My agent tells me that Alibaba is buying up 37% of LGF in a private transaction. Don't know how I feel about another indie studio being bought by a foreign interest. But I'm definitely feeling good about my LGF shares now. Beats the hell out of the previous suitors. China is the new growth market for the worldwide entertainment industry. LGF would be right there, in Mao's face with an Alibaba partnership.
