Every board has a group of people that says their stock will go 'way up'. I dont mean this in a negative way; since they invested money of course they feel it can do well. Of course anything is possible with penny stocks as they are unpredictable. If you have money that you can afford to lose then it could very well be a gamble. However, there is a big difference between something being possible and probable.

What do you all think about what I hub, Pennystockchaser and the rest have saying about SOCI? Can their predictions have any weight especially since gold has been going up? They are saying the old high of $1.23 might be realized this week on the way to 4.

well then to mitigate risk I would sell at market price as soon as the market re-open. this is a speculative stock and shouldnt be held long term (as with all pennies). good luck.

todays point was probably the high, I dont see it going up much more on this promotional campaign...you might get one more good trading day out of it ( a few more % ) but nothing to indicate it will go higher in the short term (or long).

Southern Energy acquires property at Lota Bay coal concession

Sep 04, 2009 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Resource exploration company Southern Energy Company Inc (Pink Sheets:SOCI) (Frankfurt:8CE) has closed on the acquisition of one hectare (10,000 sq. m.) at the base of the former major shipping pier in Lota Bay, Chile, the company announced on Thursday. Financial details of the acquisition were not available.

The pier is surrounded by the Lota Bay Coal Concessions.

The company said that the property gives it full road, rail, electrical, water and other infrastructure access required, for not only a washing and separation plant, but for all components including the sales, pickup, and delivery of the recovered coal from the Lota Bay Coal Concessions.

This acquisition of this property reportedly gives Southern Energy the land base to finish the last engineering study and commence the planning for the recovery of coal from the Lota Bay Coal Concessions.

Southern Energy in negotiations to acquire coal deposit in Chile

Sep 02, 2009 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Resource exploration company Southern Energy Company Inc (Pink Sheets: SOCI) (Frankfurt: 8CE) announced on Tuesday that it has commenced negotiations on an additional coal deposit located near Concepcion, Chile. Financial details of the negotiations were not available.

The deposit is in relatively close proximity to the company's current coal concessions in Lota Bay, Chile.

The company said that it expects to negotiate and acquire this additional coal deposit over the next 60 days.

Southern Energy plans to become more aggressive in its acquisition of known coal deposits in this region as a result of a recent announcement in a Santiago, Chile newspaper by a major Korean industrial company, announcing its development of a USD2.5bn coal-fired electrical generation plant in the Concepcion area of Chile.

0.012 is the bid and 0.016 is the ask

You can usually expect an instant sell to go through bid or an instant buy to go through ask.

The reason why I mentioned the bid and ask spread is because it has been 0.012 x 0.013, but the ask moved up without any buying pressure.

This is significant because there were two sellers at 0.013 and now they are gone, which implies that either they have sold all their shares on bid, or that they found out something that is causing them to believe their shares are worth more.

Both of these scenerios are good for current shareholders

The buy order was definitely set for a reason, someone is accumulating as much as they can for a particular reason imo.

There has only been 1 mm supporting it all this time, which leads me to believe that it is either one market maker or one trader/investor accumulating.

I feel confident about my position knowing that thousands of dollars are being bought up by this person.
