Yes, we are continuing to find out what has been going on with SOCI. Mr. Newsom is an original investor in the company and has some contact with the CEO of SOCI I believe. If you havn't already, please go over the e-mails in detail that we posted.

I sounds like SOCI will be up again trading after its filing issues with the SEC get dealt with completely.

I asked Mr Newsom these questions:
People ask me questions about what is going to happen to all of our shares. Do you have any knowledge of this? Are our shares still good? Should we get our shares from our brokers and hold them ourselves, since many brokers do not respond to any questions about SOCI?

This was his answer:

I can not answer these questions as yet, but I will ask the lawyer and see what he thinks. The brokers have nothing to see until the company does a news release or a filing and therefore they have nothing to tell you.

Andrew Hudders the company lawyer has asked Ricardo Munoz to check with the Chilean Navy on the concession at Lota Bay as to the status after the earthquake. It appears the concessions are still intact and the damage is minor at the site with the access road suffering the only significant damage. I will try to keep you informed of developments

Yes, this was recent. About two weeks ago I asked the CEO of Majestic Silver to give the email of David Shaw so I could contact him.
I recieved this email from Mr. Newson yesterday.

David Shaw told me about your inquiry that was sent to Majestic Silver and then forwarded this to me. That is how I have your email address and inquiry.

There is no real contact to the company as we are spending our money to bring the company back to trade not on PR.

SOCI was delisted as the company could not bring all audits upto date as the old records the lawyer said he had were never delivered to the management and therefore the missing audits could not be completed. As the company had been a reporting issuer, this meant that the company was in violation of SEC rules and was then delisted. The directors were give bad advice by the previous lawyer and that is why a new and very competent lawyer/law firm was retained.

As the filing are filed then accepted there will be news releases about the status of the company. Once the company is back trading with working capital I would expect the management to update the website and release the appropiate news to the shareholders and the public.

As I stated in my email to Jurgen, the audit and all related material is either in place or very close and the required filings with the SEC and Finera should be completed shortly. From that point onward it is totally upto the timing of the SEC and Finera for approvals for Southern Energy to come back to trade.

I have no offical capacity with SOCI and neither do the other shareholders invlolved, we like you just want to see the company come back to trade. To date with the help of Mr Ricardo Munoz, the President of Southern Energy, we have funded a new securities lawyer, Anderws Hudders of a large New York firm, a new auditor, Daniel Lafley, CPA of M&K CPAS, PLLC and have answered all question to complete a new set of audits. We expect to file an S-1 filing with the SEC and a 15C-211 filing with Finera within days.

Our group of investors has also kept the Lota Coal Concession in Lota Bay Chile in good standing and once the company is trading again we expect that with the expertise of consultants and large shareholders, we would still expect to develop the project.

We have been in touch with the Chilean Navy and they stated that the pier and the surrounding area that was to be used to recover the coal has not been damaged as much as most areas by the major earthquake of last weekend that was centered some 60 kms from Lota Bay. The timing of the project will now depend upon the reconstruction of the road and railway system in the area along with the trading approvals of the SEC and Finera.

The only one from SOCI that I possibly can contact is David Shaw because he works also for other companys like First Majestic Silver Corp. I tried to contact him but they didn't respond to my question. I really want to ask him some things about SOCI because he is the only one that works for another company and didn't disappear in the dark like the other crooks. Unfortunately, I do not have any other information on SOCI. I believe that the company is still functioning but I do not know more than that. Sorry.

As for SOCI, the company was halted for failing to keep up with their filings and to my knowledge has chosen not to relist at this time. This is a move that no one could have predicted.

Yeah, well, thats how the game is played, I guess. They still have their website up. Just have to hope something come up, soon.

It is true SOCI was halted last year. PSC was advised that this was done as they did not keep up with their filings. As to why the stock is still inactive I do not have any information. There are a number of rumours as to why they are not trading but I do not have any confirmed information as to the actual reason.

I can't find the email of the CEO, so now I'm searching for the email of David Shaw because he works for others too.

Well, I tried contacting them in Oct. '09 but no response either. Pennystockchaser.com told me that they might be in the process of restructuring the company, etc. I've tried to find some kind of recourse too, believe me. I put a lot of money in this too. You can try Pennystockchaser.com yourself since they were the ones promoting this-and they should have warned investors somehow before the freakin' ground dropped out from beneath us!

Is there anybody here that could tell me if Soci is ever gonna resume their activities? I failed to contact the company and I wanna now if I going to see my money back. Guess not but you never know.

Read this please. Ever since this stock was it's new symbol "SOCI" from it's old one "CHAT" it showed in my Scottrade account as "#CHAT". I couldn't buy or sell it. I called to scottrade and was told they didn't get some papers from the transfer agent. Anyways I get a letter a few days ago and now when I click the "#CHAT" symbol in my account it does not direct me to any stocks page, not even the SOCI page.
