We were chatting about "facts" not too long ago...
There's another "fact".
I believe the implication was simply that Lexaria can't seem to get any coverage (i.e., interest) aside from the coverage it pays for; which, IMHO, is a fair point.
Well... I'm sure we can all agree that there's a difference between you figuring your story ought to be told - and paying someone to tell it - and someone else figuring your story ought to be told - and paying someone to tell it.
I'd say "you must be new here", but I know you're not.
This has perhaps been one of the most consistent phenomena about Lexaria - its PPS is essentially inversely correlated to its news.

What's with this remark outta nowhere...?
The DehydraTECH IP is the product.
This means licensing - and patents to protect them - is how the business intends to make money.
Perhaps surprisingly, no one wants to license IP without proof it's going to work first.
Studies provide (or don't) said proof.
All that said, they're pursuing a product too now; so, we'll see how they fare there.
IMHO, if everyone who isn't Bunka or management voted "Against", it would still deliver a "vote-of-no-confidence" type of message to Bunka and management, sure!
Yeah - classic Lexaria: inversely-proportional news and stock price.
Almost regardless of context, when a company like Altria "nibbles", then disappears, then comes back, I'd figure that's a pretty darned good sign...!
('Course I've done plenty of "figuring" that's been just plain wrong; so, use your own judgment. *XD)
Thanks for sharing Gaffer.
"Bumka"...! XD
A small fintech company I worked at for ~4 years got acquired a few days ago.
The CEO is a mutual acquaintance of both myself and a good buddy of mine who's worked in investment banking for many years now; so, my buddy's "kept tabs" on them.
I expressed my surprise at the acquisition - when I left, the company had been in business for about 10 years, and was yet to become profitable. Buddy immediately came back with "they got acquired because of their IP - not their revenue numbers."
For what [little] it's worth, I suspect that:
1. DehydraTECH is legit - and possibly paradigm-shifting - bioavailability technology.
2. Bunka's perfectly happy being exactly where he is [in life].
Accordingly, my guess is that Bunka is content with Lexaria just "riding the research wave" - i.e., banking more and more IP - until either (a) he just decides he's bored / tired / whatever of it all one morning, or (b) someone makes him an offer he cannot refuse.
This is all my $0.02, as usual - I "know" nothing.
I don't know if this - i.e., filings - qualifies as "hearing back"... but it looks like Chris & John just got re-upped:

Crap - I was between "more of this" and "more of that" yesterday; and it looks like I should've gone with my gut - not my greed. :D
But no worries - I'll just wait until the [good] news somehow causes the PPS back down below yesterday's low later today, and buy it then. XD
(Kinda unrelated; but, since I shared the original link about Merck's pill...)
Merck being Merck again:
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-merck-covid-pill-cost-b1933100.html
Merck says it has oral COVID-19 treatment:

These past two weeks (or so) have been a slow but pretty steady climb.
Fingers remain tightly crossed.
Though, I have to admit I'm glad I told the boss (wife) back in the day: "To be clear - let's not put anything into this that we're not willing to part with."
I sleep easy.
Yeah this is honestly the funniest stock I've ever been in - the better the company appears to do, the worse the stock does! XD
"Asking for a friend," MB...? ;D
Meh - I've been accused of worse.
Same, bunkamayshear... What's your point?
"It's... 'Smith' - Agent... Smith." - Agent Smith
Uh-huh...
"Ignorance is bliss," MB. ;)
"Never wrestle with a pig - you just get dirty; and besides, the pig enjoys it."
Enjoy your Lexaria shares!
