Not sure I agree with gaining the trust of veterinary clinics being difficult. Many (but not all) vets treat cats for hyperthyroidism with I-131. These vets understand the abilities of targeted, injections of isotopes and are very familiar with the procedure of handling radioactive isotopes. They would welcome the opportunity to treat more pets once they see Isopet’s effectiveness.
But you are 100% spot on about the shipping. The Nuc-Med pharmacy I worked for (recently retired) received and shipped isotopes on a daily basis around the NYC area and the East coast. In fact, the new Long Island clinic signed on for Isopet is one town over from our Plainview office. It will take time, but once the word gets around, Isopet is an easy win.
Hey TillTom…don’t watch, you’ll never learn

I know ya hate to hear this over used phrase “somebody knows something” ...but...maybe someone does
COOP...we’re going up again...good job swami.
Hey Coop...we’re green, how did that happen?
I was reading WSB last night, and this morning before it got shut down...those people were on fire. 4.4 million registered “degenerates” (as they call themselves) might be around for a while. The elites don’t like their private casino taken over, but those WSB peeps don’t seem too deterred, and trying to silence them only gets them more worked up.
Several trading platforms shut down GameStop, AMC, Nokia, Bed Bath and Beyond, Blackberry and a few other tickers. Sell orders were allowed, but no buy orders on some penny stocks. Both AOC and Trump agreed in separate posts, that it was a crime that individual retail investors were being shut down to protect hedgefund interests. Hell just froze over when they agree.
It was a play on our old friend Volcano... he never called for an eruption like that video
Super Volcanic Eruption
Radium in soft drinks was in the 1920’s...100 years ago. Using radioactive isotopes is not some dark science shrouded in mystery. Having worked in a very busy Nuclear Medicine pharmacy for 19 years, I can assure you, that the use of radioactive isotopes is more common that you know, especially in cancer treatments.
I thought the same thing...glad I’m not the only one who misconstrued this. Got it now.
100%
Well, since you showed us yours, I’ll share too since you’ll know exactly where this is. We are not completely decided on LBI, but if we do, it would be a house like this one. I’m leaning more toward Beach Haven West, if we could find the right house. Like to have my boat out back.

So either way, I’ll need a realtor. I’ll be giving you a call for sure.
I have to agree with deke...you hit the nail on the head...dead center
Yea, I just told everyone they are going to make money now that he showed up.
Hey blue...know you from RDGL...I just bought into this yesterday, good to see you here. It looks really sweet...
Feels like they’re saying...”last chance to buy”...better get some
Scroll down to the section “potential complications”...

This is what makes Radiogel superior.. no spheres that migrate and the gel keeps the Y-90 exactly where it needs to be, in the tumor.
No, this is very similar to Sirtex Sir-Spheres treatment...but RDGL does use Y-90 as does Sirtex
No calendar?
I’m thinking that we have an over simplification of a complex disease when considering thyroid cancer. Many levels of the disease and options are considered...no mention of I-131 leaves a 3rd option.

Lunch break? C’mon man...couple shots of Jack and up we go!

Easier to read it, than try to explain it
Years ago, we used to carry Quadramet (Samarium-153) treatment...$25,000 for the first dose, then you came back for dose #2 for another $25,000. Figure somewhere in the neighborhood of $100,000 possible for a complete regimen. It fell out of favor as a treatment because of the cost.
Going back to a question about earlier this week about the possible pricing for a RDGL treatment. Someone mentioned Sirtex Sir-Sphere as a comparison, so I contacted my Nuclear Medicine pharmacist friend for some information.
Sirtex charges a hospital $17,000 for one treatment. Of course, the hospital then bumps that price. But how much? Well, based on a study from Europe, the hospitals there average $14,000 on top of the $17,000. Hospitals here in the US would definitely would charge more than the Euro average, but each one would set their own price. Hope this helps our number crunchers here on the board figure value.
I agree 100%
Yea, I kind of pushed him on it because I figured there was some confusion. He realized it after a little back and forth.
Unfortunately, that guy was mistaken...his cat was not treated with Isopet for hyperthyroidism. The cat got the usual I-131 treatment we did at our Nuc Med Pharmacy for many years. His wife thought all radioactive treatments were the same, and confused the issue.
After waking up to 64 posts this morning, and reading through them, there was some insightful analysis for sure. My 2 cents...there has been more tweets and info put out by the good Dr in the last month or so, than in the last year. When things progress at this pace, and we hear about it right away (transparency as Wallnut has said many times)...you can’t help but get a positive feel for where we are heading.
Happy Birthday...and New Year...party on!!
I hate seeing grown ups cry....just sell...you’ll feel better
I’ll be down to pick you up...I’ll drive...I need to get a workout in today
I’m going to vote for my daughter who holds several 100K...YES
My vote...YES
Good to know...thanks for the information. The Nuc Med pharmacy I worked at is a major supplier to Memorial Sloan Kettering... having an organization of that caliber on your side (similar to Mayo) can open many doors. The future looks bright.
I have 2 questions that I haven’t seen answered, and maybe someone knows...
1) How did RDGL get hooked up with Mayo? What or who was the connection or the facilitator in getting the 2 together?
2) Who’s idea was it to apply for BDD? Did they both have that in mind, or did Mayo see what RDGL potential is and say “we got to get this out there ASAP?”
Just being curious and trying to connect the dots. However it happened, I’m glad it did and I think we are a shoe in... but it does interest me.
I lived through the RS and wasn’t “wiped out”...they did it to fix the share count which was out of control...
The Nuclear Medicine pharmacy I worked at was supplying radioactive seeds to hospitals several years ago. But demand fell off because the seeds needed to be removed after the treatment was completed. People didn’t like the idea of 2 operations for one treatment. Not very cost effective either.
