Metrolane - Happy Easter! Certainly not the most appropriate day to criticize, but I must agree with you wholeheartedly. When someone conceals information, refuses to share material facts under some misguided ruse, misleads, misrepresents, and refers to Lanza as being "a good family man", one must consider the underlying motives.
Happy Easter to all, including our man of highest Integrity!
I wonder at what price a BOE will need to be before AWEC commences w/ Geary location...Anyone know? TIA.
Perhaps, just perhaps, a better analogy:
The Patient: Black Dragon
The attending Doctor you thought was your friend, failed to ask what was right or what was wrong with the patient...What healthy signs were present? What irrepairable injuries might be present? What remedies may be required? What should his immediate family be told about his condition? Instead, our trusted Doctor choose to simply, and publicly state, that the patient's CEO was a good family man - revealing nothing about the patient's rapidly deteriorating condition. UGH!
The Doctor you thought was behaving in your best interests, was simply covering his own A** by denying or withholding information that might be informationally beneficial to you -
The Doctor you put your trust into concealed material facts that would prove detrimental to, or expose those who were causing the pain.....
The one person who proclaimed integrity, honesty, and forthrighteousness turned out to be either (a) unable to ascertain or understand the actual facts, or (b) kept the data to himself to limit his own fiancial exposure, and to hide his lack of good, and proper judgement....
Just perhaps....this Doctor should be stripped of his physician's license, along with his nursing staff of Miss Represent, Miss Lead, and the ever present, Xavier Con.
Nice to see you fully awake, Spunky.
What would say to Lou if you ran into him in Jayne's establishment?
After seeing what Lanza and his "wonderful family" have been doing for the past DECADES - nothing should surprise any of us.
Metro - Surely you wouldn't expect a man of such high Integrity, and one who considers Joe Lanza to be a most righteous family man, to say anything disparaging about anything or anyone....??
Silly girl....
I would think that sweet Lou has finally come to the realization of the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth - as it is, as it was, and as it will always be.
Who knows, maybe he a had an uncontrollable crush on Miss Represent or maybe Miss lead....
Amen.
If you haven't been to Fuelmaker's website - put a huge smile on your face as you read about the contracts being signed across the globe - $65 Million/5 Yr with China - and More.
CLNE may have stolen this company at $17 M...
http://www.fuelmaker.com/News/FuelNews/
Thanks Alibi,
I wonder what else will be voted on that day.......
LGL - You'd have to go back to Lou's informative post where he told us all about his wonderful visit to Oil City and his dining in with the Lanza's. If memory serves, he posted that Lanza was a wonderful family man....
Miss Leed, Miss Represent, Ima Crook, and Xavier Con (call him "X') all were gracious in welcoming Lou.
You get the idea - an unsuspecting man of self-proclaimed Integrity is invited to dinner... Easy to con, Easier to Dupe.
I wonder if those Three employees are still:
Miss Leed,
Miss Represent,
and Ima Crook......
Something tells me this board is about to get quite active...
Nice article.
Jan 2010 Calls even nicer!
Do you know when that Ballot Initiative gets voted on?
TIA
Hmmmmm....SOS I see....
Nix on TEN.....How about < FIVE years?
I don't think Cramer expected that much of an advance - at least not so soon. Funny, he does typically shy from buying any stock close to earnings announcement .. believes any good news has already been factored in....For once, my timing was fortuitous!
Mr. Pickens has my vote!
Cramer also referenced FSYS (Fuel Systems) on that same program. I picked up some FSYS stock (Thank You Cramer!) as well as CLNE May 09 Call Options.
Hopefully their earnings announcement this Wednesday will match FYSS!!!!
Any thoughts on Wednesday's to-be-announced results, anyone?
