Very interesting developement indeed...
It is possible that they held the Apex eval until the mineral rights agreement was inked?
It would have been very hard to get a fair agreement after the eval.
Glad to see something happening,
its a start
figure just the royalities alone on these 2 plants will be worth 365K/annually
yeah, makes you wonder is someone isn't digging around those trenches right now trying to find some?
More pictures up this weekend,
Looks like truck loaded and on its way.
MP, not sure why I should even engage you,
sheer entertainment maybe?
As for a smaller one, gezz I’m sorry… why bother?
But as a long, I guess you volunteered your hoe services to the company.
Or at least at a competitive rate?
What was your point here anyway? Other than being negative, like usually.
For someone with an admitted small position you sure are negative all the time.
You think you’d post positive comments… unless you are short and/or want the price to go down… I think that’s been mentioned here before….typical….
So are you questioning the backhoe operator’s ability to dig these trenches?
They look fine to me, any idiot could operate one of those machines, it doesn’t take a high school education. (no offense to other hoe operators reading this post, I’m sure you dig fine trenches and make lots of money doing it too)
Besides, the skill here is not digging a friggen hole in the ground, is it?
You might need to know what to look for.
I guess you are a qualified geologist too? (ofcourse)
And I mean more then knowing the difference between dirt and rocks.
Ok expert, how long should it take to dig through the piles of freshly unearthed rocks and separate out 30 tons of material that has to be bagged.
What was your point anyway?
Yes, and as for the financing package it was for "Up to $900,000";
Which if I recall they exercised the full amount.
However there was no release regarding the exact cost of phase 3, it surely wasn’t the entire 900K. They paided down their debts, cleared their ticket with Apex and I’m sure they buried a lot of incidentals in there. It’s all part of the game.
I always like it when posters give wrong information.
First of all it wasn't a Million dollars!
We dont have the breakdown of the project so maybe you shouldnt comment on something you know nothing about.
Second you could NOT have done that work in less than an hour. give me a break....Do you own a backhoe and a trucking company..etc...
But then again, I guess you are the expert so maybe we should listen to you... LOL
Yes, the website was updated in the afternoon
Pictures look great,
dont know what some of you guys were expecting to see differently?
What else would there be...
Backhoe..
Trenches...
piles...
rocks....
bags of sorted material ready to go back to apex
..handfulls of diamonds?...
ok that would be pushing it....
But everything is looking good to me
Fibernachi retrace is complete, we are good to go now
buyers are starting to come back in
website down? (deltamine.com)
I guess we could be getting that update soon
Of course DeBeers is watching, after all they are the "Thugs" of the Diamond industry. I would bet that their geologist has already visited the site and they have inside connections at Apex. Right now they will just sit quietly by and wait, there is no move yet to make until the samples are analyzed at Apex, it could get interesting around her in a couple of weeks. We already know that there are insiders that will a get a heads up and will be trading ahead of news, would expect the same on this instance as well.
Can't believe how quiet it has gotten around here,
I guess all the bashers have either gone away or flipped back in for the ride?
Work is supposed to start tomorrow, let us just see what they have to say.
I'll second the motion to ban Stoxbox....
the amount of disinformation from this member is troublesome
and typical of a basher type. I dont see anything noteworthy or credible from this member.
I also personally called the transfer agent yesterday to clear this up for myself and confirmed the numbers
A/S 250 M
O/S 166 M
R/S 67 M
Agree, too many shares to be just a retail move.
MMs have been playing games alot lately with the book.
let us hope it has something with the upcoming exchange move, the specialist just shaken the tree before he looses this issue.
look to me like someone has decided to bail.. big time...
tax loss selling...maybe?
I guess they figured there is nothing happing with W2 and they are out of here.
What we seam to have here now is a classic round of FUD
That’s right.. I’m calling a duck a duck,
But that’s ok,
You bashers just keep throwing out all of your unfounded negatives in an attempt to drive down the price on the eve of a major event.
Like you don’t have any interest in Delta...?
Yeah right, you are just trying to be a good guy and just trying to warn everyone before the impending doom….LOL
Just a page out of the classic flipper handbook if you ask me.
