Where's JPetroInc? I need to here from one of the oldtimers.
Haven't been following NEOM in over a year and a half. What's happening with the company? Any reason to believe there's going to be good things for the investors in the future? Looks like their balls are still tied down by YA
NeoMedia Lunatics, how have ya been? What's been happening since reverse split and the pps heading down to 1 cent? Haven't been around for a year or two. Anything to be hopeful for?
Hard to believe that there are those still pumping this garbage.
Have ya noticed the .03 pps? We were here before the 100/1 reverse split. Investors, if they weren't involved in day trading or trying to turn profits, have lost 99.5% of their investment.
Let's stop chattering about the beauty of neom. Give it a rest.
All righty then...
seems to me at this point there's a ton of companies that have begun dabbling in the 2D code technology.
When are the royalties coming and when will we finally be up in the $3 - $4 pps, so I can make my initial investment back?
Come on now.... this is what we've been waiting for, for the past decade, right?
Which end game are you referring to?
The next legal action:
Should be an injunction in the courts aiming to prevent neomedia from any future financing with YA Global...
and
to nullifying any agreement made that stated YA was our only financing option...
-because these actions are detrimental to the health of this company and its common shareholders
-because of the past relationship between Iain and YA Global
-because the inside information that YA Global has received since day one.. from that very relationship and from YA having office space in neomedia's headquarters.
Wasn't Iain McCready hand picked by YA GLobal Investments / Cornell Capital Partners to be the current top dog at Neomedia, because of a past relationship with him?
Does Iain have our (common shareholder) best interests at heart?
If YA GLobal Investments / Cornell Capital Partners decided to pull the plug on future financing, will Iain secure outside financing from a 3rd party, or will he go along with YA's plan to sink the company (because he'll reap a reward anyways)?
How deep does his past relationship go with YA?
Does he even care if Neomedia succeeds... due to the fact that the IP is the real 'value' in the company... which can be sold anyways? What's preventing Iain from receiving a little backpocket cash from its sale, for stepping out of the way? Or maybe a swiss bank account could be set up.... or is already set up for that very occasion.....
I support Claw, as this can only 'cleanse' neomedia. Even if it only cleanses the company a bit... it's worth it. If it sheds light on any other shady activity, including fraud and insider trading, etc... then even better.
Krays, I'm sure many on this board are envious of you, due to the fact that you only lost 5 grand. I'm down at least 75%... and it makes me sick to my stomach to know how much I'm down right now.
Thanks for the reporting on the court documents last fall. Much appreciated..
They ARE involved in something like that... it just depends on how deep the corruption has penetrated.
I think we all knew things were a bit suspect.. but were willing to let in slide as long as we were going to pull a sizable profit. Now that our profit potential is been reduced to almost NADA, the self preservation mode has kicked in.
I'm sure none of us would be surprised if it is found out that corruption has saturated every corner of neomedia management, including the bods.
How about former owners & executives? How much have they been involved with the inner circle of YA? There's alot of people who have benefitted massively from their time at NEOM. I wouldn't doubt seeing many of these people having the benefit of inside information, etc...
How deep will this investigation go is the question?
This stock isn't for the weak at heart. You'd better just
find something else to fill your time.
I have my doubts as to whether he's a man of any honor or integrity. I would be dumbfounded if that happened.
He's just milking his position, and befriending the money. He's in bed with the 'woman of the street' and has no intention of honoring the 'family' relationship of common shareholders.
The microscope has officially been placed over YA GLobal.
There's nowhere to hide, now that there is a legal investigation.
I can't see how the SEC wouldn't get involved in some degree now.
I believe the more stones unturned, the more corruption is revealed.
It only benefits the 'company' and the real 'company shareholders'. We have already lost massively from this relationship. There's only upside.
YA can be ruined. NEOM execs and BODs can be implicated.
Any revealed wrongplay & corruption only BETTERS this company.
It ain't going nowhere... it's already in the schlitzer.
Maybe this leads to getting the poisonous tentacles of YA off from around NEOM's neck... and we start to breathe on our own again.
I don't think little YA would want the SEC overly curious!
