Perhaps, just perhaps, a better analogy:

The attending Doctor you thought was your friend, failed to ask what was right or what was wrong with the patient...What healthy signs were present? What irrepairable injuries might be present? What remedies may be required? What should his immediate family be told about his condition? Instead, our trusted Doctor choose to simply, and publicly state, that the patient's CEO was a good family man - revealing nothing about the patient's rapidly deteriorating condition. UGH!

The Doctor you thought was behaving in your best interests, was simply covering his own A** by denying or withholding information that might be informationally beneficial to you -

The Doctor you put your trust into concealed material facts that would prove detrimental to, or expose those who were causing the pain.....

The one person who proclaimed integrity, honesty, and forthrighteousness turned out to be either (a) unable to ascertain or understand the actual facts, or (b) kept the data to himself to limit his own fiancial exposure, and to hide his lack of good, and proper judgement....

Just perhaps....this Doctor should be stripped of his physician's license, along with his nursing staff of Miss Represent, Miss Lead, and the ever present, Xavier Con.