I guess the $900K doesn’t exist either…
hummm, interesting volume and movement
could be nothing but....
I finally had an buy order filled on Etrade at 0.17 yesterday afternoon, been sitting on it since it resumed last week. They ignored last week even when it was trading below 17, I guess maybe they are finally getting current?
My take is,
Almost of the ducks are lined up now in a nice neat little row.
A plan has been ironed out and is starting to unfold.
The news we all have been waiting for is all but certain.
I think we will be hearing what this is very shortly!
just rambling....
This is going to be a very interesting year.
Actually it's going to a very very busy year.
Company announced that they have "atleast" 3 more recoveries planned in 2007. Each one of these is going to bring bring bigger and bigger attention to our little known company. This year will definetly put OMR on the map, pretty soon Odyssey is going to be better known than Fisher when it comes to shipwrecks.
As for this wreck, it is going to continue to be a major news item for some time come as the facts unfold. Let us get used to it because probable every wreck is going to be surrounded by a cloud of uncertainity.
Not sure how this will jeaporized the Sussex project?
UK is somewhat pissed (but atleast they know OMR can do the job on the Sussex)
Spain is really pissed (maybe they should contract OMR to salvage their wrecks/or those in their waters, I'm sure we could work out a fair split to make everyone,(even hot headed spainards).
Company is grining ear to ear... doesnt help.. but possession is 9/10 of the law. (or so they say)
I dont think all the MMs/brokerages are operating on the same page today. I dont trust the data today. Looks nice though...
Bid Ask Volume
0.07 0.20 51,502
with that 200+% gain on the board, I wonder if some traders will happen by...
very strange...
maybe someone did their math wrong and thought 0.22 was 0.00022 ? and was a great deal....
take that back
2 trades just crossed
0.25
0.22
for a total of about 50K
what about that?
MM are still playing with it, or most likely, are ignoring it.
I'm showing
bid at 0.01
ask at 0.28
vol 8550
last 0.05
I placed a bid above the active bid and it isnt showing (typical MM manipulation)
I'd say we are about due for something very soon, need to strike a deal and get back in there during the summer while its dry.
Just checked it,
Web site working fine for me...
Looks like we may start to see some real news flow from W2 in the very near term.. Looking good
looks like the selling is starting to ease too,
the ask is starting to move back up
History is just that history...
It has been a long haul to get to this point but things are about to start accelerating.
I am sure there are plenty of mining companies out there looking at this and ready to jump. Let us just hope we get a decent deal... 10-20% cut would be awsome
My bet is a deal is struck very shortly and work started as the conditions improve over the next few months.
My bet is they are taking this company private in the very near term. All this talk of warrants and stuff is just a smoke screen, seams like they have deep enough pockets not to need the dilution associated with this form of financing,
dont need the headachs.
They will have the shares need to approve any buy back, just have to wait for the final deal to be completed and then just pull back the shares. Done deal
They are all ready said they will pay up to $1.00 to get our MOST of the shares, the ones that dont sell now will be just be bought out... probable a 30% premium to our highest trading price over the next week or so.
Right now it will be just a wait and see
From Feb. 13 PR...
"Management expects that the results of the tests will be released in a matter of weeks"
4+ weeks, expect news very soon.
...typical brain dead basher comment, you would first have to have some revenues to move to another exchange.

DOE Releases Information on Loan Guarantee Pre-Applications
WASHINGTON, DC – The Department of Energy (DOE) today announced that the Loan Guarantee Office has received 143 pre-applications requesting more than $27 billion in loan guarantee protection as of the December 31, 2006, submission deadline. These pre-applications, representing project costs of more than $51 billion, were submitted in response to a Department of Energy solicitation issued in August 2006. The pre-applications currently are under preliminary review.
“This demonstrates a great desire from industry to get federal loan guarantees in place to spur innovative and novel technologies that lead to clean energy,” Secretary of Energy Samuel W. Bodman said. “As we move through the process, experts will be taking a hard look at the proposals, the design, and the financing risks associated with each pre-application with the hopes of inviting some sponsors to submit loan guarantee applications to DOE as soon as possible.”