The suit was filed on 4/28? So, the 60 day period just started then... they have until the end of June to respond.
Maybe the suit will lead to the judge nullifying the complete financing deal from January and YAs granted majority voting rights/RS outcome as well.
Thanks clawman!
Claw - I thought that the 60 days must have passed by now.
I'm glad it's public now.
So, what should we expect in the process now?
Nuestar & others submitted clearinghouse proposals to CTIA back by September 30th if I'm not mistaken. How long does it take to make a decision on who's going to run the clearinghouse?
For God's sake, let's get on with it already.
Nice response jcg.
White flag would mean you're surrendering.
Green flag could possibly mean everything's a go?
If there aren't some amazing things coming out of CTIA for Neomedia, next week... March 22-26
then the shareholders meeting on March 30th is going to be one ugly mofo.
which would be a sign of ................. ?
CTIA is next week?
Surge.... let's hope for a surge to .05
If it's going to be granted to anyone at a specific time,
it should be announced at the CTIA conference.
It's been 6 months since bidders submitted their proposals.
Let's get on with the show already.
Well said, and simply put Claw. This is the most accurate perspective out there, one that I've stated, and one that many here have stated, over and over again.
Supporting a R/S, par reduction, and the A/S and liking it?
Renowned happy talk.
Or is it plain denial?
Agreed. Votes of 'against' are official declarations of your opposition to a reverse split, reduction in par, and the available shares issue. It's also saying we don't agree to this type of financing.
We wouldn't want to stand by and NOT vote your opposition.
Everyone needs to vote.
Say that YA doesn't vote with a 'temporary' majority share count, and it PASSED because us 'other' shareholders don't vote.
That would be a pisser.
YA's temporary 52% voting power...
Has it been determined beyond a shadow of a doubt that:
It is LEGAL for YA to gain the majority voting rights for a temporary period of time?
or
They are able to actually temporarily grab this temporary 52% voting power?
Could it all be a ploy to encourage people to NOT EVEN VOTE?
to try to pass this garbage without that fraudulent maneuvering.
Thanks gentlemen. I received the proxy in my email. Luckily I checked the spam folder. AGAINST.
My TD Ameritrade account holds my shares. Should I expect to be contacted by TD Ameritrade, or a proxy in the mail?
All of you have received the proxy in the mail already?
All shares of all series could be only converted at .40
or higher after the RS ... under that scenerio?
Thanks cloud. Hopefully you reach that number 9 cloud through this investment.
So, to get back on the Nasdaq, we will need:
A minimum pps AND minimum revenue?
Nasdaq & NEOM.
If I'm not mistaken, neomedia was listed on the Nasdaq in the past. Curious how that happened, as I assume we've never had much revenue.
Also, if we were already listed on the Nasdaq at one point in time, are the requirements to RE-list different for Neom?
Or are the requirements the same as for a Newbie getting listed?
Nice to be reminded of some of the other relationships we've built. This particular relationship is nothing to sneeze at.
"Neustar Vice President Diane Strahan was a panelist in two heavily-attended Mobile Barcode discussions that involved corporate heavyweights such as Coca-Cola, Visa, National Geographic and WPP Group."
"Ogilvy & Publicis - both owned by WPP - the 2nd largest Ad Agency world wide"
Even better question is:
Why did this thing get forced down below
.006 or .007 or .008 in the first place?
So the answer is easy to the original questions...
Because wild, meaningless fluctuation is neom's style.
YA Global was illegally converting shares below par in Feb 2009 - Apr 2009?
What I think is this.
It's a fabulous patented intellectual property portfolio,
which is why I've been a shareholder.
Neomedia has been managed by a bunch of donkeys. Up until
this latest round of financing, and the horribly suspect terms
that management agreed to, I was willing to give this latest management team the benefit of the doubt. Now, I have serious doubts to whether they have any concern for us 'other' shareholders.
Latest Neomedia management did consummate the relationship with Neustar, both in the US and Mexico. They did forge ahead with mobile codes consortium and the other mobile associations to push this forward.
