$IBRX This company is a game changer, and for investors, potentially a life changer. IMHO, this is true:
* Unrivaled vision targeting indications worth hundreds of billions.
* Multiple platforms synchronized to provide symbiotic pathways and a multi-faceted approach to both treatment and cures.
* People, patents, mfg plants on a scale typically seen only with big pharma
* Vision, scope, and claims backed up by stellar trial results that exceed SOC (including Keytruda).
* Potential for SOC, first line treatment, and preventative care ranging from cancer to covid (icing on an already huge cake)
* A billionaire backer with a proven track record who is unlikely to quit or sell.
Your sarcastic response to Brandywhomever is a bit of joke in itself since a 9 person sample size is, actually, very small. Moreover, didn't we already get a news release on the first 4 weeks back? Perhaps that was something else.
In any case, I'll put on the Sarcastic Hat and say, "you have a point because the .06 pop proves Mr. Market loves the news".
Better than bad news certainly.
BTW, I'm in for 27k shares, not a bear, and these relatively trivial news releases mean little.
Can anyone understand the question the reporter asked about SRNE in the white house briefing today?
See
yeah, seems like the experience/knowledge level has declined. I used to be able to call and get a quick answer, but now I'm on hold for over an hour no matter who I choose to talk to (margin, customer service, tos help, etc.), and often the answers are wrong or they say "call back".
The real problem is that I can't trust the net liquidity and buying power numbers anymore, so TOS is becoming a problem rather than a help.
Trading SRNE on TDA, balance and option errors.
Note that the rep I talked to on 2/15 said they were having problems with SRNE trades all weekend. Here's a synopsis of TDA errors:
2/15: Mistake 1: I should have been long 1500 SRNE on exercised calls, but instead was assigned on options I didn't own or sell and ended up short (-1500 SRNE).
2/16: Mistake 2: To deal with a margin call, I bought to close and called TDA. The rep said it was mistake for me to be short and would reverse those trades. They did, but the fix would have been to get me long again and it didn't happen and I didn't catch it.
2/18: Mistake 3. Account net liquidation dropped 20k in value for no obvious reason. Called TDA again. They said I'd have to call the margin dept. since nothing could happen until the next morning. However, late that night TDA deposited 21,000 in my account without notice. I thought it was some sort of reasonable adjustment.
2/19: Based on my balance being up, I traded 200 contracts based on TDA's option buying power numbers
2/21: Mistake 4: Turns out the 21k deposit was a mistake and was removed. Instead, now I'm long 1500 SRNE and I get an email saying "we're sorry we should have exercised these calls 8 days ago". Since I traded on the wrong balance provided by TDA on Friday, now I'm back in a maintenance call. I sell the SRNE stock for 13.50 which was exercised at 14. Spent the day closing positions at a loss that I opened on Friday based on the incorrect buying power TDA provided on 2/19. Cost a couple of thousand there.
So after 20 calls, hours on hold, multiple TDA mistakes over the week, and reps that either don't know anything, provide incorrect information (twice), or don't respond to calls/emails, TDA says they'll deposit 453.00 since I sold SRNE for around 13.58 and the strike was 14 the week prior. I'm out my losses on Friday trades I was forced to close as well as a day and half of work.
Looking for insight into no data on the primate study.
I'm long but wary here. Does anyone have anything intelligent to say about the missing NHP study data? See https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/why-im-not-buying-vaxart-stock-2021-01-16
This is the only missing piece in my investing thesis right now.
Also sold 1/2 after 2 day climb. However, I'm certainly hoping to buy back more mid to high 3's. FOMO for sure, but taking profit as a matter of principle.
Unless I'm missing something, searching the board apparently requires paying a subscription.
btw, where does Sam get the numbers?
Where can I find script numbers?
I've been going here: https://minoption.wordpress.com/amrn-scripts/, but the page is usually not current. Search posts here is slow.
Do up to date numbers live somewhere?
Thanks.
Where can I find script numbers?
Tasty,
Thanks for the dash of realism sprinkled on top of the bullshit "BO buy monday" blather with which folks like marzan are clogging the board.
There are a number of potential catalysts, but there is also a possible news desert between now and FDA review decision (priority or not). Then several months after that.
I'm actively trading this, and it's very difficult to balance FOMO with a desire to hedge and/or cash in on high premiums. For example, I sold 100 20.00 April 18 call contracts against 10,000 shares for 1.36 as a hedge against a possible short term decline. That happened. Now I'm buying back for .30 or so. If the stock climbed 10% by next Friday, I'd start missing out. But will it? Should I pay 3k on the unlikely possibility of 10%+ in 6 trading days?
Since my core outlook here is long/up, I'm gradually selling my stock and buying deep in the money calls (15 and 17) for Sept and Jan 2020. It's ultimately cheaper margin wise than owning the stock. Of course, I could lose it all that way and have limited hedging opportunities in the interim. . . . decision, decisions. . .
If you or other (rational) folks have better ideas, please post.
I've been going here for script #'s, but I don't see them this sat.: https://minoption.wordpress.com/amrn-scripts/
Any other place to look?
Someone over on Seeking Alpha has commented that there is a rumor that the EVAPORATE results may be released in March. Does anyone know any specific details about that study?
What up with the gain today? No news. . .
I've been trying to follow the trial closely, but I have missed when a verdict is expected. Has this been posted?
thanks,
b
