Yes GSK is a great vote of confidence in this technology. I believe this type of marketing will start gaining traction in the coming months.
What happened Barry wouldn't they let you in to take a look around?..Shuckers don't they know who you are? LOL!
One thing is for certain the trading has gone from 100 or so shares per week to over 1K per day, so that tells me at least the word is getting out. Q2 report on 8/11 should be interesting.
Pretty vague, care to post a link?
Here is the latest news from Thinfilm:
Hello,
Decided to post something here to see if anybody is out there. As far as this company goes I went to their manufacturing plant in SanJose just a couple of weeks ago. When I arrived at the plant I noticed a tractor trailer parked in the back unloading some of the processing equipment. This falls in-line with what management has been reporting that they are in the process of building out to support the roll to roll process. Still there is a ways to go until Q1 2018 when they are scheduled to be fully operational, but yes they are indeed busy working towards that goal. That being said good luck to all... Even you DeaconY
Very odd indeed, and may I add how observant of you to point out that tiny oversight...as in they haven't reported ANYTHING for well over a year now. I was hoping since you arrived back on the scene you could clear that bit of mystery up for all of the others peeking in through the Ihub window. And may I add you made me smile for still remembering my old alias..for old times sake what were the other three you used and then "retired?"
What really irks me are claims of actually knowing of wrong doing and deception as it is happening and not taking the matter to the proper authorities. Instead the notion was to take the easy way and post it on an obscure blog and leave the decision making to the investor who has zero knowledge of the credibility of either side. If I knew first hand, as in witnessing and concrete evidence, there would have been no hesitation on my part to turn the SOB in.
Thus my question, since it has about as much relevance as posting news after the fact,..which is it briefs of boxers?
"If anyone was still in Bob's camp it would seem to be you. The poster with the gamblers username." It would appear relying on the minds eye fits well good luck applying that in the real world.
"Judging" thats exactly right. All I asked was whether "Bob" prefers boxers or briefs, and I get a reply with this full blown hoo ha. What I find interesting is the accusations that I am somehow in Battis's camp and yet who is spilling out all the information? not me... LOSERENERGETICS!
I would like to take a poll which does Battis prefer boxers or briefs? Seems like everything is known about him but that.
"His Dazer was the dumbest idea and he poured all shareholders money into it."
Well isn't that a surprise and here I thought he blew it all on personal luxury items. As far as the dumbest idea comment why because it didn't gain support from the taser wielding gun slingers who are supposed to serve and protect? the same ones who shoot kids with toy guns? are those the smarts ones LOSERENERGETICS?

The possibilities are endless IMHO
Thinfilm Awarded..
A good recent article dated 3/9/2015 shows that the product does work.

Looks like another wait and see stock. The problem with new technology is getting the customer to understand the value in it. Techno-geeks, like myself, can utilize the technology, but anything that adds cost to the bottom line..well it remains to be seen. If consumers demand it then it will happen. If consumers like things as they are then this product has a very long and steep hill to climb. One good thing I can say about this company is they do reply to questions in a timely manner and with straight forward answers. Bottom line, as with any of these cheap stocks, DD is key.
A new report on this sector, and Thinfilm Electronics is listed as one of the prominent players.

Welcome mellowrk! Yes these are some exciting times and I like the way the company reports their financials. If you go to their website you will find a post dated March 2, 2015 where it is spelled out the number of shares exercised by employees on February 27, 2015.
Thinfilm Electronics (TFECF)
Saw their product being demonstrated at one of the local Whole Food Stores.
More information about this company can be found at:

Just saw on the local news here in Portland Oregon a demonstration of this technology at a Whole Foods Store. The reporter selected a herbal over-the-counter product. When she tapped on it with her cell phone some of the information provided was the ingredients and how it was safety tested for human use (if animals were used etc.) The reporter was impressed and liked the fact the manufacture supported animal rights.
In a way I'm not really surprised this happened here in Portland since the city already has an established high tech employer base with Intel, Epson, Boeing, Honda just to name a few.
I think the next couple of weeks are going to be interesting to say the least. I bought this stock early last week, and even though the price has dropped since then I still believe there is a sizable upswing in the near future.
The pressure to be the first to launch the next greatest thing has to be off the charts. So to me it is imperative that Thinfilm hit the ground running and never lift the foot off the pedal!
The market is ripe for this technology. The barcode system, at 40 + years old, is antiquated and long overdue to be completely overhauled. That is where thin film comes into play. Almost everybody has some form of smartphone which, IMHO, has not reached even 2% of its full potential. Information is key to marketing products these days from grocery items to pharmaceuticals to the clothes you wear. The consumer wants this information. By tapping on an item having this tiny strip will transmit information immediately to the smartphone screen, Pretty cool stuff. Again I recommend going to the companies website. There is a wealth of information which is the companies mantra. I find it refreshing to find a pink sheet that has so much transparency. They are on Facebook and Twitter plus others I'm sure.
The company just posted their Q4 financials.