Well, Lou's post certainly clears everything up -
The REAL reason BDGR has issued fraudulent Press Releases:
The REAL reason BDGR misrepresented Production Totals:
The REAL reason BDGR may fail completely:
The REAL reason BDGR can't locate their 10,000 BOE:
The REAL reason BD's board of directors change like the wind:
The REAL reason no one would tell us how many shares were outstanding:
The REAL reason we don't yet have an Audit:
is due solely to the fact you have failed to inspire others to invest in BDGR......That statement ranks right up there with "Lanza is a Good Family Man."
So, Soso, according to Lou, we have you to blame for BDGR's myriad of misappropriations, misrepresentations, and general malaise.
You, sir, should be ashamed of yourself. All this time I believed the culprits to be held accountable to be none other than Joseph Anthony Lanza, in cohorts with lovely wife Jayne, and outstanding citizen, son Mario, and the band of Lanza Clones making up the Board - Silly me.
I may never forgive you for what you have done to make Black Dragon into the mess it is now in.
Have you anything to say in your defense?
John,
"He personally knows the company has a lot of potential and value.."
I can't help but wonder if his knowledge comes from Lanza's mouth, Lanza's fraudulent PR's Doctored Documents, Miss Lead's mouth, or from Miss Represent's Mouth.....
I can't help but wonder if Lanza disclosed to him the amount of overrides, the percentages of ownership, the actual production and, most importantly, the amount of each producing well's production that results in revenue directly to BD..... DUH....
You can take that "knowledge" straight to a sewage treatment plant.
Soso - WOW! I never imagined I would be accused of being too generous to Lou....!
Believe it or not, there are people that have such poor judgement, and are consistently wrong - without having an agenda.
Of course, Lou might be so far invested in BDGR (After dining with the good family man & his wonderful family) and listening to lie after lie, after lie, after lie....he may not have been able to see clearly, or use good judgement, or have had an ability to weigh reality against a strong wish for upward PPS movement.
Wasn't Hitler often described as being a very good family man?
Those who knew him well - those who had dinner with him and possibly Eva - those who didn't ask the right questions and beleived the words he utterrred without so much as blinking -
Duped, Re-Duped, and Double Duped is the way I'd describe it.
No maliciousness, no falsehoods (albeit with holding pertinent data from this board) no outright lying -
If I were a betting man, I'd wager the farmstead that Lou was simply trying to do right by us all, and fell victim to the master of con-men.
Wait a minute - I am a betting man..... I'll take twelve September calls on that being the case.....
Re your coment: "Prospective from a former inner circle"
I very seriously doubt that Lou ever had the faintest hint of inner circle workings - Lanza would have seen to that. His famous posting of his trip to Oil City regarding having dinner with the gracious Lanzas at their home, and considering Lanza to be a "good family man" was more than enough for me.
Of the myriad of serious business questions he could have posed to Lanza, he apparently couldn't pose one.
Adding insult to injury, he defiantly posted, in answer to a request for how many shares were then outstanding - that I would be the last person he would tell.
No biggie there - I simply found out for myself and posted the number. Of course I was immediated blasted by Charts for throwing out a number that I surely must have picked straight out of the air. Hey - if Lou didn't know, how could I possibly know - Followed by an obscene and childish blast from another poster in denial - Maverick - for the same purported transgression of spewing forth irrevelant data.
(Didn't seem to generate any additional comments when the same number was final made known by others. Sigh.
Guess it goes to straight to the question of Integrity.....eh?
Kenco, I can certainly understand why you would think that - but, Lou really didn't post under two alias's.....his friend Marsnvest often works for him and likely used his PC - I do think Mars (despite his post denying so) posts on Lou's behalf - keeping Lou out of the line of fire. I suspect those two have no secrets between them.
I have met them both at the same time (Lou & Ed) along with a former CFO of BD for lunch a year or so ago. (seems like a decade).