They have begun licensing with a few takers so far. What is the revenue model for these contracts? If this thing does in fact take off, what will our revenue model be for future licensing? Will we actually makes some impressive money, or will we be giving them away cheaply?
I believe the 2d mobile marketing phenomena will take off, and that the company is possibly positioned to reap 'some' reward. I'm not sure where we, as shareholders, are going to be in terms of reaping rewards.
If the company continues to agree to horrible financing, then our chances of reaping anything dwindle significantly. Management took the latest loan, agreed to a R/S, and the reduction in par in January.
Who here thinks we'll be raking in enough money, with the spending this company is known for, to avoid another round of
'kick the common shareholder in the teeth' financing with YA?
Because you know we won't be heading to any other source for cash, other than from YA. Even though management says YA might allow the company to seek financing through someone else.
How the heck did we contractual agree to NOT seek loans from other sources? Is that legal or ethical?
Therefore, my perspective is slightly residing on the pessimistic side, but I do know there is a possibility and have hope that EVERYONE will benefit, at least to some degree.
I believe the original possibility that us LONGS since 2004
no longer have the opportunity to become massively wealthy, which was possible back in the early days.
I'm not surprised that you again missed my point and objective to dramatize neomedia and Ya's relationship. It's disgusting and I'm sure equal to tens of thousands of other instances in the market. Sorry you didn't grasp the intention.
The point is... there's a chance that every one of us shareholders are wiped out. There's also a chance the we actually make a profit some day.
From being a witness to neomedia history for the past 7 years,
I have zero reason to trust anyone in the company. I have even less reason to trust YA Global. Everything is done in the shadows and in the dark. Even you'd know that that is not a comforting fact.
Let's stop the progressive cheerleading, please.
Keep a balanced perspective. I offer both positives and negatives concerning this company and stock.
If you're unable to decipher the underlying point...
here it is.
Neomedia's history with YA could be the most horrendous
thing the securities market has ever seen.
There will be a reverse split. It's weeks away.
If you're foolish, you might say there's absolutely zero
chance they do it again in the future. But, you're not
that foolish.
As for dilution... horrible problem or nothing to worry about?
As for share value... horrible problem or nothing to worry about?
Ra ra ra.
Maybe NITE, neom management, and YA Global were involved with security fraud, including insider trading... which has scared NITE into the shadows, hoping not to be exposed.
How much dilution will YA Global inject into our stock?
How many times are they going to reverse split our shares?
How much will they crush our share value?
..... before they actually make money and the pps starts rising.
Even if the pps someday makes it to $5 .... they might have already reduced our holding from a couple million to a couple hundred or less.
A sale makes more and more sense, with each passing day.
It's astonishing to see this company... holding the patents, having a seat at the podium leading this phenomena, and their stock price sits under a half a penny.
.0045 Wow.
If this doesn't tell us something about the incompetence or fraudulence of neomedia management and their financing partner YA Global......
Weren't we supposed to be the owners of this company?
Class action lawsuit? To gain control over all neomedia operations, and booting YA out of the inner circle? There's no way that having a YA manager with an office in Neomedia headquarters is ethical, and it can't be legal in my opinion. Just like giving YA Global temporary voting rights to knock out every other shareholder in the company.
How much is YA Global worth to date - it would look much better in our pocket. Then, slap on some criminal suits against all of them, after we've won the class action.
(Update) If legal action is taken against YA Global and possibly
Neomedia management, they can take a look at the history of
this IHub thread. All the proof of shareholder desire to vote
on this issue is recorded.
I'm still struggling to understand the legality of accepting terms & giving YA 52% voting rights, temporarily. It isn't ethical, and my guess is that it's not legal.
The court injunction idea to block this action seemed to be reasonable. Why should they get the right to implement policy that only benefits YA, but benefits YA in huge ways?
PREVENTION IS THE BEST MEDICINE. I'd rather protect our investments by taking preventative action, to be safe, and let
them operate in a more transparent manner.
Would seem to me it's intentional sabotage. Nobody gets hurt except the common shareholder. Neomedia, YA Global, Neom management, and the BODs stay on the high ground, while the common shareholder gets hit by the incoming flood.
