuing XXXX certificates without its consent.
Consequently, the company intends to:
secure the service of a non-bias or neutral transfer agent whose actions will in no way harm the company its shareholders valuation
And this one speaks for itself:
On or about July 1 2013 Company management executed an LOI to acquire the rights tittle interest license and or operations of a Maltese based entity www.pantufagroup.com consisting of on line type brokerage business in the space of Forex Options and Bullion.
Better than the PMs blaming the likes of you for their pinks' plummeting prices.
In other words, "the MMs loaded up!"?
Ahhh, the poor children, but it shows how prenatal testing has advanced:
The issue will be mute.
obviouly he doesn't know his s from his, errr, never mind
Shady is putting it mildly. Now most of his comped picks come from StockMister, and 90% of them suck, so they are even starting to screw up his uncomped list-builder picks of completely illiquid stocks that he sets in motion.
BTW the disclaimer I posted came from his email this morning, so I guess he put the wrong one on the website (accidentally or intentionally).
Not to quibble, just the facts :)
"We have been compensated ninety thousand dollars cash via bank wire to conduct investor relations advertising and marketing pertaining to DPHS by a third party, Equities Awareness Group."
Psycho got $90K for DPHS. He's probably still ok for the uncomp'd stuff.
It is waking up from its long slumber.
Love The random Caps.
This is just about the strongest Kool-Aid I've seen. One poster has held this thinly traded, never-profitable stock for many years (I forgot how many) and claims to have had something like $700,000 on paper disappear. It's currently 8.05 x 25.00 and has traded a few hundred shares this year, in total. There is one of those phantom short conspiracies going on, with the inevitable impending MOASS, despite no evidence whatsoever of any short position. But he is still spouting delusional stuff like this:
"One thing that really makes my boat float is the fact that it's not difficult at all to take it down. Just buy 100 at $25.00 and sell them for $8.00 or you could sell 100 short at $8.00.
Both choices are kind of funny."
"Big whales" who "will crush it tomorrow" sounds a lot like those cheezy "savvy investors" we were always waiting for. Funny how a lot of these guys sound the same.
"The Company believes that greater revenues and net profits are ahead as it continues to receive license, royalty and other revenues from its commercialized products."
You don't loose [sic] if you don't sell!!!
Load the boat!
That is funny (i.e., vitreous humor).
Wow, nice on WLGC. I was trading it and VSUL repeatedly for pennies a few months ago - now VSUL is right in the range where it was then, but WLGC has gone nuts.
It's hard to come up with new things to say every month and new ways to say the old things. It's commendable that they're doing the videos at all, and saying "good things are coming" isn't material info so that's not a problem. They're not going to spend any money or resources on promoting the stock, and maybe Dr. Tate does feel defensive when stockholders push him on that, but I agree that commenting on "daytrading" is silly.
C'mon, you're being too hard on poor CYIO. Sure, it didn't trade in the last 7 sessions, but it HAS traded in 3 of the last 18 :)
And over that period, the last sale price has climbed from .025 to .02.
Looks like fund buying. Let's see how much more they want, and how quickly.
IMSC is just quietly going about its business. Looks good.
But... but... they've retained an accounting firm! Surely you don't doubt that this is HUGE NEWS!!?? :)
There are lots of senile citizens out there who should be ready to get even with those who short legitimate stocks.
MMs are grabbing AND shaking... right THERE?! Anywhere but there!