As for issuing false PR's - again, I would think that Lou actually believed he was in some sort of control - ie; a new directorship role - distinct from his quasi-directorship appointment by the talented Mr. Joseph Anthony Lanza, aka J A Lanza, aka Joe Lanza, aka J Anthony Lanza, aka known as husband of Jayne Lanza, aka Father of Mario Lanza, aka.....
The latter explained more so by Lou's propensity for misjudging events and people.
Before I cause Lou to rise up and scream at me for trying to put words in his mouth, or to justify something that in his mind may need no justification, I'll go back to my cave.
Soso- as much you might believe to the contrary (based on his inability to produce or disclose anything) - I doubt very much Lou is working for Joe.
He may be exceptionally gullible. He may be exceptionally naive. He may be overmatched having no experience in dealing with someone so corrupt and adept at falsifying data. He may have very limited knowledge (or none at all) of oil fields, oil leases, Oil production and Oil distribution issues, etc.
I rather think it is simply a case of his being a lightweight
overmatched by a highly experienced, and life long, con man.
I can't imagine anyone, even Lou, investing even more money into BDGR (as he stated - to help BD make payroll) unless he had been firmly duped, re-duped, and summarily immersed in Lanza's soup of lies.
Basically, I do believe he's an honest person who thought he could somehow make a difference. (Not unlike Barry M who found out the hard way and abandoned all hope). Unfortunately, Lanza offerred him zero support, misled him - along with all of us - and likely lied about every single thing Lou may have asked him about relative to BD's ongoing business.
I have to think he is now more attuned to reality, and given his financial stake in BDGR, is wishing for something positive to come along and bail him out.
Who knows, maybe Lou knows something he's not telling. If that's the case, I just hope and pray it's not anything Lanza has fed him. Dining at Lou's family table is one thing. Swallowing anything Lanza says as having even a hint of truth may not be a good idea.
Who said: "When Lanza's lips move - he's lying." ?
Soso- How can you not trust a man who sees the best in everyone - a man of integrity who refers to a fraud like Lanza as a "Good Family Man"...
Don't tell me ....I think I already know...
:> (
Soso - Lou has often referenced his position (and has no hesitation to reference another's - smacks of a total lack of Integrity to me)
He has also posted his own willingness to have committed additional monies to Joe (for discounted stock) in an effort to provide sufficient funds to meet payroll.
Perhaps he is wiling to share how many shares he does own.... then again, perhaps he'd rather reveal how many shares others may/may not own.
Maybe "Mars" can post for "him" or vice-versa......
It just doesn't get any better - does it?
Perhaps a more realistic letter to our Pal Joe:
Dear Joe,
I wanted to take a minute out of my busy schedule to congratulate you, and your immediate family, on a job well done.
What you have managed to accomplish during a lifetime of corruptness, fraudlent activities, and unrelenting deceit, is more than anyone could have expected.
You have indeed set the benchmark for lies exceptionally high for other criminal frauds to achieve.
I sincerely doubt anyone will be able to accomplish what you have:
*A Continuous manipulation of fantasy facts,
*An Unending raft of statements of falsehoods,
*Forever flowing Twisted misrepresentations of lies to convince unsuspecting investors,
*The successful defrauding of still more unspecting investors through new, erroneous statements,
*An uncanny ability to convince at least one gullible individual of your status of a good family man,
You have earned every bit of your cemented reputation for adepteness at Defrauding, Deceiving, Misrepresentating, and outright Lying for all these many years.
Your time spent in prison was well spent devising yet additional ways to screw the innocent and unsuspecting investors.
But, I consider your crowning achievement to be that of actually having anyone believe your sorry spicket of sinister lies.
You, Sir, have earned the title of "King of the Mischiveous Minds - Prince of the Perverted Phonies, and Master of the Gullible Investors.
Again, my sincerest congratulations for not only continuing to breath the polluted air that is expelled whenever you speak, but for your high level of successful and consistent fraud.
A true testament to your knowledge of the art of deception, and your deftness at inflicting fraud without remorse, is mirrored in your ability to transfer these sick traits to your immediate familiy.
