OMG! Alternative universe time here.
Congratulations to HHSE. First major theatrical opening, the beginning of a new era of enhanced consumer visibility. Now, let's get a CGI feature happening!
HHSE Dancing Its On Premier, just got an invite from someone named Desiree at HHSE to attend their red-carpet premier at Harmony Gold Theatre on Oct. 13. So I have to ask myself, is my invite a sign that there's going to be a major animated feature in HHSEs future?
The ugly truth about HHSE lawsuits.
Unlike most here, I am actually a film industry professional. So I know that the business of studio distrubotor is thankless and ripe for criticism. If a film sells well, it's because the producer is brilliant. If a film sells poorly, it's because the distributor sucks - and these bad sales are not representative of the market's response to a poorly made film! As a result a lot of frivolous or baseless lawsuits are filed against distributors, ranging from unpaid interns (see LA Times on LIONSGATE), to creditors that want to change payment terms. The ugly truth about HHSE is that they have far fewer lawsuits than any other company in the indie sector. Lionsgate is tracking at 2 lawsuits per week (around 100+ per year), yet it takes HHSE 21 years to get around 100 in total? Are the HHSE guys slacking off in this department? If HHSE stepped up its lawsuits, would they hit the $1-BN revenue range of Lionsgate? It's an ugly truth, but I concur that HHSE is lagging way behind in the litigation arena.http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/envelope/cotown/la-et-ct-lionsgate-interns-20140613-story.html
The HHSE PPS is insanely low. Going to buy some up next week!

All I can see is a ton of sellers lined up and no bid support. Why do you think otherwise?
Another POT stock? Sounded like a good idea for a business, but the only winners of EVERY OTHER marijuana offering have been the promoters and insiders. Going to research some DD on CGRA.
Animated DVDs are growing in sales while other categories continue to decline in unit sales according to Home Media Mag. At Hemdale Parkinson had three #1 national bestsellers with animated titles including one of mine. Animated films are easy to place in theaters because parents need diversion for the kids. They are easy to sell on DVD because parents need babysitter tools for the kids. They are easy to sell on TV because broadcasters want obedient little audiences to stare at the screen and receive their Happy Meal messages. So, why is it so hard to get HHSE to acquire and release an animated film? Seems like a pretty easy concept to follow. Not trying to be critical of management at all. Just wondering why it hasn't been pursued?
Update for City of Friends animated series would be appreciated if anyone has heard back about this blog.

Even better> market support already proven for European animated projects for HHSE to acquire. http://www.animationeurope.com/inproduction.asp
HHSE should try to get these movies:

If only a pattern could be seen and replicated?
As a shareholder in HHSE I am racking my brain to provide management with helpful advice on building the company to a major player. In studying the major studios, all at $1-BN or more in yearly revs, what pattern looks obvious?

3). Did I say The Magic Voyage?
No disrespect intended, but I see a problem here.
These are some SERIOUS numbers:

Any updates on CITY OF FRIENDS? It was blogged on April 16, but I can't find any formal announcement. Parkinson had three #1 hits with animated titles at Hemdale. I have asked him repeatedly for HHSE to grab some animated projects.
I think their success so far is impressive. Combining outside labels for Medallion makes HHSE stonger. But I do feel the big bucks will be from Vodwiz and I hope that kicks in soon.
You have to reserve AMERICAN JUSTICE to get it at RedBox. Every kiosk in the LA-Hollywood area has it out on rental. I hope HHSE gets a little piece of all that action!

Parkinson responded to my buy back plan. I don't want to post his email here because he also responded to a separate production proposal I sent and I didn't ask his permission. But he said that the current video shipments will turn to cash by March and they are using this new cash flow to retire TCA and other debtors first. But they would be interested to buy shares and retire them based on share price and cash reserves at that time.
Just sent an email to Parkinson and Shefte recommending that they use some of the new sales revenue to start a buyback of shares at these prices. I will post back if they respond. Even just $50k could retire 7.2m shares at todays price.
HHSE should not be paying advances IMHO. Tom Sims has brought in a lot of titles without advances so they don't need to create debt to have product flow. I think one major animated feature would launch this rocket to the moon. As for the Red Bull project, good riddance. Whose distributing it anyway?

Anime is a smart move for HHSE. Happy to see Kite Liberator on the schedule. Wish they had some higher profile anime or more current items, but its a good start.
Signing off this GAIA site for awhile. Sold my GAIA at a nice profit and bought into a Brazilian coffee venture, private investment not a pub stock. Might be back to GAIA in the spring, but this board has zero posters so why add new messages?
Mockingjay> $562-MILLION WORLDWIDE in only 18-Days. Too bad LGF doesn't have another movie like this. Oh snap, my bad. LGF has MOCKINGJAY PART TWO!
I think there are other media entities that would be a better fit for Lionsgate than Viacom. Redstone already has a movie studio (Paramount), wouldn't a second one be redundant? How about Ron Perelman or Mark Cuban - each with media interests and history?
My agent tells me that Alibaba is buying up 37% of LGF in a private transaction. Don't know how I feel about another indie studio being bought by a foreign interest. But I'm definitely feeling good about my LGF shares now. Beats the hell out of the previous suitors. China is the new growth market for the worldwide entertainment industry. LGF would be right there, in Mao's face with an Alibaba partnership.
Solid long-term stock play with GAIA. No drama, no games, just steady growth year after year!
I haven't been able to find any independent movies that have ever premiered at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. It looks like only the biggest event titles have premiered there.

Trading volume on all OTC stocks is super light now. At least for the eight that I follow. Probably some hesitancy to jump right back in for a few traders. Nothing specific against any of the eight, just a general wait and see for OTC today.
Asia is definitely the growth market, check out the grosses for Guardians of the Galaxy in China:
http://www.boxofficemojo.com/intl/china/?yr=2014&wk=41&p=.htm
But the revenue splits are unfair to the studios from China, so while the grosses look strong, the net income is way below the rest of the world markets. Still, it's a really good move to see LGF putting emphasis on all of Asia for revenue growth.
Not finding any evidence of significant dilution of HHSE. Some posters on this board have stated that HHSE has been engaged in major dumps of shares. But from the first public outstanding shares listing (in 2010) to the most recent share listing (Sept. 2014), the four-year change in count is less than 24%. Adding only 5-to-6% of new shares on average each year is probably among the lowest OTC rates ever. Those pesky facts:

Gaiam new "Athletic Yoga" video series has the potential to dramatically expand practioners. The first wave of marketing is a campaign to focus on reaching high school and collegiant athletes with a pitch to incorporate Yoga into their exercise and conditioning regimen. Super Smart Strategy!

Those production listings are often premature or plain wrong. DeNiro is still a good draw, especially in comedies like FOKKERS. Younger audiences are less enamored, so it depends on the material.
50% gains in three days is just the beginning of the rally in HHSE!
Yes, makes sense to take advantage of the artificially low price of HHSE now. Management thinks its worth at least 3-cents, so its probably worth a lot more. They would know everything that is happening with the company first hand.
VERY GOOD TRAILER!
Impressive volume in this stock and this is a hopping board as well. Missed todays action but will try to buy some first thing tomorrow while its still so low.
So weird that so few follow this amazing stock. This is the sort of company that you can count on for profits and results year-in-year-out, no games, no wild swings. Slow and steady upward growth, nice and profitable.
Got an email from the attorney for Millenium, leading to this chart of domestic + international grosses:

Expendibles 3 breaks $200-MM worldwide! That's ranks it already as the #15 top grossing title in the WORLD for 2014!
Price dip for GAIA makes for a good time to add some shares!