Welcome, this is cutting edge technology that has unlimited potential. Click on the link provided above.
From a person who sees the glass half full. ...534,000,000 current dilution at a burn rate of 150,000,000 every three years and the Max is set at 700,000,000 looks like the window is set at 3 more years. Take it for what its worth. The recent action is somewhat encouraging. Good Luck everybody
Its a free country and its your right to post concerns. Only time will tell if those concerns are valid or a waste of calories. I think the real tell tail would be for somebody to post todays trading action and somehow put a face to who is responsible for it. IMHO ...GLTAL
Nice action today huh? 300K shares traded so far and just a whisker away from .005! Rock on maybe by 9/13 (one year to the day) a substantial PR will be presented.
"Nice to return and see the Dazer interest maintained" Meaning nice to see this board is still alive. Being it IS a blog for the maker of the Dazer Laser and not Taser that is a totally different blog site. Take a look 3 posters already today and waaaayyyy before the bell. I do believe LaceyLug's observance of "interest maintained" is spot on.
So the politically correct and short answer to that statement is a resounding No.
I do believe "A" for effort is exactly what I stated, and for something that happened 20 months ago (as some have put it) I believe my observation is spot on. If we go back those 20 months that was "the" time to get the word out. Fast forward to today and my post about spending to get the word out is, in my opinion, a waste of time and resources. Sorry I put a buzz into the comprehension mechanism.
I do believe if you read the last portion of my reply it did not state the SGM was the decision maker. I also discussed my reason why the Dazer was not selected. So they came to demonstration without certain attachments, although I do believe they had the specifications and technical drawings for them.
Probably not the best scenario, but it is what it is. Bottom line a contractor(s) had already been welcomed into the system therefore a very steep hill for LEI to climb even before any demo was to be conducted. I give LEI an "A" for effort despite the odds. A person could say they were trying to get the word out with the hope of winning the lottery.
I don't agree with the argument of liability when LE's have embraced the liability the Taser brings. So there can be many claims of eye damage? Well eye damage from a laser can be verified through an eye examination. Not too tuff in my opinion. Here is another way to look at it how high is the risk of death by Dazer vs death by an electrical shock to the heart? So liability is probably about the same between the two, But again here is this speculation buzzing around. No actual facts just heresy .
so let me get this straight you spoke with an SGM who has a higher level of ocular distractor experience than a beat cop correct? And going by the tone of the message he was the decision making individual when it came to contract time correct? This is all well and good DeaconY, but for an individual who is seeking information there are a lot of questions left unanswered. Yes the Dazer was not selected,,but why? You mentioned this group of individuals already have been using other makes of ocular distractors, so from my point of view a contractor has already made a solid relationship thus has a much better advantage over a company that is new to the ocular distractor industry, and is unfamiliar to this group. In my opinion this is the real story behind why LEI is unsuccessful. Its not so much the Dazer, but a very small company with no clout. Not many people are willing to take a risk when they are already comfortable with the relationship they have established. I think most people would agree that once a contractor has established a good relationship I don't care if the device under test is far superior its not going to be selected. I have seen it time and again especially in a government funded environment. The problem does not reside with an SGM it goes way up the ladder to the individual who has signing privileges.
So what you are saying is that since one street cop did not know about the Dazer then LEI's efforts failed to get the word out correct? One individuals reply was more than enough to assume all LE's are unaware of the Dazer. Does that statement even make good sense? Just scratching my and wondering.
Funny that should be mentioned. I too asked a local policeman about the Dazer and his eyes lit up and said he would love to have a Dazer in his arsenal, and went on to speak about the coolness factor and that there can never be an over supply of weapons since every situation is different and to say either this or that is the answer is fooling themselves. At the time I had spoken to this individual it was for my personal interest, and due to that I kept it to myself instead of using it as some promotion aspect, but times change and the element of discussions become competitive, so to put a bit of balance in the universe of less than lethal weapons I decided now was the time to share my own LE experience.
My question is why spend the money if the goal was to get the word out? I believe they met that goal and personally am not surprised there has been any trade shows announced or attended for over a year. And as far as being open for business I would assume a good scrubbing of the local business report would yield that information quite redly.
Is it possible to write a reply that is more vague? "The people I know" So?" I know people too who have spoken, and dealt with Battis, and have a total different opinion. So I guess once again the argument is at a stalemate. Without eye witness, verifiable accounts this is all just a bunch of rumors...PERIOD!
Keep up vigilance. One year has rolled by, and by the looks of the number of new inquiries it would appear the interest in Laser Energetics Incorporated has not diminished.. rather it has increased! Wow go figure. I guess when it comes to bad news the old adage "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink" comes into play. GLTAL
Thank you for your efforts Deacon. I could have sworn that somewhere along the line I read the Alexandrite Laser had the characteristics that were ideal for mean beam technology i.e. tune ability and air cooled. I stand corrected.
So if the tunable pumped laser is not Alexandrite then please expand on the laser that is incorporated in the Dazer mean beam technology.
I do believe your concept of lasers is a bit skewed.