You are, indeed, a good family man.
Hoping to see you again in an orange jumpsuit, perhaps at the bottom of Caddo Lake.
I wish I knew.
It wouldn't be the first time someone who owned a large position and has consistently promoted something, has made bad judgements and can not see through the self generated smoke and wishful thinking.
I'm still not certain what went down when we all met with Barry M last year.
Speaking of Louisiana:
Associated Press
Energy Sector Roundup: Down Goes Oil
Associated Press 02.01.08, 6:09 PM ET
"Of the major oil- and gas-producing states, Colorado gained 17 rigs, Texas eight and Alaska two. Louisiana lost six rigs, California three and Oklahoma two. New Mexico and Wyoming were unchanged."
Fascinating isn't it.....Ddin't know or care to share the number of outstanding share count either....hmmm...motives?
HMMMM.. I GUESS BUYING SHARES FROM JOE AT DISCOUNTED PRICES TO HELP WITH PAYROLL EXPENSES DOESN'T COUNT....
"INFORMATION ABOUT SEC INVESTIGATIONS"
"Each year, thousands of investors ask the Securities and Exchange Commission to investigate the activities of other investors, financial professionals, corporations,
brokerage firms, investment companies, stock exchanges, and others. These complaints generally suggest some impropriety or misconduct and sometimes make a plea to the
SEC for direct assistance in resolving a grievance.
The SEC has the authority to investigate whether violations of the federal securities laws have occurred, and we make every effort to evaluate promptly and thoroughly
the information provided by investors. But we cannot investigate every investor complaint. While many investor complaints do lead to full investigations and, if
appropriate, to enforcement actions, we cannot guarantee that our review will lead to further investigation or that the SEC will take any legal action.
We also cannot provide updates on the status of complaints or requests for an investigation. The SEC conducts investigations confidentially for two main reasons. First, we can conduct investigations more effectively if they
are not announced publicly. For instance, important documents and evidence can be destroyed quickly if people hear of an investigation. Second, we keep our investigations
confidential to protect the reputations of companies and individuals if we find no wrongdoing or decide we cannot bring a successful action against them. The SEC will not confirm or deny the existence of an investigation unless, and until, it becomes a matter of public record as the result of a court action or administrative proceeding.
When there is proof that someone has violated the securities laws, the sanctions may include financial penalties, orders to surrender profits, cease and desist orders, or an injunction by a court to prevent further violations. The SEC may also bar individuals from working for a securities firm, investment adviser, or investment company. We can also ask a federal court to bar individuals from being officers
and directors of publicly held companies. In some situations, we may refer a case to the Department of Justice for possible criminal prosecution.
The SEC publishes news releases about its lawsuits and administrative actions, and the news media often report on them. You can read and download the SEC's ""Enforcement
Actions"" on our website at www.sec.gov/divisions/enforce/enforceactions.shtml.

Actually, You don't Pass or Fail an SEC audit.
The said audit will disclose everything. Lanza will be exposed for what we all know already.
Of course they do. Any reasonable business person would insist on one.
That will be the immediate undoing of any/all negotiations/interest when they see the fraud and misrepresentations a real audit discloses....
Lou, as businessman, are you telling us you would accept a simple audit - not look for an SEC compliant audit before you entered into buying a company?
I though you were a whole lot more intelligent than that.
Speaking of rookie - you certainly are COMPLETELY unaware of yesteryears's goings on.
I assume you now know how I was able to get the factual information despite your dismal denials of having any knowledge of certain and specific FACTS.
That source of current relevancy remains active.
I guess that's not good news for you.....
Metro, maybe we can convince a Director of, say, Apache Oil, to give us all a best guess of what he sees in the immediate future for his company (w/o divulging any inside info of course....)
Would we act on that info?
Ya think?
I can't resist - the temptation is just TOO great!
We all get a guess - yes?
