I could not disagree more.

IMHO:
Awarded patents are "facts".
Signed licensing deals are "facts".

PPS is also a "fact", sure; but it is very much unlike the aforementioned in that it is (1) fleeting (case-in-point: your $2.20/share remark is already technically wrong - so no longer really even a fact), and (2) susceptible to the vicissitudes of the market, as Charlie Munger puts it, and rarely reflective of the true value of a business.

So if you're going to rely on "facts" to make a judgment, I'd argue PPS is actually a pretty lousy one. But that's just me. You rely on whatever you wish, of course.