In the full-year Continuing Resolution that was enacted into law on February 15, 2007, Congress provided DOE with $7 million to fund the operation of its Loan Guarantee Office, and authority to issue guarantees for up to $4 billion in loans. The President has requested $8.4 million for operation of the DOE Loan Guarantee Office in FY 2008, with a loan volume limitation of $9 billion.
Analysis of the pre-applications received by the December 31, 2006, deadline shows the following:
The technologies represented by the Pre-Applications include:
49% biomass
16% advanced fossil energy technology
12% solar
6% industrial energy efficiency projects
17% other
Pre-Applications by requested loan guarantee amount:
61% advanced fossil energy technology
10% industrial energy efficiency projects
14% biomass
7% solar
8% other
Pre-Applications by total project costs:
69% advanced fossil energy technology
11% biomass
7% industrial energy efficiency projects
6% solar
7% other

DOE Invests $385 Million in Six Cellulosic Ethanol Projects
February 28, 2007
DOE announced on February 28th that it will invest up to $385 million in six biorefineries over the next four years. Once up and running, the biorefineries—located in California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, and Kansas—are expected to produce more than 130 million gallons per year (mgy) of cellulosic ethanol. Combined with the industry cost share, more than $1.2 billion will be invested in the new biorefineries. The six projects support President Bush's Twenty in Ten Initiative, which aims to increase the use of alternative fuels to 35 billion gallons per year by 2017. See the DOE press release.
Cellulosic ethanol uses non-food plant materials such as switchgrass, wood chips, and sawdust to produce alternative fuel. While the refining process for cellulosic ethanol is more complex than that of corn-based ethanol, cellulosic ethanol yields a greater net energy benefit and results in much lower greenhouse gas emissions. Of the six selected companies, four of them—BlueFire Ethanol, Inc., Broin Companies, Iogen Biorefinery Partners, and Abengoa Bioenergy—aim to employ processes that free the sugars from the biomass and then ferment them into alcohol. The two remaining companies plan to first gasify the biomass into a "synthesis gas." Range Fuels intends to convert the synthesis gas into ethanol using a catalytic process, while ALICO, Inc. will employ a unique process that feeds the synthesis gas into a fermenter to produce ethanol. ALICO's process was developed by Bioengineering Resources, Inc. (BRI). See the process details on the BRI Web site.
The southern California plant proposed by BlueFire Ethanol will be built on an existing landfill and use sorted green waste and wood waste to produce 19 mgy of ethanol. In LaBelle, Florida, ALICO proposes to build a 13.9 mgy ethanol facility that will draw on vegetative, yard, and wood wastes. In Emmetsburg, Iowa, Broin plans to expand its corn ethanol plant to produce 125 mgy of ethanol, a quarter of which will be cellulosic ethanol produced from corn fiber, cobs, and stalks. In Shelley, Idaho, Iogen will build a plant that will convert wheat straw, barley straw, corn stover, switchgrass, and rice straw into 18 mgy of ethanol. Range Fuels' proposed Soperton, Georgia, plant will produce 40 mgy of ethanol using wood residues and wood-based energy crops. And in Kansas, Abengoa Bioenergy will build a 11.4 mgy ethanol plant that will draw on corn stover, wheat straw, milo stubble, switchgrass, and other feedstocks. See the press releases from ALICO, Broin, Range Fuels, and Abengoa Bioenergy.
Nice find docrew,
this whole industry is starting to come of age.
My bet is that in a year or so there is going to be alot of people who wished they had gotten into these develepment companies earlier. Once the first large scale biomass converters go online it will create a wave of interest.
Might be one of those MM signals or trading group signals but most likely nothing at all. I've seen the 100,200,...500 signals from MMs but thats about it.
So why is the withdraw of the BDC supposed to be a tigger event?
Frees up some cash reserves but still dont see much revenue coming in.
I think the shorties were wanting those extra shares.....
opps, they arent on the market boys and wont be
to bad
so sad
Yes it for real,
Just a matter of time before we start to see the actual revenues rolling in. By then PPS will be trading much higher.