HA! My best guess is that:
Summit will conclude their purchase of BDGR's assest by noon next Wednesday. They have already arranged for Lanza's immediate arrest on multiple fraud and larceny charges. The final buy out price will be $5.85 per common share of BDGR stock to shareholders of record as of 1/29/2008. The monies will be paid in the form of cash, except to current Directors of the Company who will be paid in expired Disney Dollars and 1968-1969 Military Payment Script.
Of course I have absolutely no inside information which would support or suggest that I know what I'm talking about.
A second best guess is: Summit will soon discover the underlying lying and misrepresentations by Lanza regarding assets, oil production, cash position, unpaid bills, and other looming catalysts that will ultimately prove Lanza to be a Good Familiy Man.
NOTE: I Have absolutely no inside information regarding the current or future state of Black Dragon - other than what certain Directors and employees may have revealed to others when they didn't know I was "listening".
Guess ya just can't trust anyone these days.....
Good one.
A Director of a company PUBLICLY posting his best guess about goings on in the Company
And THEN stating he has no inside information to suggest he is any where near accurate in his assessment.
Gee...I hope no one was listening and acted on this best guess from a Director...a Director with GREAT INTEGRITY, no less.
Makes one want to run out and buy more ... or sell....or wonder what the heck to do...
In Case you missed it: (Time for some updating, methinks)

I landed in LA midday on Wednesday and returned to Boston on Saturday. I spent a portion of each day except Saturday at Black Dragon and will do my best to give everyone my observations and impressions.First things first, Joe Lanza. A big bear of a man that seemed to rule with strength and kindness. I was afforded the opportunity to sit in Joe’s office with him on Friday. ... I cannot thank Joe enough for his hospitality and openness in allowing me to dine each evening with him and his family. I was treated both like royalty and one of the family. To meet with Joe personally and see how he is loved by his family, gives one a far different opinion of him than has been portrayed in the past.
...I did a quick estimate and came to the conclusion that there are 1200 or so wells and over 500 in production and that these wells produce in excess of 8000 barrels per month.
...I was scheduled to be taken to see some of the problem road conditions at 2:30 on Thursday. ...I figured with my 22 years of road construction experience, I could take care of all their problems in short order.
... I met and spoke with Nick (I’m guessing he is operations manager for Petrol), Mario Lanza, Pres. of Petrol, Dave Taylor, office manager, and Gary, BDGR’s new CFO ...
The Audit. I spoke with Gary concerning the audit and although in the past I believe I had received far too optimistic estimates concerning the audit from others. There it was, 6” deep on Gary’s desk. Correspondence labeled to and from Malone and Bailey. It is happening. Being a director, I have the ability to speak directly to partners at Malone and Bailey and have done so in the past week. They have confirmed that a retainer had been paid some time ago and that the audit is moving forward. I must please request that potential and existing shareholders refrain from calling the audit firm as they cannot give out info to anyone but officers or directors and any phone time can be charged back to BDGR at $250/hour. Gary believes a realistic estimate on audit completion is the end of August or early September.BB listing for those of you that may be unaware, it is in the works as well. We have contracted with a securities lawyer to handle our listing application and SEC filings. I expect that we will apply for listing as soon as the audit is completed.
The big wild card here is Mike Ellis. I have not had the opportunity to speak at length with him as of yet, but expect to this week. His credentials and abilities are without question and a huge asset to BDGR. And if his predictions of increased well production are even close, we will be a major player in LA oil production soon.
I have done my best in what little time I’ve had to understand the people and workings of our company. The statements I have made are to the best of my knowledge accurate and honest. My belief that we are extremely undervalued has been reaffirmed by this visit.
Louis Chighisola, Jr., Director

Remember that 57tbird said that the only ones that Lanza cares about are people with last name of Lanza? If that is true, then Joe has gained more respect from me than I can say I have for 57tbird, as family always comes first.
